"Aw… I wish we got to see more of Dad though," Ruby pouts disappointingly.

"Ruby after that viewing, I'm not sure I can look at Dad the same way anymore. Like, how do you go back from Badass Dad to Normal Dad," Yang replies, conflicted over which version of her father was cooler.

"I still like Dad-Dad though," Ruby states.

"Yeah, I'll take normal Dad any day," Yang replies, smiling at her baby sister's remark.

"Same here. If your Dad was like that during the Zwei world, I think my other self wouldn't have the courage to walk through the door," Jaune adds.

"That's an oddly specific scenario you're talking about Jaune. Are you saying you'd be afraid of meeting Ruby's father if he were like the version of him we just saw," Ren asked, commenting on his leader's choice of phrasing.

"Eh? U-Um. No I'm not saying that at all. In fact! I'm not saying anything else until the next viewing begins," Jaune informs his male teammate.

Ren gives a small laugh at Jaune's embarrassment, he didn't get much time to just enjoy being able to relax and enjoy himself. It's something he's slightly thankful for with this world-viewing situation.

"I still can't believe that Cinder was the underling of Ironbutt. That was rich," Mercury chuckles.

"You know when we get back she'll probably fry you for saying that, right?" Emerald asked her silver haired partner.

"Maybe but I'm gonna enjoy it up till then, Em," Mercury answered.

"These viewings so far have been very informative, why this last one has provided much information on new forms of aerial and close quarters combat," Penny spoke with glee.

"It's good that you're making the best of this situation Penny," Winter praised the young android, admiring her young fri-colleague's optimism had not been affected by the enigma that was this inter-dimensional theater.

"What do you think the theater will show us next? Will it be a new world or a previous one?" Velvet asks her teammates, curiosity eating away at her mind.

"I'm looking forward to the next time we see the SAO world, that one was funny as hell," Coco replied with a grin.

"I'm waiting to see the outcome of the alien world where Jaune, Neptune and the farm boy have to face Cinder," Yatsuhashi chimed in, making his bet.

Velvet turned to look expectantly at Fox, "And you, Fox?"

Fox thinks about it for a moment as he reclines in his chair, "...Perhaps that Demon world will show up later on."

"Eh? What makes you think that," Velvet asked her blind teammate.

"Well it's been sometime we've seen either of those worlds, and if we're going from the order we've seen, I think that the Demon world will be the first one we see," Fox replies.

"Mmm, fair enough," Velvet said, both her shoulders and ears slumped.

"Why the droopy ears Vel?" Coco asked concerningly.

"I was hoping we would see one of the worlds with Ruby's brother or that small farm boy." Velvet said.

Coco tried her hardest to not laugh, "Why those ones in particular?"

The bunny faunus began shaking until she bursted out with a reply while blushing, "B-Because… They were so cute! I was really invested in those ones!"

Coco laughed at her teammate's adorable reaction, then pats her right shoulder, "Oh~ Don't worry Bun, you'll get your fix of adorable children later on probably."

The lights in the theater began to dim once again, then as if on cue the screen came back to life showing them the opening scene to their next viewing.

"Is that a Hedgehog and a Fox on the beach?" Fiona asks.

"Oh, hell yeah! I'm back on the screen baby!" Mercury whoops and cheered.

"Oh brothers why…" Emerald groaned miserably, knowing for the duration of the viewing that he would be testing her patience and sanity.

Just moments after Watts and the creature escaped with the Chaos Emerald, while both Mercury and Oscar remained at the beach. Mercury walks forward on the sand with his pal close behind.

"Sonic! We can't let him get away with this. Can we?" Oscar asked, his tone a mix of worry and urgency.

Mercury turns to look at Oscar. "No way, Tails!" He replied with confidence and determination.

"Without more Emeralds, the monster can't transform, so... It's up to us to find those Emeralds before Eggman does, huh?" Oscar stated.

Mercury nodded, so with both their minds made up the two friends went off to stop this new, foul plan of Arthur Watts.

"Ok, we're not even two minutes in, and I have so many questions," Fox comments. Confusion clearly written all over his face.

"This is a previous world we all saw before some of you arrived, it's… different to put it simply," Jaune stated to the confused meme bees of the audience.

"For one this isn't Remnant, it's a different world called 'Mobius,' and in this world the Faunus are more animal like and can possess more than one feature," Blake explains as best she can about the background of Mobius to the audience members unfamiliar with the world they're seeing.

"Also Oscar here is one of the leads!" Nora gushes proudly. "...Oh, and Grey hair is there too, but we don't care about him."

"Screw you too!"

"Nora, Mercury's counterpart, is the lead in this world. Also, opposed to his other self, 'Sonic,' as he's known as by the way, is a hero," Ren reminds his partner.

"Oh, alright! Sonic is cool. But Grey hair still stinks," Nora said reluctantly.

"What the hell?!"

"We'll try to explain as we go I suppose, there's a lot to unload," Ruby laughs nervously.

After some diligent searching both Mercury and Oscar had managed to locate and get the white Chaos Emerald.

As they walk out of Casinopolis, night has already fallen, and they are just about to continue their search, when suddenly out of nowhere, Watts ambushes the duo.

"Oh no, it's Eggman again!" Ruby cries out.

"Eggman...?" Velvet inquires from the red reaper.

"Evil scientist who's trying to take these gems called Chaos Emeralds to power this water guy to take over the world, or something," Yang summarizes.

"...I don't know how to process that," Velvet replies.

"Welcome to the club," Qrow says to the young huntress.

Yang sighs, "Look I'll be honest. I'm still trying to process everything this world has been giving even since my first viewing of this place Velvet. So just roll with the punches, ok?"

"But I have questions," Velvet pouts.

"And I don't have clear answers, sorry to break it to you." Yang replies.

The rabbit faunus let's out a defeated sigh then turns her attention back to the screen, hoping to make sense of this new world she's watching.

"Hey!" Mercury yells.

Both Mercury and Oscar dodge Watts's charge in the Egg Mobile, but unfortunately, the Chaos Emerald fell out of Mercury's hand and dropped to the ground.

"Oh no! The Chaos Emerald!" Mercury exclaims. He gets up and starts to run to retrieve the Emerald.

"Oh no! Grab it before Eggman gets it!" Oscar yells, panicking as the emerald is up for grabs.

"Are they really going to keep calling that man, Eggman?" Winter questions out loud.

"Quick Faunus Friend-Oscar! Grab the Chaos Emerald before Eggman!" Penny cries out.

"Penny. Not you too…" Winter groans.

'He does seem familiar somehow, but I can't quite recall why at the moment,' Penny inwardly thought.

However, he was not fast enough, as Eggman saw what his nemesis was about to do, and put a stop to it. "Oh, no you don't!" Watts yells.

With a punch of a button on his console, his Egg Mobile emits a purple gas towards Mercury and Oscar.

"Hey, that's a cheap shot Egg-brain!" Nora shouts, booing at the screen.

"Guess it really does suck to be on the hero's side, doesn't it Pinkie," Mercury sneered at the ginger girl.

"Mercury, you do realize that you just insulted yourself, right? You're the one being cheap shot in this scenario," Emerald said out loud to her partner, making sure to be extra loud so that she could be heard clearly throughout the theater.

"...Fuck!" The silver haired assassin curses.

Many audience members laughed at Mercury's failed attempt at an insult that only served to make him look like a fool when he unintentionally, or perhaps unknowingly, insulted his otherworldly variant on the screen.

"You're only mad you haven't gotten a world focused on you Em," Mercury mutters venomously at his green haired companion.

Emerald simply rolled her eyes and decided to return her attention back to the screen, but mostly unfazed by his comment.

As soon as Mercury came into contact with the gas, he began to cough, stopping him in his tracks and could not run anymore.

"Aw Geesh!" He coughed.

A crane arm emerges from the Egg Mobile, reaching to the ground to take his prize. With that, Watts has obtained another of the Chaos Emeralds.

Watts takes the jewel in his hands, smiling upon seeing his reflection from this ancient artifact. The Egg Mobile flies away with the Chaos Emerald and laughs.

"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!"

"Aw no! He got another one!" Ruby cries out frustratingly.

'Even in this world Arthur never fails to disappoint,' Salem monologues to herself, then drifts her gaze onto Cinder. 'Unlike some others I know.'

Cinder felt a chill run up her spine for a moment, she could feel the eyes of her master looking at her in particular.

Mercury, through the coughs, lets out a growl of anger and frustration, reaching his hand out weakly to the fleeing silhouette of the Egg Mobile.

"E-gg-ma-n-!" He lets out just before collapsing to the ground, the effects of the gas finally taking its toll.

"Off to a great start Mr. Hero," Emerald laughs.

Mercury growls in frustration, next time he sees that damn lanky Atlesian he would give him a kick to the chest.

The theater's screen flashes white, once it dissipates, it shows…

A new setting, an island by the looks of it. One with no city, big buildings or concrete in sight. Filled with sandy beaches, green hills, palm trees, cascading waterfalls, and for some reason, perfectly structured loop-de-loops.

"Wait what? What's happening?" Jaune asks, confused why the viewing suddenly cuts away from the scene they had been watching before.

"Oh! Ren, what island looks amazing!" Nora said excitingingly.'

"Certainly," Ren mutters in awe.

"What's with the loop-de-loops," Fox comments out loud.

Hidden on the island is a small village surrounded by rock formations decorated with checkered patterns. Houses and buildings were made mostly of timber from the forest and everything was peaceful.

"Wooo! Hooo!"

A grey blur zoomed around the town at blinding speeds, followed by the laugh of a young child.

"Aw!" Ruby, Nora, Weiss, Velvet, Fiona, and Penny collectively gush at the sight of the young hedgehog faunus on screen.

"Renny, we should get one!" Nora said to her partner, tugging at his arm.

"Nora I'm certain we don't have faunus like those in our world," Ren replies. Though he does admit to himself that the child did look quite adorable.

Emerald, on the other hand, was doing everything in her power to keep any gushing comments in check. She refused to give Mercury any satisfaction from the sight of the adorableness overload that was his baby-DAMN IT!

Mercury sighs in relief, "All is well."

Emerald punches his arm, "Shut up and watch the screen!"

"Aw yeah!" A young Mercury shouts. He keeps running until he sees a familiar house and comes to a stop at the entrance.

"Home before anyone else!" Mercury remarked proudly.

"Don't be so sure," Mercury heard, their voice calm and soothing.

A few in the audience, namely Ozpin and Salem, grew alarmed as a familiar voice became heard from the theater. Particularly, both millennia old beings recognized the voice immediately, as it was of someone from a time far off ago.

The young hedgehog faunus looks through the opened door, inside he finds an older faunus woman sitting upon a perch.

She had many owl-like features, such as talon feet, feathers, and wings on her back. What was most noticeable in her appearance was her kind teal eyes.

"Whoa… she looks beautiful," Fiona whispers in awe.

"She is! She seems so familiar but I'm not sure why," Velvet mutters, scratching her brain metaphorically trying to remember who this woman reminded her of so much.

"Whoever she is, she's got style," Coco praises, tilting her sunglasses down while looking at the woman on the screen.

For RWBY, ALPN, Qrow and Ozpin, however, the woman on screen was an all too familiar sight. While she may have appeared majestic here, they still remained on edge whenever she appeared on screen

Unbeknownst to them, Cinder and her crew felt the exact same way.

"Why the hell is she in my flashback?" Mercury asks himself, cautiously keeping his tone as low as possible.

Salem, herself, wondered why she appeared on screen. By all means, she should have been born millennia ago and could not possibly be around during this time period. 'The multiverse is truly a strange but fascinating place,' she says to herself.

"Longclaw! How'd you get here before me," Mercury whines.

Salem giggles, "Oh Mercury, it's because you tend to get distracted pretty easily. So much in fact that you didn't notice me flying all the way home before you."

"Y-Yeah, well-! I like the scenery of the island," Mercury said, crossing his arms and pouting.

"What's happening here? I-Is she his mom?" Asks the young reaper, her eyes widened at the implication.

"Ruby, it's more likely that Mercury is her adopted child," Weiss rationalizes for her leader.

"Oh yeah, right," Ruby laughs nervously while sporting an embarrassed look.

"Adopted mom?" Mercury questions, his face mixed with several emotions.

Salem stares silently at the screen.

Just then, two new figures came through the front door. The first was dark red fox faunus with bright green eyes, a single tail, and black fur on their forearms and legs. The second was a yellow monkey faunus with blue eyes, spiky hair, and a tail.

Ruby, Jaune, Ren and Nora all became quiet as their attention became glued to the screen, focusing on one person. Someone they had not seen in a long time.

Ruby's eyes started to water, not to the point of shedding any tears just yet, but close. "T-that's…"

"P-Pyrrha…" Jaune whispers her name, someone he thought long gone but was seeing once again on the screen of the theater.

Nora was shaking in her seat, streams of tears free falling down her pink cheeks. Beside her, Ren offered his hand as though he was asking if she needed support.

To his shock though, Nora shook her head in a reassuring manner. "I'm not crying because I'm sad Renny. I-I'm just… I'm so happy that we're seeing in a world where she's ok and happy," Nora manages to explain, using her hands to wipe some of her happy tears.

Oscar looks at the reactions of everyone who seemed to have a connection with the redhead on screen. Pyrrha Nikos, JNPR's lost team member and friend, who had fallen sometime before he met them at Haven.

'Someone that I replaced…' Oscar thought to himself.

Now that Ozpin was no longer in his head, he was able to think without anyone intruding on his thoughts. Ironic how now he wished he'd hear some comforting words of reassurance, but at the moment all he had were his thoughts.

Once Blake got a hold of herself, blinking several times until she managed to find her voice when something or someone familiar caught her eyes, "I-Is ...is that Sun?"

"Aww did Little bro get second place again? That's a darn shame," Sun said in a teasing voice.

"Oh that's rich coming from you, Sun. You're the one who always ends up in last place every race!" Mercury fired back.

"Says the speed maniac!" Sun fired back.

"Who the hell does this guy think he's talking to, eh?" Mercury growls.

"I think he's supposed to be your brother in this world. Him and Pyrrha," Blake surmises. She had no idea if they were biologically related, but then again, some faunus children do tend to inherit different animal traits sometimes.

"Well he's about to make me shove my boot up his throat!" Mercury replies angrily. He never had siblings growing up, so he reacted pretty defensively when insulted.

"Whatdya say?!" Mercury shouts.

"Will you two give it a rest! Everything always turns into a contest between you two," Pyrrha said, trying to diffuse her sibling's quarrel.

Yang laughs, "P-Money isn't having any of their crap. Team Den Mom to the end." Wiping her eyes and giving a fist pump.

"They all speak to each other like they're related," Penny comments, noticing that the behavior between the three faunus children on screen was similar to that of children in a family group.

"Well that's because they're triplets, Penny," Winter replies.

"Huh?!"

"Winter, how could you possibly know that?" Weiss asks her elder sister in awe.

"Seriously, how could you? I don't see that much of a resemblance," Whitley similarly asks, but in confusion of his eldest's claim.

"Well if you were really paying attention dear siblings, you'd have known how these three appear to be of similar height, age, and all faunus. Another indication of this is, as Penny has noted, their familiarity with each other and how they seem to get on each other's backs very quickly without much effort. Finally, the one called Sun addressed Mercury as his younger sibling," Winter breathed in as she finished her small lecture for her siblings. "Pretty obvious really."

Both of the younger Schnee siblings gaped in both awe at their older sister's skill in studying situations, it was rather impressive.

"You're one to talk, little miss perfect," Sun scoffs.

"Children."

Mercury, Sun and Pyrrha immediately became quiet once they heard their caretaker raise her voice. Simultaneously, they all looked to the ground in shame.

"Welp you're dead," Emerald whispers to Mercury, who saw the latter had grown a intimidated facial expression.

"Zip it." The young man retorts.

Salem flew down from her perch. Once landing, she walks up to the three littles ones, her expression for a moment disapproving of their behavior before it softens. She wrapped them all into a hug and covered them with her wings.

"Mercury, Sun, Pyrrha... You know I don't want to see or hear any of you angry with one another. You all matter so much to me, so it makes me upset to see you fighting," Salem chided. "You remember this, right?"

"Yes, Longclaw." The three children said simultaneously.

"And you know, that if either of you three do fight, you each have to apologize to each other. Right?" Longclaw said, reminding them of what she's taught them.

"Yes, Longclaw..."

"So. Mercury, Sun, what do you say to each other?" Longclaw prompted.

"This is ...going a lot better than I expected it to go," Jaune said, astonished that the scene he was seeing had painted Salem in such a ...motherly light.

"Yeah, it's actually really wholesome, which is good?" Blake replies with uncertainty of the words she said.

Many in the audience had only ever seen or known Salem as Evil incarnate, no better than the Grimm, with the exception of RWBY, Qrow and Oscar.

Even so, seeing this side of Salem was jarring to say the least.

Salem herself looked at the screen with a mix of emotions she had not experienced in a long time – bitterness, nostalgia, most of all …envy.

Somehow seeing this version of herself, a kind and sagely caretaker, a mother by all means, created a pang of jealousy for a life that could have been her own. A life she was denied a long time ago…

Both Mercury and Sun looked at each other, they sighed and hugged it out.

"I'm sorry I teased you, and you're not a maniac," Sun said, apologizing to his younger brother.

"It's ok. I'm sorry for saying you get last place all the time, because you don't... well not all the time," Mercury said, attempting to apologize.

"Heh, you little jerk." Sun said, grabbing his brother's head for a noogie. "You still ain't quick enough to stop these!"

"Ah! Ok! Ok! I'm sorry!" Mercury yells in a mix between annoyance and laughter.

"Yang used to do that to me all the time when we were kids," Ruby frowns, then crosses her arms as she leaned back in her chair. "I hated it."

Yang starts at the endearing pout on her sister's face, "Aw, come on Rubes. I didn't do that all the time."

"Seems like that's the closest thing to apology we can get from these two," Pyrrha giggled.

"And Pyrrha. You should also apologize for being disrespectful to your brothers" Salem adds, looking at the red fox.

"What? B-But…"

"No 'buts' young lady. It would be unfair to them if you got out of apologizing to them," Salem said with an amused look.

"No way! Pyrrha did nothing wrong!" Nora shouts, almost like she was throwing a tantrum.

"Nora as much as I really hate to tell you, but my own mother used this tactic on us a lot of the time. If either of my sisters or I get into a fight, we're all in trouble. It's plain and simple," Jaune said, doing his best to explain to his friend about family dynamics, or well, ones he was more familiar with in his experience.

"What!? How's that's fair," The exasperated Nora replies, not understanding what her fearless leader was conveying, and he was her leader.

"It usually isn't about what's fair but more about how you should act towards your siblings," Jaune reiterates.

Nora pouts, "That's dumb."

"Never claimed it wasn't," Jaune chuckles.

Both Mercury and Sun laughed quietly at their sister's expense.

Pyrrha groaned, "Oh... Ok. I'm sorry for not being the easiest person to deal with sometimes. Being the youngest isn't the greatest most of the time."

"Ah, don't worry about it Sis. Me and 'Sonic' here always get ourselves into trouble so sorry for always giving you a hard time," Sun said.

"Yeah you better!"

"Nora…" her partner whispers.

"Last time, promise Renny." Nora replies, returning to her seat.

"'Sonic'? Did you just come up with that," Mercury questioned.

"What? Don't like it," Sun asked.

"Actually... I think that's the best suggestion you ever made," Mercury replies. "'Sonic the Hedgehog!' Kinda has a nice ring to it."

"Aw isn't that adorable Merc, you got your name from your loving family," Emerald coos with mocking understone.

Mercury, however, didn't respond to her surprise though. The young man appeared to be lost in his own thoughts.

Salem was similarly quiet, the longer she looked at this version of herself the more her scowl on her face grew. How dare this theater taunt her, mock her with realities and scenarios involving herself that could have been but ultimately could never come to pass. Her destiny had been sealed by the gods, so she would make them rue the day they denied what was hers alone.

Salem laughs, "Yes, it certainly does. Our young Sonic."

Sonic…

Sonic...

"Sonic!"

Suddenly the screen flashes brightly, everything they had been watching before them disappearing in an instant.

"Ah! My eyes!"

"Shit! Why are these transitions so bright!?"

"Curse you, surprise transitions!"

The white screen remains for a moment until it recedes, where the audience sees from the point of view of Mercury regaining consciousness on the concrete pavement outside of the casino. Turning his head, Mercury sees Oscar was regaining his senses as well.

"Oh we're back here, I almost forgot that this was happening in the same viewing," Oscar comments.

"Indeed, the experience of that dream sequence was perplexing," Penny said out loud, pondering the reason why the sequence was shown at all.

"Penny, that wasn't a dream, it was a memory 'Sonic' was experiencing. Most likely a subconscious link to his past," Winter replies to the young android.

"Oh… I see, so it's only by coincidence that Mr. Black's alternate self revisited those memories," Penny rationalizes with much confidence.

"It's my best theory at the moment," Winter concludes.

Once the two got to their feet, they noticed that it was now day and they were without one of the Chaos Emerald.

"Oh man, what happened to the other Emerald we just had?' Oscar asked groggily.

Mercury groaned frustratingly, "Aahh... I guess Eggman got one of 'em, but the other one's safe. That guy must be desperate."

"That means his two to our one, and that's not good! Come on Sonic, we need to get busy!" Oscar prompted.

Mercury nods, even though the memory he had witnessed was still on his mind, he could spare no time to dwell on it. Their mission at hand had to take priority.

"No time to dwell in the past, it seems," Ren surmises.

"Sometimes it's better if some things stayed in the past, helps make things simpler. Less painful in some cases," Qrow comments.

"That doesn't mean the past will sting any less," Yang said solemnly, rubbing her prosthetic.

Select members in the audience nodded in agreement, others did so mentally as not to show that they agreed with the blonde. Salem being one of those few, but did not dare to show any form of weakness in the face of her adversaries. Especially not in front of him or his followers.

Mercury and Oscar are again seen together after they were able to locate the newly acquired green Chaos Emerald at a place known as the Mystic Ruins. They were moments away from packing up and heading out to find the next one when they noticed a familiar face walking towards them.

Knuckles' theme begins playing

Before them was Yang, a golden dragon faunus with long hair, short wings on her back, a purple scarf and what could be described as a variant of clawed gauntlets.

"Yang, it's you!" Ruby exclaims.

"I'm a dragon!? Hell yeah!" Yang cheers in excitement. "This viewing just got a whole lot better!"

"Nice choice with the purple scarf," Coco adds, giving a thumbs up of approval.

"Yeah, it looks pretty good actually. Maybe I'll give it a try later?" Yang ponders.

"Oh joy, now there's two of them at the same time," Weiss groans in mild annoyance, already dreading future antics that are no doubt to follow.

"Is it me or does she look …tense?" Blake asks, noticing her partner's on screen self lack of a smile and grin.

"Oh crud, Blake's right, Yang's looking serious. She's never serious unless she's getting ready to throw hands!"

Mercury's face brightens up at seeing a familiar face and greets his on and off rival, "What's up, Yang?"

Instead of sharing greetings, Yang's normally lilac eyes changed colors to a shiny red. Without so much as a word, Yang attempts to charge into Mercury with a powerful punch, but Mercury quickly side steps to avoid the assault.

Mercury regains his composure and looks to Yang with mixed concern and shock, "Whoa! What do you think you're doing? Somethin' buggin' you?"

Yang growls and brushes off the grey hedgehog's question, "No time for games, Sonic! Give me the Emeralds you have! Right now!"

"Oh no! Yang's a bad guy! Or girl! Villain, she's a villain!" Ruby cries out in disbelief.

"Seriously!? My first debut and I'm a baddie, this blows," Yang groans in anger.

"M-Maybe there's a good reason behind all this? I mean, perhaps, Yang has a good reason for attacking them," Oscar prompts, trying to ease the blow for the two sisters.

"Now is this gonna be what? Round three between you and me, Blondie," Mercury asks with a snarky smile.

Yang's eyes tinged between lilac and crimson, "On second thought, I could be bad for one viewing."

"Oh no! Yang's turning to the dark side!"

"What!?" Mercury yelled, expressing surprise at the hostility he's receiving from the dragon faunus, but he remained steadfast.

They couldn't afford to lose anymore Emeralds today, so he had no other choice but to ensure that they wouldn't.

"Alright pal, if that's how you wanna play, let's just see you take 'em, huh!" Mercury declared, challenging the dragon to a fight.

Mercury starts the fight by performing a "spin dash," heading straight into Yang.

"OH NO," Yang cried out.

Blake takes a spit take, then places her hand on her face to suppress the giggles coming out, "O-Oh my god."

Yang stares at the screen dumbfounded. Did she-? What was with that break in speech she made!?

Her friends were also thinking the same, as well as the other audience members, but they were too busy laughing at what they had just seen to think or comment.

"R-Renny! Jaune-Jaune! I'm dying!" Nora wheezes in her seat, arms wrapped around herself. "Help me!"

"I'm sorry Nora, I-I can't, I can't see!" Jaune manages to get through despite many tears.

"A-ah shit! Where's my camera when I need it? This is gold!" Mercury begins coughing from laughing so hard.

Salem herself couldn't help but crack a smile at the misery the young blonde brawler was enduring, it has been a while since she's seen anything that was worthy of amusement.

Yang begins sulking in her seat, wishing she were anywhere else at the moment. "This is so dumb..."

The rest of the fight between the hedgehog and the dragon faunus had been intense, now both Mercury and Yang are shown charging into each other.

Yang managed to land a hit on Mercury, which resulted in knocking off the two Chaos Emeralds Mercury had on his person.

"Oh no, the Chaos Emeralds…!" Mercury yelled.

Oscar's laughing ends when he sees this, quickly panic starts setting in, remembering what was at stake, "Oh no! Quick, grab the Emerald!"

Mercury makes a look, then grabs his partner's shoulder, "Got her."

Emerald looks irately at the silver haired mercenary, "Not me, you idiot!"

"Hey calm down I'm just making a joke," Mercury defends with his hands raised to cover himself.

Before either could move though, Watts suddenly appears in his Egg Mobile. He laughs mockingly at the scene in front of him.

"Ahhh! Eggman!" Yang yells in alarm.

With a push of a button, a shining cyan light emits from underneath the Egg Mobile, picking up both Chaos Emeralds.

Then to further humiliate his archenemies, Watts takes his two newly acquired Chaos Emeralds in his hands and holds them out in front of him.

"Ha... like taking candy from a baby!" Watts said.

"He's got another Chaos Emerald! Again!" Ruby shouts in alarm.

Yang with a grunt, stands up on her feet and runs closer toward Watts' Egg Mobile. It's here that she's able to see the two gems in his hands in better detail.

"That's a Chaos Emerald!" Yang gasped in surprise.

"That's right, fool, you made it all too easy! You practically gave them to me!" Watts reveals to the dragon, laughing in a gloating manner.

"Hold it right there, creep! You can't get away with this...!"

Mercury runs up to stand beside Yang in confronting the evil scientist. His gaze turned at Yang, staring in a disappointing way, "Yang, don't tell me Eggman tricked you again?"

"Well nice going Yang. You allowed Doctor Eggman to get another emerald," Weiss chides.

"Me!?" Yang angrily asks the former heiress.

"What did he mean by 'tricked you again'? Has this happened beforehand," Winter prompts her sister's blonde teammate in a disapproving tone.

"How would I know? I'm still learning about this world's version of me," Yang replies to the Specialist's inquiries.

"Me? What about you?" Yang said defensively.

"Way to go, Knucklehead!" Mercury groaned in mild annoyance.

"Yeah way to go, Blondie. Bringing the team down," Mercury drawls out sarcastically, laughing at Yang's expense.

"Oi! You're lucky the theater Is preventing me from pummeling your crippled ass into the floor," Yang shouts from her side of the auditorium, her eyes shifting from lilac into fiery crimson.

"Yang!" Ruby gasps in disbelief.

"It's fine sis, I have one arm! It's not offensive if I say it to him," Yang replies back to her sister, doing her best to not sound angry at Ruby but having difficulty in her agitated state.

"Now, I have 4 lovely Emeralds... Chaos…" Watts calls outs. As if it heard his call, a familiar puddle of water appears from the ground, which then forms into the being known as Chaos 2, still in its second form.

"These are for you, my friend…" Watts proclaims, tossing the two Emeralds towards Chaos 2.

With the newly acquired Chaos Emeralds being taken into its being, Chaos 2 emits a bright light, signifying another transformation was at hand.

The light dims, where the screen shows Chaos had once more transformed and this new form was even bigger than before. Now Chaos 4, it maintained a larger upper body build albeit its lower half was now altered in favor of a more shark-like build.

"Ah! He transformed again!" Oscar shouts.

"Man, no one ever cuts us any slack!" Mercury exclaims.

"That's an understatement, the good guys are having their asses handed to them almost every encounter," Coco growls agitatedly, crossing her arms in frustration.

"Perhaps they wouldn't fail so often if Sonic would stop holding himself back," Winter comments, bringing out a thought that's been on her mind.

Mercury blinks, then he looks angrily at the older white haired Atlas elite. "Care to explain what the hell you're talking about?" Mercury inquires.

Winter turns to face the young assassin, there she pulls out her scroll that shows a list of notes she had compiled throughout the viewings, "For starters, this world's version of you is exceptionally fast. Fast enough where he was able to hop across an array of missiles."

"Wait, how do you know about-?"

"My sister informed me," Winter answers in a factual tone.

Weiss shifts in her seat, doing her best to keep up appearances despite being outed by her own sister.

"In any case, in order to perform a feat like this you would have needed to maintain a speed of Mach 2. To support this claim, I interviewed Ruby to get her opinion on this," Winter explains her findings.

"Said it sounded just about right to me," Ruby chirps from her spot in the audience.

"So with all this in mind, don't you think it's questionable how easily Sonic is thwarted so often throughout this viewing?" Winter asks inquisitively, raising an eyebrow at the silver haired assassin.

Mercury remains still in his seat, not sure how to respond or retort the allegation that was made towards him. Simultaneously, though, he also questions what reason his other self could have to explain this string of hiccups.

The screen turns attention away from Mercury and his allies, and shows the audience a literal flying fortress coming to view in the sky above Mystic Ruins. In many close up shots, it's revealed that the ship was in fact Watts, as it brandishes the same insignia.

Watts took immense joy at the sight of his nemeses' bafflement of his latest technological marvel.

"Behold my floating masterpiece, the Egg Carrier! But it pales in comparison to the power of Chaos! Adieu… Until we meet again, my friends... Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!"

A bright cyan beam appears around Watts and his Egg Mobile, lifting him towards the Egg Carrier. Soon after, the fortress begins to fly off.

Winter stares gawkingly at the screen, her face pale when the sky fortress appears on screen. It was far bigger than any of the airships Atlas Military own.

"H-How did-How could he afford to make that!?"

"No way he made that! Watts' was never that smart!" Cinder shouts at the screen in retaliation.

"Who's Watts?" Penny asks her friends.

Winter sighs loudly, "A disgraced former Atlesian scientist, who's a genius in his own right. Not to this degree though."

"Look at the size of that thing! It's huge!" Jaune exclaims.

"Enormous,i t's honestly terrifying looking at it," Oscar mutters to himself.

Just like the previous day, Mercury and company could only watch on as both Watts and Chaos vanished from the scene victorious.

Oscar grits his teeth then turns to face Mercury, "Hey, we can't let him get away! Let's get to my workshop and we'll take the Tornado!"

Mercury grins at his friend's decisive thinking and nods, "Yeah!"

"You guys go! I have some unfinished business to take care of," Yang informs both fox and hedgehog faunus in a serious tone.

"No problem, Knuckles. We'll take care of everything here!" Mercury said, assuring the small dragon faunus that she could trust them.

Yang gives an affirming nod, which then prompts the dragon and the duo to go their separate ways.

"Come on, let's get going!" Oscar urged his longtime friend.

The scene concludes with both Mercury and Oscar heading to their next destination.

"Doesn't look good for Sonic and friends so far guys," Ruby comments solemnly.

"Maybe if Speedy over there wasn't holding back so much, they wouldn't be losing so much," Yang teases.

Mercury growls, getting up from his seat angrily, "I know you aren't talking–!"

"Mercury, was it?"

Mercury's anger sank, registering whose voice was speaking to him from behind. Turning his attention away from the fiery blonde, he looks to see that the Queen of the Grimm has her eyes set in him.

"Yeah?" He answers confusingly.

"Well, Mercury, I hope this will be a lesson to you and that you will learn from your counterpart's mistakes. Failure can be avoidable if we do not make foolish decisions that are ultimately foolhardy and prideful," Salem states as she chides the young assassin.

"…huh?" Mercury let out dumbly.

Salem frowns in a scolding expression, "Don't get cocky and make an ass of yourself. Otherwise I will be greatly disappointed in you, young man."

Salem turns and quickly returns, trying to keep up her regal and intimidating front to her followers. She wasn't aware of how much her rebuke of Mercury sounded not so different from a mother scolding her child; either that or she chose not to notice.

Mercury blinks, "Uh, sure… no problem. The hell was that?"

Ozpin could not help but listen to the exchange between his enemy and her follower, while she may try to hide it, he could clearly see something was different in the way she spoke to the boy. For a moment, he could have sworn he saw a bit of –he shakes his head– no, those times have long passed, there's no good to come from digging up the past. A lesson he's learned many times but sometimes forgets.

"Well, now we know Yang is in this world, I wonder who else we might see after this," Blake asks out loud.

"Oh! I hope we get to see another me somewhere! I bet I'm a supercool wolf huntress or a super spy," Ruby spills out in a fit of excitement at the possibility of seeing herself in Sonic's world.

"I wonder if any of us have a funny cry of terror like Yang did," Nora snickers.

"Nora!" Yang shouts.

Many of her friends, peers ,and uncle, started to laugh again at the reminder of what happened during the fight between the hedgehog and dragon.

"How did she sound? 'Oh. No!'" Jaune laughs as he tries to mimic the sound Yang the Dragon made.

"Nonono, it's like, 'OH NO!'" Ruby let out a guffaw at her own imitation.

"I HATE YOU ALL
