Chapter 5 – Cheating is Awesome! Holy crap, She can Tame SNAKES?!
As Naruto looked over his test, the young blonde began thinking over the rules. It was obvious that they were supposed to cheat, despite what Ibiki Morino had said. As the blonde thought about how he could cheat and who he could cheat off of, he sneakily took a quick glance around the room.
Hinata Hyuga was currently sitting on his right. She would occasionally sneak glances his way, a wounded expression on her face whenever she did. Smiling apologetically at the white-eyed girl, understanding exactly why she looked to heartbroken, the whiskered blonde gently patted her hand and resumed glancing about the room.
It didn't take long for Naruto to recognize that a bunch of disguised chunin were hidden amongst the genin. They were obvious plants meant for people to cheat off of, but the question quickly became just how to cheat off of them!
Glancing down at his test, the whiskered young man closed his eyes and began thinking about all of his abilities. Come on Naruki, there has to be something you can use. If you can't think of anything, maybe you can pull a kind of switch-a-roo? Hmm…
Smirking to himself, Naruto rubbed his hands together and began to giggle to himself. When numerous others turned their gazes on him, the blonde looked around and stood up real quickly, a large grin spreading across his face. "Hi hiiiiii! How's everybody doin'?!"
Raising his hands to wave around at everyone, everyone watched as a bunch of small balls flew from the blonde young man's sleeves. As their eyes widened and Naruki blinked a couple of times, all they heard before the small explosives went off was, "Oops."
In an instant the room was filled with smoke. Everyone was coughing and choking on the thick smoke. In the confusion, a disguised Kage Bunshin snatched a completed test and swapped Naruto's blank test out in exchange.
It didn't take long for the chunin to throw open the windows. Once the smoke had finally left the room, everyone took a few more moments to finish coughing before shooting a glare towards the young blonde that had caused the problem in the first place.
Naruto had tears in his eyes as he fell back into his chair, still coughing. Ibiki looked the blonde's way and narrowed his eyes. Clever. Real clever. You used your unpredictable nature to your advantage and 'accidentally' filled the room with smoke so you could snatch another person's test. Because you're so strange, nobody suspected it. Good job boy. He thought to himself, a small smirk playing at his lips as he nodded in appreciation of the young man's quick thinking.
Later – Time for the Last Question to be Announced
Naruto had waited patiently as he watched the others in the room cheat in various ways. While many were caught and caused their team to fail the test, a lot had actually come up with some pretty clever ways to pass.
The blonde had watched Lee for a time and couldn't help but notice as his teammate adjusted one of the mirrors just enough so he could copy the answers off of her test paper. The other one Naruto had paid attention to was Gaara, his fellow Jinchuriki. That weird eye thing was kinda cool, but also kind of creepy at the same time.
Shrugging his shoulders, the blonde Jinchuriki released a sigh and waited through the last ten minutes for the proctor to announce that it was time for the last question. When he began to hum a random tune, many in the room turned a glare on Naruto once again. Throughout the test, all the blonde had done was drive them insane and make them hate him, and now he was doing it again!
It wasn't his fault that he was bored! Well…maybe it was, but he didn't see it that way. After all, Naruto Uzumaki had stolen somebody's test really early on, so he had absolutely nothing to do but watch other people cheat. After so long of that and learning what some of them were capable of, the blonde had absolutely NOTHING to do!
When the time finally came when Ibiki announced that they needed to put their pencils down and that it was time for the final question to be announced, everyone was relieved! Naruto wouldn't have to be bored anymore, and everyone else wouldn't have to put up with the annoying blonde! So, as far as everyone was concerned, it was a win-win situation. How could they possibly lose now?!
Needless to say, they thought this too soon. As soon as the proctor explained the new rules for the tenth question, a lot of them began to panic and leave. Then, the blonde annoyance stood up and grinned. "Heeeey, I get it! I know what the purpose of this…"
Before Naruto could say anymore, the proctor appeared at his side and slapped a hand over the boy's mouth. Leaning in close, the scarred man whispered harshly. "Shut the hell up! Just…shut up, please?"
Blinking in confusion, the blonde Uzumaki nodded slowly and glanced up into Ibiki Morino's eyes as soon as he released him. "It's fine that you figured out the purpose to the question, but if they can't muster up the courage to see this through, do you really think they deserve to be here?"
Nodding his head, Naruto folded his arms across his chest and smiled before whispering back to the proctor. "I see your point. Okey dokey then, I'll remain quiet. But if one of my friends looks like they're about to give up, can I at least say something to encourage them a bit?"
The torture and interrogation specialist sighed and nodded slowly. "I suppose that would be alright, but it looks like nobody else is leaving. It would seem they became a bit too focused on this interaction between the two of us. I'm starting to regret my decision to shut you up."
Chuckling to himself and grinning at the scarred proctor, the blonde young man threw his arms behind his head. "Sooo, you'd better remember your promise Mister Funny Dude. Do what you need to do and say what you need to say, but then you have to give me a hug and say we're buddies now!"
Facepalming, Ibiki Morino walked to the front of the room and looked around at all those that remained. I regret ever deciding to do this. Please don't ever let this kid find me after today! Kami-sama, if you have any mercy for somebody like me, please grant me that one favor!
The genin in the room couldn't help but notice just how defeated the proctor of the first exam looked. They couldn't help but feel pity for the man, but some chose to chuckle in amusement at his misfortune. When he glared at the laughing genin, they immediately stopped and apologized, feeling kind of scared of the scarred man.
"Ugh. Okay, those of you that decided to stay and hear the final question…" Glancing around at everyone, Ibiki smiled. "You all pass!"
When somebody went to shout out, Naruto shot up and jumped forward, glomping Ibiki to the ground and nuzzling him. "Hiiiii new buddy-buddy friendly friend! It's awesome to make another new friend! What's next-next?!"
The person that was about to shout out quietly sat back down, not even bothering to ask her question. Instead, everyone in the room sweat dropped as they watched the insane blonde and Ibiki stand again.
Grumbling, the proctor reached down and patted Naruto on his head. "Okay. You got your hug and I agreed to be your friend. Happy?" Seeing the blonde nod excitedly, Ibiki sighed and smiled just a bit. "Good. Now…"
Glancing around at everybody in the room, the proctor slowly took off his bandana and began to explain the purpose of the test and the final question. When he had finally finished with his explanation, Naruto grinned up at him. "I knew it! You just didn't want me saying anything you big meanie."
Ibiki facepalmed again and went to retort when something came in through the open window, landing in front of the two 'friends'. In an instant, a banner sprung up in front of them that obviously said something, but the blonde couldn't see what it was from his place behind the banner. So, when the two creeped around to the front of the banner, they saw an odd woman speaking to the genin.
The first proctor sighed as he walked to the woman's side. "You're early Anko. Besides that, you're lucky the window was open or you'd be paying for the broken glass."
The woman, Anko, looked to Ibiki curiously for a moment before she looked around at the various teams in the room. "Have you lost your touch or something Ibiki? Why are there still so many teams left?"
The scarred T&I specialist sighed and motioned for the purple-haired woman to turn around. When she did, Anko Mitarashi found herself looking down into the eyes of a grinning blonde. "Hiya! How are you Pretty Lady?!"
Anko blinked a couple of times before turning back to Ibiki and pointing behind her at the young man. "What is this?"
Ibiki smirked at that and shook his head. "That is your problem now. That crazy little bastard has been driving everybody insane. He's also the main reason so many teams are left. So you'd best watch out for this one Anko. Have fun."
As Ibiki chuckled darkly and began walking around collecting the tests, Anko looked back at the boy with a sigh. "What's your name kid?"
Naruto looked up at the woman curiously for a moment before tilting his head. "So you're Anko? Hmm…just to be sure, is your full name Anko Mitarashi?" Seeing the woman nod, brow rising in curiosity at how the kid could know her name, the whiskered blonde grinned broadly. "I'm Naruto Uzumaki! Yugao-onee-chan has told me a lot about you! She said we'd be really good friends if we got to meet each other."
The purple-haired woman's eyes widened in recognition and she pulled the boy into a hug. "It's about time I got to meet you, ya little runt. Yugao-chan talks about you a lot. She said you'd be participating in the Exams this time. It's good to finally meet you!"
When the two of them felt dozens of pairs of eyes on them, both the blonde and his companion turned to see the shocked expressions on every face in the room. "Oh…umm…yeah." Composing herself, Anko stood up straight and coughed into her hand before speaking. "Alright, the next stage of the exam is held at Training Ground #44. Meet me at the entrance in half an hour. Or not, but if you choose not to show up, you automatically fail. Good luck!"
With a grin, the Snake Mistress looked down at her new friend and scooped him up in her arms. "You and I are going to have a little chat. I want to get to know Yugao-chan's little brother better!" And with that, Anko leaped out of the window with the blonde in her arms.
Nobody was sure what to make of what had just transpired in the room. Soon enough, Ino turned to look around at her teammates and the members of Teams 7 and 8. "Did that woman just kidnap Naruto?"
Entrance to the Forest of Death
Anko currently sat with Naruto in the tent waiting at the entrance to Training Ground #44. Oddly enough, the two of them were sipping tea and seemed to be quite comfortable as they waited for the others to arrive. After a few minutes of just relaxing, Anko finally decided to try and strike up a conversation with the young male. "Sooo, why don't you tell me about yourself? I've heard things from Yugao-chan, but I want to get to know you a bit better."
Naruto smiled brightly before he pointed at Anko's chest. "In a bit. First, can you tell me how you got your breasts so big?"
The second proctor's eyes went wide and she narrowed her eyes, glaring daggers at the boy. "Hey, is that any way to talk to a woman? If you want to hit on a girl, there's better ways to do it than bring up their breasts."
At this, the young blonde blinked a few times and tilted his head. "Wait…Yugao-onee-chan hasn't told you? I guess that makes sense, nobody's supposed to know after all." Leaning in close, the whiskered blonde whispered quietly to his new friend. "I'm not really a guy. I'm a girl like you."
Anko blinked a couple more times and had a look that proved she really didn't understand what the hell was going on. As she went to say something, the blonde spoke again. "Can you ask the others to leave the tent and watch for the other genin, please?"
The purple-haired woman nodded slowly and looked around at the others. "Please leave and wait outside for the genin. Inform me once it is time to speak to them. In the meantime, nobody is allowed to look into this tent. Is this understood?" Seeing them nod, a fearful look in their eyes, Anko grinned and shooed them away.
After they left and the flaps to the tent were closed, Naruto reached behind his neck and unclasped something Anko couldn't see. In an instant, 'Naruto' was gone and in his place now stood a beautiful young woman. The bright orange jumpsuit was gone. Instead, this young lass wore a red shirt with the Uzumaki clan logo in black on the front. She wore a light purple vest over her shirt and had her long hair in a single ponytail. The whiskered blonde was also wearing black pants with orange stripes down the legs that happened to accent her butt quite nicely. All-in-all, this young woman looked quite striking.
As Anko took this young woman in, she couldn't help but grin. "Well I'll be damned. You were telling the truth. I don't see why you want to know how I got my breasts this big. Yours look like they're coming in quite nicely. If I had to take a guess, I'd say they're a B-cup maybe?"
Naruki walked over and sat down beside Anko, setting her tea down on the table before her. "Actually, they're already a C-cup. I'm wearing a training bra, so they just, y'know…look a little smaller. Yugao says I'm developing pretty quickly, but onee-chan said it's not unusual. From what she tells me, some girls grow pretty quickly."
The Snake Mistress watched Naruki shrug her shoulders before she began gently running her fingers through the younger girl's hair. "She's right. I think some of your friends are developing pretty slowly, while others are going at a more, hrm…let's just call it a 'regular' pace. Everybody is different, and there's nothing to be ashamed of if you happen to be growing faster in a certain place than others your age are."
Naruki nodded slowly at that before releasing a soft sigh. "Before we continue, I figured you should know that 'Naruto' isn't my real name. I'm Naruki Uzumaki. It's a great pleasure to finally meet you Anko-chan."
Anko smiled softly at her friend's imouto (little sister). "You already know this, but I'm Anko Mitarashi. It really is a pleasure to meet you Naruki-chan. I didn't think you'd be quite so cute. And you really have very nice hair. You take really good care of yourself, don't you? "
Naruki nodded and smiled as she let Anko continue to run her fingers through her hair. "Mmm, that feels nice." Closing her eyes, the whiskered blonde leaned into Anko's touch and continued to speak. "I try to. Yugao-onee-chan and Jiji made sure I kept myself healthy, and as a girl I just refuse to live like a slob."
Anko nodded her head in understanding before she gained a devious glint in her eyes. Sneaking a hand up, she gave one of Naruki's breasts a gentle squeeze and giggled to herself when the blonde jumped and squealed in surprise. "Mmm, they're firm, but I can't get a good feel for 'em through your clothes."
The young Uzumaki girl went a bright shade of red and quickly decided to get to the bottom of just what Anko was trying to do. "W-W-What are you doing Anko-chan? We should save something like that for after our first date." Winking to the older woman, Naruki chuckled to herself softly before taking her teacup into her hands and taking another sip.
Anko began grinning at that and threw an arm around Naruki's shoulder. "I like you kid. You've got good taste." As the two laughed together, Naruki snuck a hand around and gave the proctor's butt a squeeze. "H-Hey!"
Giggling even more, the whiskered girl looked into Anko's eyes and began gently stroking her cheek. "Mmm, you do have a firm ass. I thought you might." With a smirk, the blonde leaned in and captured Anko's lips with her own.
The kiss lasted for a good few minutes before they pulled away from each other, the two of them blushing furiously from the moment they just shared. "Soft lips too. Wait…" Naruki blinked a couple of times before a thought came to mind.
Rising from her chair, the young blonde pulled off her top and showed her new friend the bra she was wearing. "Do you think you could give me some advice? This thing feels a little small and it kind of hurts sometimes. My breasts feel really cramped inside of this thing and I'm not sure what else to try. You have no idea how awkward it is trying to find a decent bra for myself when I have to walk around town disguised as a guy."
Anko quirked a brow and rose from her chair as well. Walking around the girl before her, taking in her appearance, the Snake Mistress grinned. "Okay, take it off. I want to see them." Naruki blushed furiously at this, but nodded her head and did what she was told. It appeared the blonde had been honest with the Snake Mistress of Konoha, as the bra really had been too small.
Reaching up a hand, the proctor for the second stage of the exams gently began examining Naruki's breasts, grinning as she caused the young lass to moan a few times at her touch. Taking a step back, Anko pulled off her overcoat and laid it neatly on her chair. "Take a look at what I'm wearing real quick Naruki. Tell me what you notice."
Blushing to herself as she looked Anko over, Naruki soon realized something. "Well, you're not wearing a bra, but you're wearing some type of fishnet clothing of some sort. It's…kinky."
Smirking at that, Anko walked closer to her companion and brushed a finger up, under Naruki's chin and eventually brushing it over her lips just to tease the young woman for a moment. "I'm glad you think so Na-ru-ki." Leaning in close, the proctor just barely brushed her lips over Naruki's before leaning back and smirking at the girl.
The blonde had closed her eyes in anticipation of the kiss, but was now pouting. "Hey, that wasn't very nice. If you're going to kiss somebody, you should do it properly." Grinning to herself, the blonde walked up to Anko and pushed her down into her chair before straddling her lap and capturing her lips in another fiery kiss that lasted for a good while.
As their kiss intensified, they began to fondle one another's breasts. It started off in a playful manner at first, but soon they began to lose themselves and began to moan as they played with one another. When they finally realized what it was they were doing, the two of them both opened their eyes in shock and separated, although Naruki still sat on Anko's lap.
"W-What just happened? Weren't we talking about something before…this?" Naruki asked, her mind in an obvious haze as she looked into Anko's eyes. After a brief couple of seconds, her eyes returned to Anko's lips and she began tracing them with her right index finger.
Anko was just as red as Naruki was, but she wasn't complaining about this situation in the least bit! Smirking to herself, the Snake Mistress sucked on Naruki's finger for a few seconds before she began kissing up Naruki's arm. When she finally reached the girl's neck, she began rubbing her left breast again and began nibbling on the young blonde's neck. "Mmm, you really do have a nice body Naruki-chan. I like it."
The whiskered Uzumaki closed her eyes and threw back her head as she began to moan again. Outside the tent, the assistants were sweat dropping as they looked at one another. "Umm…should we do something about this? There's still ten minutes to go and they're starting to attract attention from some of the teams…"
The other assistant shook her head and glanced back at the tent. "I don't think I even want to know what's going on in there right now. Besides, do you want to piss Anko off?" Seeing her colleague shake his head in the negative, the female assistant nodded. "Me either. I say we pretend this never happened and only bother her when it's time. Agreed?"
"Agreed." The male assistant quickly agreed, although he was currently having a bit of a problem. The moans coming from inside the tent were incredibly arousing and he was having a difficult time keeping everything under control. The images that were being painted in his mind really were not helping!
Back inside the tent, Anko pulled her mouth away from one of Naruki's nipples and smirked up at her young friend. "I believe we were talking about anything I could recommend to you regarding a bra or some such thing." As Naruki panted, trying to catch her breath, she nodded slowly. "Until you can wander around as your true gender, I suggest you look into getting something like what I'm wearing. It may be somewhat revealing…okay, very revealing, but at least it's comfortable. Actually, I can go get one for you real quick before it's time to address the genin. Sound good?"
Naruki nodded again and took her seat again. She was sweating after the 'workout' they just had together. Even if they hadn't really done anything more than just fondle one another and kiss, it was intense and she was having a hard time rebooting her brain. The blonde watched as Anko disappeared in a shunshin before she began giggling to herself. Oh Haku-kun, I think I've found us a new 'playmate'. A three-way relationship, this could be niiiice.
It didn't take more than a few minutes for Anko to return with a mesh body suit for Naruki. It wouldn't cover the entire body, instead it was quite similar to the one Anko was currently wearing; only this one was smaller. "Got it! Though I wish I had taken my coat, my goods were out for everyone to see. I guess I was kind of distracted." Laughing to herself, the Snake Mistress rubbed the back of her head and smiled sheepishly.
Looking the suit over, Naruki smiled and thanked the woman before she stripped down to her panties and slipped the suit on, much to Anko's appreciation. Before she could put the rest of her clothes back on, excluding the bra of course, Anko walked around behind Naruki and wrapped her arms around the young blonde's midsection, pulling her back against her. "I must say, you do look good Naruki-chan. I wonder if Yugao-chan would have a fit if you and I decided to be a little something…more than just friends, hmm."
Blushing fiercely, clearly not used to another person having this much control over her, Naruki began trying to stammer out a response. "I-I-I…maybe…? Umm…" Taking a deep breath to calm herself, the odd young blonde forced down her blush and smirked as she reached back and put a hand on the back of Anko's neck. Leaning back into her rather 'intimate' friend, Naruki pulled the woman's head down for another kiss. Only this time, she just lightly brushed Anko's lips and winked up at her. "Tell you what Darling; meet me again later after I get through this stage of the exam so we can talk? I have a boyfriend, and I really want to bring you into this relationship. Just imagine the kind of 'fun' we could have Anko-chan."
The older woman actually blushed pretty badly at this and released Naruki, allowing her to finish getting dressed. Damn. Yugao, you have no idea how right you were. I think your imouto and I are going to have a very good relationship. Taking a deep breath, Anko walked to her chair, threw on her overcoat, and smirked as she glanced Naruki's way. "That sounds like a fantastic idea Naruki-chan. I can't wait."
Giggling to herself, Anko sauntered over to Naruki and lifted her up before sitting her on the table and leaning in close. "Yugao-chan's going to be so pissed with the both of us for this, but damn if I don't already like you kid." And with that, the Snake Mistress kissed Naruki rather passionately once more before sliding a hand into Naruki's pants and rubbing her slit just once. As the girl opened her mouth to yelp, the Snake Mistress slid her tongue into Naruki's mouth and they both soon lost themselves to the kiss.
Eventually however, the female assistant pulled the tent flap back just enough so she could speak to the both of them without peeking her head into the tent. "U-Umm…A-Anko-san? It's t-t-time. Could you two please stop whatever it is you've been doing and come out now?"
Separating from Naruki, Anko smirked down at her and the dumbstruck expression on her face. Reaching down, the Snake Mistress took the necklace into her hand and fastened it back around Naruki's neck, activating the genjutsu once more. "I think I'm going to enjoy my time with you little 'Naruto'-chan."
A few minutes later
Naruto was standing silent with his team as Anko went over the rules of the second stage of the Chunin Exams. Once she has finished speaking, the proctor began handing out forms to each of the participants. When she finally reached Naruto and handed him his form, the two of them locked eyes with one another right before the Snake Mistress leaned in close and whispered in the young blonde's ear. "Looking forward to seeing you later my little minx."
Blushing furiously at that, Naruto tried to shrink into himself while the other genin looked at him with wide eyes, wondering just what the hell happened between the two of them. Seeing how silent her teammate was, Sakura placed a hand gently upon his shoulder and looked into his eyes when Naruto turned to look her way. "N-Naruto-kun? What happened? Did she do something to you? You are never this quiet…or shy."
The blonde simply shook his head and forced a shy smile before filling out his form and taking a few steps away. As this happened, the other genin in the area couldn't help but look at Anko and feel a sense of absolute fear wash over them. After all, if this proctor could tame the insane blonde genin, just what the hell was she actually capable of?!
Moments later, as Team 7 stood outside their assigned gate, Sasuke demanded that Naruto hand the scroll to him. Oddly enough, the blonde actually complied without raising a fuss. Blinking in confusion at this, the Uchiha hid the scroll away on his being and took a step back as his pink-haired teammate got in front of Naruto and hugged him tight. "Oh Naruto-kun, I'm sooo sorry. I should have been there for you! She did such horrible things to you, didn't she Naruto-kun?!"
Seeing the dobe like this is seriously freaking me out. Whatever that woman did to him, it can't have been good. If he doesn't snap out of this soon, I'm running the hell away from him as soon as we enter the fucking forest! Sasuke thought to himself as he watched the blonde for any signs of recovery.
Naruto blinked a couple of times as he looked at his two teammates. "She didn't do anything. In fact, she was really, really nice. We had a nice conversation, but…yeah." Blushing furiously, Naruto shrunk into himself again and began scratching at his nose. "It's fine. Nothing happened, so…relax. I'm fine, see?!" Smiling at his teammates, the whiskered genin flexed his right arm and chuckled to himself.
Sakura slowly nodded, but neither she nor Sasuke were really convinced by their teammate's words. Still, they wouldn't question him. So long as Naruto was able to continue, they'd be good to go regardless of his mental state. Seeing that they still weren't convinced, the Uzumaki boy folded his arms across his chest and pouted. "Hey! I'm telling you the truth, I'm fine! She didn't do anything, I'm just…thinking about something she and I talked about. That's all it is." It doesn't help that I couldn't keep control. She's the first person to really…dominate me like that! I couldn't win! Anko's a formidable woman.
1 ½ hours later – Forest of Death
Team 7 had easily found another team and defeated them, quickly earning themselves the scroll they needed. However, it was already getting darker in the forest and they needed to eat something. So, deciding it would be prudent to rest for the night, the three of them found a secluded area and settled down to set up camp for the night.
However, shortly after the three genin of Team 7 began preparing, Naruto suddenly froze and began looking around cautiously. When Sakura went to ask what he was doing, the blonde raised a hand and stood up, drawing a kunai. "Something's coming. Something strong. Whatever it is is coming fast."
Sasuke frowned at this and rose to his feet as well. "And how do you know this dobe? I don't hear anything and I certainly don't see anything. So how could you possibly know something's coming?"
The blonde shot a quick glance at Sasuke and shook his head. "I'm a sensor ninja. I didn't think you guys needed to know, but since you refuse to listen without knowing the truth, there it is." Eyes suddenly widening in horror, Naruto knocked both Sasuke and Sakura to the forest floor and screamed out as he was suddenly sent flying by a powerful gust of wind.
Screaming out, Sakura watched as her teammate disappeared into the forest. As soon as the wind passed, she stood up quickly and went to chase after him. "Naruto-kuuuuun!" Before she could rush off to help Naruto however, Sasuke shot up and grabbed her wrist hard, causing her some pain in the process. "Sasuke-kun, let me go! We need to help Naruto-kun!"
The raven-haired Uchiha quickly shook his head and looked in the direction of their enemy. "We can't. I don't think we'd get very far…"
Naruki
Naruki groaned as she finally stopped flying in a rather forceful way. She had flown right into something and had the wind knocked out of her as she fell on her butt. Rising to her feet, the young blonde looked at what she had crashed into and blinked a couple of times. "Well, that's interesting."
Right before her eyes was a rather large snake. Grinning up at it as it prepared to eat her, the blonde waved. "Hello Mr. Snakey-poo! What's your name?!"
A short time later – Sasuke, Sakura, & Orochimaru
Sasuke was in a panic, doing his very best to hide both himself and his pink-haired teammate from the snake-like kunoichi, or rather, what he thought to be a kunoichi. He had hit the freak of nature with a Katon jutsu earlier, but all it did was melt off this person's face or something. The Uchiha wasn't quite sure just what the heck happened at that point, but he knew for certain it wasn't good. This person was way out of his league and he knew that both he and Sakura were about to die if they didn't get away soon.
Sakura's eyes widened and she began trying to shout to Sasuke that a snake was coming up behind him. However, with her teammate and crush's hand clasped so firmly over her mouth, the pinkette could only watch in terror as it came closer and closer. Right as it was about to attack, the strangest thing happened, it froze and turned to receive a large tree limb to the face, sending it flying from the tree and crashing into the forest floor below.
As Sasuke released Sakura, the two of them looked to see where the tree limb had come from. The pinkette was currently sucking in all the breath she could, after having been suffocated by Sasuke the way she had been. When they finally spotted what threw the makeshift projectile weapon, they couldn't believe their eyes. "Naruto-kun!"
Sasuke Uchiha breathed a sigh of relief at seeing his blonde teammate. "I have never been so relieved to see my insane teammate. He got here just in time. I thought we were done for." Sasuke admitted before he heard cackling coming from right behind him. Leaping forward with Sakura, the Uchiha turned fast on his heel and threw a handful of shuriken at his opponent.
Watching his opponent turn into mud upon being hit by the shuriken, Sasuke began looking around fearfully once again. "Damn it, where the hell are you?!"
The strange, snake-like man appeared on another branch, looking over the blonde Jinchuriki for a moment. "How curious. I would very much like to know how you tamed my dear snake Naruto-kun."
Naruto giggled happily as his new snake friend slithered closer to the group. "Yeeeehaaaaaaaw! This is awesome! Thanks for the ride Mister Snakey-Wakey!" When it simply stopped and turned its gaze to its former master, the blonde grinned Orochimaru's way. "I just have a way with animals. Like that bunny rabbit I took from Haku-kun on that mission! Wittle Cushy-Wushy loves me! And now I have a bunch of new friends here in the forest! Including Snakey-Wakey here!"
Orochimaru's right eyebrow twitched dangerously as he looked down at his snake, or what used to be his snake. Then he noticed something odd. "Where the hell did you find reins for my snake?!"
Blinking, Naruto looked down at the snake and shrugged his shoulders. "I dunno. I guess I just kinda did something I guess? I can't really remember, but at least it makes Snakey-Wakey easier to ride! Now go get 'im boy!"
As Snakey-Wakey rushed forward to attack his former master, the Snake Sannin tried to order it to return from whence it came, only for his order to fail for some reason. "How is this even possible?! You don't even hold the Snake Contract!"
Laughing happily to himself, the whiskered Jinchuriki began to gently pat Snakey-Wakey on the head. "Snakey-Wakey's my new pet! You can't take him away just because you hold some kinda contract with him. Isn't that right Mister Snakey-Wakey Cutie-Wutie Patootie?"
If the snake could sigh, it probably would have by now. Instead, it looked to its former master and began spitting acidic venom at him. Orochimaru was forced to leap from branch to branch just to get away from his own SUMMON of all things! What made things worse for him is that a contract literally just appeared out of nowhere in the blonde brat's hands! "Don't you dare sign that!"
Blinking as he read over the contract, Naruto grinned and looked down at Snakey-Wakey. "Is this for me Mister Snakey-Wakey? Thank you!" In truth, the poor snake summon had no idea how the Snake Contract just randomly appeared in Naruto's hands, but it DID! Before anyone could do anything to stop him, Naruto bit his thumb and signed his name in blood, or rather her name. "Yaaaay! I'm a Snake Summoner now! Yippee-gippee…umm….wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!"
Orochimaru stood there, mouth agape, eyes wide, and was frozen in shock at what had just transpired. As he glanced over to his target, Sasuke, and the pinkette, he realized that they were used to this random behavior, and clearly had no clue how ANY of this just transpired! Shoulders slumping, the Snake Sannin almost felt like crying. "What the hell is going on?"
Naruto smirked and pointed straight at Orochimaru once again. "Okay Spikey-Spider, get him!" Eyes widening at this, Orochimaru looked to his right and screamed out as he was forced to dodge a barrage of spikes being shot from the rear end of some kind of gigantic SPIDER!
"What the hell is going on here?!" The Sannin shouted angrily as he continued to dodge attacks from both the snake and the spider. When he finally felt like he had caught a bit of a break, Orochimaru took in a deep breath before he heard a twig snap behind him. Shakily, the sneaky snake turned around only to see a large boar come charging at him. "Son-of-a-bitch!"
Sasuke and Sakura could only watch as Naruki and her new 'pets' kept the snake-like man on the run. Glancing to his right, the Uchiha blinked a couple of times and chuckled nervously for a moment. "Do you have any idea what's going on right now? I sure as hell don't."
The pinkette shook her head from left to right a couple of times before smiling at her crush. "All I know is I am really happy Naruto-kun appeared when he did. His insanity is really paying off this time!" At this, Sasuke could only nod, agreeing wholeheartedly with that statement.
By this point, over a dozen animals were chasing Orochimaru around the area and attacking him with their own unique attacks. At one point, the snake had managed to strike the Snake Sannin with some of its acid, but it had only grazed the man's arm and hadn't done enough to cause any serious damage, despite actually injuring the man. As he ran, leaping around as needed, the Sannin began running through the choices available to him in his mind. Okay, I clearly underestimated this crazy bastard. If this keeps up, I'll be caught eventually and I can't accept that! If I could just reach the boy and use that sealing technique I could shut the bastard down instantly. But in this situation it's impossible! Wait…
Glancing towards the Uchiha for a moment, the Snake Sannin grinned and came to a decision. Quickly performing a couple of hand seals, he let himself be struck by a rather large tiger. As the man's body turned to mud, the real Orochimaru appeared behind Sasuke and, without warning, bit into his neck. Immediately upon delivering the curse mark upon the Uchiha and rendering him unconscious, he looked to Sakura and began to speak. "When Sasuke-kun awakens, inform him that if he wants real pow-UGH!"
An incredibly large bear had tackled into Orochimaru and sent him crashing through three trees before finally collapsing to the ground in pain. Roaring to prove its might, the bear stared down at the Snake Sannin and watched him slip away. Growling at this, it soon turned to Naruto and awaited further orders.
Naruto hopped off of Snakey-Wakey's head and landed on the tree limb with Sasuke and Sakura. Glancing down at the boy, he tilted his head and frowned. "Well that certainly doesn't look good. We should probably get somewhere safe so he can rest. My friends and I can keep watch!" As Sakura simply nodded, completely flabbergasted at what had just happened and how calm Naruto seemed to be, the pinkette stared down into her crush's face and worried for him.
Orochimaru
The Snake Sannin was currently trying to make his way out of the Forest of Death. His left arm was hanging limp at his side and his right leg was next to useless at the moment. He desperately needed to find Kabuto and get some damn medical attention! "I swear I'll kill that fucking kid the next time I see him. Naruto Uzumaki, I'll remember this!"
In a moment, the Snake Sannin was forced to dodge a Katon jutsu. Landing on one leg on a higher tree limb, he looked tiredly upon one Anko Mitarashi. Sighing, he shook his head. "Anko-chan, I expected you to show up at some point. Do tell me, how is that Curse Mark of yours doing, hm?"
Anko unconsciously rubbed at her mark before she noticed something. "What the hell? That's a first. I'm not used to seeing you so beat up."
Orochimaru scowled at this and glared into Anko's eyes hatefully. "If you see Naruto Uzumaki, tell that little shit that I'll be coming for him later! I won't accept this humiliation!"
At this, Anko burst out laughing and actually doubled over from the pain of laughing so hard. As she started calming down, the Snake Mistress of Konoha looked at her old master and shook her head. "Wow, I didn't think the gaki could kick your ass. Tell me, how'd he do it?"
Grumbling, Orochimaru looked away before he raised his right hand and formed a hand seal. Listening to Anko's scream as she fell to her knees, the Snake Sannin smirked. "Go ahead and try to laugh now Anko-chan." As he looked down on her, the slippery snake shook his head in disappointment. "Tch. Normally I'd love to play with you a bit more before I resorted to something like this, but I'm neither in the condition nor in the mood to screw around right now."
Hopping down to where Anko was kneeling in pain, the Sannin smirked at her, ignoring his own pain. "I have a message I need delivered for me Anko-chan. Tell your dear 'Hokage' that he'd best keep these Chunin Exams going if he doesn't want to see his village destroyed. I will see it burned to the ground and its people tortured mercilessly should he even attempt to shut these exams down. Is this understood?"
Anko growled angrily and attempted to spit in Orochimaru's face, but he backhanded her, knocking her on her face before she could. "Deliver the message, or I'll go back, hunt that little shit down, and kill him. Do you understand me now Anko?!"
The purple-haired woman winced, but nodded slowly. She watched as the man disappeared mere moments before the Sandaime Hokage and some ANBU appeared in the area. Naruki-chan, I hope you'll be okay…
The Next Day – Morning
Naruki sat at the entrance to the small hollow thinking over what had happened yesterday night. She was furious with Sasuke for simply handing over one of their scrolls the way he did. It meant that they'd have to get ANOTHER scroll when they could've just gone straight to the tower today if he hadn't been such a dumbass!
Sighing to herself, the crazy blonde looked out into the clearing and sighed. "Listen, all of you! I know you're out there, so why don't you just come on out and I might take it easy on you? I'm kind of in a bad mood."
Soon, Naruki saw a squirrel coming her way and couldn't help but notice the obvious trap. Sighing, she focused a bit of wind-natured chakra into her index finger and swung her finger in an upwards arc at the squirrel. As the explosive tag was torn to shreds, the rodent panicked and ran off at a hurried pace. "Poor Squirrel-chan. Whoever did that to you is going to pay dearly for trying to use such a cute wittle animal as an explosive!"
Just out of view, the Oto genin looked at one another and frowned. The female on the team was the first to speak. "What do we do now Dosu? Isn't that that crazy blonde? I'd rather not fight that…that…thing head-on."
The spiky-haired boy smirked and shook his head. "You're such a scaredy-cat Kin. Just watch, Dosu and I will kick that little punk's ass. You can handle the pink bitch if she comes out. She's easy pickings for the three of us anyways."
Before the mummy-like boy could stop him, the spiky-haired boy stepped out of hiding and pointed his palms at the insane blonde. It didn't take long for his sound waves to be sent right back at him by some strange force of wind, deafening the poor boy. As Zaku screamed out in pain, Naruto appeared in Dosu's face and grinned. "Hey, I'll take that gauntlet now Mummy-kun."
Screaming, the mummy-like boy jumped backwards and attempted to use his gauntlet to attack the blonde, only to fail as the boy disappeared from view. "S-Shit! Where are you?!"
Naruto Uzumaki stood behind Kin and began running his fingers through her hair. "You take pretty good care of your hair 'Kin'. That is your name right? I heard Mister Stupid over there say it a moment ago." When Kin spun around and attempted to strike Naruto with her senbon, she watched as the boy exploded in a cloud of smoke.
"Heeeey! That wasn't very nice. I'm just trying to be friendly Kin-chan." Laughing to himself, the blonde pointed his finger to the black-haired girl and smirked. "Get her Boarsie!" Before Kin could even scream, the large boar from the previous day came charging and slammed into her, sending the girl flying hard into a nearby tree.
As the girl collapsed to the ground, obviously unconscious after taking such a heavy blow, Zaku finally regained his senses and glared at the insane Naruto Uzumaki. "I'll…I'll kill you! You psychotic, insane bastard! Zankūkyokuha (Extreme Decapitating Airwaves)!"
As Zaku's attack began to level the area, Naruto tilted his head slightly to the side before quickly flashing through some hand seals and shouting out the name of his own jutsu. "Futon: Toriosaeru Kaze Kabe (Wind Release: Overpowering Wall of Wind)!" Inhaling a quick breath, Naruto unleashed it and watched as his wall of wind blocked Zaku Abumi's sound-based attack.
Eventually the two attacks canceled each other out, at which point the blonde genin grinned wickedly at the boy across from him. "Bye-bye Mr. Stupid!" By the time Zaku heard Dosu yelling at him, it was already too late. Before he could even turn to look at the Kage Bunshin behind him, the boy was struck by a powerful backhand and sent flying until he too struck a tree and fell to the ground unconscious.
Realizing that there was likely only one way to keep himself from being crushed like his teammates, Dosu leaped out and quickly knelt down, placing his team's scroll on the ground at Naruto's feet. "H-Here! This is our scroll! You're welcome to have it! Just please, please let us leave in peace!" Seeing the disappointed look in the insane blonde's eyes, Dosu winced a bit and decided to voice his question. "W-What? What's wrong?"
Naruto pointed down at the mummy boy's arm and grinned. "Gimme your gauntlet too and you have a deal Mummy Boy!"
Dosu's eye widened and he looked to his gauntlet, his weapon, and frowned. "Damn it. Fine!" Removing it, the boy placed that on the ground as well and prepared to leave. That is, until a really dark power could be felt coming from inside of the tree. "Shit. What is it now?!"
Before anybody could do anything, Sasuke Uchiha was in front of Dosu and backhanding him across the face, sending the poor, defenseless boy flying into a nearby tree. As the young man attempted to stand, Sasuke dashed towards him, obviously wanting to kill somebody. Scared for his life, Dosu began pleading for the Uchiha to just let him walk away with his teammates.
Seeing as how Sasuke wasn't going to stop, Naruto prepared to move, only to watch as two other teams came and restrained him. Glancing over his shoulder, Shikamaru smirked at the blonde genin. "We were watching that fight, you know? It's troublesome, but you're much stronger than anticipated Naruto. Go ahead and take the scroll and your new 'toy' and rest. We'll hold Sasuke until he calms down."
Tenten looked to the wounded Dosu and nodded her head towards his teammates. "Hurry up! Take your teammates and go. You've already lost, so you're out of the competition. Get out of here and get the medical attention you need at the exit!"
Dosu quickly thanked Teams 9 and 10 before rushing to his downed teammates, taking one in both arms, and leaping away as quickly as he could. As soon as they were gone, Lee turned to his blonde-haired friend and grinned. "That was a most youthful fight Naruto-kun! I am impressed! I hope we can fight each other in the next stage my friend."
Naruto chuckled and nodded his head slowly as Sakura stumbled out of hollow. From the looks of it, Sasuke had injured her in his attempt to get to the enemy. She looked at everyone and then down at the ground sadly. "I…I tried to stop Sasuke-kun. I really did, but…"
Ino and Naruto quickly rushed to her side and began looking over her wound. Cursing under his breath, Naruto shot a quick glance back at his male teammate and narrowed his eyes. "He broke your arm Sakura-chan."
The platinum blonde girl with them nodded and began looking around. "The best we can do for you right now is make a sling. You shouldn't try to move your arm for a while Sakura-chan. Give me a minute and I'll be back with something we can use." And with that, Ino began rushing around the area in search of something usable.
Meanwhile, Choji, finally tired of Sasuke struggling against Shikamaru's Kagemane no Jutsu (Shadow Imitation Technique), slugged the Uchiha as hard as he could and sent him crashing to the ground. "Damn it Sasuke, snap out of it already!"
At first, the marked Uchiha glared at everyone, but after a few seconds the curse mark began to recede and he collapsed to the ground breathing heavily. The five surrounding him finally released him and watched as he slowly rose, looking around at everybody before his gaze finally rested on a really pissed off Naruto. "Is Sakura okay?"
Stepping in front of Sakura to keep the raven-haired boy away from her, the whiskered Jinchuriki shook his head. "You broke her arm. The answer is no, Sasuke, she is most definitely not okay. And the scroll Dosu-Mummy gave us is another damn Earth Scroll, so we still have to find a Heaven Scroll before we can go to the tower and get her some fucking help!"
As the pinkette went to say something, Ino rushed up to her and began tending to her with Tenten's and Lee's help. Before anyone could say anything, Shikamaru walked up to his blonde friend and held out his hand, palm up. "If you don't need that second Earth scroll, could we perhaps have it instead? We are in need of one."
Sighing at this, Naruto Uzumaki nodded slowly before placing the extra Earth Scroll into his friend's hand. "Thanks for your help guys. As soon as Ino has finished tending to Sakura-chan, you guys should get to the tower. You'll be safest there. It's pretty dangerous out here in the forest."
Sasuke gripped his teammate's arm roughly and glared at him. "Damn it dobe, what the hell are you doing?! Don't just go handing over one of our scrolls! They're the enemy!"
Tired of Sasuke by now, Naruto sighed heavily before his fist suddenly connected with the Uchiha's face rather hard. Everyone in the area heard the bones in the Uchiha's nose breaking, causing him to scream in pain before collapsing to his knees and clutching his now bleeding nose. "That's what I think of your complaints teme. Either shut the fuck up or I can start breaking other, more vital parts of your body. It's your choice."
Shikamaru and Choji smirked at this. Reaching over, the rotund boy patted Naruto on the shoulder and grinned. "Thanks for that Naruto, you're a good guy. We'll take good care of the scroll."
The Nara looked into Naruto's eyes and nodded slowly. "We'll also inform Hokage-sama of the situation if we get to see him. This situation is troublesome, but it seems like something he should know." Sighing, the brown-haired boy looked to the Yamanaka on his team and muttered "Troublesome." again before walking off with Choji. "Since you're finished now Ino, we should get going."
Ino frowned at this, but nodded her head before wrapping Sakura in a gentle hug, being careful not to brush her wounded arm too much. "Be safe Sakura. We'll see you in the next stage of the Exams, okay?" After seeing her best friend nod, the young Yamanaka girl hurried after her teammates. Please keep her safe Naruto-kun…even if it's from Sasuke-kun…
Neji looked to his teammates before glaring at the members of Team 7. "We'll be taking our leave now. If Fate decrees it, we will meet in the next stage. Farewell." And with that, Team 9 took their leave as well, leaving the three members of Team 7 alone in the clearing with Naruki's many odd pets in the surrounding area watching over them.
Sighing heavily once more, Naruto looked down at his hands for a moment before quickly calling Chikao and Katsuo to his side. Looking to Katsuo, he smiled softly. "Katsuo, can you please carry Sakura-chan? She's been injured, and considering she's twisted her ankle as well," shooting a knowing glance at his pink-haired teammate at this point, he nodded, "it's best that she not walk for a time. Chikao, I'd like you to scout the area. If you see any other teams or anyone on their own that you think might be carrying one of these scrolls," at this point, the blonde pulled out his team's scroll, "please, please inform me right away. Oh! Before I forget, if you happen to get a closer look at the scroll, it needs to have the symbol for Heaven on it. It's different from this one."
The monkey summon nodded, hugged his summoner's neck for a moment, and leaped off into the trees in search of some new victims for good Naruto. Meanwhile, Katsuo lifted Sakura into his arms and looked down at his summoner. "We should move from this location Naruto-kun. The commotion from your battle will likely attract any teams that are nearby, and you three need your rest for now."
Nodding in agreement with that, Naruto and Sasuke took off with Katsuo and the other animals in search of a new location to rest. Please hurry Chikao. I'm counting on you to find somebody with the right scroll!
Later, afternoon
After finding a new spot to rest that was tucked away betwixt two rather large trees, Chikao returned to Naruto and informed him of a lone girl with a scroll. Blinking at the idea of such a thing, the blonde leaped off, following his summon to go and see which scroll this girl happened to have.
Some time later, he came across said girl and almost laughed as she was being chased by a rather large bear. Leaping down in front of it, the young blonde reached up and patted the bear on its chest, sending a bit of chakra through its body. Soon enough, it collapsed and began dozing happily on the ground. "Theeere we go, that takes care of that. Now…"
Turning around to face the girl, the blonde took in her appearance. She had lovely red hair and brown-rimmed glasses that only seemed to accentuate her beautiful crimson-colored eyes. "Well aren't you a looker? Are you okay Miss…?"
The redhead blushed a bit and slowly extended a hand, quickly shaking her savior's hand with a small smile playing at her lips. "K-Karin. My name is Karin. Thank you very much for helping me!"
Naruto Uzumaki grinned and nodded in response. "Hey, it's what I do Karin-chan. The name's Naruto Uzumaki, it's good to meet ya. Nooow..." Pointing at Karin's scroll, the blonde decided to voice his question. "Which scroll do you have? I'm kiiinda in need of a Heaven scroll. One of my teammates has a broken arm thanks to an, erm…'accident' and I'm desperate to get this stage of the exam over with so I can get her the help she needs."
Karin's mind was racing. Uzumaki?! Did I really just hear that right?! It can't be… Then his question registered in her mind. Blinking a couple of times, the redhead looked down at the scroll she was carrying and shook her head. "No, I'm sorry. It's an Earth scroll. I'm trying to get a Heaven scroll too. But…" Smiling at the boy before her, the young redhead decided to offer her help. "I'm…I'm a medic of sorts. If you take me to your friend, I might be able to help her. Please? I promise I won't do anything, I just want to help."
Naruto smiled at this and took both of her hands in his. "Yes, please! Let's go. She's in a lot of pain." Seeing the girl nod, Naruto quickly scooped her up into his arms and began leaping off with her back to the temporary camping spot of Team 7. The entire time this was happening, Karin couldn't stop blushing at the close contact with her fellow Uzumaki. This one is really bold, isn't he?
Team 7's Camp
Karin was currently looking over Sakura's broken arm and frowned. "This really looks very bad. But, I have a way to fix it if you're willing to hear me out?" Sakura looked to her teammates before looking into the girl's crimson-colored eyes and nodding. "I…have a strange healing ability. If you bite into my arm and absorb some of my chakra, you'll be healed in no time. I know it sounds strange, but please, trust me!"
Naruto cocked an eyebrow at this while Sasuke simply looked skeptical. Sakura, on the other hand, looked between her teammates again before nodding at Karin. When the girl rolled up her sleeves, Sakura leaned forward and bit into the girl's arms. This is so weird, but I really hope it works! Naruto-kun seems to trust her, so…
Team 7 was shocked when the healing process began. Karin's chakra really was restoring Sakura back to normal! When the pinkette was fully healed, she slowly removed her arm from the makeshift sling and moved it around tentatively, nervous that it might hurt should she move it too much. When she felt no pain at all, she turned to Karin and hugged her tight. "Thank you so much Karin-chan! I'm glad we met you!"
Karin smiled and gently patted Sakura's back before looking to Naruto and smiling his way. "It's thanks to Naruto-kun that I'm here right now. He saved me, therefore it's only right that I repay him however I can. I'm just happy that I could be of help." Smiling at the pinkette, Karin bowed her head before walking over to Naruto and nodding her head to him as well. "Thank you for your help Naruto-kun. Good luck, and take care, okay?" Leaning in close, the girl kissed the whiskered blonde's cheek before hurrying off, her scroll clutched tight to her chest.
Blinking at this, Naruto reached up and touched his cheek. Heh, if only these people actually knew I was a girl, I highly doubt they'd do things like that. Chuckling to himself at that thought, Naruto looked at his teammates and sighed softly. "Chikao will continue looking for other teams, but I have a feeling we won't be finding anything tonight. So let's eat and get some rest. We'll continue our search in the morning. Sound good?"
Sasuke and Sakura both nodded before they began digging around in their packs for their rations. They didn't have much left, but it would be enough for tonight. Afterwards, they would need to go hunting and/or fishing for more food. As Sakura looked at her blonde-haired teammate, she found herself frowning. That Karin girl seems interested in you Naruto-kun. Maybe it's just because you saved her, but I got the feeling it was probably more than that. Maybe I'm just imagining things…
Two Days Later – Central Tower
Around midday of the fourth day, Team 7 had obtained the required scroll and had arrived at the tower just an hour after that. After speaking with Iruka, Naruto and Sakura had informed their sensei, Kakashi Hatake, of the weird mark on Sasuke's neck, after he showed up of course! They didn't see Sasuke for the rest of that day.
Naruki had wandered off with Haku when he arrived at the tower. They just relished in each other's company, and the blonde had informed Haku of Anko Mitarashi and her plan to bring her into the relationship. At first, the ice-user was hesitant, but after a long talk with his girlfriend, the young man began to laugh and slowly found himself agreeing to it. This fact actually rather surprised the young man, but he wasn't going to complain. After all, Haku realized that this was just how Naruki was; she was completely unpredictable, and he had already come to terms that she could be pretty strange sometimes.
Sadly, they had yet to actually see Anko since Naruki arrived at the tower. This fact greatly worried the blonde, and Haku had a really difficult time trying to comfort her. They both had a feeling that something had happened, so it was only made that much more difficult. Eventually, the ice-user had simply nodded his head, hugged his girlfriend close, and said to her, "I'm sure Anko-san will be fine Naruki-chan. So we didn't get to meet when you wanted us to? This calmed the blonde down greatly, and she quickly agreed with that sentiment. Immediately afterwards however, she had begun trying to tickle her boyfriend, much to his confusion and amusement. Sadly, they really couldn't do anything too intimate. Naruki had wanted to hold her boyfriend close in her true gender and perhaps even get a little 'frisky', but without the privacy needed for such a thing, that was absolutely impossible right now and it frustrated her. So, the two of them had to settle for their usual activities when out in public when Naruki was in her male persona, Naruto.
At one point, Naruki had shown her boyfriend the gauntlet she had taken from Dosu and grinned happily. Looking it over, Haku chuckled nervously and pointed out that it was a little too big for his girlfriend to use properly. At that, the Jinchuriki just shrugged her shoulders and explained that she planned to either keep it as a trophy or have it remodeled so she could use it herself. Understanding her plan, Haku convinced Naruki to go for the second option and proceeded to kiss his girlfriend as he so often enjoyed doing.
Other than these few activities, not much happened. Sakura had been examined by some medic nin, but they found that her arm had already healed to the point that it wouldn't affect her performance in battle, so she was given permission to participate in the next stage of the exams without a hassle. Ecstatic at that piece of news, she had rushed to find Naruto. Upon finding him, she glomped her friend with a grin and hugged him tight. The pinkette would have informed Sasuke of the news, but a part of her was afraid to go anywhere near him at the moment.
It was currently the end of the fifth day and all the passing teams were standing together in a large room. Their senseis were up above, lining the area above them. The proctors for the first and second exam with up there too, along with the Sandaime Hokage, some ANBU, and others that Naruto didn't quite recognize. He did recognize Yugao, Zabuza, and Haku, all apparently having decided to visit to watch him kick butt in whatever the next stage was.
Smiling at his family, the young blonde waved to them for a moment before turning his gaze to Anko. She wasn't looking too well, obviously having suffered some form of trauma since last they saw each other. Still, Naruto was happy that the Snake Mistress was safe and smiled when Anko looked his way. As Anko smiled his way, the blonde couldn't help the grin that spread across his face.
Soon enough, Hiruzen Sarutobi spoke up, congratulating the genin on making it through the second stage of the exams. Then, Naruto recognized the man known as Hayate jump down and begin talking. Apparently he was the next proctor, and some preliminary rounds would have to be held before they could begin the third stage of the exams. This fact didn't bother Naruto any, instead it excited him. After all, he'd get to fight some more!
What did bother Naruto was the fact that the four-eyed guy that had the cards dropped out. He didn't look all that exhausted. Instead, it looked as if Kabuto could easily kick some ass if he chose to! With a shrug, the young blonde put that out of his head before turning to his Jiji. Grinning to himself, Naruto listened as Hiruzen Sarutobi spoke his next words. "Let the preliminary rounds…" At this point, the Sandaime Hokage looked around at all of the genin and grinned as well. "BEGIN!"
A/N: Okay, I was feeling like crap pretty much the ENTIRE TIME I was writing this chapter. Sooo...if it's not that great, I do apologize for that. I've just been so tired and I haven't been getting a whole lot of rest. This happens sometimes, and since I started having these problems around the same time I began having my seizures...yeaaaah, I think it's tied in with that. *sighs*
Anyways, I do hope you enjoyed the chapter. If you did, I'm really glad. As you no doubt noticed, I gave Naruki the Snake Contract. She now has two contracts. I've done this in RoNUN as well, giving Naruto two summoning contracts. As far as I'm concerned, you can have multiple contracts in fics, sooo...bleh. :P lol.
I'm really not feeling so great right now. My head feels like it's about to explode, it hurts that bad. I can't think of too much to say. Chapter 3 of The Legend of Naruto is up next, so hopefully you're looking forward to that. *nods*
