My Daddy and Me.
On a high ledge I sit and watch.
I watch you in your true form.
You didn't want me to be afraid,
Of you in this form.
But as I watch you,
The more at home I feel.
You come over to me,
Expecting me to run away I guess.
But to your surprise I don't.
I sit there perfectly still.
When your within reach I reach my hand out,
And scratch the top of your head as I rest my cheek against your head.
You close you eyes,
And smile.
You nudge me with your nose,
And bark out something I don't understand.
Later, I ask you what you said.
You say you will tell me later.
Which means you will tell me when Jaken is not listening.
So I wait, for the little imp to go to sleep.
Once he is asleep, you come back.
I go to you,
And ask what you said,
You say, "I said, 'Rin, my pup, thank you. I love you."
I smile and you look at me and smile too.
I say, "I love you too Father and your welcome."
Then I head off to my own bed.
I know what we have is special,
My Daddy and me.
