"Hurry it up, guys!"

Leonardo led Raphael and Donatello down the dark passageway. Their timing needed to be impeccable. No doubt Michelangelo was already at his post, ready to surprise attack their dangerous foes. The leader always needed to be on top of the game.

"I'm hurryin'," Raphael proclaimed, his sais in his hands. "But I'm still waitin' for the okay to pulverize this creep instead 'a runnin'." Sprinting besides him, Donatello shook his head. "No way! Mikey made us promise to stick to his plan, and we're gonna do it."

Raphael grumbled, but didn't argue about it overtly. Seeing the tunnel that forked off on three sides and denoted their rendezvous point, Leonardo charged faster, headed for the center. "There it is! Let's go!" With that, the three small turtles headed for their predetermined passageways; Raphael to the left, Leonardo at center, and Donatello to the right.

The plan was simple. As Raphael had been the one to anger their quicker enemy the most, the monster would most assuredly go after him first. Thinking him alone, the creature will lower his guard and be all the more unprepared when Michelangelo leapt down from his hiding place and dealt with him. The slower of the two fiends would hopefully go for Leonardo, allowing for Donatello to cut through from his tunnel and help defend his brother before Michelangelo could take care of things. Looking behind him, he saw that this much of the plan was holding up. Of course it would. Michelangelo wouldn't make a faulty plan.

Looking back ahead, Leonardo skidded to a stop. "M… Michelangelo?" Aghast, he watched as his brother made his way to him, a large toy car in his hands. "Yo, check it out, bro! Look at what was floating around by the reservoir! Once Donnie has a look at it, it should be the ultimate in radio-controlled technology!"

"What are you doing here?" Leonardo blurted out. "You're supposed to be at the next tunnel, helping Raph!" Michelangelo looked at him blankly. Finally, realization came to his eyes and he hit himself in the head. "Doh! I knew there was something I forgot to do!"

A familiar voice screamed to their side, and Leonardo hardly had the chance to realize that it was Raphael before a growl sounded behind him. Spinning around on his heels, Leonardo saw the second creature charging after them. Unsheathing his katanas, he asked his brother, "So what are we going to do?"

He peered behind him when he heard no answer. Michelangelo appeared to be in deep contemplation. A movement behind his brother caused Leonardo to turn around again. Donatello was racing to where the two of them stood, but was suddenly intercepted by the first speed demon of a creature. With a scream, Leonardo watched his brother fall.

Turning back to Michelangelo, Leonardo prayed for a plan. With an abrupt sense of victory, Michelangelo snapped his fingers. Stepping besides his brother, he threw the newfound toy at the second monster's head and pulled at Leonardo, running away whilst screaming shrilly. "This?" Leonardo asked, horrified. "This is your ingenious plan?"

The words hardly left his mouth before the two young turtles were cornered by their enemies.

"And that's why Michelangelo isn't the leader."

Michelangelo had paused his video game halfway through the story. "Gee," he commented sarcastically as Raphael and Donatello roared in laughter nearby. "Thanks, Leo. I'm glad you're so confident in my abilities." Putting down the sheet of paper he had been reading his story from, Leonardo smiled smugly. "But of course, Mikey."

He hardly managed to speak before getting hit in the head with Michelangelo's controller.
