Chapter 16 – Modification of the CRA & the Search for Tsunade Begins

It was now two days after the invasion and things had calmed down considerably. Fu had yet to get her Naru-kun sexy time, but considering how busy everyone was, that was actually to be expected. In a similar circumstance, Ino had yet to find an opportunity to talk with Sean. So with two disappointed young women, Sean and Naruto found themselves worrying about what would happen when Ino and Fu finally got them alone. Sean because he knew about Ino's temper and wondered just how upset she'd be when she finally got to speak with him, and Naruto because he knew if Fu had to wait much longer, she might go crazy and jump him in public!

Thankfully, the repairs had been coming along quite nicely. The Sandaime had been forced to rest after his battle with Orochimaru and thus hadn't done too much work of late. Despite Sean's protests, he had been forced to clean up the messes he had made throughout the city. It actually took him quite some time to find all the chunks of enemy ninja that he had ended up scattering throughout the city. It was actually so bad that when a couple of civilian children found and picked up a couple eyeballs, only for their parents to scream out, slap the eyeballs out of their hands, and shove them inside their homes. This had actually resulted in many civilians locking themselves and their families inside until Sean had finished cleaning his mess. Needless to say, the Wind God was harassed by not only a group of civilians, but by some of the ninja of the village as well, simply because he went a little overboard.

Most of the Konoha genin that had participated in the Chunin Exams had actually gotten together the day after the invasion to discuss everything that had taken place and to talk about what they had done during the invasion. It seemed that most of them had done as Hinata, Shikamaru, Ino, and Lee had done and worked on escorting the civilians to safety. A few of them had remained in the stadium and fought alongside the Konoha ninja defending the civilians there.

However, none of this mattered at this current moment in time. Naruto had been summoned to stand before the Council once again, and he was certain he knew what it was for. So, pushing open the doors to the Council chambers, the young blonde looked around and found himself frowning. Sean looked stressed out and the Sandaime looked completely exhausted. It didn't help that Hiashi Hyuga was glaring daggers at the boy while shooting the occasional sideways glance at Sean Uzumaki. It seemed that this was going to be one hectic Council meeting…

As Naruto stepped into the center of the room, Hiruzen looked at him and frowned. "Hello Naruto-kun. How have you been?"

Naruto Uzumaki smiled up at his jiji and shrugged. "Okay, I guess. I've been trying to help clean up the village, and I've been using my Kage Bunshin to help with the repairs. Other than that, I've been spending what time I can with my fiancés. Sooo, it's been good I guess." Shrugging, he looked between his clan head and the Hokage. "I'm more worried about you though, Jiji. You look terrible."

Hiruzen Sarutobi chuckled at that and nodded his head slowly. "You're not the first to say so Naruto-kun. I'm just a little tired after my battle with Orochimaru. But I'm glad you've been well. Thank you for the work you have done for the village Naruto-kun." Nodding to each other, the Sandaime soon continued. "Sadly, I'm sure you had already realized that we have not called you here simply to discuss how you've been doing."

Naruto sighed and nodded at that. "Of course Jiji. If I had to guess, I'd say this probably has to do with the announcement I made during my fight with Sasuke. If it's because of what I did to the teme though, I won't apologize for that."

The Hokage shook his head and smiled at his favorite blonde. "Nobody has requested that you apologize for that Naruto-kun. We already realize that he has joined Orochimaru and he has been labeled a traitor to the village. In fact, a new bingo book is being printed with updated information on current missing nin and new ones as well, Sasuke Uchiha included. We came to the agreement that this was the best choice we could make regarding the boy."

The whiskered Jinchuriki nodded, clearly understanding what had been said. "I understand Jiji. I have no qualms about that. The teme brought this upon himself." Sighing heavily, Naruto waved his hand dismissively. "Enough of that though. Let's just get on with this, please. What's going on this time?"

The Sandaime nodded sadly. "I'm sorry Naruto-kun. I'll get right to the point. After your announcement about being the Yondaime's son, we began to discuss you, your parents…we went over everything. As you well know, the Yondaime was a great ninja and he was very well respected. Your mother was exceptional in her abilities as well. The majority of those here wish to modify the CRA placed on you as a result of everything they have learned."

Naruto sighed and shook his head. "Do I have any choice in this Jiji? Or is this going to be forced on me?" The young man looked incredibly frustrated right now. This wasn't what he needed at the moment, but he realized that there was almost nothing he could do in this kind of situation. Besides, he was tired after everything that had happened recently. He had been resting before this meeting had been called and would have been happy to be able to continue resting!

Sean shook his head at this point and decided to speak up. "Very few of us here actually said no. Hokage-sama could refuse to push this on you and nobody could fight him on it, but…"

Hiruzen sighed and nodded his head at this point. "It would seem that not only does the Council wish to see the CRA modified, but after your announcement and hearing of your accomplishments, many of those in the village wish for this as well. So even if I were to overrule this decision and go against it, the village would see it as me showing special favor to you simply because I care about you as I do. They would not see it as me simply looking out for the happiness of one of Konoha's citizens."

Naruto nodded at this and shrugged his shoulders. "I understand Jiji. What are the modifications being made? I'd like to know what I have to tell my sweethearts."

The Sandaime Hokage nodded slowly, glad to see Naruto was at least being mature about this, even if he was incredibly unhappy with this decision. "It's a bit much, but they have come to the decision that you will be required to take at least eight wives. But, they have agreed to give you a bit of leeway. You won't be rushed." Frowning at this point, Hiruzen shook his head and decided to add a bit more. "They tried to demand that you be forced to take on ten wives, but after some argument from Sean-kun and I, we managed to come to that compromise. So, take the time you need to get accustomed to this idea and to talk with your loved ones about this change. Let love takes its course, and when you find another young woman for you to love, be happy with them Naruto-kun. Okay?"

The Kyuubi Jinchuriki nodded slowly and let a small smile creep onto his face. "Thank you Jiji. Can I go? I'd best get home and talk to my fiancés about this. I doubt they'll be too pleased with this decision, but we'll accept it if we have to. Heh, they're going to put anyone else through some tests or something to make sure they're right for me, I'm sure of it." Chuckling to himself, Naruto shook his head and looked into his Jiji's eyes. "Is…there more? It looks like some of you have something to say…"

Sean chose to speak up in place of the Hokage at this point. "You could say that Naruto-kun. Some people are going to try and convince you to marry their daughters, sisters, whatever. Rather than take into account their feelings, or even thinking about what you and your fiancés want, they're going to pull that kind of crap. You're going to need to be careful."

At this point, Inoichi chose to speak up, sending a quick glare Sean's way. "Sean-san, you clearly don't understand the reason for such things. Besides, we have already discussed this. We have agreed to not try such a thing with girls that hardly know him or clearly have no feelings for him. There is only one person off the top of my head that I can even think of to suggest to young Naruto right now anyways."

The Yamanaka clan head looked straight into Naruto's eyes at this point and smiled politely down at him. "Naruto-kun, how do you feel about my daughter, Ino? From how I understand it, she thinks highly of you and does care for you. While she has not signified that she has a romantic interest in you, I think that what she does feel could easily develop into something more."

As Naruto went to answer, the Uzumaki clan head shot up from his seat and slammed his fist into the table before him. "Damn it Inoichi, you aren't even thinking about how Ino feels! She's your daughter for fuck's sake!"

The Yamanaka male turned towards Sean and leveled a furious glare upon him. "And who are you to speak of raising one's child and thinking of their feelings, Sean Uzumaki?! Look at what your foolishness caused! Naruto Uzumaki demonstrated that he was not yet mature, or smart enough to know the truth! He lost his temper and nearly killed his opponent in a simple match before a large crowd of perhaps hundreds of people! That is on you Uzumaki!"

"Tch!" Clenching his fists tightly, Sean didn't even notice as his palms began bleeding, his nails having punctured the skin. Shaking his head, the blue-haired man sighed and fell into his seat. "That doesn't change the fact that this is wrong Inoichi. You should think of your daughter's feelings first and foremost…"

Inoichi Yamanaka shook his head and turned back to Naruto. "I apologize if you took what I just said as insulting Naruto Uzumaki. I did not mean for it to sound so harsh. However, the truth remains that Sean went against the words of Hokage-sama and told you something that he hadn't yet determined you were ready to know. Therefore, what happened in your match cannot truly be held against you, but against Sean Uzumaki. If people so wished it, Sean could be punished for his actions. As it stands, he's lucky we're being so forgiving of his transgressions."

Naruto looked absolutely livid at this point, but he wisely chose to keep his mouth shut. Instead, he simply continued to listen as the older man continued to speak. "That is not the subject we were trying to discuss though. Before your relative chose to interrupt, we were discussing the idea of you and my dear daughter joining in a union of love. What are your feelings towards my daughter Naruto-kun?"

The young Jinchuriki shook his head and frowned as he looked straight into Inoichi's eyes. "Your daughter and I have not always been the best of friends Inoichi-san. She is a good person and a skilled kunoichi, however…" Sighing at this point, the blue-eyed young man closed his eyes and chuckled softly to himself. "She was such a fan girl and she treated me like dirt for so long. Then…all that crap started happening with Sasuke and things changed. She was friendlier to me and we developed a sort of friendship. It's true we rarely saw each other, but I appreciate her for her kindness, intelligence, talent, and big heart. However…" Looking back into the older man's eyes, Naruto shrugged his shoulders. "I don't feel anything more for her than friendship Inoichi-san. I'm sorry."

Inoichi sighed at this, but nodded his head. "I understand Naruto-kun. However, it sounds as if your feelings might change as well if you think of her so highly. I would like to propose that you invite my daughter on a date soon. Is this acceptable to you?"

Once again, Naruto Uzumaki shook his head. "Sorry Inoichi-kun, but I happen to know your daughter is in love with somebody else. Her feelings are so strong for this person that I highly doubt they could change so easily."

The Yamanaka head frowned as he heard this and decided to voice a question to the young Uzumaki. "Could you tell me who this person is that she feels so strongly for? I might not approve of her chasing after this person after all."

Naruto scoffed at this and shook his head, closing his eyes in the process. "Sorry Inoichi-san, but that is not for me to tell. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get home and talk to my fiancés about the changes and then I need to get some sleep. I am very tired. Good-bye and good night to all of you." And with that, without even waiting to be excused, Naruto left the Council meeting room and began his trek back home.

At this point, the Elders stepped forth, Homura and Koharu taking their places on either side of the Hokage. As Koharu leaned in close and whispered something to the Sandaime, Sean had a sinking feeling that things were about to get much worse. When the Sandaime spoke, the Wind God's suspicions were confirmed. "I'm afraid that before we can leave and get some rest, there is one more matter to discuss. Jiraiya observed something during our battle with Orochimaru, and it concerns Sean Uzumaki." When everyone looked towards the Uzumaki clan head, he shrunk back in his chair even more and looked into his Hokage's eyes. "I am sorry Sean-kun, but I'm afraid this topic must be discussed."

After taking a moment to take in a deep breath and release it slowly, Hiruzen Sarutobi continued to speak, explaining what he had learned. "As all of you already know, Sean-kun battled with Orochimaru in the Forest of Death during the second stage of the Chunin Exams. He managed to wound my former pupil, but not fatally, nor was it severe enough to cause any lasting damage." Looking right into Sean's eyes now, the Sandaime found himself frowning. "However, despite having been healed by a medic of his own, Jiraiya noticed something strange about Orochimaru during our fight."

Sighing again, the aged old man shook his head and closed his eyes. "Orochimaru was still affected by something that happened during his fight with Sean-kun. Jiraiya has theorized that, despite having been healed, Sean's chakra must have done something more to him than anyone could have expected. Orochimaru wasn't able to fight at his best, and Jiraiya is curious as to why. However, out of respect for Sean-kun, I have forbidden him from running any tests of any sort on dear Sean-kun. Whatever is going on, I feel it is our place to trust in Sean Uzumaki. However, I would like to hear theories."

Hiashi spoke up at this point as he activated his Byakugan and looked closely at Sean's chakra network. "I am not seeing anything truly unusual about Sean's chakra Hokage-sama. It's a slightly different color than what I usually see, but other than that it's perfectly normal." Deactivating his Byakugan, the Hyuga head shrugged his shoulders. "I have no theories I can provide at this moment in time. If Sean's chakra got into Orochimaru's system somehow and truly is causing him problems, I do not know what to tell you."

Shikaku Nara spoke up at this point, deciding to voice something that was known about the Wind God. "Hokage-sama, if I may?" Seeing the Hokage nod that the jonin commander could proceed, Shikaku continued. "We already know very little about Sean-san. In fact, he is something of an enigma to all of us. We know Sean has a unique talent with wind. It is unlike anything we have ever seen before in anybody. Thanks to Jima-san, we know that Sean-san is a member of the nearly extinct Uzumaki clan. We also know that, for whatever reason, Sean-san's memory was sealed off by not only per the Yondaime's orders, but per yours as well at a later time. There are so many unknowns about Sean Uzumaki that we could speculate about why his chakra is harming Orochimaru of the Sannin in such a way, but I doubt we would be able to come up with any truly plausible ideas."

Everyone in the room nodded in agreement with this. When they were done, Sean sighed and sat forward, resting his chin in his hands. "If I knew what the hell was going on, I'd tell you. But I don't know a damn thing. It's already been implied by both Orochimaru and Jima-chan that I haven't unlocked my full potential yet, so perhaps it has something to do with that?" Shrugging, Sean looked towards the Hokage, awaiting some kind of answer.

The Sandaime nodded slowly before leaning his head back. "That is certainly a possibility Sean-kun. However, without knowing more about you, there is really not much we can go on. It would seem that it would be wisest to postpone this particular discussion until a later date. So unless somebody has more to add to this conversation…?"

At this, both Shibi Aburame and a member of the Civilian Council chose to speak up, offering the same suggestion. Waving his hand for silence, the Hokage motioned for Shibi to repeat himself. "As I was saying, with this new revelation about Sean-san's unique chakra ability, I think the future generations could benefit greatly from possessing at least similar chakra. Therefore, I propose that we modify the CRA placed on Sean-san as well."

Sean's head hit the table so hard it cracked in the spot his forehead landed. Hiruzen sighed at that reaction before looking between Shibi and the Civilian Council member that spoke. "And how would you like to modify this?"

Shibi nodded slowly before looking at Sean. "I recommend that he take a minimum number of six wives with the time limit of marrying at least one of these women being reduced to six months instead of the one year that had been proposed in that earlier meeting. We would like to see children born from his union as soon as we could. If these children were to possess similar capabilities, it would benefit the village greatly in the long run."

Seeing everyone nodding in agreement, Sean groaned out and looked at the Hokage pleadingly. When the old man shook his head, the Uzumaki clan head knew he was screwed. "I am sorry Sean-kun, but they seem to be unanimous in their decision. I must admit that they have a strong point as well. I will grant you a little more time, however. You will have seven more months from this moment onwards to propose to a woman, get a wedding planned, and marry her. Otherwise, a wife will be chosen for you. Finally, you will have to take at least six brides. Is this understood Sean-kun?"

The blue-haired man nodded slowly and closed his eyes. "I understand Hokage-sama. Can I…please be excused? I need time to just take this all in and come to terms with everything that has happened…" Seeing the Sandaime nod and smile kindly at him, the Uzumaki male quickly disappeared from the room, leaving the others to talk about whatever else they might wish to discuss in his absence.

Uzumaki-Namikaze Estate

As Sean walked in through the front door, he could see Naruto sitting with his four fiancés in the living room, obviously discussing the changes with them. Judging by the looks on their faces, they were quite clearly very displeased with the news and looked as if they were about ready to kill the Council members. Upon noticing Sean, Hinata quickly shot up and rushed over to him. Seeing the state the blue-haired Uzumaki male was in, she grabbed his hand and led him over to one of the couches as quickly as she could, helping him sit down.

"What happened Sean-sama? You don't look too well…" Hinata questioned, a look of deep concern etched onto her face.

Seeing that the others seemed to share in her concern, Sean closed his eyes and leaned his head back. "Oh, nothing, nothing. I just learned that I'm even more of a freak of nature than I thought I was. And oh! Because of that, they decided to fuck with me more too! I now have to take on six wives and I only have seven months left to choose somebody to marry, set up the wedding date, prepare the wedding, and get married, or they choose somebody for me to marry whether I like it or not!" Sighing heavily, he shook his head and opened his eyes to stare at the ceiling. "How much has Naruto told you?"

Fu spoke up at this point, a sad tone in her voice. "Naruto-kun told us about the modifications made to the CRA. Eight wives, with the recommendation of ten?! All we can really be thankful for is the fact that they're at least giving him all the time he needs and not rushing anything. That means we can all take the time to get to know whoever he meets and approve of them first. But…we don't have to like it."

Sean quirked a brow at this and sat up, looking them over carefully. "And is that all he's managed to tell you so far?" Seeing them each nod, the Uzumaki head chuckled sadly. "Yeah, the Council meeting wasn't so great. Inoichi is trying to hook Ino up with Naruto-kun too." Seeing their expressions, the blue-haired male nodded sadly. "Yeah. Ino's in love with somebody else, I know that. The problem is, Inoichi doesn't give a damn. I tried to speak up in Ino's defense…but…"

Naruto shook his head at this and clenched his fists tightly. "Inoichi was horrible to Sean-sensei! The things he said…!" Clenching his eyes shut tight, the young male Jinchuriki could feel tears stinging at his eyes. "Sean-sensei couldn't say anything more…it was awful!"

Feeling arms wrapping around him, Sean opened his eyes, having closed them as Naruto was talking. Hinata was actually giving him a hug! "Hinata-chan? Shouldn't you be hugging your dear hubby-to-be?"

Hinata giggled at that and shook her head. "We all hugged him earlier, and besides, Sakura-chan and Fu are currently attending to our dear Naruto-koi right now. You looked like you needed a hug too, so…"

Sean smiled a bit as Hinata hugged him tighter. Gently wrapping his arms around the young woman, the blue-haired man kissed her atop her head. "You're a good girl Hinata-chan. Thank you. I'll be okay. Still, after everything that's happened…I think I need some rest. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to explain all of this to Anko-hime and Jima-chan…" With a sigh, Sean Uzumaki released himself from Hinata Uzumaki, rose from the couch, and stumbled on upstairs to his room.

The girls all looked to Naruto, each of them clearly worried for the two Uzumaki males. "What can we do…?" Sakura Haruno asked, saddened deeply by everything they had just learned and by the state the two were in.

Naruto shook his head and shrugged. "I…don't know Sakura-chan. I just don't know…" Leaning back into the couch, the blonde closed his eyes and shook his head. "I hate this. Why can't we ever just be left in peace? Is it so important to screw with our lives like this?!"

Jima stepped into the room from the shadows and sighed. "It appears so Naruto-kun." Seeing their shocked expressions, the female Uzumaki chuckled softly. "Yes, I heard everything. As much as I'd love to go kill those bastards on the Council, it really wouldn't help us any. Don't worry, I'll tell Anko and Ino as well when I see her. I think Sean and Ino need to have that conversation she's been wanting soon. He needs to learn how she feels about him so they can figure out what to do about her feelings. As for Anko…I'm honestly not sure how she'll react to this news."

Naruto chuckled at that and shook his head. "She's going to be pissed. But I think one part will please her: she'll get to marry Sean sooner than expected." Everyone laughed at that before Jima sat down and the six of them lost themselves in conversation.

The Next Day – Early Morning

Pounding could be heard on the front door of the home the Uzumaki clan resided in. It was around 5:00 AM and most everyone was asleep. However, Jima soon opened the door and looked down into young Ino Yamanaka's eyes. She looked frantic, angry, depressed…it was a terrible mixture of emotions and it looked as if she had been crying for some time. Upon seeing the state she was in, Jima Uzumaki let the girl inside of her home and shut the door behind her upon making sure there was no one left outside.

Walking with Ino over to one of the couches, the blue-haired woman turned on one of the lights and sat beside her. "Ino-chan, are you alright? What happened?" The platinum blonde shook her head and clung tightly to Jima, burying her face in the woman's chest. As her tears began to fall again, the female Uzumaki simply stroked her hair and smiled softly to her. "There there Ino-chan, it will be alright. Let it all out and talk to me when you can. Okay?" Seeing Ino nod, Jima smiled and began to hum a soft tune to the girl to try and soothe her.

When the young woman finally calmed, she backed away slightly and looked up into Jima's eyes. "I heard…I heard everything from tou-san! I ran away…I came here because I need to talk to Seanie-kun! I have to!"

Jima Uzumaki smiled softly at that and nodded her head towards the stairs. As Ino turned, her eyes lit up and she immediately got up and rushed over to him, throwing her arms around him and hugging him tight. Sean blinked at this and rubbed his eyes tiredly, but shrugged and hugged Ino back after a few moments. When they finally parted, he led her over to a couch and they sat together, simply looking into each other's eyes.

Jima smirked and shook her head. "I'm going to make myself some breakfast. Would you two like anything?" After hearing their requests for pancakes and bacon, the blue-haired woman giggled to herself and walked off, leaving the two alone.

Back in the living room, Sean looked back into Ino's eyes and gently brushed a few strands of her long hair back behind her ear. "Ino-chan, why have you run away from home? Your parents are probably worried sick about you."

The young woman shook her head furiously and looked back into Sean's eyes. "I heard everything! What tou-san did…it's so wrong! I'm not in love with Naruto-kun. I'm in love with somebody else! But he doesn't care…tou-san just doesn't care…"

The blue-haired male nodded slowly at that and hugged Ino close, letting her rest her cheek against his chest. "I know Ino-chan. I tried to speak up in defense of you and your feelings, but your father…well…it didn't go well. I was silenced, and…certain 'threats' were made against me. Naruto-kun tried to speak up for you as well, but I'm afraid Inoichi ignored his words as well. I'm so sorry Ino-chan."

Ino Yamanaka shook her head and looked up into Sean's eyes. "You don't need to apologize! Tou-san said horrible things to you and he…he…he's not thinking about me at all! It's not your fault at all Seanie-kun!" Shaking her head again, the young blonde looked down at her lap and started to blush as she wiped her tears. "S-Seanie-kun? C-C-Can I…ask a f-f-favor?"

The Uzumaki head looked curiously at the girl before him, clearly not used to her being this nervous around anybody. "Of course Ino-chan. If there's anything I can do to help you, I'll be glad to do it if it's within my power to do so."

The Yamanaka girl nodded slowly and kept her gaze on her lap. "Can you please let me move in here? Kaa-san agrees with tou-san and…I don't want to be there anymore. Not with how they're behaving and not with how they're treating me and those I care for. Please?!"

Sean blinked at the strange request, but soon began to scratch at his bare chin in thought. "Hmm." As he thought, a smirk donned on Sean's face and he began to chuckle somewhat darkly. "It would seem that your father's idea is going to come back to bite him in the ass Ino-chan." Looking down into her eyes, the blue-haired man grinned at her. "I have a pretty dastardly idea. He wants you to unite with Naruto-kun, and moving in with us is the perfect way to do so. However…"

Ino's eyes widened and she began to smile brightly. "In truth, I wouldn't be doing that at all. Tou-san wouldn't be aware of the truth, instead he'd be tricked into believing that I'm really working on getting to know Naruto-kun better! Meanwhile, I'd be under your protection so that, just in case, tou-san and the rest of my clan couldn't try anything! Is that right?"

Sean nodded and lightly kissed her forehead. "You've always been a smart person Ino-chan. That's my plan in a nutshell. Now that we have a plan, can you tell me who it is you're really in love with Ino-chan? I might be able to help set something up."

Ino Yamanaka looked into Sean's face in complete disbelief, no sound escaping her for some time. It almost appeared as if she wasn't even breathing she was so shocked! When she finally snapped out of it, the platinum blonde young woman began laughing to herself, almost hysterically. Upon finally calming down, she saw the confusion etched into Sean's face and started giggling again.

As Ino managed to finally calm herself, she took a few deep breaths and gently took Sean's hands with hers. "Seanie-kun, you really are terrible when it comes to understanding women, aren't you?" Seeing him frown, the young woman smiled softly at him and poked his chest. "Seanie-kun…I'm in love with you. You've inspired me so much, and you've done so much for me already. You helped make me a better person and a stronger kunoichi. You helped me realize my dreams, and you've treated me like I'm my own person rather than just a clan heir following in my tou-san's footsteps. You've…been so kind to me. I realized that I had fallen in love with you just recently. Before I assumed it was just a crush, but…it's so much more than that. I love you so very, very much Seanie-kun. You're the one I want to be with."

After hearing this, Sean Uzumaki went red in the cheeks and froze for a time as he tried to process everything he had just heard. When he finally blinked after a time of silence and shock, the man smiled to himself and nodded slowly. "I see. I'll be honest Ino-chan, I never realized that. I'm…not entirely sure how exactly I feel for you, but I care for you a great deal. You're an important person to me, and…this actually gives me another idea."

Before Ino could ask what Sean meant, the blue-haired male gently slipped a finger under her chin and lifted her face just enough for him to lean in and capture her lips with his own. It soon turned into a romantic, sweet kiss and he cupped her cheek with his right hand as the girl turned red and moaned into the kiss. Upon parting, the blue-haired Uzumaki smirked down at her. "Here is my idea Ino-chan. We'll go on some dates, determine my feelings for you, and work things out. If I'm correct about things…I could make you one of my wives. Some would disagree, but if we're happy…we're happy. Know what I mean? But more than that, your father would be getting what he wants…in a sense." With a shrug, he leaned back into the couch and smirked as he looked towards the kitchen. "And how long are you going to stand there and watch Jima-chan?"

Hearing this, Ino looked over and watched as Jima entered the room, carrying over plates with everyone's food. She had also managed to balance drinks for everyone as well. As she and Sean laid the food and drink out on the table nearest them, Ino's face took on a deep, crimson red and she began trying to stammer out some kind of response. When she felt Sean's hand grasping hers, the young woman turned to Sean again and blushed even more when he leaned in and began kissing her more passionately than the last time.

Jima smirked as she watched this, slowly cutting into her French toast and taking a bite. Good. It's about time you finally admitted your feelings for Seanie-kun, Ino-chan. I was wondering how much longer it would take you to do so. When her cousin and Ino separated, the blue-haired woman decided to poke a bit of fun at the young woman. "Sooo, feeling all 'tingly' now Ino-chan?"

The blonde shot a quick glare at Jima before looking away and wrapping her arms about herself. "Sh-Shut up Jima-san! Don't go teasing me! I can't help it! When…when…he kisses me like that…my heart skips a beat and I feel so happy. It's…wonderful!" Giggling happily to herself, Ino rested her head on Sean's shoulder and smiled brightly as Sean handed her her plate. "I love you Sean…"

A few hours later

Sean had decided it was best to approach Ino's parents after giving Ino enough time to relax with him. They had enjoyed just talking with one another, and she had actually initiated a few kisses on her own throughout their conversation. All-in-all, the two of them were enjoying their time together, and neither one cared about what others might think about their relationship. As Sean had said earlier: 'if they were happy together, they were happy together'.

Now, the newly formed couple stood outside of the Yamanaka household and the Uzumaki male was knocking loudly on the front door. The moment Inoichi and his wife opened the door, Sean smiled down at his blonde girlfriend and patted her on the shoulder before he began to speak with her parents. "Good day Inoichi-san, ma'am, I would like to speak with you about your daughter."

Seeing the two of them nod, Sean continued. "As I'm sure you well know, Ino-chan ran away after hearing the news about what happened at yesterday evening's Council meeting. She came to my home at that point and I allowed her inside. We took some time to discuss everything that had happened, and I agreed to something Ino put forward as an idea." Seeing they wanted to know what this deal was, the blue-haired Uzumaki male nodded slowly. "Ino would like to move into the Uzumaki household. It might seem like a bit much, but, considering the idea you put forward last night Inoichi-san, I believe this to be a good idea."

Seeing as Inoichi was now listening rather intently, Sean smiled politely and continued. "Ino-chan has decided that she would like to take this time to get to know Naruto-kun better. Moving into my household would give her the chance to see him every day, unless one or both of them are out on a mission, of course. With all the time they'd be spending together, there's a good chance you could be getting that union between our clans that you want to see happen. So, would you please permit Ino-chan to pack and officially move into my home?"

Inoichi looked between his daughter and the man before him, clearly skeptical of what he was hearing. "What brought about this change of heart? The two of you were so against this last night; I can't imagine you would change your minds so quickly."

The Uzumaki head shook his head and sighed. "As I said Inoichi-san, Ino and I had a long talk and she has decided for herself that she would like to get to know Naruto-kun better and see what happens. Whether or not something develops from this time together is entirely up to the two of them. My only argument was the fact that you weren't thinking of their feelings. But seeing as your daughter is willing to work towards a possible relationship, I have no more complaint."

Inoichi nodded in acceptance of this response before looking to his wife. After taking some time to discuss this change in events, the two of them came to an agreement and nodded to Sean. "Very well. So long as my daughter is in your care, I trust that she will be well taken care of?"

Sean nodded with a smile and gave Ino a pat on the back. "Go on Ino-chan, go pack your things. If you need some help, please take your mother with you." Seeing her nod and rush off into her house, eager to get her things packed, Sean looked into her father's eyes. "Ino will be just fine Inoichi-san, I assure you. Not only will she be under my protection so long as she's living under my roof, but I will continue with her training, she will be well fed, she'll have her own room…she'll have a good time there. So please rest assured that everything will be just fine."

The Yamanaka clan head nodded once again and shook Sean's hand. "Good. My apologies for my rudeness last night. You are far more reasonable than I gave you credit for." Despite the obvious jab, Sean didn't let this get to him and returned the handshake. Soon enough, Ino and her mother came back downstairs with her bags. "Take care Ino, and I hope to hear some good news soon."

Ino nodded slowly and looked up to Sean. "Thank you Sean-sensei, tou-san." Nodding to the both of them, the young Yamanaka heiress said her good-byes to her parents and then walked off with Sean, the Uzumaki male carrying her bags for her.

As soon as they were out of earshot of her parents, the platinum blonde girl looked up at Sean and smirked. "I didn't realize you were such a smooth talker Seanie-kun. Even I almost believed what you were saying."

Sean smirked down at her and nodded slowly. "I'm just that good Ino-chan." Winking down at her, the blue-haired man smiled happily when she started to giggle again. Her company was very much appreciated, and the Uzumaki head was glad that he could make her smile like this. "You have a wonderful laugh Ino-chan."

Ino blushed at this and proceeded to stare at the ground as they walked up to the front door of the Uzumaki-Namikaze household. "Th-Thank you. I love your laughter as well Seanie-kun. I love everything about you."

Sean Uzumaki felt something akin to butterflies in his stomach as he walked in through the front door after Ino opened it and stepped inside. Walking together into her designated room, Sean laid her bags down and walked behind Ino, wrapping his arms around her and holding her close against him. "Thank you Ino-chan. You're such a sweetheart. I'm so glad I met you, and I'm happy you feel this way about me." Turning her around, Sean leaned down and kissed Ino Yamanaka passionately, pouring his feelings into the kiss.

As the two kissed each other and held each other close, Hinata and Sakura walked by, obviously on their way downstairs to get some brunch. As soon as the pinkette glanced into the open room, her eyes widened and she froze in place. "H-Hinata…? Am I seeing things?"

Hinata yawned and looked into the room at what her friend was seeing. What she saw had the girl's eyes widening in shock. "Sean-sama?! Ino-san?!"

Blinking in shock, Sean and Ino separated and blushed furiously as they turned to face Naruto's fiancés. As Ino fidgeted with her shirt, Sean rubbed the back of his head and smiled sheepishly. "Uh…uhhh…hiya? Good morning Hinata-chan, Sakura-chan. Did you sleep well?"

Sakura shook her head and pointed her finger at him. "Don't try to change the subject like that! What the heck are you two doing?!"

Ino looked up at this point and stared hard into her best friend's eyes. "Sakura, I ran away from home early in the morning. Seanie-kun took me in and agreed to let me move in. T-This is my room now. And…we…well…"

Sean blushed and scratched at his nose with his left hand while he gently took Ino's hand into his with his right. "We got to talking, and…" Looking down into Ino's eyes, the Uzumaki head smiled brightly. "Ino told me her feelings. I don't know how to explain it, but…this makes me happy. We're going to go on dates, and…well…I like her. A lot."

Hinata smiled at this and nodded her head. "As long as you two are happy, I don't have any problems with it. Besides, after last night, I think this is for the best. Don't you Sakura-san?"

Sakura looked into Hinata's eyes for a moment before turning to her best friend and Sean. Slowly, she nodded her head and released a soft sigh. "I've been working on getting moved in myself, so if you need any help with anything Ino-chan, I'd be happy to help. I know it must be hard on you, having to deal with such a jerk for a dad." Frowning, the pinkette walked over and hugged her friend close. "I'm glad you're here Ino-chan. And…" Smirking, she looked up into Sean's eyes. "I'm happy you got your man." Giggling to herself, Sakura released her friend and walked off with Hinata; they were hungry after all.

Ino blushed as she looked up into her boyfriend's eyes. "You realize that everyone that lives here is going to know about this in no time, right?"

Sean Uzumaki nodded, but shrugged his shoulders after a moment. "I don't mind. Do you?" Seeing his new girlfriend shake her head, the blue-haired man smirked. "Good. Then, shall we continue?" Ino giggled as she nodded her head, the two of them happily going back to sharing another kiss together.

Three Days Later

Upon hearing knocking on the front door, Sean walked up to it and opened it slowly. "Jiraiya-sama? What brings you here today?" He asked, inviting the Toad Sannin in for some tea afterwards.

The white-haired Sannin smiled in thanks and looked around. "Is Naruto here? The old man has assigned us a mission."

Sean nodded at this, curious as to what this new mission could be. However, rather than say anything, the Uzumaki head went out back to retrieve Naruto. Once the two of them returned inside, Sean sat down with his relative and smiled. "What does this mission entail Jiraiya-sama?"

The Toad Sannin smiled and looked into Naruto's eyes. "Naruto-kun and I are to find Tsunade Senju. The old man has decided that she is to be his replacement and become the Godaime Hokage."

Naruto grinned at this and looked into the clan head's eyes. "Sean-sensei, you don't have a problem with this, do you?" Seeing him shake his head and offer the boy a smile, the young blonde grinned. "Awesome, dattebayo! I'm looking forward to meeting her! When do we leave Ero-sensei?!"

Jiraiya twitched at the name, but released a heavy sigh, already used to the various nicknames Naruto and the others had given him. "In a couple of hours. You should pack what you need for at least a month-long trip. She likes to travel, so it might be a little difficult to find her. Hopefully we'll get lucky though."

Naruto nodded at this, but soon thought of something. "Jiraiya-sensei?" Seeing he had the older man's attention, the Jinchuriki reached up and rubbed the back of his head. "Can I bring along a few people? I'd feel better if I could bring them along…"

The Sannin quirked a brow, but shrugged and nodded his head in response. "Sure, I don't see why not. Just make sure you and whoever you're bringing along meet me as the west gate in a couple of hours so we can head out. I have it on good authority that she's at least in Hi no Kuni, but I'm not sure exactly where. So, I plan to meet with somebody in a town to the west to see what I can learn. Aside from that, I want to continue your training during this mission." Taking the moment to think, Jiraiya looked into Naruto's eyes and nodded with a smile. "Depending on who you choose to bring, I might be able to help them out as well."

Naruto thanked Jiraiya and watched as the man left. Turning to Sean, the blonde said a few words before rushing out back to inform his fiancés about his new mission. Upon doing so, he looked to two of them and grinned. "Fu-chan, Hinata-hime, I want to bring you two along with me on this mission." Looking at Sakura and Haku, Naruto hugged the two of them tight and gave the both of them as passionate kisses as he could. "When we get back, I want to take you two on dates. It's not fair that we won't get to see each other for a while, so if you are willing to wait for me to get back, I'll definitely prepare the most romantic dates I can think of for the both of you." Looking into their eyes, Naruto smiled happily. "I love you both so much. I'll miss you very much."

Sakura and Haku smiled and hugged him tight, kissing him on both of his cheeks. "We'll miss you too Naru-kun. Your mission is important, and we understand that. Please take care, be careful, and do try to have fun. We love you too."

Naruto smiled at that and thanked them for being so understanding before he rushed inside with Fu and Hinata to get packed for the mission.

The Next Day

Naruto's family and fiancés had seen the group of four off before they went about whatever they had to do for the day. It had already been a full day since then, and Sean was currently spending time with Kakashi, discussing recent events and what they had been up to since the invasion. Seeing as this was the first time they had spoken with each other since the day of the invasion, they actually had a great deal to talk about.

However, as they talked, the two jonin couldn't help but notice two people wearing black cloaks with red clouds. The hats they wore were obviously meant to conceal their identities, and all of this in itself was quite suspicious to the Konoha jonin. So, while maintaining their idle chatter, both Sean and Kakashi of the Sharingan watched these two until they rose from their seats and began walking off. Nodding to each other, the two of them began to tail these strangers, but not before Kakashi sent someone to inform the Hokage. After all, if the two jonin were correct, things were about to get bad.

A short time later, the two found Asuma and Kurenai locked in combat with the two unknown individuals. However, it really didn't appear as if the battle was going too well for the couple. Nodding in agreement with each other, Kakashi and Sean made their move. While Kakashi went for the black-haired individual, Sean quickly leaped into the air and began sending numerous sickles of wind down at the shark-like man. As the swordsman leaped back to avoid the attacks, the Wind God landed in front of Asuma and folded his arms across his chest. "You alright there Mr. Bearded Wonder?"

Asuma and Kurenai both breathed sighs of relief as they saw who had come to their rescue. "We're fine. It's a damn good thing you showed up when you did; things were getting bad for us. You should be careful of these two!"

Sean and Kakashi nodded before they noticed who one of the mystery men was. "Itachi Uchiha. How curious that you would return to the village like this. What is it you're after, I wonder?" Kakashi questioned as he revealed his Sharingan, preparing himself for combat with the skilled Uchiha.

Itachi looked between Kakashi and Sean and smiled. "I am here to retrieve Naruto-kun. However, I believe he is no longer in the village. Now, do let us be on our way. It will not be our fault if something terrible should befall the two of you." He explained calmly, clearly ready for anything these two would throw his way.

The Wind God sighed at that and shook his head. "Goodie, two psychos after my little cousin. Now I really can't let the two of you leave." Looking hard at the shark man, Sean Uzumaki smirked and summoned a wind sword into his right hand. "Okay Fish Breath, let's see what you can do. After all, I'm going to have to kick your ass now, you know?"

Kisame Hoshigaki laughed at that before nodding his head. "The local Wind God of Konoha. You might be a little more fun than these weaklings. Come on, let's play!" Moving forward quickly, Kisame swung his sword hard at Sean's midsection, only for the man to leap over the attack and thrust his sword forward at his opponent's face. "You're quick, that's good." The cloaked man stated as he quickly brought his sword up to block the attack.

When Sean's wind sword vanished, he tilted his head and chuckled to himself. "Well isn't that interesting? A sword that absorbs chakra. You're one of the Seven Swordsman, aren't you Mr. Fishy?"

Kisame quirked a brow at this and shook his head. "What's with the weird nicknames Wind God?" Shrugging, Kisame prepared himself for what would surely be a fun duel. "I am Kisame Hoshigaki, former member of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. And my darling Samehada (Shark Skin) appears to like the taste of your chakra. Do give her more!"

Sighing at this, the Uzumaki head drew forth his katana. "If I am unable to use my weapons of wind, this will suffice. You will find that I am quite skilled with a blade Kisame, so you'd best come at me serious right from the start."

Kisame Hoshigaki laughed at that and nodded. "Oh gladly! Let's dance Sean Uzumaki!" And with that said, the shark man dashed forward, bringing his sword down hard and fast in a vertical slash aimed as the Wind God's head. Quickly bring his katana up, Sean blocked Samehada for just a second and then disappeared from Kisame's sight. "Oh-ho! Good, show me this speed of yours 'Wind God'!"

Appearing at his opponent's side, Sean swung his sword a few times in a horizontal arc, sending sickles of wind flying at Kisame once more. However, instead of just waiting to see if his attack would land, the Uzumaki clan head zipped around behind Kisame and aimed a thrust at his back with his katana.

Kisame looked a tad surprised at this strategy and quickly swung his bandage-wrapped sword in a wide arc. The wind sickles were absorbed into his sword, and he just barely managed to deflect Sean's sword before it could pierce his skin. "Clever. You are a quick one, aren't you?"

Sean shrugged at that and slowly nodded his head. "So I've been told. Then again, so are you if you were able to stop my attack like that. Good job Kisame." Seeing the shark man grin, the Wind God prepared to unleash another series of attacks before he heard Kakashi scream out in agony. Quickly shooting a sideways glance at the silver-haired man, Sean scowled. "Well shit."

Kisame took this moment of distraction to try and attack Sean, only to find his Samehada being blocked by Sean's katana once more. As the Wind God turned to look him square in the eyes, Kisame grinned his shark-like grin. "Well damn, you didn't drop your guard after all. Too bad."

Itachi spoke up at this point, drawing his partner's attention to him. "Let's go Kisame; we have already wasted enough time here. Besides, we're about to have even more unwanted company."

The shark man scoffed at that before turning to face Sean, glaring hard into his eyes. "We'll have to settle this fight at a later date. Until then, don't get yourself killed 'Wind God'." Chuckling, Kisame quickly left with his partner, leaving the three jonin alone to look after Kakashi Hatake.

Sean watched as the duo left and shook his head. "Well that's not good. The bastard was only playing with me. He wasn't the least bit serious. Then again, neither was I, but still…that ability of his sword's to eat up my chakra makes most of my attacks freaking useless. If I ever have to fight him again, it's going to SUCK!" Sighing to himself, the Wind God lifted Kakashi into his arms and shook his head. "I'll take Kakashi-san to the hospital so he can be treated. You two should report to Hokage-sama and tell him about what has happened. I just hope Naruto-kun will be okay…"

Later – Shukuba Town

The entire trip thus far, Fu had been incredibly clingy to her darling fiancé. The reason? She had still been denied her sexy time and she was getting tired of waiting for it! However, the three had been helped with their training so far and had worked quite a bit up to this point, despite how clingy Fu had been to Naruto. Now that they had arrived Shukuba Town, they each breathed a sigh of relief and decided they would rent a couple of rooms at the local inn for the night.

However, upon arriving at the inn, a strange woman had begun flirting with Jiraiya and he had even attempted to leave with her, planning to let the genin rent the rooms on their own. His plan had failed however as Hinata threatened to castrate him if he dared leave them alone so he could follow his perverted desires with a woman he didn't even know. Needless to say, the white-haired Sannin chose to send the girl off and even paid out of his own pocket for the rooms they would be renting for the night!

Upon seeing this happen, Itachi cursed under his breath and shook his head. "We're calling this off Kisame. We don't want to deal with Jiraiya yet."

Kisame frowned at this and looked into his partner's eyes. "Are you serious?! I was looking forward to playing with the Kyuubi brat and dragging him back with us, kicking and screaming!"

The Uchiha shook his head and sighed. "I understand, but it's still early. There is still time for us to capture the Kyuubi Jinchuriki. For now, we should focus on other tasks given us. Come Kisame, we're leaving." Turning away, Itachi began walking with his partner, listening calmly to the shark man's various complaints. I had not expected for others to be traveling with them. It would seem the information I obtained was incorrect…

Meanwhile, after dropping their things off in their rooms, Naruto had asked if Jiraiya could take Hinata to go and purchase some more supplies. With some extra prodding from Fu and Hinata, the Toad Sannin relented and walked off with the ex-Hyuga heiress, leaving his godson and his mint green-haired fiancé alone in one of the rooms together.

Turning to stare into Fu's eyes, the blonde smiled and revealed his true reason for sending the two off together. "Fu-chan, I'd say we have some time to 'play'. Let's go ahead and enjoy your 'Naru-kun sexy time' while we have the chance."

Fu grinned and nodded quickly, hurrying over to the door and slamming it shut. Quickly locking it, she turned and leaped on her blonde fiancé and kissed him hungrily, yet passionately. Upon breaking away, she removed her top and giggled happily to herself. "I love you Naru-kun. I'm going to make you feel really good."

A/N: Damn was I tired as I wrote this chapter. Still, I think it turned out rather well for being dead tired the ENTIRE TIME I wrote this. lol.

Anyways, yeah, it finally happened. Ino got her man. I know some of you were complaining about the possibility of that happening before, sooo... *shrugs* Sorry if it's not to your liking. But as they said in the chapter: If they're happy, they're happy.

I know some of you may feel Inoichi is a bit out of character, and things may have seemed a little weird during the Council meeting, buuut...it's fanfiction. What can I say other than that? lol.

Yes, I did end the chapter right as Fu was about to get her 'Naru-kun sexy time'. It seemed like as good a place as any to end the chapter. I will write the lime for them in the next chapter, so don't worry if you were excited for that.

Anywho, I'm really tired right now, so I can't even remember if there was anything else I wanted to say. Ah well. Hope you're looking forward to the next chapter!
