Chapter 3 mentors

Cato's POV:

I walk into the dining room and find Clove sitting near the table "hi, how are you?" I ask her. She doesn't answer so I come closer to her "Clove?" I say "are you okay?" Before I managed to say anything else are mentors Brutus and Enobaria walk in and sit by the table.

I take a seat by Clove witch makes her stand up immediately and sit somewhere else. I look at her questionably but her eyes are fixed on are mentors witch totally ignore what had just happened "congratulations you are the tributes from district two" says Enobaria "so, what are your strengths and what are your weaknesses?" Asks Brutus "I'm good with a sword" I say "I'm the best with a knife" says Clove Brutus laughs "your fifteen, you haven't even finished training I wouldn't say that" says Brutus "I am the best" says Clove angrily she takes the knife that she eat with and throws it towards the wall "see the best" she says and gets up to get her knife.

As she sits down I look at her plate and see she has nothin on it "Clove your going to need to eat" I say to her. For a minute her eyes fill with fear but then she says "I already have a mother, Cato I don't need a nether one" that surprises me so I tell her "really because the last time I saw your mother caring about you was... never" Cloves eyes fill with tears. both of are mentors seem angry and tell us that we need to stop acting childish. "you know what, I think I'm done" says Clove "I could show you your room" says to her Enobaria "I'm fine" replies Clove "are you though?" Asks Enobaria "yes" says Clove "Clove trust me you don't want theme to hear what I have to say to you" Clove seemed stressed "okay" she said quietly "what the fuck is going on here?" Asks Brutus " Clove and I need to have a little girl talk" says Enobaria.

They walk out of the room and leave Brutus and me alone to finish eating.

After about 5 minutes we hear Clove screaming "JUST LEAVE ME ALONE"

A/N : sorry for the super short chapter. I know that some of you like Cato and I promise that there will be more chapters from his point of view but for now I want to focus on Clove.

I publish every 4 days but If the comments will be good I'll publish sooner
