AN: I NOT DEAD! I've just been stressed out from my school assignments, I even got a good grade for my science!

I have been working hard on chapter three though and this interlude is just something I wanted to upload to tease you guys for the next few chapters because I just want to see you suffer (lol). Oh, and thank you to Axxcel for pointing out the mistakes I have made in the fanfiction, I really aprreciate that. But I do want to point out the reason I said that the hunter's cap had withered feathers on it is because in the description on it said it was, so yeah. I also want to thank forthose8675309 for the feedback that made my day (truly).

I have also been reading Berserk for inspiration since forthose8675309 and my friend Lord Chad Thundercock told me to do so. That's another reason why this took so long. But enough with this AN, to the fanfic!

Dream Cycle: Home alone?

Doll stood alone at the base of the stairs and staring into the ocean of mist, awaiting the return of the good hunter. The servant spends this time recalling the hunters that she remembered mostly. The first dreamer, Eileen the crow, Djura the retired hunter, Co-

A light appeared on the stone path, pulling the servant away from its thoughts. An umbral silhouette stood up from the centre of the light, its features slowly becoming clearer as the light fades.

"Welcome back, good hunter" the doll greeted the young hunter in the Yharnam hunter attire.

"Hello, Doll." he greeted back.

The hunter was unusually calm even when he had experienced his first death he didn't even show any signs of surprise when he had met the doll after gaining knowledge from the skull of a madman, he had found from the sewers. He was also gentle and kind even when greeting her, treating the servant like a human.

"You seem a bit…happy?" she tested the words "why is that?"

"Well… let's just say that I met a dusty old crow" he chuckled.

"Ah, I see" she chuckled along.

"You know of her?" he asked, surprised.

"She was a dreamer, just like you good hunter" she said "Long before you came"

"She never told me of this" he said.

"Perhaps… she has forgotten" the smile on the doll's face became one of solemness "But that is in the past. Now, what is it that you desire?"

"Nothing right now" he waved his hand "But if you may can you put these gems in the storage box?"

He hands the doll triangular shaped gem and another that is in the shape of a star. They appeared to be made of blood. Doll takes the gems and heads up to the Hunter's workshop. The hunter turns around and kneels before the Yharnam headstone.

"Yharnam sewers" he whispers.

And the messengers abided.

Doll came from the workshop just in time to see the hunter leave the dream. She sighed once more and went back to her usual spot and stood there once again recalling memories of hunters she has met. Things have been quite lonely in the dream, especially when you have spent an infinite amount of time never leaving it. Perhaps this feeling is boredom?

She sighed once again. She won't believe that she would say this but… she wishes for Jaune to come back soon.

Light and mist gathered on the stone path. She opened her eyes to welcome them home.

"Welcome back, Good hunter"

AN: Wonder who that is? Oh well guess we'll have to wait again.

Chapter three will take a bit longer than the previous two chapters since I'll be making it quite long (for me) but I had my Chad to help me with the planning out of the lore and story which I am grateful for, so that made life a lot easier.

Oh and to the demon that has been chasing us down I will now mention your name here since I did say I will to get you off my back.

*Clears throat*

Rach... That good enough? I think that's good enough.

Anyways I need sleep, I'll see you guys in chapter three. Bye.

Edit:Hehehehe, rawr. - Rach

Please help, she cursed us T_T
