Chapter 2 goodbye
Cato's POV:
Me and Clove are taken by peacekeepers into the justice building, I look at Clove but she is staring down at her stomach for some reason. I know I'm going to need to kill her soon but I decided to leave her to the end after all we do know each other sense we wear little I'm more close to her sister, Amber but Clove and I are good friends or at least we were before I became popular and she became brutal. I geas people really do change.
My parents visit me first, they are both very proud of me for volunteering and tell me they love me and hope I win.
My friend nick comes in second "oh fuck" he says "you Cato Miller are going into the fucking hunger games, I'm pretty sure you won't have any problems with 22 tributes but Clove Kentwell... Cato that girl is brutal" he says "I'm not afraid of a 15 year old girl nick, but thanks for the warning" I say "alright man but be careful" he replies.
I have no other visitors.
Clove's POV:
My parents visit me first they both look shocked and they tell me that I am a horrible sister and that I have done something unforgivable and near the end they say they hope I die.
Amber comes in second. She doesn't say anything and just walks towards me with her hands open, I don't hesitate and fall into her arms. "I'm so sorry" she says when she sees the tears in my eyes "I'm fine" I reply "Clove I've risked your life, I'm the worst big sister ever" she looks like she's about to cry so I hug her "it's okay, I'm going to be back before you even realize I was gone" I tell her "you're going to fight against Cato Miller..." I look down to my stomach and place my head on my baby bump Cato would kill me if he would know it's his and we're both going into the arena... Amber realizes wear my hand is and looks at me with eyes filled with horror "no... no, Clove how could you??!! Cato Miller, you're knocked up from Cato Miller ???!!!!" I'm about to start crying and I can't even look her in the eyes "I'm sorry" I managed to say before peacekeepers come in "we will talk about this״ she says and walks out.
Third comes in Rosalie my best friend. She's not a person of hugs or tears. "What the fuck Clove?! I get that your in a hard saturation but are you trying to kill your self?!!" she almost shots at me "fuck you just... just keep the baby a secret!" I nod and she leaves.
Next comes in mrs. Miller (Catos mom) "why did you volunteer? You're risking your child's life" she says angrily "Clove honey, just tell me who the father is, if he is rich than we can make sure that you will get lost of gifts in the arena or maybe his family has friends in the capital..." I can't tell her, she probably just said goodbye to Cato, how could a nice woman like mrs. Miller have an asshool of a child like Cato ? "I can't" I reply "dose he at least the baby is his?" She asks "he doesn't even know I'm pregnant" I tell her she looks at me and just says "Okay, but be careful honey those games are brutal".
A/N: I might have ruined the character of Clove. so sorry if I did.
And also sorry for the very very short chapter. I publish every week but If the comments are good I'll publish sooner.
