"Here we are, home sweet home." Hinata whispered to herself. She was clearly nervous as the group stood in front of the Hyuuga Mansion gates. Wendy gently placed her hand on Hinata's shoulder and smiled at her.

"It's okay, you're not alone. We'll be right here with you." She said to comfort Hinata, who smiled in appreciation. They entered the mansion where Hiashi Hyuuga himself stood in front of them with a box placed on a table next to him.

"I see you that you managed to retrieve my daughter. Your reward money is in the box, please take and leave whilst I talk with my daughter about her punishment." Hiashi eyed Hinata, who flinched from his stern gaze. Naruto sensed the tension and stood between them.

"Sorry, we ain't going nowhere and Hinata has something to say to you. Once she tells you, we'll be out of your hair." Naruto was not backing down and whilst usually Hiashi would argue back, Naruto's eyes showed such intensity that he took a step back.

"V-Very well. Hinata you may speak." Hiashi composed himself quickly and waited for his daughter to speak. Naruto relaxed himself after hearing these words.

"F-Father…..I don't want to…I mean…" She flinched as her father had already lost his patience.

"Cease that useless stuttering! Now, speak up or I wi…." Hiashi was prevented from making his threat as Naruto glared at him again, with the others joining him in glaring at the older man, even the usually gentle Wendy was angry. Naruto then moved closer to Hinata.

"It's okay Hinata, just let it all out, both your anger and frustration. If you don't do it now, you'll forever be controlled by him." Naruto whispered to the young woman, who gulped and quietly thanked him.

"Father, I refuse to marry the man you want me to!" Hinata yelled at Hiashi, the father of said girl not expecting this from her, showing shock in his face.

"W-What are you ta…." Hiashi was talked over by his own daughter, who began to vent out all the frustration and anger she had throughout the years.

"Ever since mother passed away, I did everything I could to make you happy. I took those piano lessons, I wore those horrible dresses, I studied to the point of exhaustion, and I acted like a proper 'Lady'." Hinata said the word 'Lady' in disgust.

"But those lessons were important. If you were to marry that nobleman's son, you would bring the Hyuuga family honour, and you would be taken care of for the rest of your life. I may have been….a little harsh but it was for your own good." Hiashi tried to justify his actions and was met with a glare from his own daughter. 'Those eyes, I have never seen that look before, not from her.' Hiashi did not like that look from his daughter, it showed defiance.

"What you did was not for my own good. All you did was try to make me your obedient little slave. But my new friends have given me the support I need to say what I need to. Hiashi Hyuuga, I, Hinata Hyuuga, hereby disown myself from the Hyuuga family." Instead of rage, Hiashi showed great shock. He was speechless and before he had a chance to speak, Hinata spoke once more. "From here on, I will simply be known as Hinata and nothing more. I thank you for the little you have done for me, but from now on I will live my life as I see fit." Hinata bowed one last time. "I wish you success in your future endeavours, goodbye Hiashi Hyuuga." Hinata turned around made her way out, followed by the others, except Naruto.

"I hope all the stuff you did to her was worth lose your daughter over." Naruto then sighed and then slowly walked towards Hinata's now disowned father. He then grabbed Hiashi's collar and brought him closer to himself, with Hiashi's expression being that of fear. "You ever go after Hinata again and endanger anyone from Fairy Tail and Wendy and her guild, the damage my friend Natsu did to you little mansion will be nothing when I'm through with you." When Naruto said his threat, Hiashi could have sworn he saw the blonde's eyes briefly slit. Naruto dropped the older man and left.

'What have I done?' Hiashi slowly lifted himself up and went back to work, his eyes no longer the same, showing great sadness from his past actions.

Back with Naruto, he saw the others waiting for him, though Kurama was still sleeping

"What kept you?" Carla asked the blonde, who rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.

"Just had to tell Hinata's old man something. Come on, let's get out of here, this place is pissing me off." Naruto told them his honest thoughts, with even the soft-spoken members agreeing with him, though they would have worded it differently compared to Naruto's more colourful approach. They all walked away from the mansion, with Hinata looking back one last time.

"So, where will you go now?" Wendy asked the now liberated Hinata, who was uncertain of what to do.

"I don't know. I mean I could join a guild, but I don't know if my magic is good enough." Hinata revealed to them that she knew magic, but not what it was.

"How did you learn magic? I doubt your father would teach you and he didn't give the impression of being a wizard. Then again, you didn't give that impression either" Carla had looked at the young girl accusingly, who avoided the white cat's gaze.

"Carla! That's rude! I apologise for her behaviour Hinata!" Wendy bowed and apologised on Carla's behalf.

"N-No it's alright! I haven't known you for too long and Carla does have point. I did hide the fact that I know magic." Hinata breathed in deeply and then let it all out. "You are right Carla. I did not learn magic from my father, but I found it from an old scroll from our library. It's a type of magic which involves the eyes, this magic that was used by my ancestors. Overusing it caused a genetic defect which made our eyes look like they do now, but no one has used this magic in my family for a long time. Until me that is." Hinata showed what she meant by focusing, the area around her eyes pulsated and veins became visible. Her pure lavender eyes became pure white and showed hues of her pupils. "This magic is known as White Gaze."

"White Gaze? I can see why. What does your magic actually do?" Carla stared at Hinata, who began to explain.

"White Gaze allows me to see through most solid objects and I see the amount of magical power a wizard possesses. White Gaze has no real application for combat but can be used for medical and tracking purposes." Hinata explained the benefits of White Gaze as well as some disadvantages.

"So, basically, your magic makes you a pervert?" Naruto questioned, understanding the basic abilities of Hinata's magic. This made the eyes of the females of the group comically widen as Kurama laughed. Kurama had woken up when Hinata began to explain White Gaze.

"W-What….I-I mean technically I can see through clothes but not if they're wearing u-underwear! Also, apart from the magic, everything usually appears colourless to me!" Hinata's face turned red, as did Wendy's with Carla looking incredulously at the blonde for saying this.

"I didn't say anything about underwear, I just asked if you were a pervert. I mean I don't think you would Hinata, but I know a lot of people who would love to see through walls or clothes like that even if you can't see in colour." Naruto had an annoyed face as he knew at least a couple of Fairy Tail wizards.

"He's not wrong you know." Carla reluctantly agreed. "Your White Gaze could be a pervert's dream come true, especially if the unlucky lady is not wearing any underwear. But why would you say something like that you blonde idiot?" Carla glared at the blonde.

"Well, I just wanted to mess you with you all." Naruto grinned as they all had incredulous looks apart from Kurama, who sighed.

"You know one day your pranks and jokes will lead you to your death." Kurama told Naruto who just chuckled, with Wendy and Hinata also chuckling, though nervously on their part and Carla just glared at Naruto.

"So, what are you going to do now Hinata? I mean do you even have an idea what you're going to do now that you officially left your dad's place?" Naruto asked said girl, who just realised the gravity of her situation.

"I never thought about that!" Hinata exclaimed and placed her hands on the sides of her head. Whilst she ran from home, all she focused on was avoiding her father but now she had no idea what to do.

"Well, here's an idea. Join Fairy Tail." Naruto told her with a smile, surprising Hinata and Wendy, but not Carla or Kurama.

"Your guild would accept me just like that?" Hinata did not think it would that simple as whilst she heard about the destruction they caused, the Fairy Tail guild is considered the strongest guild in Fiore and perhaps the entire continent of Ishgar, so she thought that they would have high standards.

"Sure, I mean Gramps said everyone is welcome. That's what makes Fairy Tail fun, we have all sorts of fun people! Come on! You can come with me on all sorts of quests and take on strong monsters!" Naruto told Hinata with a large smile on his face.

'M-Monsters!' Hinata imagined a large creature chasing her and then it changed into to her being tied up and tossed into a cooking pot as the monster rubbed its belly. "I-I don't think I can handle those types of quests." Hinata told him honestly.

"Damn! Ah well, you did say you can't use magic to fight yet! We can still have fun at the guild hall and I'm sure Mira won't mind some help at the bar if you that's what you want to do." Naruto told her with another smile on his face. "Oh yeah! You should come and visit too Wendy, you did mention that you would like to meet Erza." 'Though I don't understand why?'

"Really!?" Wendy sounded like a child in a candy store, excited at the thought of going to Fairy Tail and meeting her idols, Erza and Mirajane. "Can we go? Please Carla!" Wendy turned to her feline companion. Carla didn't want to go but one look at Wendy's eyes melted even her icy heart.

"Fine! But we after that we head back to our guild. Am I understood?" Carla was answered by a hug from Wendy, which caused the white furred feline to smile.

"Great! Then it's settled, we're all heading to Magnolia Town!" Naruto pointed onwards with a grin.

(Fairy Tail Guild)

"She knocked him out so quickly!" Lucy spoke her thoughts out loud as Erza had just defeated Natsu with a single blow to the gut. The rest of Fairy Tail weren't surprised by this, as Natsu usually lost to Erza quite easily.

"Well, Natsu did cause Erza to end up in a cell. Though I guess he was punished enough since he did have to deal with her all night." Gray whispered to Lucy, who had to nod, knowing how eccentric Erza could be.

"That's our Natsu, always doing something reckless." Mira commented and had her usual smile on her face. She then noticed Makarov rubbing his eyes and was about to comment until she felt drowsy herself, until sleep instantly took over and fell. All the other followed suit, with the exception of Makarov and Erza. Erza, however, had one of her hands holding the table, her hair covering her entire face, she then lost herself to sleep at last.

"So, you've finally come back, Mystogan." Makarov spoke to the masked figure that just arrived through the large doors. He wore a dark blue cloak with bandages covering his arms and legs. He completely covered the bottom half of his face and wore a bandana with a silver forehead protector. He also held a staff in his left hand.

"It is good to see you again Master. I won't be too long as I'm simply here for another job." Mystogan acknowledged Makarov before going to the job board and picking up a dangerous job. "I will be off now."

"Wait, lift the spell before you go." Makarov said tiredly, the sleeping spell still affecting him. Mystogan counted from five and left the guild hall. Soon, most of the members woke up almost instantly, except for Natsu, who took some time since he was already knocked out by Erza earlier.

"W-What happened?" Lucy exclaimed a moment later, with Natsu waking up and yawned as soon as she said that. Gray explained that it was a member of their guild known as Mystogan who caused this. He explained that Mystogan is an S-Class wizard and whenever he visits, he places a powerful sleeping spell for some reason.

"What did I miss?" Natsu finally woke up and was told by Happy that Mystogan was here. "Dammit! I missed him again!" Natsu cursed out loud. As this happened, Gray explained to Lucy on how Mystogan was one of the strongest members of the guild, though the title of the strongest has been debated in recent times.

"So, no one has seen what Mystogan looks like apart from the Master? I guess that's why he's named Mystogan then." Lucy admitted that the name fit, ridiculous as it sounds. She then heard a laugh.

"Well, the old man isn't the only one who's seen him." A voice called out over to them, making them all turn towards the top floor. There stood large a spiky-haired blonde male with a lightning-shaped scar over his right eye, though he could still see through said eye.

"Laxus! When did you get back?" Erza stood up and stared at the new arrival.

"And here's another contender for the strongest, be careful around him Lucy. He has no problem in attacking anyone who pisses him off." Gray warned the blonde girl, who looked a little fearful at the prospect of this.

"Laxus! Let's fight!" Natsu exclaimed and regained his vigour, only for Laxus to insult him and Erza.

"You just got knocked down by Erza in one shot, if you can't even beat her then you stand no chance against me!" Laxus insulted him as well as Erza, making the latter angry at this, though the red-haired woman, with Gray holding her back. "But if you want a fight, then why don't you come up here and I'll show you why you're no match for me." Natsu became angry and leaped up, trying to go for the top, only to be stopped by Makarov who enlarged his hand and slammed him through a table.

"You aren't ready for the top floor! Not yet, Natsu." Makarov told the Dragon Slayer, taking a sip of his booze. "And you better stop antagonizing everyone Laxus. If that's all you want to do, the I suggest you pick up a job and get lost. I don't have time for your foolishness." Makarov was completely serious.

"Whatever old geezer. I'll keep my mouth shut for now, but I have one message for everyone in this room. Now, I've been hearing all of you talk about who's the strongest in the guild and I don't appreciate that nonsense." Laxus started and then smirked at everyone. "I am the strongest in all of Fairy Tail! Not Erza, not Mystogan and not some old geezer who rarely shows up. Remember that!" Laxus turned his back to the others, only making those at the lower ground angry.

Later, Lucy enquired why Makarov had stopped Natsu from reaching the top floor. Mirajane explained that the top floor contained the most dangerous requests, only those who were classed as S-Class wizards may take them. She mentioned that Laxus was one of the few S-Class wizards and he had defeated Natsu in the past with little effort, even Erza could not defeat him. The two did not notice a certain blue cat sneak into the top floor and take an S-Class quest, but Laxus did and smirked to himself.

(The next day)

"Master! I don't know what's happened, but one of the S-Class quests is missing!" Mira ran downstairs and told Makarov, who calmly drank his coffee but then spit it back out from hearing the news.

(Magical Council Headquarters)

"So, Gato was captured and with his confession, they managed to discover Minister Roman's involvement and now he's rotting in jail." Councilman Seigrain, a handsome blue-haired man with red markings on the right side of his face spoke. Next to him a beautiful and voluptuous woman with dark-coloured hair. This is Ultear Milkovich, a member of the Magical Council like Jellal.

"It was bound to happen, though it has nothing to do with us. But there is a coincidence, a Fairy Tail wizard was involved. Speaking of which, how was your private conversation with Erza Scarlet?" Ultear smirked at him, which Seigrain returned.

"Let's just say that everything is going according to plan. Didn't expect Salamander to barge in that day though. Shouldn't you get going?" Seigrain asked her, with Ultear remembering her current objective.

"Ah yes, Galuna Island. Well, I shall see you later, Seigrain, I have a job to do." Ultear bowed briefly and disappeared from Seigrain's sight.

'You're a crafty one Ultear. But don't think I'll allow you to do what you want." Seigrain chuckled to himself.

End. Sorry about the long delay, hopefully next chapter will have more words, but I wanted to post it now since I'm covering for my brother's delivery job tonight. I will begin to deviate from canon soon and once again, for those who don't want Hinata to end up with Naruto in this story, this is not a Naruhina, but that doesn't mean Hinata can't fall in love with him, like normal.

The reason why Hinata won't have her usual Hyuuga abilities is because there are no chakra points in Fairy Tail's magic system, so it didn't make sense to me.
