After hours of exaustive trip after the odisea of the Lotus Temple, Jackie, Jade and Xu Lin decided to rest for the night...

Jade was sleeping soundly in the camp next to Xu Lin, who was turning and tosing in her sleep, sundely she aowke with a small whimper and turned towards her partner.

-Jade... Jade, you're awake?-

-Hmmmmmnnn, hm? Yes, Xu Lin, what's wrong, Why are YOU awake, It is still dark- came the sleepy reply.

-I'm sorry… I couldn't sleep, I needed someone to talk, and I didn't feel like talking to Jackie.- Xu Lin said, her eyes downcast.

-Oh… and what do ya want to talk about?-Jade asked, now more awake.

-I was, worried-

-Worried, about what?- there was a hint of concern in Jade's voice.

-What if, what if my parents don't love me anymore? What if they'd forgot about me? and if they don't want me?- Xu Lin's voice was trembling even so slightly. Her eyes had were filled with unshed tears.

-I'm sure they haven't forgot about you, I bet they have missed you a lot, and they still love you.- Jade said soothingly to her friend as she gingerly put a hand on Xu Lin's shoulder.

-How do you know so surely?

-Intuition. Haven't you been told?. I'm a psique- Jade said jokingly earning an amused giggle from her friend.- I promise you that everything's gonna be just cool.- she assured.

Xu Lin looked up and her eyes met Jade's. she smiled softly- Thanks Jade-

-Hey. what are friends for?-

-J.Jade?-Xu Lin called hesitantly.

-Yeah?-

-Would you mind if I stayed here? With you?. I don't want to sleep alone. It feels strange for me not to have to sleep in the temple anymore.-

Jade had been taken by aback by Xu Lin's request but tried her best to not show it. And after thinking over it she consider it harmless. Her uncle was mostly sleeping like a rock right now. And waking him up was not an option after seeing her friends state. So after a minute or so of thinking she made up her mind.

-Sure. Why not? Though I have to warn you I'm not that peaceful while sleeping.- she commented in a joke attempt.

-It doesn't matters. I just don't want to be alone tonight.- Xu Lin said as she lied beside her friend in the sleeping bag.

-Don't worry. You wont be-Jade whispered softly. Pulling up the blankets on to her friend's snuggling body before dosing up.
