Sky Dragon's Roar

"Now watch me and see how I roar." Naruto took them to another area of the forest and is facing a small mountain. "First you inhale and build up your element in your mouth." Naruto breathed as water formed from his mouth and he released a large tornado of water. It tore through the mountain and destroyed a large chunk of it. "Then you release it. In time, you can control the direction and the amount of power you put in."

"H-He destroyed the mountain!?" Hinata was completely shocked at the power and stated her comment out loud. As everyone's mouth was agape at what Naruto did, Kurama yawned as he knew what Naruto was capable of.

"He wasn't even going all out, he could completely eradicate that mountain and the one behind it too." Kurama casually told them, surprising them further. "And that's nothing compared to the guild's strongest. He can destroy that mountain with his pinkie." Kurama was referring to Fairy Tail's strongest wizard, Gildarts Clive.

"W-With h-his pinkie!?" The others reacted with their mouths open and even wider eyes. Naruto just laughed.

"Yeah, that right! Gildarts is our strongest wizard, so mountains are nothing to him. His magic is so powerful too." Naruto told them with confidence. "Hinata, you need to practice some spells too. Hey Kurama, help her out, I'll help Wendy since we use the same type of magic."

"Fine, but just this once." Kurama grumbled and motioned for Hinata to follow him. Hinata also sighed in relief that she did not have to learn hand-to-hand combat with Naruto. "Don't get too relaxed, Naruto will still teach you how to fight just like Wendy. He just let you rest but let me tell you this, I will not let your rest until you use one offensive spell before the day ends." Now Hinata was scared as now she was worried that she would die of over exhaustion from Kurama's training, having tears forming around her eyes and looking at Wendy, who felt sorry for her. "Come on, the sooner you start, the sooner I can sleep peacefully." One of Kurama's tails extended and wrapped itself around Hinata, dragging her towards her own separate training grounds.

"I think I'll follow them. Now that I can see that this ruffian has some manners, I'll make sure that the fox isn't too rough on your new friend Wendy." Carla told her partner, having some trust in Naruto this time. Wendy was happy at hearing this, but Naruto just had an annoyed look. Carla flew after the fox and girl.

"Uhhhh….Will Hinata be all right?" Wendy asked the blonde who shrugged.

"Don't worry, Kurama may seem rough around the edges but he's big softy. But avoid making him angry, he's a real demon when he's mad." Naruto emphasised the word demon, which actually had a deeper meaning to it, something Wendy would find out later.

"Now, let's get started Wendy. If you manage to use your roar, I'll teach you other spells that you can use with your own element." When Naruto said that, Wendy nodded and felt more confident in herself. She now faced the mountain and recalled what Naruto told her and not just Naruto, she also recalled what Grandine told her about her magic.

"Remember Wendy, your roar has to come from the heart. If you lack the will to use it, then it is pointless."

'I remember, mom taught me how to perform the Sky Dragon's Roar when I was a child, but I was never able to put my heart into it.' Wendy closed eyes as the wind began to dance around her.

'Whoa! For someone who never uses attack spells, she can sure gather a large amount of magic power already.' Naruto can tell that Wendy has a large amount of magic within her body.

"Sky Dragon's Roar!" Wendy unleashed a large tornado from her mouth, and it hit a smaller mountain. The top of the mountain was destroyed and while it was not as powerful as Naruto's earlier demonstration, it still did a considerable amount of damage, destroying the tip of the mountain.

'This must be the first time she's used her Sky Dragon's Roar. Not bad for her first time.' Naruto looked at Wendy, who breathed heavily afterwards and was about to fall. Naruto caught her and smiled.

(OST End)

"You okay there?" When he asked her, she regained her composure and smiled, standing on her own once more.

"Yes, thank you. Just a little dizzy, but it was my first-time using Sky Dragon's Roar. I remembered my mother showing me it when I was a child, but I never used it before. Thank you for helping me and for teaching me how to fight." Wendy bowed, despite being tired. She was still tired from sparring with Naruto earlier, which Naruto noticed as the Sky Maiden was still breathing lowly.

"You're a bad liar. Our spar made you tired and you used a lot of your strength in that roar. But I gotta say, you nailed it on your first try!" Naruto praised her, giving her a thumbs up. Wendy blushed at the praise and smiled back, only to fall unconscious. Naruto caught her again and sighed but retained his smile. 'We only just started, but I guess I can let her take it easy. That and I better make sure Kurama doesn't go too far training Hinata.' Naruto carried Wendy in his arms, gently walking towards Kurama's location, making sure Wendy has her rest too. 'S-She's cute!' Naruto blushed a little when he looked at Wendy's sleeping face but shook his head and regained his focus.

After today's training session, Wendy and Carla would need to head back to Cait Shelter and say goodbye to their new friends. Naruto noticed that Wendy snuggled further into his body, her smile widening at the warmth Naruto gave her. Naruto retained a small blush, but he also felt his heart racing slightly.

'What's this feeling? I only met her a few days ago, but I feel safe around her.' Naruto did not realise that slowly and surely, he was gaining feelings for Wendy and it would be the same for her.

(With Kurama's group)

"Air Palm!" Hinata shot her open palm forward, which had a small sphere of compressed air that released a small shockwave. However, instead of hitting anything, Hinata's shockwave only released a small amount of air and made her skid back a little.

"You're not pouring enough magic into it and your hesitation is messing up where you direct the attack, that's why it sent you back just now. Right now, your body cannot contain the compressed air for too long. Do not overthink it and learn to feel the power. Once you learn to do that, you can use the spell naturally afterwards." Kurama advised the young woman, who was already breathing heavily. 'Maybe putting her in a life-or-death situation will bring out her potential? No, I don't think I can do that to someone who has never been a real fight and she is now a member of Fairy Tail too. Naruto sure, but he's tough and he has experience with fighting.'

"R-Right!" Hinata kept practicing, but she could not stop her hesitation, which lead to several repeated attempts, with the most recent one blasting her back much further. Kurama sighed but he also saw how hard the girl was trying. Carla also witnessed this and kept her thoughts to herself.

"Hold it!" He told her as he figured that another approach was required. "I have another idea. But first, how did it go with Wendy, Naruto?" Kurama heard Naruto's footsteps, as they all turned to see Naruto holding Wendy bridal style. Hinata's face went red, with steam coming out of her ears and Carla's mouth was wide open at the sight.

"She did the roar on her first try and totalled the rest of the mountain. Turns out she was told about the Dragon's Roar but never used it before today." Naruto told them, making Hinata's face turn normal in surprise and Carla's mouth closing, showing some pride in Wendy's achievement. Naruto felt Wendy stir and gently placed her on the ground as she slowly woke up.

"Hmmm…..What happened?" Wendy got up and rubbed her head. She saw everyone look at her. "W-What's wrong?"

"Nothing, you just woke up. Nice job on the roar by the way. You broke the rest of the mountain." Naruto smiled as Wendy remembered what happened before she passed out.

"Thank you for your help, Naruto. Because of you, I know I can get stronger." Wendy smiled at him. They were then interrupted by Kurama fake coughing.

"Now, if you two are done. I want to explain to Hinata on how she could use her Air Palm spell effectively." Kurama told them as if he speaking to children. Naruto and Wendy both laughed a little nervously before paying attention. "Now Hinata, imagine that tree is your father." He shocked Hinata by saying but elaborated further. "You yourself hated what your father had done to you. Of course, anger can cloud a person's judgement, but it can also be used as motivation."

"B-But I-I can't d-do that!" Hinata may have hated how her father treated her and could barely consider the man a father in the first place, she could not even pretend that a tree was her father to attack.

"Hinata, it is unhealthy to hold everything in. that is why you left your old life behind. This is just an outlet for your anger, and it will help you use your magic. Besides, your father deserved a punch." Kurama told her honestly, something everyone else agreed on, even the gentle Wendy did not like him.

"O-Okay….I'll try." Hinata looked at the tree and focused. She recalled all the emotional turmoil she suffered at the hands of her father felt enraged. This time she poured a lot more magic and began to hear her father's discouraging words.

"Leave me, useless child!"

"Hinata! I'm busy, stop pestering me!"

"Sometimes I wish why you were born!"

"Air Palm!" Hinata sent a shockwave which hit the tree and broke it in half. Her face showed her frustration, which became one of relief as she panted heavily and then fell.

"Hinata!" Wendy was already her side and checked up on her. "She's okay, she's just exhausted and she used up a lot of magic. She'll need some rest." Wendy herself was tired, but she was too kind to think of herself and would rather check on her friend.

"Well, that was a few hours well spent." Kurama yawned out. "Anyways, don't you two have to get back to your guild? Your Master may be worried." Both Wendy and Carla realised that they forgot to tell their Guild Master may be worried about them.

"Well, I guess this has been fun. Looks like we'll have to make our way back sooner than we expected. I hope you enjoyed your visit here Wendy, but I think we wasted enough time here." Carla told her, however, she saw that Wendy was still looked tired and she did not want to go yet. "Oh, all right, one more night and we head back tomorrow." Wendy smiled brightened up after hearing this and hugged Carla.

"Better get cleaned up then. And maybe get some spare clothes since yours are little torn up." Naruto told Wendy, whose dress indeed had a few small rips, nothing revealing, and was dirty as well as smelly due to the sweat she worked up.

"Not to worry, I brought some spare clothes and nightwear with me since I did not know how long the job was supposed to take." Wendy replied.

"You think of everything. Then let's go! Afterwards we can eat!" Naruto worked up an appetite for himself. Kurama also thought that food would be good for them as he wanted to eat meat.

(Unknown Dungeon)

"Ugh….!" Asuma slowly opened his eyes and groaned to himself. "W-What?" Asuma was confused to find himself in cell, but also bandaged up. 'Why am I in dungeon? Did Kimimaro leave me alive just to torture me? But then why would he bandage me up? More importantly, where's Kurenai!?' The last one was the most important to him, but he did not have to wait that long for answers.

"If you're worried about your friends, please rest assured that they are alive and well." Siegrain, or rather Jellal, appeared from the stairs.

"L-Lord Siegrain! What are you doing here?" Asuma was confused to see one of the council members here in this dungeon. "Wait? Better yet why am I here?" Asuma then realised the possibility that the councilmen in front of him hired Kimimaro.

"Come now, I do not think that you are this oblivious.

"So, it's true. You sent that monster against us. But why? And where is Kurenai!?" Asuma got angry asked for his lover's location.

"Relax Asuma. Kimimaro left her and your other squad members alone as per my orders. Without you, your squad is no threat. You are the one who will interfere with our plans the most. Second only to Kakashi Hatake." Jellal admitted to the heavy smoker. "Though Kakashi is currently preoccupied, so he is a non-issue for our plans. But you're one of the council's top officers and I could not risk you meeting with Naruto Uzumaki."

"Figures. Another corrupt official, Anko just reported one and now you reveal himself. But why him? Were you involved with the incident at Acalypha Town?" Asuma knew it was a possibility, as Jellal would have the connections to pull off such events.

"No, at least not completely. That incident with your former subordinate was not my doing. That was simply the work of someone who grew careless. No, Naruto Uzumaki is an important piece on the board and you meeting him would mess up my plans." Jellal waited for his reaction.

"All right then, maybe you want to explain to me what those plans are? And what do you mean by not completely?" Asuma glared at him, he did not believe Jellal's words and knew he may not get answers. That and he did not believe that Jellal would leave Kurenai and his squad alone.

"I can't tell you my plans, but I can tell you that the fake Shadow Stone did belong to me at one point." Before Asuma could demand further answers from Jellal, the younger man continued. "It was supposed to be used for an experiment, but Minister Roman managed to find it and steal, but apparently he managed to lose, thus allowing your former subordinate to find it. Of course, to you it might not make a difference to you since I know that you do not believe me."

"You sent an assassin after me, who took out my squad and brought me here to your dungeon. Forgive me if I don't trust you." 'Not to mention you've always been shady to me.' Asuma's glare did not leave his face

"Fair enough. But know once again, your lover and your friends are fine. I only need you out of the picture for a little while, then you're free to do what you wish." Jellal told him in a calm and collected tone.

"Like I believe that. Someone will discover your plans and stop you, then you'll be the one to rot in a dungeon." Asuma always thought Siegrain was too smug for his own good.

"You may believe what you want. However, by the time this is over, there will be no council. You may believe I am the corrupt one, but this council has made a lot of mistakes over the years. And let's not forget that Orochimaru was your father's student, it was your father's failure which caused a lot of innocent people to suffer because his sentimentality allowed Orochimaru to escape."

"Orochimaru was sick and twisted from the beginning! My father did all he could to stop him, but that snake managed to escape! And yeah, the council members may not be the best of people, but because of them, peace and order are established in our land." Asuma knew that there were less than honourable members in the Magical Council, but he chose to believe in the system for now.

"True, they have brought peace to Ishgar, but they are incompetent and allowed wizards such as Erza Scarlet to be used as scapegoats. They hate a guild like Fairy Tail because they fear what they cannot control. A council like this isn't needed because they act when it is too late. I should know because I am a member of it and seen their follies in person." Jellal had some valid points and there were dark secrets the council held which not even their own forces knew about.

"You may have some valid points. Even I followed their orders, I know that better than anybody. But whatever you have planned, I know it won't be good." Asuma brought his glaring face closer to the cell bars. "If I was out of this cell, you won't be smirking."

"Even if you were out of this cell…" Jellal let his magic flow around his body and made even Asuma sweat in fear. "I have already surpassed you." Jellal stopped his magic from flowing. "And you might as well know, my real name is not Siegrain. It's Jellal." He shocked Asuma, who began to put the pieces together and whilst this revelation was racing through his mind, Jellal left him alone for now.

'D-Did Jellal take Siegrain's place? I heard they were supposed to be brothers, but when did he take his place? And that power…..I almost forgot that he's a Wizard Saint. He's already on par with Kakashi!? And he's only a decade younger than him!'

End. Sorry for the delay again, would have done it a while back, but I never get free time as much as I like because I am always sent on errands and whenever I get the time again, I lose my ideas.

Now, having a corrupt Magical Council is not out of the realm of possibility. Most of them still value life and will only use weapons like Etherion as last results. This was seen in the anime during the Tower of Heaven Arc, though they would still be willing to use less than pure methods. Anyone who has watched Fairy Tail know the truth about Jellal and Siegrain.

If the final paragraphs seem off, I had to re-edit them.

Also, watch The Batman! Saw it today and loved it. But don't expect the usual type of superhero film. It is rated 15 in the UK and isn't the MCU-type and it doesn't need to be, it does a lot different to previous iteration of the character and many have put it on par to The Dark Knight. Now I need to rewatch the Batman films and get the Blu-ray for The Batman when it comes out. DC is finally doing it's own thing and it is good to be a fan. Of course, everyone's opinion is different, but I found this one of the best Batman portrayals and one of the most humane.
