~Henry's POV~

I sat in my grandparents' loft, a glass of ice tea beside me and the new book in my lap. This was it. This had to give me answers. This had to help ease the pressure of this mystery that I couldn't help but want to solve. And even if it didn't provide answers, then hopefully it's a good read.

I took deep breath and then opened the book up again. I started reading, seeing drawn photos of a different scenes and characters, almost like my storybook.

'Long ago, in the Enchanted Forest-'

Wait...Enchanted Forest? If this takes place in the Enchanted Forest, then this should have been in my storybook.

I kept reading.

'-before it was enchanted-' That explains it. '-there lived a mighty kingdom, two to be exact. One kingdom held honor and love, the other...disdain and horror. The two kingdoms were at war and every time it was thought that one side was winning, the other advanced.'

'But King Samuel of the honorable kingdom had hope that one day they'd be free of this war and be able to rule in peace once more. Especially with his only son getting to the age of rule.'

'One day, Prince Harold, son of King Samuel, was at he pond behind his castle and made a wish on the moon for guidance and wisdom on how to stop this war for his father. He had never fought before and therefore didn't know what he was going to get into come time.'

'Thinking his wish went unheard, he went to leave, stopping as the voice of a lovely maiden echoed to him.'

I turned the page and stared at the painted photo of a man, though it was just his left shoulder as we were looking at a woman in the pond. I read the passage after that.

'She spoke with kindness and honor, and even offered her name to gain trust. Princess S-'

"Henry, I have to get to the hospital," My birth mom said as she was throwing on her jacket. I looked at her confused. Was she hurt?

"Why? What's wrong?" I asked.

"Attempted murder victim is in the ICU," I stared in shock. We've never had any murders in Storybrooke before. This was new.

"Your grandfather has the suspect in custody already, so she shouldn't be a problem," Mom said, making me freeze in surprise.

She...oh, God...

"May I come? I've never seen you question someone before," I asked, fear entering my heart as I put a bookmark in my book and slapped it shut.

"Sure, come on," She said, making me grab my bag and stuff the book in it as we headed out the door.

We arrived at the hospital in time for Dr. Wylde to say that the victim was in recovery and that she would live.

"How did she look when she came in?" Mom asked. "And how did my dad stumble upon this?"

"He witnessed an argument with two girls and decided to keep an eye on them," Dr. Wylde said. "Something didn't sit right with him about the golden-haired one."

Golden hair...I knew it.

"Did you get a name for the victim?" Mom asked, getting a nod from Dr. Wylde.

"Sera Holt."
