~Henry's POV~

I sighed and groaned as I slammed another book shut. I heard Belle jump at my sudden outburst of frustration.

"No good answers, huh?" She asked, making me look at her and grin sheepishly.

"Sorry," I said. "But no, nothing about a kingdom on the moon and princess that is as elegant as the glowing orb."

"Don't worry, Henry. You'll find your answers soon," The bell rang on the door, making her look over and smile. "Ah, Hook, thank you. You can set those right there on the counter."

I turned to see my birth mom's boyfriend, Killian Jones, otherwise known as Captain Hook, standing by the door with a box in hand. He had set it on the counter for Belle.

"More books?" I asked as I walked over, getting Hook's attention. He grinned at me.

"Ah, Henry, what brings you here?" He asked.

"Just some research," I said.

"Donator's name?" Belle asked as she wrote down details on her clipboard.

"Didn't give on, love," Hook said. "She preferred to keep it a secret."

"Oh, I love anonymous donations," Belle sang, giggling as she went to grab the box when I stopped her. I reached into the box and pulled out a white leather bound book with a crescent moon etched into the fabric on the cover. The word 'Moonlight' was also etched into the leather casing.

"What is it, Henry?" Belle asked with wonder. I just stared at the book before opening the cover. The first page showed a picture of a man and woman silhouetted by the full moon, sharing a kiss.

"This book," I said. "Is it up for loan?" Belle smiled.

"It's yours if you want it," she said, making me smile back.

"Thanks, Belle," I said before grabbing my bag and leaving. Whoever owned this book sure had a good sense of when I needed help.

And boy, did I need help.

"You what?!" A voice screamed, making me stop and look at a pair of girls fighting by Granny's. One had her back to me and the hood was over her head, while the other was fuming.

She had golden hair and blue eyes that almost seemed to glow red with rage.

"I'm sorry, Bea. I didn't think you still needed them!" The other said.

"Well, that's the problem," the other, Bea, said. "You don't think! You always make a mess of everything!"

"Bea, please, not here."

"Yes here! I'm not letting you get away with this!" She then reached her arm back, ready to strike when...

"Hey!" I yelled as I stuffed the book in my bag and made my way over to them. "Whatever she did doesn't permit physical attack!"

"Stay out of this, brat!" Bea said with anger. "This doesn't concern you!"

"You're doing this is public. It does concern me," I said. "And I'm not brat! I'm the Mayor's son! So how would you like a visit from the Evil Queen!?"

She froze. Her anger melted away and was replaced with fear as she realized who she was talking to. I just smirked as I crossed my arms.

"So you know her?" I asked and she nodded. "Do you also know I'm the son of the Savior as well?" She nodded again. "Good. Now leave this girl alone."

She grumbled as she stormed off. "Sera, let's go!" She called making me look at the other girl with wonder...and froze.

Her flawless face, her perfect button nose, and her almond-shaped blue eyes sent a shiver to my core. And when she looked at me, smiling that perfect smile, I couldn't help but smile back.

"Thank you," She said. "Though, I don't think that's the end of the argument with her."

"I'll warn my savior mom and she'll keep an eye on you. She's the Sheriff as well."

"Thanks, but I'll be fine," She said. "I'll see you around." And with that, she ran off after who I guess was her twin sister. They looked a lot alike, but the girl in the hoodie was a whole lot more beautiful like a rose.

"Sera," I whispered. "Nice name." And then I walked away.

I was still going to warn my birth mom about this. She'll know to help.
