A/N - I know, I know. I should be working on other stories, but this one just keeps calling to me! I'll try to work on something else later, but right now, this story is at the forefront of my mind. It's just so much fun to write!
Anyways, I'll warn you now, I've been feeling pretty crummy, so the chapter might not be the greatest. I think it turned out okay, but just a fair warning that it might not be all that great.
I also see that the majority of you readers would like Muru Muru to join the pairing, so I think I'll probably add her to the pairing later on down the road, once it's time for such a thing. It won't happen immediately.

Chapter 3 – Ami's Folly
Naruto stood before Deus Ex Machina once again, staring up at him with a deadpan expression. "Okay, seriously Deus-sama? What's with you and playing matchmaker? I mean, Minene-sensei is seven years older than I am! I don't understand her obsession with me! And then the other two…"
Deus sighed and reached down, patting Naruto atop the head. "Relax, young one. I simply chose those three for the reason that they will keep you safe and give you a reason to grow stronger. Having those precious to you nearby will only push you farther and make you stronger in the long run. Besides that, I needed them around to keep you safe from harm. There are particular circumstances surrounding you that you cannot deal with on your own. I chose only those with the potential to become the strongest to be with you. As for being with you in a romantic light, I only wanted you to be with those who are best suited to you. I figured you would be happy."
Blushing slightly, the young boy looked away and scratched at the tip of his nose. "Y-Yeah, I am. But what if I end up upsetting them or something? They can be kind of scary sometimes."
The large god simply chuckled softly and said, "I highly doubt they could remain angry or upset with you for very long. They're already rather fond of you, and they're fiercely protective of you as well. I would be more worried about those around you that might mean you harm in any sense of the word. Those three will punish any offenders most severely."
"That's true. Just gotta look at Sakura and the others and you can easily see just how vicious they can be to anyone that's even remotely mean to me." Naruto muttered. After a moment though, he looked up at Deus again and asked, "But what about Minene-sensei? How does she even know me? We only just met!"
"You really don't recognize her without her mask? Minene is one of the few Anbu that did their job properly. She oftentimes volunteered to look after you, and soon became infatuated with you, despite you being years younger than her. I warn you now though that she has an 'obsession' of sorts with explosives. She also rather enjoys the art of torture, even relishing in it at times if only for her own amusement."
Naruto thought back for a time as he tried to recall which Anbu Minene could have been. After a time though, he blinked in realization and said quietly to himself, "Anbu Fox. Wait…"
When Naruto looked up at him, Deus chuckled a bit and said, "She chose Fox because of you. At first she went with the Hyena mask, but after she became so fond of you, she chose to take up the Fox mask instead. Minene Uryuu is an interesting individual, and I can guarantee she'll be good for you. I've already things in motion for her to become your Jonin sensei. And thanks to Muru Muru, your teammates shall be Yuno Gasai and Tsubaki Kasugano. You will make for an excellent team and I am personally looking forward to hearing about your many exploits and heroic deeds in the future. Though I must warn you about something, young Naruto. Do not rely too heavily on the gift of Future Sight that I have given you. If you rely on it too heavily, you will become overly dependent on it and, should it fail you, you will have nothing to fall back on. So train hard and become strong enough that you can fight without such a thing. I will continue to offer you what aid I can throughout your life, but in the end, it comes down to how hard you work for your power."
The whiskered youth nodded determinedly and said, "No problem there. Kinda can't help it though when those visions flash before my eyes like that." Chuckling a bit, he rubbed the back of his head before smiling brightly at his friend. "Regardless, with yours and Muru-chan's help, I promise to become the most kickass shinobi EVER! Though, I do have a question for you Deus-sama."
Smiling down at his friend, Deus figured what he was going to ask and said, "Why have I taken such an interest in you? It's quite simple, my young friend. You possess a pure heart, despite the hell you've been through. You're a wonderful young man and I'm so proud of you. But, more than that, I'm looking for a potential replacement before my time is up. I cannot stay here forever, and Muru Muru will need the company after I'm gone. Naruto-kun, I have chosen you as my replacement, when that time comes. You will become a god in the most literal sense of the word. You will live for an eternity and more, and, should you so wish it, you can grant your lovers the gift of immortality so that you may never lose one another. Do you understand?"
Naruto was shocked, though that might be a bit of an understatement. Looking into Deus' eyes disbelievingly, he said, "But…I don't want you to go, Deus-sama! And…and why me? I don't understand!"
Deus sighed and shook his head sadly. "I have made my choice, Naruto-kun. I trust you, and only you, to fulfil my wish. Now, I think it's time to send you back. Take some time to think on what I have told you." He said before, with a wave of his hand, he sent Naruto back to his home in Konohagakure. I sincerely hope you come to understand in time, Naruto-kun…
2 years later
A ten year-old Naruto could be seen standing across from his opponent in today's spar. He truly hated this boy across from him, one Sasuke Uchiha. Despite what had been done to him two years ago by Anko-sensei, he was still the same arrogant little shit he had always been since the death of his clan. However, Sasuke had fallen far in the class rankings, while Naruto had only risen through the ranks. Naruto was now #2 in the class while Sasuke was now #6. The arrogant prick had decided to blame Naruto for his failures, in part due to the fact that the teachers actually liked the blonde and not him. Sure, they weren't playing favorites and made sure to treat everybody equally in their class, but in Sasuke's mind, Anko and Minene were practically spoiling the blonde asshole.
Kiba, on the other hand, was doing his best to remain as inconsequential as possible. His pride refused to allow him to refer to Naruto as Naruto-sama, but at the same time, he was scared to death of the teachers, so he simply remained quiet most of the time. He was still full of himself, there was no doubt about that, but he was playing things smart and simply left Naruto alone.
The fangirls had started to shape up nicely as a result of Anko and Minene's teachings. Most of them had snapped out of their 'I love Sasuke-kun! Let me have his babies!' phase and were now taking their academy days seriously in the hopes of one day becoming amazing kunoichi. However, a few of the diehard fangirls were still obsessed with Sasuke and remained loyal to him through it all. These included, but were not limited to: Sakura Haruno, Ino Yamanaka, and Ami. None of them were pleased with the fact that Naruto Uzumaki was outshining their darling Sasuke-kun. If they weren't so terrified of the purple-haired kunoichi, they would have done something about it!
Over the past two years, Naruto had improved by leaps and bounds thanks to all the training he was getting from Minene, Deus, and Muru Muru. His taijutsu had been corrected by Minene and he now had a nice style coming together, though it wasn't perfected just yet. Thankfully, he still had a number of years left in the academy and would have plenty of time to work on improving himself.
After a moment to think on all of this, Naruto's mind then drifted to the Hokage. How he hated the man. However, Hiruzen hadn't made any moves against Naruto in the past two years, most likely due to Muru Muru's influence. Naruto knew from experience training with her that she could be absolutely terrifying when she wanted to be. He just hoped that Hiruzen would cooperate and not try to place him on a team with somebody like Sasuke Uchiha!
Sighing softly, his thoughts then turned to Deus Ex Machina. He loved Deus like he would a father, perhaps even more than he would have loved his biological father. The thought that Deus would one day leave for whatever reason he felt he had to still bothered him. However, he had come to accept Deus' words and wishes and vowed that he would prove himself worthy of Deus and his title.
Returning his mind to the present, Naruto stared apathetically at Sasuke and released a bored sigh. Without looking at Anko, who would be the proctor for this spar, Naruto nodded his head and said, "I'm ready."
When the spar started, Naruto took his ready stance and watched as Sasuke did the same with his unique taijutsu style. For this particular spar, considering it was the first he'd had with Sasuke in over a year, Naruto promised himself that he wouldn't use his Future Sight ability. He wanted to claim this win was by his own abilities, rather than a cheat code of sorts.
Taking a deep breath, Naruto closed his eyes for a moment, smirking inwardly as Sasuke took the bait and charged towards him, thinking his guard was down. After a moment, he opened his eyes, slapped aside Sasuke's fist and proceeded to grab Sasuke by the hair before punching him three times in the face, breaking his opponent's nose.
Releasing his hold on his opponent, Naruto kicked him in the chest, sending him stumbling backwards. Not willing to let up on his opponent, Naruto charged in and threw a fist at Sasuke's face again, only for Sasuke to slip around to his side and aim a punch as his side, aiming for his ribs.
Quickly blocking Sasuke's fist with his left hand, Naruto spun and slammed his elbow into the side of Sasuke's face before extending his arm and forcing Sasuke to his knees for but a moment. Jumping up over Sasuke's attempted sweep kick, Naruto spun again and kicked his opponent hard in the side of the head, making him collapse to the ground and get a mouthful of dirt.
Sasuke snarled as he rose to his feet, wiping some blood from his lips before he turned to face Naruto with a scowl on his face. "I refuse to lose to you. I won't have it!"
The blonde quirked a brow before shrugging nonchalantly. "Looks to me like you don't really have a choice in the matter. You're getting your ass kicked and I haven't even been hit yet. If you don't think of something, you're going to lose this spar and prove to everyone just how weak you really are. Then again, I guess that's why Itachi let you live. You were just too pathetic to bother killing."
Naruto's words had the desired effect as Sasuke seethed. Before anyone could stop him, he flipped through hand seals and unleashed the largest fireball he could muster at Naruto. Eyes widening slightly, Naruto raised his hand and summoned some of the power Deus had bestowed upon him to shrink the fireball until it sailed harmlessly past his head.
Breathing a sigh of relief, Naruto was caught off guard when Sasuke appeared and slammed his fist into his face over and over again before Anko could end the spar. Angered by Sasuke's attempt on his life and the fact that he took advantage of his jutsu, Naruto reached up and grabbed Sasuke's fist when he went to strike him again. Putting pressure on it, increasing it ever so slightly as the seconds passed, Naruto forced Sasuke to his knees as the bones in Sasuke's hand began to creak and begin to break at the sheer force of Naruto's grip.
"You fucking asshole. You tried to kill me in a friendly spar. Well, I think it's time you got what was coming to you!" Naruto shouted before he began slamming his forehead into Sasuke's head over and over again until Sasuke looked to be on the verge of passing out. Not willing to let up on the asshole, Naruto gripped Sasuke's hair tightly and proceeded to ram Sasuke's face into his knee over and over again until finally he let the Uchiha fall to the ground, defeated and unconscious. Then, to add insult to injury, he spit on Sasuke's face and kicked him hard in the stomach, sending him rolling out of the ring. "Take that you lousy prick."
Minene, who had been watching the entire fight from beside Anko, walked up to Naruto and made him look up at her. Sighing at his bleeding nose, she proffered a handkerchief from a pocket on her Chunin flak jacket and proceeded to wipe the blood from his face. "Are you okay Naruto-kun? Don't worry, the prick will get what's coming to him. Anko-chan and I will take him to the Hokage and explain what happened. Sasuke can and will be punished for his actions here."
Naruto simply smiled up at her and shook his head. "It's fine. I should have seen it coming. Still, I sincerely hope that old bastard will ensure Sasuke gets what's coming to him. The asshole tried to kill me all because I insulted him. I didn't think even he was that unstable."
As Naruto and Minene talked, the various students of the class couldn't believe everything they had just witnessed. Sasuke had attempted to kill a fellow student in a friendly spar! More than that, Naruto had displayed some kind of unique power to save his own life, and then, on top of all of that, he had managed to win the spar with minimal damage done to himself! They didn't know what to think or how to feel. Yuno and Tsubaki, on the other hand? They were furious. They wanted to kill the Uchiha for what he had just done to their beloved! However, they knew that should they kill Sasuke, the council, in their esteemed 'wisdom', would make life even harder for their beloved. And to make matters worse, the Hokage would likely side with them and refuse to help Naruto in any way! So, reluctantly, they decided to wait to exact their vengeance upon the prick. This moment would not be forgotten, and they were definitely going to pay him back one day for what he had done here. Maybe on a mission outside of the village they could end him and make it look as if he died fighting an enemy? Shaking their heads, they decided they'd brainstorm ways to kill Sasuke later. For now, their Naru-kun needed them!
When Naruto took his place at their side, they began to fuss over him, gingerly touching his nose to check and see if it was broken. When he simply winced a bit, Yuno sighed and, as gently as she could, set his nose for him so it could heal up properly. "Are you going to be okay, sweetheart?" she asked, frowning sadly.
The whiskered youth nodded and said, "I'll be fine. It'll be healed up in no time thanks to you-know-what. For now, it seems like it's your turn Yuno-chan. Have fun."
Turning at hearing her name being called, Yuno sighed and stepped into the ring. Looking across at her opponent, she was pleased to see it was Ami that she was up against this time. Cracking her knuckles, Yuno giggled maniacally and said, "Oh, I've been looking forward to this. Even after all this time, you still don't seem to get it that Naruto-kun is off limits now. You still seem to think you can mistreat him. Well, I'd say it's time to teach you the lesson the hard way."
Ami shivered as she stared down her soon-to-be tormentor. After taking a moment to gather herself, however, she glared at Yuno and scoffed. "Not sure what you see in the loser. He's a monster, just like my parents told me. I mean, did you see what he did to Sasuke-kun?! And that strange power he used too! He's a damn freak of nature that deserves to be put down like the dog he is."
At hearing this, Kiba snarled angrily and gently pet his dog, Akamaru. The other students weren't too happy with Ami either, or rather, everyone besides the fangirls that 'love' Sasuke-kun.
Yuno scowled and said, "Just for that, I'm going to break you. I may not be allowed to kill you or remove limbs, but I can and will destroy you. You're going to apologize to Naru-kun and mean it by the time I'm done with you."
Scoffing again, the purple-haired bitch said, "Fat chance of that happening. Without your precious weapons, you're just a pathetic little bitch. I'm tired of your shit, Yuno. You're so full of yourself and you are fucking insane! After all you've done, I think it's time somebody puts you in your place. Now bow before me and swear to stop chasing after that loser and I may just let you off with a warning."
Yuno quirked a brow and chuckled to herself. "Oh yeah, I'm going to enjoy tearing you down, you pathetic wannabe. Anko-sensei, start the match. I want to kick this bitch's ass."
Anko sighed and said, "Please do. I'm tired of listening to her shit." Waving her hand to signal the start of the match, the teacher watched as Ami charged towards Yuno, only to drop to her knees suddenly and vomit the lunch she had eaten hours earlier. Quirking a brow, Anko looked at Yuno to see her smirking evilly at the purple-haired girl. That's some impressive killing intent for a kid. I'm impressed.
The pink-haired yandere grinned maliciously as she took slow, measured steps forward towards her opponent. "Too scared to stand up and face me? Then again, I suppose that's to be expected, coming from a worthless fangirl like you. Have you even trained seriously in your spare time? Or do you just try and make yourself look pretty for your precious 'Sasuke-kun'? Then again, it would take a SERIOUS makeover to make you look even remotely presentable. Do tell me something, did you inherit that ugly mug from your mother or your father? I'm curious."
Ami snarled as she slowly forced herself on her feet again. Wiping her mouth with the back of her sleeve, she spat out, "At least I'm better than you, ya ugly skank! I bet only Naruto could ever love a face like that!"
Quirking a brow, Yuno couldn't help but giggle a bit. "What's your point? If Naruto-kun loves me, then that's all that matters to me. I don't see how what you said could possibly be interpreted as an insult."
Yuno's opponent stared dumbfounded at her for a moment before chancing a glance at Naruto. Frowning, she looked back at Yuno, only to see her right in her face. Quickly backing away from the psychotic bitch (at least in her mind), Ami asked, "What the hell's so special about him anyways? You and Tsubaki seem to think he's this great guy for some reason. Why? Sasuke-kun is so much better!"
The pinkette sighed and shook her head in pity for the girl before her. "Tell me something Ami. Has Sasuke ever once treated you and the others kindly? Has he so much as said a word in greeting to you?"
Ami frowned and was about to immediately exclaim that yes, her beloved Sasuke-kun treated her nicely all the time, but when she really thought about it, she realized that no, Sasuke never treated her or the others kindly at all. He was always abrasive, rude, and a downright asshole to everybody. So then…why?
Yuno sighed again and said, "Naruto-kun is different from Sasuke. He treats everyone kindly and gives respect when it's due. He talks with us and he makes us laugh, makes us smile, and makes us feel special. We see in Naruto-kun what others refuse to see. I wouldn't trade him and his love for anything, especially not that loser Sasuke. Do you understand?"
Frowning further, Ami sighed and shook her head. "I see your point, but I'm not going to forsake my devotion to Sasuke-kun. He just needs…"
"Someone to heal his wounded heart. Yeah, I've heard that a million times already. It got old pretty fast. Listen, are you going to give up and walk out of this ring in one piece, or do you really want to push me and see what I can do to you? Because, as I said before, I will break you." Yuno said, scowling at the bitch that was her opponent.
Ami wanted to continue with the fight, but after what happened to her earlier, she decided to say fuck it and accept her loss. So, with a wave over her shoulder, she left the ring and went to sit down beside her friends.
Seeing this, Yuno shrugged her shoulders and, after being declared the winner, went to sit with Naruto and Tsubaki again. She had a nagging feeling though that Ami wasn't going to let this drop, however. Looking into Tsubaki's eye, Yuno could see that she felt it as well. Something bad was going to happen, but they couldn't figure out what it was. It was times like this that Yuno desperately wished her Future Sight ability was as powerful as Naruto's. Sure, she could see into his future, but it was limited in what it could do.
Sighing softly, Yuno proceeded to rest her head on Naruto's shoulder and closed her eyes, allowing herself to bask in his presence. I'll always protect you sweetheart. I promise.
That night
Naruto was worried. Ever since he defeated Sasuke, he had this horrible feeling that things were going to get REALLY bad, really soon. If it wasn't for the fact that he had to shop for groceries, despite the assholes trying to charge him exorbitant prices (which he dealt with by slamming the various owners' faces into the counter and the wall numerous times until they agreed to stop being dicks), he would've secluded himself in his home where it was safe.
Yuno, Tsubaki, and Minene would have been with him, but they wanted to go soak in the hot springs for a while. They said something about wanting to relieve the stress from the day, or rather the week.
As he walked the streets, heading towards home, Naruto came to the realization that something was very, VERY wrong. The streets would usually be full of people, especially since it was only around 8 PM. But as he looked around, he realized that there was nobody around. It looked and felt like a veritable ghost town. It only got this way when… "Shit." He said quietly as he realized what was happening.
Sure enough, when he turned the corner, he came face to face with a sizeable mob, each of them grinning maliciously at him as they brandished their weapons. "Why hello there brat. It's been a while." One of the men at the front of the mob said. "We heard what you did to Sasuke-kun today. You're getting too cocky for your own good."
Knowing what would happen if he tried to fight back against them, Naruto turned and began running away. What scared him about this particular mob was that there were seasoned shinobi amongst the group, making it that much harder to get to safety.
After some time, Naruto saw a girl his age up ahead. Getting closer, he could see that it was his classmate, Ami. Upon seeing him and the mob chasing him, the purple-haired girl waved to him and shouted, "This way Naruto! Hurry!"
Naruto frowned in confusion as he rushed towards her. She was being helpful, which was highly unusual for her. His Future Sight ability was showing him so many possible futures right now, showing him various directions he could take, which ones would end badly for him, but none of them showed him anything about what Ami's actions would cause. So, despite his better judgment, he followed Ami and ran with her for a while. After some time though…
Reaching a dead end, Naruto turned to glare at Ami, only to feel something strike him in the back of his head, disorienting him. It was at this point that he heard Ami's voice. She was shouting at the mob… "Hey, he's over here! Hurry up! This is the asshole hurt Sasuke-kun!"
Groaning as he tried to rise up again, Naruto found himself to be highly disoriented from the blow Ami had landed. Glancing at her, he saw that she had some type of blunt weapon in hand, but his vision was blurred and he couldn't quite make out what it was.
Before he could rise, he felt somebody kick him hard in the back, sending him face first back into the ground, getting a mouthful of dirt and blood as a result. Yuno-chan, Tsubaki-chan, Minene-chan…I'm sorry. He thought silently as the mob began to beat him.
After what felt like an eternity, Naruto sensed one of the kunoichi getting ready to plunge a sword, or at least what he assumed to be a sword, through his back. However, it was at this point that he heard screams and chuckled dryly to himself. Looks like they're here…thank Kami for that.
Sure enough, Yuno and the others were there, killing everyone that was a part of the mob without any shred of mercy. Naruto felt blood splash on his cheek and smiled cruelly. Kill that bitch. He thought as he allowed his eyes to close.
The girls, upon seeing Ami and realizing that she had tricked their beloved decided that it was time to destroy the bitch. However, Minene came to a sudden realization as she glared down at Ami. "You're the one that got them together…aren't you? You spread the news that Naruto-kun beat Sasuke in a spar, spinning the tale just right so they'd band together and do this. Didn't you, you lousy bitch?!"
Ami smirked sinisterly at them and folded her arms across her chest, staring at them fearlessly. "So what if I did? Nobody makes a fool of Sasuke-kun and gets away with it!"
Tsubaki took a step forward, glaring fiercely at the purple-haired girl. "Do you even care about what you've done? Naruto-kun's been through enough already without you making things even worse!" When Ami merely smirked further, the red-eyed girl shook her head in mild disbelief. "I see. Then I suppose we'll just have to make an example of you. Farewell Ami."
The purple-haired girl blinked in confusion for a moment. Opening her mouth to speak, she nearly screamed when her tongue was gripped painfully by Yuno Gasai. Before she could resist in any way, she began to cry when her tongue was cut off, causing her to gurgle and choke on her own blood. However, her tormentors were very far from finished.
Tsubaki, smirking a bit, stepped forward and touched a finger to Ami's arm, unleashing a bit of power and watched as Ami's arm started to rapidly decay. Seeing Ami crying, the young girl giggled devilishly and said, "Oh, don't worry Ami-chan, you've still got a long way to go before you're allowed to die. After all, we need to send a very special message to the village. It seems like we've been far too lenient with people like you. That changes now."
Ami whimpered pitifully as she thought to herself, They call this being lenient?! It hurts! It hurts so bad! Somebody! Anybody! Save me!
Minene smirked down at Ami and withdrew a kunai. "Hehehe, you're going to wish for the sweet release of death real soon. But no, it won't be granted to you just yet. Girls, hold her down."
Yuno and Tsubaki grinned sadistically as they forced Ami to her knees and pinned her in place. When Minene reached her and began to lick the blade of her kunai, the purple-haired girl could feel her body quivering in fear. She had no idea what Minene was about to do, but she had a strong feeling that she wasn't going to like it.
Looking down at the young girl, the violet-eyed woman proceeded to begin carving along the top of Ami's head until she had fully scalped the young girl, the skin and hair eventually falling to the ground. Seeing the state Ami was in, the girls couldn't help but giggle to themselves.
Slowly, little by little, they began to utterly break Ami. Tsubaki slowly began removing Ami's fingers and toes with a rather sharp kunai. One by one they were removed until all of Ami's digits were lying on the ground before them.
Yuno took out a senbon rather than he preferred weapon: the kunai. Slowly, little by little, she began to inch the needle-like weapon ever closer to Ami's left eye. She did this just to torture Ami mentally, making her squirm and, in her mind, beg for mercy. All the pink-eyed girl did was giggle as she slowly pressed the senbon against Ami's eye, smack dab in the middle of her pupil, before pushing it forward straight into the center of her eye.
As a result of this, Ami began to flail against them, tears streaming down her cheeks as she begged over and over again in her mind for somebody to make it stop. But no, her torture wouldn't stop. Blinded in her left eye, Ami tried to struggle against her enemies, but it proved to be a fruitless endeavor. No, instead, she was forced to watch as Yuno began to do the same with her remaining eye. However, just as with her left eye, Ami couldn't muster the strength to break free and lost her right eye as well.
Minene, meanwhile, ripped off Ami's clothes, leaving her bare naked and shivering from the cold, biting night wind. Slowly, she began to carve a message for the villagers of Konoha into Ami's body, using every spot on her body that she could. After all, they'd need to understand the message loud and clear, otherwise this could happen again.
Once she had finished, Minene admired her handiwork for a moment before she said, "Girls, stand back. I think it's time we get to the juicy bits."
When Yuno and Tsubaki stepped back, away from Ami, Minene flashed through hand seals before hitting the young girl with a lightning jutsu, causing her body to convulse and flop around on the ground.
Releasing the technique a few moments later, Minene kneeled down and used a bit of her medical knowledge to keep Ami from losing consciousness or even dying too quickly. Once she was sure Ami wouldn't pass away too quickly, she smirked and began to kick Ami violently in the face, stomach, chest, and pretty much anywhere else she could hit her. When she was finally done, Minene grinned sadistically as she went through more hand seals before she lit Ami on fire.
For a while, they just let Ami burn, suffering through the tremendous pain she was no doubt in. Once they were satisfied, Yuno used a water jutsu to put out the flames and smirked when she saw just how burned Ami's body was. Their message was still loud and clear, carved into her body in such a way that it wouldn't vanish so easily. However, that didn't mean Ami was out of the woods just yet. No, they still had soooo much more in store for her before they ended her life. All-in-all, it was a VERY bad day to be Ami.
The Next Day
An ear-piercing scream could be heard throughout the entirety of the village of Konohagakure. Naturally, this scream woke up everyone who had still been asleep that morning, but that was not important in this moment.
After his lovely girls finished butchering Ami, they tended to him, helping Naruto's natural healing factor along. While yes, his healing factor would have eventually done the job of getting him back into perfect health, they didn't want to wait too long for him to recover. They didn't like seeing him in pain, after all.
They knew taking Naruto to the hospital was out of the question, as they would prefer to see Naruto suffer and die, rather than to treat him as per their Hippocratic Oath dictates. Fucking assholes. So, they instead took him home and allowed him to rest after they had finished tending to him. This was one of the reasons they had each started the study of medical jutsus and continued to put it into practice so they could keep each other safe and healthy.
Now, Naruto and his girls groaned as they stirred awake. They had each decided to cuddle with him throughout the night, refusing to leave his side. When he opened his eyes to see his three beauties together with him, the blonde smiled and gave the three of them a kiss on the lips, to show his affection for them.
Exchanging good mornings, the girls couldn't help but giggle to themselves. "It seems they've found our 'surprise'." Minene said with a wicked grin on her face.
Naruto quirked a brow momentarily before he chuckled a bit. "You made them pay for what they did, right?" His girls simply beamed at him and he chuckled more. "Good."
Yuno hugged him tight before saying, "Not just the mob, but Ami and her parents too. I'm not sure if you heard her confession, but Ami was the one to rally that mob together. She was upset because you hurt 'Sasuke-kun'."
The whiskered blonde sighed and shook his head in disappointment. "Shame. If she had simply pulled her head out of her ass, she could've been a competent kunoichi, especially under Anko-chan's and Minene-chan's guidance."
Minene smirked at Naruto and asked, "When exactly did you get her permission to call her 'Anko-chan'? You've been calling her that for a while now outside of class."
Naruto simply shrugged and said, "When she decided to treat me to dango one day. She insisted that I start calling her Anko-chan rather than Anko-sensei. She's been rather…flirtatious, too."
Before Yuno or Tsubaki could say or do anything in response to this, Minene chuckled and said, "That's just how she is with people she likes. Also, I may have let it slip that you're my future husband. She's curious about you, because she and I were kiiiind of dating for a while, before I took an interest in you. We're still best friends, of course, and I think she's interested in being with you too, if we'll let her. She's dear to me, but if you three don't want to accept her into our home, that's fine too. I'm sure she'll understand. Hopefully."
The blonde could only sigh and shake his head in mild disbelief. "I won't object to it, especially if she's special to you. I'm more concerned about how these two will feel about it." He said, motioning towards Yuno and Tsubaki.
Yuno and Tsubaki were scowling at the idea of another woman getting with their beloved. However, at the same time, they didn't want to deny Minene the opportunity to reunite, sort of, with her girlfriend. "Anko-sensei is kind of cool…" Yuno muttered absentmindedly. With a sigh, she closed her eyes and really thought about it for a good, long while.
After a time, Yuno opened her eyes again and looked intently into Minene's eyes. "If she joins us, she needs to meet with Deus-sama and receive his gifts. If she doesn't, then I can't accept her into our lives. Agreed?"
Minene smirked at this and looked at Tsubaki. "It's on you now Tsu-chan. I had already planned to introduce her to Deus-sama and Muru-chan. Anko-chan is like us: an outcast, lonely. She puts up a tough exterior, but she's gone through much of the same kind of shit we've had to deal with growing up here. Plus, it'd be nice to help her get revenge against that snake pedo, and Deus-sama can help give her that chance. So whaddya say?"
Tsubaki sighed and closed her eyes. "Fine. But she needs to follow the rules. We share him only amongst each other. We protect each other, especially Naru-kun, with a fierce determination. Even if that means killing fellow citizens of Konoha. If she can't agree to that, then there is no place for her here with us."
Naruto and the other girls nodded in agreement with that sentiment. "I think she'll come around once Deus-sama frees her from that curse seal Orochimaru gave her. The Hokage and Jiraiya of the Sannin have fooled her long enough, claiming they'll look into a way to remove her curse seal for her. Problem is, they aren't doing a damn thing about it. Jiraiya's a seal master, far more skilled than Orochimaru, and yet he claims he can't remove it yet. All he has to do is study it a bit and then he can remove the damn thing with a little bit of research and careful planning. No, they're using that promise to keep her loyal to the village and, more importantly, to Hiruzen. Once Deus-sama opens her eyes, she'll be more than willing to kill the Hokage if she ever needs to." Minene explained, a scowl on her face. "Rotten old bastards."
Hearing this caused the other three to scowl as well. Without a word spoken between them, Naruto, Yuno, and Tsubaki each came to an agreement in that moment. "Take her to see Deus-sama, and then explain to her what being with me entails. The three of us will go check out the crowd and gauge their responses to the message you girls left for them. It'd be suspicious if none of us showed up to see what all the fuss is about. Now, I'm going to get a shower. You girls should go to your rooms and shower as well, we've got caked blood all over us. Going to have to wash the sheets and blankets as well, now that I think about it." Naruto said with a sigh following afterwards. They had so much to do today…
Hours later – Deus' Realm
Anko blinked a couple of times as she looked up, way up, at the being known as Deus Ex Machina. When her former girlfriend (despite her wishes otherwise) told her that she would be bringing her to meet someone important, this is NOT what she expected dammit!
Deus simply smiled down at her and said, "Welcome to my domain, Anko Mitarashi. I've watched you on occasion, simply out of curiosity. Before we speak, I want you to watch something, a meeting between one Hiruzen Sarutobi and Jiraiya of the Sannin. You will understand why you have been brought before me after seeing it, I assure you." And with that, Deus waved his hand, making a large screen appear before them with a video playing.
The Snake Mistress of Konoha watched and listened in horror as the Hokage and Jiraiya spoke at length about Anko and her curse mark. How they had decided to hold the promise of a 'cure', of sorts, over her head and use her and her services until she no longer had a purpose. In which case, they would dispose of her like the 'trash she is'. As she watched this, Anko's fists clenched tighter and tighter until she drew blood from the palms of her hands. She made no indication that she felt it however.
When it was finally over, Minene, easily noticing what Anko had done to herself, gently grasped her ex-girlfriend's hands in hers and proceeded to use her powers to heal her. "I'm sorry you had to see that, sweetheart. But we needed you to know. This way, when we accept you as our fellow sister wife, you won't hesitate to punish those that act out against us, and especially Naruto-kun. If we have to, we'll even kill the Hokage someday. Jiraiya as well. You can't hesitate when it comes to our family. Do you understand?"
Before Anko could say anything in reply, Deus spoke up, catching her attention. "I did not show you this to harm you, Anko Mitarashi. I showed you what I did because you deserved to know the truth. And because I have an offer to make you."
Anko looked up at Deus and thought over what she should, and more importantly wanted to say to him. "What kind of offer would that be? I'm willing to listen. After all, you just opened my eyes in a BIG way."
"Very good." Deus said with a smile stretching across his face. "I have the power to remove your curse mark. In exchange, I only ask that you be there for Naruto-kun. He will need someone of your skill to watch after him. In fact, I'm even willing to bestow upon you some of my power, and the gift of Future Sight as well. All you need to do is become part of their family. Do we have a deal?"
The Snake Mistress blinked a couple of times before asking, "That's it? That's seriously all I have to do to get rid of this damn seal? Fuck yeah I'll accept the deal! Hell, I'd give the kid my damn virginity if that's what you asked of me! Please Deus-sama, get rid of this thing and I'll serve Naruto-kun until we're both old and grey and then some!"
Chuckling to himself, Deus looked at Minene and asked, "I thought you told her everything?"
Minene sweatdropped and rubbed the back of her head. "Yeaaaah, I thought so too. I think in her excitement, it kinda slipped her mind."
Anko blinked a couple of times before asking, "Huh? What am I missing here?"
Muru Muru, who had remained silent this entire time, simply giggled, getting her attention. "Naru-kun's gonna be immortal. He's going to give that gift to the girlies too. So you won't be growing old and grey, as you put it. Nope, you're gonna be happy dappy with Naru-kun and the girls for as long as you want to be."
Nodding her head slowly, Anko said, "Uh-huh. That could be pretty neat." After a moment longer, she looked up at Deus and said, "I'm ready. Just get rid of this damn thing and I'll do whatever you want. If that means moving in with Naruto-kun, joining the family, and eventually fucking his brains out, then I'm all for it!"
Chuckling again, the mighty god pressed his finger against Anko's curse mark and, without a word of warning, purged her of the tainted mark upon her skin. But more than that, he decided to use his power to spread out from Anko's curse mark, attacking every other curse mark Orochimaru had given to people. When he was finished, there were no curse marks left on anyone, anywhere. True, Orochimaru could probably give the curse marks again, but without knowing what happened, he'd hesitate to do so, knowing that the same thing could happen yet again.
Anko relished in the feeling of being free after all this time. Slowly, she fell to her knees and began to cry, unable to contain herself. Giving her a moment to herself, Deus waited for a few more minutes before he touched the top of her head and said, "And now, my gift to you." The next thing Anko knew was pain as Deus gave her some of his power, as well as her unique version of the Future Sight ability.
Once everything had calmed down, the god looked her in the eyes and decided to begin his explanation of what her new powers, especially her Future Sight, entailed. As he did, Anko couldn't help but grin wickedly. Just you wait assholes, Anko-chan's gonna make all of you suffer for what you've done…
A/N - And that's the chapter! As you can see, a lot happened, not the least of which is Anko joining the pairing and being given the gift of Future Sight as well! And, to make things even more interesting, I had Deus purge all of the curse marks throughout the Elemental Nations. No more of that shit for a while!
Anywho, not sure what I'll work on next. I might just write another chapter for this, depending on where my muse takes me. I've just had so much fun writing this story so far. It's kind of an addiction at this point. XD
Regardless, I do hope you're looking forward to whatever I work on next. I know I need to update a lot of different stories, but I can only do so much, especially when my dang muse only wants to focus on one or two stories in particular. x.x;;
