Meet the Fairies.
"So, the guy who took down Mizuki was taken by a nine-tailed fox cub?" Asuma questioned his former subordinate Iruka, who recalled the event, leaving no detail out.
"Well….
(Flashback to Naruto's departure, two days ago)
"Well would you look at that, I managed to get through this battle with minimal property damage!" Naruto just laughed as Iruka's mouth was wide agape that Naruto this was only minimum destruction.
"YOU CALL THIS MINIMUMAL!?" Iruka pointed at the wrecked Love and Lucky building. Iruka then noticed the frail looking man over Naruto's shoulder. "Who's that guy?" Naruto then placed him down, with Iruka recognising receding hairline.
"MIZUKI!? Iruka's voice became high-pitched for a moment. "What the hell did you do to him!?" He demanded from Naruto, only for Naruto clean his ears, as Iruka's scream hurt his ears due to him shouting straight at his face.
"He turned into this tiger monster, his body couldn't handle it and he went berserk, so I beat him up and turned him back to normal." Naruto said it so nonchalantly that it just made Iruka fall in comedic fashion. "But don't worry, he'll live, though I doubt he'll fight ever again. Oh, and you might want to call somebody to tie up his buddies inside the guild, they should all be knocked out. That was one of the reasons I took this fight outside."
"Well, I did call Captain Asuma, so he and his squad of Rune Knights should be here soon since they aren't too far from town." Iruka saw that Naruto grew a little nervous at this. "Something wrong?"
"Fairy Tail hasn't got the best history with the Magical Council and their cronies." At that a metaphorical arrow pierced Iruka as Naruto unintentionally insulted Iruka for also being a former member of the Magical Council's forces.
"They're almost here idiot." A voice called out, with Naruto recognising it instantly and turned to see the same nine-tailed fox that witnessed Naruto's triumph earlier.
"Kurama! What are you doing here?" Naruto was surprised and then jumped to conclusions. "Don't tell me that you were worried and came to find me?" Naruto had tears of joy until Kurama snorted and broke his stupor.
"Like hell! Mira sent me to find you because you were missing for five days!" Kurama then began to glow and changed into a much bigger version of himself, roughly the size of a horse and his features more defined. Sharper canines, claws, a longer face and slim body. "Jump on before those Rune Knights catch you!" Naruto did so as Kurama moved in great speed, waving goodbye to Iruka.
(Flashback End)
"And they ran off before I could ask what was going on." Iruka felt that something was off with Asuma. Being a former member of Asuma's squad, he knew things about Asuma that not many would. "Is something wrong, Captain Asuma?"
"You don't have to call me that, I'm not your captain anymore. And what makes you think something's wrong?" Asuma just smiled as if it was normal, but Iruka figured out what he felt was wrong with Asuma.
"You're not smoking like usual. I've been around you long enough to that you only stop smoking when you're worried about something. Has something happened?" Iruka showed some concern but also realised who he was talking to. "I-I mean if it's personal, then please forgive me for prying."
"No, it's alright Iruka." Asuma sighed and took out a cigarette. "We just gained information from Mizuki. Turns out he's not your run-of-the-mil bandit." Asuma lit up the cigarette and blew smoke. "He met Orochimaru." At this Iruka stood up and possessed a face filled with pure horror.

"O-Orochimaru!" Iruka was hyperventilating and sweating heavily. 'Orochimaru, the Rogue Saint. Mizuki's been in contact with a monster like him!' Asuma calmed Iruka down and gave him a glass of water.
"Mizuki was given a potion that enhanced his body by Orochimaru, most likely Orochimaru wanted to Mizuki to test it for him. It worked, but only gave him a moderate strength boost." Asuma saw that Iruka was finally clam again and continued. "Mizuki has only met him once and hasn't seen him since. But he told us the location of where they met and I already informed the Magic Council." Asuma finished his cigarette and put it out. "We also unravelled more information that Mizuki was working with the Dark Guild, Eisenwald."

"Eisenwald? I'm not familiar with that Dark Guild. Is there any information about them in the old records?" Iruka decided to forget about Orochimaru, since Mizuki's interaction was minimal.
"They were a legal guild six years ago, but they took on assassination requests which were prohibited by the council. When they didn't listen to the council's warning to disband, they became a Dark Guild. Their master was arrested, and they've been keeping quiet until now." Asuma told him what he knew so far. "So, that kid you met was called Naruto, right?"
"Y-Yes sir!" Iruka had forgotten what they were originally talking about. "His full name was Naruto Uzumaki! He used water to defeat Mizuki and he called his magic Dragon Slayer Magic."
"So, the rumours about him are true then." Asuma just laughed a little and confused Iruka. "Iruka, he was the Swift Paladin." Now Iruka's jaw almost hit the floor after learning this information. 'And apparently one of his guild mates caused a stir the other day. The Salamander guy if I recall. My old man did say Fairy Tail was full interesting people. I can't wait to meet some of them face-to-face.'
(With Naruto and Kurama)
"Hey! Your falling asleep on me?" Kurama asked as Naruto yawned and then rested his head on Kurama's fur. Kurama, used four tails to hold Naruto in place. 'Rest up then, because I'll make you treat me to some meat after this.' Kurama just gave a small smile before looking forward again.
"Hmm ramen." Naruto whispered, unconsciously licking his lips, making Kurama sweat drop.
'He better not drool over my fur or I'm tossing him down a well.' Kurama's mood soured a little because of Naruto's idiotic comment.
(Unknown Forest)
"And don't even think about eating Happy!" A pink-haired youth that was of a similar build to Naruto but had pink spiky hair instead, wearing an open black sleeveless jacket with gold trimmings, sandals and white harem trousers. Next to him stood a busty blonde-haired girl, wearing an outfit that made her reminiscent of a cheerleader, complete with a white and blue colour scheme, her blonde hair styled into a side ponytail. Crying tears of joy was a blue cat with wings and a green bag. Next to the cat was a muscular black-haired man that was unconsciously stripping in front of the other occupants.
"Stop with the stripping already!" The only female of the group shouted at the black-haired man. "Seriously, what's the deal Gray?" She then comforted the blue by patting it on top of its the head. "It's okay Happy, you're safe little guy." The cat, named Happy, just stopped his blubbering and had devious look on his face.
"No thanks you, Lucy. Natsu and Gray did most of the work." At Happy's witty retort, Natsu and Gray had to stop a mad Lucy from strangling the blue cat's neck. During this, Gray had some thoughts on the people they just defeated.
'They all have Guild Marks on them and judging on how they fought us, they're most likely dark wizards. And that fortune teller guy, he mentioned me having trouble with water and women? What kind of fortune was that!?' When they all clamed Lucy down, Gray had another thought come to his head. 'I hope this guy didn't mean Erza!' Gray shook his head and they all made their way back to their guild.
(Oshibana Town)
"That Mizuki, he's gotten arrogant. Just because he turned himself into a tiger, he thinks he's tough enough to take on wizards like us!" A member that bore the same mark as the people Natsu's group defeated earlier.
"I wanted to see how strong he was in that form." A member wearing an Egyptian headpiece stated. "I mean if he looks like that now, then he must've gained power from it if that monster created the potion." His words made almost everyone shiver, as they all knew whom he was referring to.
"That does not mean it was guaranteed." A skinny figure with grey hair and marks appeared. He carried a scythe and had a scarf around his neck. "Even the Rogue Saint Orochimaru, despite being hailed as genius in his youth, can make mistakes."
"What do you mean by that Erigor? What you're saying doesn't make any sense?" Another member asked him, though he was also nervous talking about Orochimaru.
"Orochimaru was known for using humans as Guinea pigs for his experiments. That was all Mizuki was to him and even then, he abandoned Mizuki without so much as support. He must've realised that the potion he gave Mizuki was pointless." Erigor's words made sense to them now, but the one with the Egyptian headpiece had another question.
"Any word on Kageyama? Did he get Lullaby with our newest friend?" He was answered by another overweight member who held out a lacrima crystal ball.
"He's got the weapon, now well have to wait for his arrival and then those flies will know not to mess with Eisenwald!" They cheered viciously, only for the same person to realise something. "This friend, where did you find him?"
"Well, not a friend, an employee. A bodyguard for Kageyama until our mission is complete. And he's not a he, but a she. A member of the Dark Guild, Death's Head Caucus." Now everyone, except for Erigor who spoke just now, became slightly pale and silent.
"H-How did you even get someone from that guild to help us? And why would they even bother to help us?" The same person from before spoke, nervous as working with someone from Death's Head Caucus was a dangerous game.
"I made a deal with them. Don't forget, taking out legal guilds will give them more work too since no one will be in their way. Not that they would have much trouble, considering they have their own powerful members." 'And after all this, I'll be joining them, instead of working for the Oracion Seis.' Erigor then gave a dark smile. "Our newest ally is also a noteworthy one, for she's a member of Team Hawk and was once the disciple of Zabuza Momoichi!"
"WHAT?" Everyone was surprised, becoming just as pale when they heard Orochimaru's name. The only difference was that Mizuki was just a failed experiment and many of them did not believe his claim of being Orochimaru's possible subordinate.
"T-The Bloody Mist."
"Y-You're kidding me! Zabuza Momoichi had a disciple?" The one wearing an Egyptian headpiece asked, nervous to be working with a person that trained under someone who was given the name, 'The Bloody Mist', a title which Zabuza earned in his early years.
"I heard he was raised by demons."
"I heard he left whatever job he took that he left no survivors."
"That's nothing. I heard he was rivals with Devil Eye Kakashi." The last one was what everyone could agree on was perhaps one of Zabuza's more accomplished feats of strength.
"Devil Eye Kakashi!? One of the Ten Wizard Saints and the council's lapdog!?" Various members were now murmuring that having one of Zabuza's disciple would be beneficial to them, if Zabuza was indeed a rival to someone who is now a Wizard Saint, then his disciple must have power and skill to help them with their mission.
"You said his disciple was a woman? Is she cute?" Some of the men were imagining a beautiful woman but were silenced by Erigor, whom had some strong wind dancing around his body.
"She is not to be messed with." He stopped using his magic and spoke with a cold tone. "And I wouldn't recommend it, if you value your lives. Do you honestly think someone who was trained by the Bloody Mist will let you leave with your lives if you leer at her?" 'And I do not want my chances to join Death Head's Caucus ruined by you guys.' They all paled further and decided not to press their luck. They all decided to focus on the plan that will destroy their enemies.
(Back with Kurama and Naruto)
"Ah, home sweet guild!" Naruto was awake and stretched out his arms, standing on atop of a house and spotted his destination, a large building that towered over every building in the town and had the Fairy Tail emblem on it. Naruto had already taken off his ripped shirt and simply wore his sleeveless jacket over himself.
"It's home sweet home, idiot." Kurama was standing next to him and yawning.
"I know that! But the guild is my home! It's your home too!" Naruto was still enthusiastic and used the roof tops to make his way to Fairy Tail. During his way, he saw Natsu's group and decided to drop down in front of them.
"Kyahhhh! Weird blonde pervert!" Lucy almost kicked him if not for Naruto dodging to the side with his eyes wide.
"Hey! I'm not a pervert! I'm Naruto!" Naruto yelled back at her. "Natsu! Gray! And Happy too! Where did you meet this crazy blonde!"
"Oh, hey Naruto. How's it going man?" Natsu just asked him casually, with Naruto calming down and then both bumped fists with each other.
"Not bad, except for your friend almost kicking me." Naruto replied with the same tone. Happy interjected.
"Well you did jump out from nowhere in front of her and scared her, so you can't really blame her." Happy also pounded fists with Naruto and Gray soon afterwards.
"You have a point there my blue furry friend." Naruto just turned to Lucy and smiled whilst rubbing the back of his head. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you like that." Lucy then noticed his guild mark and bowed.
"I must apologise as well, I called you a pervert for no real reason. All you did was jump in front of me, so I presumed you were a predator." When Lucy called him a predator, Naruto just figuratively became a statue, with the other three males of Fairy Tail laughing at him.
"Gray, you shouldn't be laughing since you're already in your underwear." When Naruto said this, they all looked down, Gray was especially panicked and ran around to find his clothes.
"And you thought Naruto was the pervert." Kurama appeared out of nowhere and made everyone jump from fright, landing on their butts afterwards.
"Oh, hey it's Kurama!" Happy walked to the fox and extended his paw, with Kurama using one of his tails to shake Happy's paw.
"I-Is that a nine-tailed fox?" Lucy rubbed her eyes and then blinked at Kurama. Kurama turned to her with a stoic face.
"Nothing escapes you, does it blondie?" Kurama was sarcastic and had already annoyed Lucy.
"That's just Kurama, my partner. Don't mind him, he's just grumpy most of the time and acts like an ass." Naruto was next to Kurama, with said fox just growling at him for his remarks. "But he's a good fox at heart." Kurama stopped his growling at Naruto's statement and then noticed Gray returning with his clothes on this time.
"I never introduced myself! My name is Lucy and I just joined Fairy Tail a few days ago, so pleased to meet you." Lucy bowed with Naruto just laughing sheepishly and returning the gesture.
"So, Naruto, is she at the guild?" Gray asked nervously, with Natsu and Naruto instantly understanding whom Gray was referring to.
"She wasn't there before I fell into a barrel and got lost for five days." Naruto had unintentionally revealed what happened to him, but they males sighed in relief, making Lucy wonder who they were referring to.
"They can't even mention Erza's name." Happy whispered to Kurama, who nodded at this. Unfortunately, Natsu and Naruto heard this and looked at their partners with glares, which were promptly ignored by the creatures.
"Who are you guys talking about?" Lucy asked them with the three wizards looking at each other before Gray spoke.
"You haven't met her yet, but her name is Erza. Erza Scarlet." Gray waited for Lucy to explode in realisation and she didn't disappoint as she screamed enough for the whole town to seemingly hear her.
"WHAAAAATTTTTT!?" Lucy's scream was not surprising to the others as this was a reaction they were used to by now when Erza's name and reputation is involved. When she calmed down, she kept asking them with questions about Erza.
"Hey, come on now, you can ask us when we head back to the guild. I haven't seen everyone in a while and I'm hungry." Naruto interjected, with the other males agreeing, except Kurama, who was now taking a nap with a snot bubble coming out of his nose.
"Does he always do that?" Lucy pointed to Kurama with Naruto just nodding as if it was nothing new to him.
"He does it at random times, I even thought he died once only to discover he was only sleeping." Naruto just gave a glare to the sleeping fox before turning back to his usual upbeat self. "But like I said, he's nice when you get to know him."
'He's almost exactly like Natsu, I wonder what magic he uses? Would it be rude to ask him that? As a matter of fact, I don't know what magic Gray uses since I didn't see him fight those guys.' Lucy decided to ask. "Say, Naruto, what magic do you use? And what about you, Gray?" Naruto and Gray looked at each other, before nodding and Gray used his hands to show snowflakes, beautifully crafted.
"My magic is known as Ice Make, it's classed as Maker Magic. This let's me craft the ice into any shape I want and unlike regular Ice Magic, the shapes are more focused, more defined." Gray's magic really impressed Lucy, not just impressed, she was awed by it.
"And mine is Water Dragon Slayer Magic." Naruto breathed in and then released a twister of water that looked like it could cut anything in its path. Unlike with Gray, Lucy showed shock and slight terror.
'He's exactly like Natsu!' Lucy imagined Naruto causing the same amount of destruction as Natsu and even one scene where they both dressed up as demons, destroying large buildings.
(A few miles away from Magnolia Town)
A beautiful woman, wearing a blue skirt and knight's armour. She was holding a jewel-encrusted monster's horn over her shoulder. Her most prominent feature was her scarlet hair. This woman was none other than Erza Scarlet, and she was making her way back to Fairy Tail, determination showing on her face.
End. First of all, I would like to say I hope all my readers, their families, their friends, are all doing well. Coronavirus has changed how we are living right now, and I pray we all get through this. Stay safe everyone. I hope you enjoy this chapter, like I said I will make changes to the canon, some will have slight changes but I will diverge from canon a lot of times, one big change you will definitely notice.
Before anyone asks, but Wendy will still be paired with Naruto, but there will be a rival for Naruto's affections in this story. I won't say who, but you guys can guess, here's a hint, she's not a Fairy Tail character.
