Fox landed his Arwing right in front of the Volcano Force Point Temple and opened up the bomb bay letting Tricky out. Tricky crawled out of the bomb bay and took a moment to stretch his legs. Fox did the same. He gave his arms a bit of a stretch as well. He then said, "Well, Tricky, let's get to the Temple."

Tricky then asked, "Are you sure it's a good idea to leave Krystal behind? My gut tells me that we're going to need her help."

"I appreciate your concern, Tricky, but right now, Elysia needs her right now, and I think she just gave her an excuse not to go back to that lava pit again."

"True, but she was helpful on our last trip here."

Fox thought for a moment. He then set up a device at the entrance to the temple. "This device will allow us to teleport to the temple entrance. If we turn out to actually need Krystal after all, we can easily warp back to the temple entrance, hop into the Arwing, head on back to ThornTail Hollow, and say to Krystal, 'Uh, Krystal, I think we may need your help after all.'"

"Good thinking, Fox."

"Thanks. Now, we'd better head in."

Fox and Tricky headed into the Volcano Force Point Temple. Fox jumped off the same three platforms above the lava pit to safety like last time with Tricky following suit. Then Fox and Tricky went into the main hall and saw a fiery jet stream shooting out of the floor with a metal grating on the sides of it. When the flame disappeared, Fox and Tricky hopped through the hole in the floor and walked to the bridge above another lava pit. Fox aimed his staff at a flaming bat heading his way and activated his Ice Blaster, freezing the bat solid, and it shattered into pieces when it fell on the bridge. He and Tricky continued on the bridge. Then, two more bats appeared toward them. Fox froze one with his Ice Blaster again, but the other flew by and left a burn on his shoulder. The bat turned around and swooped at Fox again, but he froze it as well. Fox put his staff away and clutched at his burned shoulder. Tricky said "This would have been easier if we did bring Krystal along."

"Yeah. But we'll find out in a moment if we really need her right now or not. And if we do, I know how we can easily get her here." They continued across the bridge and turned around walking up a slope with a conveyer belt, dodging barrels charged at them. Fox complained, "More barrel chucking!? More!?"

When he and Tricky reached the end, they rushed to the corridor to their right, then hopped across a gap and then climbed up on a rock wall at the edge of the room. Fox and Tricky reached the top of the rock wall, and Fox peeked over at the next corridor. He spotted some… unwelcome company.

"SharpClaws. Lots of SharpClaws."

"Couldn't you just fight your way through them?" asked Tricky.

"Technically, but that would be much easier if Krystal came along." But then Fox had an idea. "Then again…" Fox activated the device on his wrist-mounted PDA and activated his SharpClaw disguise.

Tricky thought it was a clever idea, but was quick to notice a major flaw in it. "Good thinking, but won't they find it suspicious that I would be walking around freely with you?

"True, but I found this." Fox took out a large chain with a collar at the end. "I can use this to trick them into thinking that you're my prisoner."

"Oh, no. You're not locking me up in a chain!"

"I'm sorry, Tricky, but I have to make my disguise seem all the more convincing."

"No no no no no no no no no no no no no! I'm not gonna have that thing around my neck!"

But Fox wasn't going to take no for an answer. "Come on! Don't be such a wuss!" And he tackled Tricky while Tricky kicked and screamed, but Fox pinned him down and forcibly clamped the chain's collar around Tricky's neck. He then yanked the chain, and Tricky kept yelping and squirming. Fox then said, "Well, at least your stubbornness will make the ruse more convincing. Now get up and move!" He yanked the chain and pulled Tricky along.

Fox, disguised as a SharpClaw, continued to drag Tricky along the floor past the SharpClaw guards. But one of the SharpClaw guards stopped him, saying, "Halt! State your…" But then the guard noticed the EarthWalker youngling in chains. "Is that Prince Tricky of the EarthWalker tribe!?"

Another SharpClaw guard approached. "Hey! Hand the EarthWalker Prince over to us!"

Fox (still disguised) shouted, "Back off! I'm the one who captured him, I deserve the reward for doing so!"

"Then what are you doing here at the Volcano Force Point Temple!?"

"Scales instructed me to meet him on the roof of the Temple."

"And how is it that you get to see Scales?"

"I'm the one who captured Tricky, I'm the one who reported to Scales accordingly! Outta my way or I'll tell him that you're hindering me!"

The guards hesitated for a moment. Then they sneered at him, scoffing, "Fine! But don't think we're gonna be friends from now on." The guards reluctantly stood aside. Fox moved forward, dragging Tricky along.

As soon as Fox and Tricky were past the guards, and at the gate, Fox finally released the collar around Tricky's neck. Tricky growled, "What was that for!?"

"How else was I supposed to make the ruse look convincing?"

"And you think that makes it okay to just…"

"Put a sock in it, Tricky. At least you didn't blow our cover." Fox then took the SpellStone from his backpack and put it in the keyhole, opening the gate. Fox and Tricky then walked through the gate and went to the other side of the bridge. There, they reached a door that also had a keyhole shaped like the SpellStone. But Fox sensed something wrong…

Fox detected a SharpClaw soldier sneaking up behind him, carrying a shield in his left hand and an ax in his right. Fox instantly dodged the SharpClaw's strike and then swung at him with his staff. But the staff bounced harmlessly off the SharpClaw's shield, so Fox vaulted over the SharpClaw and then rammed his staff onto the SharpClaw's head, causing it to hurt so hard, the SharpClaw dropped his weapon. The SharpClaw lost consciousness, after which Fox ceased his attacks and then placed the SpellStone in the keyhole in the door. The door opened, and then Fox and Tricky walked right in.

Fox and Tricky walked through the hallway and into a large circular room with a ladder next to one of the walls. They stepped into the center of the room and the platform at the center lowered, and then Fox and Tricky found themselves in front of a corridor. Fox and Tricky walked through that corridor, going around the lava pits, then into the next room and across the bridge, leading to the SpellStone keyhole that Fox didn't open on his previous trip to the Volcano Force Point Temple. So he took out the SpellStone, and put it into the keyhole, and then the door across from the keyhole opened and a bridge formed leading to the door. Fox called to Tricky, saying, "Come along. The planet isn't gonna save itself." Fox and Tricky walked across the bridge, through the door, and through a corridor that led them to another large, circular room, with blue walls contrasting with the reds and oranges of the rest of the temple. Fox and Tricky walked to the center of the room, and the platform in the room lifted them upwards into another room above.

Fox heard Krystal's voice telepathically in his head. Fox. Are you making progress on returning the SpellStone?

Fox replied, Yes, I am. We have more or less reached the depths of the temple. It doesn't seem like we're far away from the SpellStone's proper place."

That's good to hear.

How's Elysia holding up?

She seems more relaxed than earlier. And I must say, asking her to read your thoughts and memories was a gutsy move. I take it you did so in an attempt to gain her trust, and I'd say it was helpful to her.

Do you think we could have her sent to the Great Fox for medical attention?

I think so, but I think she should have more time to get to know you first. Maybe we can talk to her after you get back from returning the SpellStone?

Okay. Maybe that way we could figure out how she escaped. I think it's gonna be a pretty cool story.

Looking forward to it. All right. See you when you're back.

See ya too!

After Fox and Krystal's telepathic communication ended, Fox and Tricky advanced through the corridor. But when they got to the end of the corridor, the door was locked. Fox was baffled. "How do we open this door?"

Tricky suggested, "Maybe we should look around a bit."

"Good idea."

Fox looked around the corridor. He spotted a pair of blue torches furthest from the locked door, and closest to the left that led Fox to the corridor. Then, there was a pair of green torches. Then a pair of red ones, then a pair of yellow torches closes to the locked door. Fox wondered if it might be a clue. He walked back to the corridor entrance, and went back to the room where the left took him and Tricky. He looked back at the corridor and wondered if there might be a clue. He then walked back to the entrance of the hallway, spotted a ladder, and climbed it up to a balcony containing four torches, one containing a red flame, a blue flame, a green flame, and a yellow flame. He slid back down the ladder to take another good look at the order. Blue, then green, then red, then yellow. Then he climbed back up the ladder and started putting out the blue torch with his Ice Blast. Then he did the same with the green torch, then the red, then yellow. With the correct order of the torches put out, the door at the end of the corridor finally opened. Fox slid down the ladder and walked through the corridor saying, "Come along, Tricky." and Tricky followed him as they walked through the door.

Fox and Tricky walked through the door, but then suddenly, two SharpClaw soldiers with axes and shields jumped out at him, and he quickly dodged their strikes before drawing his staff. Without Krystal there to battle at his side, Fox had to keep his wits about him, but this was nothing he couldn't handle.

As soon as one of the SharpClaw warriors charged at Fox, he quickly vaulted over him and ran the tail end of his staff onto his head. It sent a powerful electric shock into the SharpClaw's head, sending a powerful electric shock into him. The massive jolt of electricity almost instantly incapacitated the SharpClaw warrior, but then the other one charged right at him with his axe. Fox blocked the blow with his staff. Fox could feel the SharpClaw's axe inching closer and closer towards him. Fox prepared to dodge the attack, but…

All of a sudden, the SharpClaw's body was instantly set on fire. The SharpClaw was screaming in terror and pain. Fox turned to his left and spotted that the flames were coming out of Prince Tricky's mouth. The SharpClaw dashed out of the room in pain.

Fox then turned to Tricky. "Wow, Tricky, I never considered you to be all that much of a fighter."

"Oh, I figured my flame-breathing skills should help you out in a pinch."

"Well, thanks, Tricky. I was wondering why you haven't tried using your flame-breathing to take down Sharpclaw thugs."

"Guess I was too scared to fight."

"Can't say I blame you. You are still a kid and your horns haven't fully grown yet. But I bet that you'll become a super strong warrior just like your father. Now let's get going." Fox then noticed a big red button in the middle of the room. He then asked, "You mind standing on that for a moment?"

Tricky quickly went over to the big button on the floor. The ladder activated, and Fox climbed it to a switch that opened the door right in front of Tricky. Fox activated the switch, the door opened, and then they walked through the door through a winding corridor. They then reached a small, stone bridge leading to a teleportation pad in the middle. They stepped on the warp pad and were warped away.

Fox and Tricky ended up once again in that large room with that same huge stone monument in the center from before. Fox took out the SpellStone and placed it in a third vacant slot. "After this, one more to go."

A red energy beam shot out of the cauldron once again, and then Fox and Krystal teleported once again back at the Moon Mountain Pass.

Fox then said to Tricky, "All right, Tricky, we've kept Krystal waiting long enough. Let's head back to ThornTail Hollow." Fox then opened up the Arwing's cockpit and bomb bay. Tricky walked through to the bomb bay opening while Fox lept into the cockpit. As soon as they were safe and secure, the Arwing took off and headed back to ThornTail Hollow.

Fox once again landed in ThornTail Hollow. Krystal looked up at the Arwing, and was overwhelmed with joy. Once the Arwing landed, the cockpit opened up, as did the bomb bay. Tricky crawled out, and Fox lept out. Fox called, "We did it, Krystal! Only one SpellStone and three Krazoa Spirits left!"

Krystal rushed up to Fox and quickly embraced him. "Fox! You made it back!" Fox returned the embrace. "I'm so glad you made it back safely."

"I am too, Krystal. Have you been taking good care of Elysia?"

"Yep. Very good care of her."

"Mind if we talk to her for a bit before asking Slippy to pick her up?"

"I think that does sound like a good idea."

Fox and Krystal walked up to Elysia. They then sat down next to her. Krystal asked, "So how did you manage to get here? I thought you were trapped in that crystal in Krazoa Palace."

Elysia replied, "I would have been if I didn't fight back."

Elysia cringed and whimpered in her captive capsule at a Venomian experimental facility. She felt her torment overwhelming her and being sealed off from her kin worsened it as they rendered unable to console and support her. She wailed in despair. Then, in an instant, her capsule opened, and the shackles locking her into the capsule unlocked, and she collapsed onto the floor. A Venomian soldier grabbed her by the arm, pulled her upwards, and shouted, "On your feet, wench!"

Another Venomian soldier forcibly locked a handcuff on her wrist and then the first one locked the other handcuff on her other wrist. He then grabbed the cuffs by the center and dragged Elysia across the floor. Elysia whimpered, "Where are you taking me? What are you planning to do to me?"

The Venomian soldier chuckled. "You'll find out soon enough."

As soon as Elysia was brought before a Venomian shuttle, one of the soldiers activated the door to the shuttle and opened the shuttle. As soon as the door opened, the other Venomian soldier pushed her, shouting, "Get inside, bimbo!' Elysia stumbled into the shuttle with her captors dragging her. The hatch closed, and the shuttle took off.

Elysia felt scared and alone. She kept thinking, How could this happen to me? Why is this happening to me? Why couldn't Sabre or Krystal be here to protect me? If this were happening to Krystal, she wouldn't submit to something this horrid! She'd fight back. She would… But all of a sudden, an idea took hold in her mind. That's right! She would fight back! And so must I!

Elysia then looked around for where she could find an escape pod. She found one at the back of the room. Elysia then thought about how strong Krystal was. How she could fight to keep herself and her loved ones safe. She took a deep breath, and slowly let it out. She gathered the courage she needed. She swung her leg behind her, ramming her foot into the guard behind her in the stomach. She then swung her fists, punching the guard in front of her in the nose as soon as he turned around. She then dashed off towards the escape pod. The guards from before immediately tried to pursue her, but she immediately spotted the "launch" button for the escape pod. The pod launched ejecting from the ship. As Elysia watched on, seeing the Venomian ship end up being further and further away from her, she couldn't help but feel fear that the troops piloting it would pursue her. She couldn't help but pray for enough sanctuary from them until someone could arrive to save her. With the implant in her head preventing her from telepathically calling for help, she felt lost. Alone. Vulnerable. Afraid.

"After that, I kept wandering the woods, hoping I could stay out of their sight long enough for somebody to rescue me. And then… You came…" Elysia rushed over to embrace Krystal. "Thank you so much."

"I'm grateful that I was able to help. Thank the Krazoa you escaped. I thought I had lost you. I thought Sabre had lost you."

Fox then said to Elysia, "Wow! You managed to escape from Venomian captivity all by yourself? That's impressive!"

Elysia blushed. "Uh… Thank you, Fox. I am grateful to hear you say something like that."

"You definitely have the potential to become a great warrior just like Krystal. In fact, I think she'd be an excellent mentor for you."

Krystal was shocked at what she just heard. The idea of Krystal teaching Elysia to be a warrior just like her was something that never occurred to either of them. What was holding Elysia back from asking Krystal to teach her how to fight?

Elysia pondered for a bit as well. She did look up to Krystal as a role model for being a good example of a woman being strong-willed and powerful and not letting her femininity hold her back from fighting to defend herself, her loved ones, or just innocent people in general. But at the same time… a part of her feared Krystal. She remembered how when Krystal battled Kaijira to free her and her fellow tribeswomen from him, she attempted to rape Kaijira and if Sabre wasn't there to stop her from doing it, she would have. Krystal recognized that had Sabre not intervined that night, she would have worsened Elysia's trauma. She quickly embraced Elysia and began shedding a tear.

Fox was perplexed. "Was it something I said?"

Elysia then asked, "Could you please take me to where Sabre is?"

Fox then replied, "Just give me a moment here." He then activated his communications link on his wrist. Slippy picked up on the other line, and Fox patched through to him, saying, "Slippy, we got another survivor from Cerinia. You mind taking her to your medical bay?"

"You mean you found someone else in need of medical attention?"

"Well, Krystal healed her, but she needs to reunite with the other people you've rescued."

"Very well. I'm on my way." replied Slippy.

Fox then ended transmission. He turned to Elysia.

Elysia asked Fox, "I trust these are good people?"

"They are. They assisted me in fighting the armies of Venom and are currently helping me save this planet. And they helped me rescue your husband and many other people who have been captured by those pigs."

Elysia nervously trusted Fox. She was shaky due to the past trauma she endured, but she did see into Fox's heart, and saw that he was a good person. Even though she was shaken up and had an impulsive need to be cautious around other people, especially men, she knew deep down in her heart that Fox can be trusted. She nodded. Krystal continued to hug her. Fox kept his distance because she didn't want to scare Elysia. But he had an idea on how he could pass the time and help to support the two ladies.

"Krystal? Elysia? How about I make you ladies some lunch?"

Krystal liked that idea. "That would be great. Thanks."

Fox then set up a small campfire. He then picked up the slab of slate from before that Krystal used earlier after they came back from getting the first SpellStone.

Krystal continued to comfort Elysia. Elyisa shakily said to Krystal, "I guess I was lucky that you found me so quickly. I don't know what would have happened to me if the Venomian soldiers had found me first."

As far as Krystal was concerned, she did know, she just didn't want to say it aloud right in front of Elysia, fearing that it would frighten her even more. All she did was embrace her and give her a shoulder to rest her head on. "You will be safe, Elysia. Fox, his friends, and I will be there to protect you."

Fox kept cooking the eggs until none were still runny, then split it in three, offering two of the sections for the two ladies and keeping the third one. The three foxes ate up. Fox decided to refrain from asking Elysia any more questions, because he was afraid that doing so would scratch open old wounds.

Elysia ate up her part of the eggs. She pondered for a bit. After so much stress, she could use a good meal. "Thank you for this food."

"You're welcome. I can provide you with some fruit too. How about a Dumbledang Pod?" He handed a Dumbledang Pod to Krystal. "You wanna split this for her, Krystal?"

Krystal took the pod and nodded. She got up, smashed the pod end-down on the rock she was sitting on, creating a huge crack in it, then split the fruit at the crack, then gave both halves to Elysia. Elysia then scarfed down the two halves of the Dumbledang Pod, pulp and all. As she scarfed down the fruit, its juices were splashing all over her face. Her desperation for good food led to such a fierce appetite, and she scarfed down the pod so vigorously and finished it in minutes. Elysia had to stop to catch her breath a few times, but afterwards, she went back to eating, and had to catch her breath by the time she finished. She seemed quite panicky at first, but she relaxed after a bit. After catching her breath, she then said, solemnly and relaxedly, "Krystal… Fox… Thank you both. I'm grateful that you found me when you did. And Fox, thank you for calling for good people to protect me."

"You're welcome." replied Fox. Eventually Slippy's Arwing landed on the surface of Thorntail Hollow. The cockpit opened, and Slippy stepped out of it. He then said, "All right, Elysia, do you need a lift?"

Elysia stepped forward. Slippy stepped aside for a moment as Elysia climbed into the back of the cockpit of his Arwing. She then called to Fox and Elysia again, "Thanks for saving my husband too."

"You're welcome, Elysia!" called Krystal!

Slippy entered the Arwing as well, and the cockpit closed and took off back to the Great Fox.

Fox felt amazed at the story he just heard about how Elysia broke out of Venomian captivity all by herself. "I'm amazed at Elysia's story, Krystal. As if being strong wasn't awesome enough, you inspire other women to be strong! Well, not the ones in your tribe, because they were already strong, but you influenced Elysia to fight back against captivity. She kicked butt."

Krystal replied, "Well, I'm glad that she did gain a warrior's strength. And I'm a bit flattered to hear that I was the one who planted the seeds of that bravery in her. I just hope I get to one day see how that would blossom. And I am also grateful that we were able to rescue her as quickly as we did."

"That reminds me; don't you want to let the Cloudrunner Queen know that you rescued Kite?"

Krystal gasped. "You're right! Gimmie a sec…"

The CloudRunner queen was pondering back at CloudRunner Palace, looking out into the bleak night sky. She pondered with worry, thinking, Whouk Krazoa Spirits... fcoujo wiato Krystal udt Fox McCloud ad kxoah zeihdo0 udt xocf kxom julo Sauria. (Great Krazoa Spirits... please guide Krystal and Fox McCloud in their journey and help them save Sauria.) She then felt a surge of worry and dread. Kite… fcoujo ro juvo. Kxejo SharpClaw jsim! A'cc doloh vehwalo kxom veh ud0kxadw kxuk kxo0 mawxk te ke 0ei! (Kite… please be safe. Those SharpClaw scum! I'll never forgive them for anything that they might do to you!)

But she then heard a voice… Krystal's voice… speaking telepathically to her. Uho oei ucc hawxk, Oeih muzojk0? Sud oei xouh mo? (Are you all right, your majesty? Can you hear me?)

The CloudRunner Queen was startled. Krystal!? Aj kxuk oei!? (Krystal!? Is that you!?)

(A bit cramped from being trapped in his cage for some time, but nothing too serious. He's still on Dragon Rock along with other hostages that we rescued, but with only one SpellStone left, it won't be much longer before you see him again.)

Nocc, A um khico whukovic veh ucc ev kxuk. Krystal, A'm tofodtadw ed oei udt Fox McCloud ke julo Sauria. Fcoujo boof vawxkadw veh ij ucc! (Well, I am truly grateful for all of that. Krystal, I'm depending on you and Fox McCloud to save Sauria. Please keep fighting for us all!)

No nacc, oeih muzojko. No ned'k cok oei tend. (We will, your majesty. We won't let you down.)

Krystal then ended her transmission to the CloudRunner Queen. Fox then said to her, "Well, Krystal, now that we have returned another SpellStone, Do you think we should look for another Krazoa Spirit?

Krystal then said, "Gimmie a second…" She meditated for a moment. She then picked up something. "I got it! There's a Krazoa Spirit back in SnowHorn Wastes. Shall we put on our thermal suits?"

"Sure. Why not?"
