I actually didn't mean for this to be published on Fanfiction- but when I reread it today I thought it might be of some encouragement for anyone who is struggling in their spiritual walk with Christ.

Encouragement for the Doubtful

It seems like there are so many sad things happening in my life right now; things that I don't understand, and yet there is a reason why they are happening and a special purpose involved.

It is all initiated by God,and I am to learn from these experiences.

I want to learn. I find myself striving each day to make the right decisions and follow Christ, but then I also see myself fail at every attempt. Falling because of my own stupidity, and too blind to realize that I have a Savior standing by my side, ready to pick me up again if I only ask.

There is more to life than living. There are struggles and heartaches, rejoiceful moments and sorrowful times we all face. But there is something more to it than any one of us are able to grasp in this earthly mind. We are not here to "play the game" of life as the world sees fit. We are spiritual beings. Not of this world at all, but in the realm of where our Creator and enemy battle between souls.

We draw swords, face off with our enemy, stand side by side with our gaurdian angels, and don't even realize it, because we do not see out of this world. The only time we notice anything different in life is when we are victorious or when we lose the battle to Satan. We may not see, but I think we all feel a major difference whithin our heart, soul and mind; especially whithin our spiritual being where the fighting takes place.

We live our lives day by day, but are not really living at all. We are either consumed by the holy fire of Christ's love, or we are walking in totoal darkness where our enemy breathes mockery down our backs.

We are either alive or we are dead. That is how we should look at life.

Always know that if we are the person walking in total darkness, our gentle Savior can ,and will, reach down to grasp us firmly in his grip of love and salvation. But only if we ask Him to forgive us our sins and invite Him in our heart.

And if we are the one who is dead, always remember that Christ died so that we sinners can be brought to life again through Him.

It is all for His glory. Even the things that we do not understand, and probably never will. He has a purposeful plan that will eventually come into the shape and form of a loving and merciful Father towards His children. It will shape us into the warriors we were ment to be, to fight off our attacker, and be victorious over the things we are tested of.
