Seeing her smile in response and thank him, Sean continued. "I'm actually curious to see how your brother is doing. I'd ask your mom, but, uhhh…"
Hana sighed and nodded her head. "I heard. Someone kind of spread the news about that Council meeting. Before you ask, I don't know who it was, but I do know my kaa-san didn't deny voting in favor of everything regarding you and Naruto." Looking into Sean's eyes, the Inuzuka woman shrugged her shoulders. "It would seem that news is going around in an attempt to get you more attention from us women. I wouldn't be surprised if you get courted by a number of women in the coming days."
The Uzumaki head fell back into a chair and slapped himself in the face. "You have got to be kidding me?! They're just not going to let it be, are they? I have seven months to get married before they get to force anybody on me. Do they truly not understand that I'm fully capable of that without them needing to go behind my back and setting this kind of crap up?!"

They're leaving Naruto alone, allowing him to go at his own pace, but when it comes to you?" Shaking her head, Hana gave her friend a gentle hug. "They're being absolutely awful when it comes to you. Sean smiled at that and gently patted Hana's hand. "Thanks Hana-san. I really appreciate that." Sighing softly, he looked into his friend's eyes. "Enough of that though. How is Kiba doing? I've been concerned about him ever since he lost his match against Shino. I know how prideful your brother can be, so a loss like that in front of so many people could have hurt him more than people know. If I were to ask him directly, I've a feeling he'd try to lie to me and just…well, wouldn't be honest about his feelings. This is why I came to you Hana-san, because you would have an easier understanding of him than I would."
Hana giggled a bit at that before shaking her head. "Kiba's fine. Sure he was depressed for a while, but after kaa-san was finished with him, Kiba's mood improved and he's been working harder than ever to improve himself. Though I think part of that is because she threatened to tell you about his behavior. Kiba immediately thought that, with how much of a 'hard ass' you are, you would run him into the ground and still wouldn't let up until you felt he had had enough 'punishment'." Laughing harder, the lovely Inuzuka woman wiped a tear from her eye and smiled at Sean. "You make for great motivation Sean-kun."
Sean Uzumaki laughed lightly as he rubbed the back of his head. "Wow. I have to admit that I didn't expect that…" With a shrug, he gave Hana Inuzuka a gentle hug and a kiss on the cheek before rising from his chair and turning for the door, completely missing her blush. "I've got some errands I need to run today, so I do have to go. Thank you for talking with me Hana-san, I truly appreciate it. We really should talk more often; we don't do that often enough. See you later."
As Sean waved over his shoulder and went to leave the room, Hana suddenly shot up out of her chair and shouted at him. "S-Sean-kun! If you really feel that way, maybe…maybe we could spend some time together tomorrow? I know this great place that serves great food, and we could go for a walk afterwards and…"
Sean turned slowly and quirked a brow as he looked his friend up and down for a moment before smirking at her. "Calm yourself Hana-san. I'd be happy to. Just tell me what time you want me to meet you and where and I'll be sure to be there, okay?"
Hana blushed up a storm and nodded slowly before grabbing a pad of paper and a pen. Quickly jotting down the information, she handed it to her green-eyed friend and smiled at him. "Here you go. I'll be sure to wear something nice for our date! Talk to you later Sean-kun!" Moving in closer, Hana kissed his cheek and rushed out of the room, leaving a completely befuddled Sean behind.
As his cheeks reddened, Sean went over what he had just heard and what had just happened in his mind over and over again until it all clicked. "Wait…date?! Why does nobody ever just come out and say what they're really thinking?" Blinking a few times as he made his way out of the clinic, the Uzumaki clan head rubbed the back of his head and stared at the paper in his left hand. "A date with Hana-san, huh? I have to say, I didn't expect that. Not at all."
When the Uzumaki male reached the gates of the Inuzuka compound and began walking out, he accidentally bumped into somebody, knocking the person over. Quickly helping the person up, Sean began to apologize before he realized who it was he had bumped into. "K-Kurenai-san? Are you okay?"
Realizing how close she was to Sean, the Genjutsu Mistress took a quick couple of steps back and fought down her blush. Nodding slowly, she looked towards the compound. "I'm alright, thank you Sean-ku…Sean-san. What were you doing here?" I still don't feel comfortable being around him alone like this! Why did I have to go and do that?!
Sean blinked and tried to figure out why his friend was acting so strange, but decided to just shrug it off. "I was speaking with Hana-san about her brother. I'm glad to hear that he's doing well after losing to Shino. Though I didn't expect for Hana-san to…" Starting to blush again, Sean shook his head and slipped the paper into one of his inner pockets, going quiet.
Kurenai twitched at what she heard, a pang of jealousy shooting through her at what she just heard, whether she realized it or not. "What did Hana do?"
The green-eyed male blinked, but shook his head. "It's nothing. But she did give me some information. Somebody leaked info about the most recent Council meeting and what came as a result of it. She warned me to be wary of women trying to 'court me'. It seems she's concerned." Sighing, Sean ran his fingers through his hair and scratched at the back of his head. "I just can't catch a damn break, I swear."
The Genjutsu Mistress frowned when Sean didn't tell her what her friend did. Damn it Sean, you avoided the question! Sighing to herself, Kurenai walked over and placed a hand on her friend's shoulder. "Sean, don't let those bastards get to you too much, okay? You have friends that are here for you and we'll do our very best to look out for you. I don't understand why they're doing these things though…"
Sean shrugged and gave Kurenai a gentle hug, causing the woman to break into a blush and her heart to start racing. "Thanks Kurenai-san. I appreciate it. I really do need to go though. If you're visiting Kiba, say hi for me, okay?" Separating from his friend, Sean Uzumaki waved good-bye to her and began walking off, once more missing the blush despite how evident it was!
Kurenai Yuhi smacked her face and started cursing herself. Damn it! I really need to avoid him until I get these feelings under control! But… Looking towards the clinic, the Genjutsu Mistress narrowed her eyes and clenched her hands into fists. Hana, you and I are having a talk. You asked him out, didn't you?! And with that, the crimson-eyed woman started towards the clinic, completely forgetting her original purpose in visiting the Inuzuka clan by this point.
Later – Uzumaki Household
Upon arriving at the Uzumaki household, the clan head reached out to open the door only to spin around and take a defensive stance as he felt somebody behind him. What he saw caused him to lower his arms and cock an eyebrow in confusion. Running towards him was a young Hyuga girl, one he recognized as Hinata's younger sister, Hanabi. Soon enough though, he saw three Hyuga males come into view. It appeared as if they were trying to catch the young lass.
When Hanabi saw the Uzumaki clan head, she screamed out to him. "Sean-sama, please help me! I don't want to go back there!"
She was desperate to get away from her clan, though the reason was unclear to Sean at this moment in time. Regardless of this, the blue-haired man nodded his head and threw three wind kunai straight at the Hyuga's, watching as easy of them dodged the attacks. With a shrug, Sean watched them activate their Byakugan just a tad too late. By the time they had done this, three Kaze Bunshin appeared behind them and knocked them out with some well placed strikes to the backs of their heads and necks. Nodding to the three Bunshin, Sean watched as the Hyuga's were lifted into their arms and carried off back towards the Hyuga compound.
Hanabi was shocked at how easily Sean had just taken down the three Branch members sent after her. Turning to him, the young lass hugged him tight and let the tears stream down her cheeks. "Thank you Sean-sama! Please, may I come inside?"
Sean nodded his head and guided the young girl into his home, sitting her on one of the couches before walking to the kitchen. Soon enough, the Wind God returned and sat beside her, handing her a cup of water. After taking a sip of water from his own cup, the kindhearted man smiled down at her. "Hanabi-chan, are you feeling a little better now? What happened?"
The young Hyuga took a few large gulps of water before taking in a deep breath and smiling up at Sean. "Thank you very much for the water Sean-sama." Bowing her head politely, the young lass then began to explain. "Do you remember the Council meeting where Hinata-onee-chan was exiled from the Hyuga clan?"
The Uzumaki head nodded his head slowly, a sigh escaping him after a moment. "I do. I remember quite clearly how I wanted to kill your father for being such an, excuse me for the language here, asshole. Hinata deserves better than that. Sure, she may be happy here and she's like an awesome younger sister to me, but I still think what your father did was wrong."
Hanabi chuckled quietly at that and nodded her head. "You're right. When I questioned tou-san about his decision, he seemed so angry. He claimed that Naruto-san is a negative influence on Hinata, and he didn't have anything good to say about you either Sean-sama."
Sean shrugged at that and smirked down at the young Hyuga. "I'm not surprised to hear that at all. After all, I've had perhaps the biggest influence on Naruto's life out of anyone he knows. It doesn't help matters any that your father has seen my bad side on occasion."
The young Hyuga girl shook her head and smiled up at him. "You could put it that way Sean-sama. Tou-san doesn't like you. Apparently he doesn't trust you, and after learning you're an Uzumaki, he said some things that Neji-nii-san and I didn't really care for."
Shaking her head again, Hanabi shrugged her shoulders and continued on. "What I was trying to say is that, after that meeting, tou-san was so furious he talked about how he could get to Hinata-nee-chan to put the Hyūga Sōke no Juinjutsu on her. Tou-san isn't the type to just let things go like that. But…he didn't want to cross you for fear of what that would bring. After the invasion however, things started getting worse."
Sean sighed and nodded his head in understanding. "I'm not surprised. After the last Council meeting, I figured somebody was going to do something. Inoichi made some pretty serious threats against me when I tried to stand up for his daughter. With those threats hanging in the air, and the fact that Hokage-sama is bedridden most of the time lately, it's a perfect chance for Hiashi to strike. It doesn't help that Hokage-sama has sent a team out to retrieve his replacement, the woman that will become our Godaime."
Shaking his head at the thought of this, the Uzumaki leaned back into the couch and stared at the ceiling. "Your father is probably amongst those that believe our Godaime will be easier to manipulate to get what they want. But he most likely believes the best chance to strike will be before her coronation." Glancing out of the corner of his eyes, Sean could see the young Hyuga looking at him concerned. "I would defend Hinata-chan and would most likely end up injuring or killing whoever Hiashi sends to take her. He would then proceed to act on Inoichi's threats, and, well…things would get bad. My best hope is that our Godaime is a stronger person than the Sandaime and won't cave in to people like your father as easily as the old man has."
Hanabi frowned at this and, after setting down her cup of water, threw her arms around Sean and hugged him as tight as she could. "I'm so sorry for your sufferings Sean-sama! My coming here probably hasn't helped any, has it?"
Sean chuckled at that and shook his head as he hugged the young lass close. "Don't worry about it Hanabi-chan. Though I do feel the need to ask: why did you come here? I never got the impression that you were all that fond of your sister."
The young Hyuga blushed a bit and looked away. "I never hated my nee-chan. I…didn't have a lot of respect for her, but I never hated her. Hinata-onee-chan is a good person and I love her very much. I don't want to see tou-san hurt her. I came because I'm worried about her. But…I also don't want to stay at home anymore. Tou-san's just not the same anymore. He's changed and he's starting to scare me. Please, don't make me go back there Sean-sama!"
The blue-haired male quirked a brow at this, but soon shrugged his shoulders and barked out a laugh. "Interesting. So Hiashi's losing both of his daughters because of his crappy attitude. Tell me Hanabi-chan, how old are you?"
Hanabi blinked at the odd question, but answered regardless. "I'm just a year younger than Hinata-onee-chan: I'm eleven years-old. Why?"
Sean nodded at that and shrugged again. "Alrighty then. I'll allow you to stay here under my protection Hanabi-chan. But it wouldn't be safe to try and get your things from the Hyuga compound. We'll have to go shopping later to get you the things you need. I'll show you to a room in a bit so you can get some rest. This will surely give Hiashi reason to try something, but I don't give a crap. You're safe here Hanabi-chan, no doubt about it." Smirking down at the youngling, the blue-haired male gently patted her atop the head. "Sadly, your sister isn't here right now. She's on that mission with Naruto-kun to find the Godaime. When she returns, I think you two need to sit down and talk for a while. Got it?"
Hanabi Hyuga smiled brightly and nodded her head. "Yes. Thank you Sean-sama! But, I do have another reason for wanting to stay here…" Seeing Sean's expression, the young lilac-eyed girl understood that he wished for her to continue. "I want to understand Naruto Uzumaki better. I want to make sure he's treating onee-chan right and that he's the right guy for her. As you said Sean-sama, Hinata-onee-chan deserves the best and I want to make sure she's truly happy here and with him."
Sean smirked at that and nodded his head in understanding. "I see. Well, when they return, you should try and get to know Naruto-kun better as well. You'll see what kind of person he is the more you spend time with him. In the meantime, I wouldn't recommend leaving the premises. I'll deal with your father and anyone he sends for you if need be, but leaving the compound wouldn't be a good idea."
With a shrug, Sean rose from the couch and walked outside for a moment. Quickly making a hand seal, the Uzumaki head activated a protective seal that had been set up around the entirety of the Uzumaki compound. Once this was done, he smiled and nodded his head before turning around to head back inside. However, Hanabi was standing right there looking up at him. Realizing what she was about to ask, Sean decided to explain. "Naruto's parents were seal masters. I simply activated a seal that will keep you and everyone else in the compound safe so long as they don't leave the grounds. Jima-chan and I have been working on creating more seals to do more, but for now, this is the best I can do."
Hanabi nodded in understanding before she walked with Sean up to her room. Looking around, she smiled happily and turned around, once more hugging the Uzumaki clan head. "Thank you Sean-sama! I'm sorry if I have brought trouble upon you with my actions, but I do sincerely appreciate you doing this for me."
The green-eyed Uzumaki chuckled at that and shook his head as he gently patted the brown-haired girl atop her head. "Don't worry so much about that. I get myself in enough trouble as is on my own, so it's really nothing new for me. I'll deal with it, I promise. You've been through a lot though, so I think you should go ahead and get some rest. I'll see if Tayuya and Kin can get you some clothing while you're resting, okay?"
The young, brown-haired girl nodded and let out a quiet yawn before rubbing at one of her eyes. "Thank you Sean-sama. It's not even dark out yet and I'm already so tired. I'll take your advice. Please take care." Nodding at each other, Hanabi Hyuga climbed under the blankets of her bed, curled up and quickly dozed off.
After she had fallen asleep, Sean nodded his head and smiled as he shut off the lights. Good night Hanabi-chan. Welcome to the family. Chuckling softly at the thought, the clan head closed the door behind him and walked back downstairs to the living room, groaning as he thought about everything that had happened so far in the day. It's as I thought. Things are going to get freaking bad soon. Though a date with Hana-san sounds kind of fun.
The Next Day – Outskirts of Tanzaku Quarters
The night Naruto and Hinata had made love, Fu had found them in the same positions they had fallen asleep in. Orochimaru quirked a brow at this, but shrugged his shoulders and motioned Kabuto forward. "Go on Kabuto, kill him." Smirking over at the blonde Jinchuriki, the Snake Sannin nodded slowly. "You can't beat Kabuto, Naruto-kun. But go ahead and dream your fancy little dream. I'll agree to your little deal."
As Naruto Uzumaki and Kabuto Yakushi began their battle, Jiraiya looked his old teammate over carefully. He was looking worse than before, but he seemed to be acting just fine. "Whatever the Wind God did to you is still bothering you, isn't it Orochimaru-teme?"
The Snake Sannin scoffed and glared over at the Toad Sannin. "What the hell would you know Jiraiya?! I beat that son-of-a-bitch and yet I still end up suffering for some reason! I just need to figure out what the hell's wrong with me and I can fix it…"
Jiraiya shook his head at that, but returned his gaze to the fight his godson was participating in. "It won't be that easy and you know it, don't you Orochimaru? Whatever Sean did to you…" Eyes widening in realization, the Toad Sannin turned to the Snake Sannin and curled his lips in anger. "You need Sean to fix it, don't you?!"
Orochimaru chuckled to himself as he looked straight at Jiraiya, a small smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. "I see you're starting to understand. If Tsunade can't help me, then I'm going to need to try something else. Now shut up and watch, or do I need to silence you permanently Jiraiya?"
Hinata frowned at this and looked up into the Toad Sannin's eyes. "Jiraiya-sama, what's going on? What do you mean he needs Sean?"
Jiraiya shook his head and glanced down at the young lavender-eyed woman. "If we let Orochimaru leave here alive, he's going to try and kidnap Sean. It would be suicide to try that by himself in his condition, so I'm certain he'll be sending others to capture the Wind God. I wonder when he'll try it though…"
Tsunade sighed and nodded her head in agreement. "It makes sense. Capture the one that caused these problems to begin with, keep him sedated, and do enough testing and even that shitty medic could figure out a way to cure his master. The problem is, he'd have to figure out some way for his henchmen to actually capture him. The Wind God would likely crush mostly anyone Orochimaru could send after him, so I'm not sure what the snake has up his sleeve…"
Fu grumbled at this and glared daggers at Orochimaru. "Seriously?! What the hell is up with all these dicks and having to screw with Naru-koi and Sean-sensei?! Haven't they been through enough already?!" Clenching her hands into fists tightly, the mint green-haired girl began shouting at the Snake Sannin. "We won't let you hurt Sean-sensei again you pedophilic bastard! If you know what's good for you, leave him alone!"
While the others were conversing, the blonde Jinchuriki quickly backflipped to dodge another attack from the enemy medic nin. Of course, while performing the backflip, Orochimaru's lap dog attempted a quick thrust with his left hand, aiming for Naruto's chest. So, activating a quick Futon jutsu, the blonde moved himself out of harm's way, landing a short distance away from his enemy. "Shit. He's faster than I thought he'd be."
Then an idea came to mind and Naruto found himself smirking. "Oh Orochimaru, your precious butt slave is about to get his ass handed to him now! I've just the way to beat him!" Quickly creating 35 Kage Bunshin, the blonde Jinchuriki had them spread out in a large circle around the four-eyed bastard. As Kabuto tried to determine which one to go after, they quickly flashed through hand seals and shouted out the same jutsu name. "Katon: Do-mu Kasai no Jutsu (Fire Release: Dome of Fire Technique)!"
Within an instant, strings of fire shot forth from the mouths and fingers of each of the Kage Bunshin, connecting together and forming a large dome of powerful, roaring fire that surrounded Kabuto Yakushi. Seeing what was happening, the four-eyed medic nin rushed towards the nearest Kage Bunshin and attempted to dispel it, only for a wall of fire to suddenly block his path. When he attempted to flash through hand seals to attempt to Kawarimi (Body Replacement), flames shot up from beneath him and forced him to abandon that plan in favor of just staying alive!
Finally, Kabuto looked towards the Naruto standing just a short distance from him, a powerful ball of chakra spinning in his right hand. Standing beside him was a Kage Bunshin that seemed to be doing something to this ball of chakra. "Kabuto, I hope you're ready for this. I've been working on this technique for some time now, and I think you're the perfect test subject for this one. Tell me how you like it, if you survive!" As flames began to merge with and surround the ball of chakra, the real Naruto rushed forward. He quickly ducked under Kabuto's first attack and slipped around his second before slamming the flaming ball of chakra into Kabuto's face. "Moeru You Na Rasengan (Burning Spiraling Sphere)!"
The attack caused his Naruto's foe to begin screaming in agony, only for flames to shoot down his throat and sear his lungs. At the same time, the sheer force of this attack caused Kabuto to fly into the wall of fire preventing his escape. The speed and power with which Kabuto hit the wall of fire not only took away what little breath there was left in Kabuto's lungs, but it also destroyed the back half of his body! Finally, after collapsing to the ground and the flames had subsided, everyone was allowed a closer look to see just what kind of state the four-eyed young man was in. What they saw had some feeling sick; Kabuto's head was gone! It had been destroyed by the attack and the flames had burned his neck to the point that no blood was flowing. It was just a mass of scarred tissue at this point.
Glaring at the body of his opponent, Naruto dispelled his Kage Bunshin and took a step closer. "Try healing that you asshole! Oh, that's right, you can't!" Turning at this point, Naruto Uzumaki pointed his finger at Orochimaru and he began shouting at him. "Tell me what you know about Sean-sensei's parents you bastard!"
Orochimaru's left eyebrow was raised and his face was giving many involuntary twitches as he just watched the lifeless body of his medic lying there on the ground. "This…can't be possible…" Shaking his head, the Snake Sannin glared hatefully at the blonde Jinchuriki. "You little shit! You killed him!"
The whiskered blonde scratched the back of his head and shrugged. "Uh, yeah. Wasn't that kind of the point?" Chuckling at this point, Naruto looked carefully into Orochimaru's eyes and smirked. "I don't feel any remorse over it either. I've…actually had time to get used to death. On my first C-rank mission, we…ended up killing people. Since we were in the middle of a mission, the three of us did our best not to let it affect us. We waited until later to deal with what happened in our own ways. Since then, there were a few other missions where I had to kill somebody, and as much as I hate to say it…I'm used to it already. Still, killing people like Kabuto? That won't make me feel any remorse." Sighing, the blue-eyed boy nodded his head and folded his arms across his chest. "Now answer me Orochimaru!"
The Snake Sannin snarled at this, but nodded his head. "Fine then. There's not a damn thing you can do with this information anyways. Still, tell Sean what I'm about to tell you. He'll seek me out in due time, I'm certain of it." Smirking evilly, the slippery snake began to talk about the Uzumaki's finally. "I lost track of Sean's parents. The last I heard of them, they were in Kaminari no Kuni (Land of Lightning). My plan was to take them and perhaps run a few little 'experiments' to see if I could harness their power in some way. Unfortunately, they just 'disappeared' and I don't have a clue where they are."
Shrugging his shoulders, Orochimaru looked skywards and laughed to himself. "Since I'm feeling so 'nice' today, I'll go ahead and give you a little more information. I have Sean's siblings held in three of my hideouts. His brother and two sisters. There is another Uzumaki that works for me that's in charge of another of my hideouts by the name of Karin. You should know that she is Sean's niece. With this much information, Sean-kun will have no choice but to seek me out. When he does, I'll be waiting! I'll use his very niece to get what I need from that bastard!"
With that said, Orochimaru quickly disappeared using a simple technique of his that he could still use without hand seals. When he was gone, Jiraiya cursed and clenched his hands into fists. "Shit! I didn't expect him to just flee like that! He's going to find some way to capture Sean, and when he does…"
Naruto shook his head and soon collapsed to his knees. "I can't believe he has so many of them. Sean's siblings, or at least three of them, are being held as test subjects and then his own niece is willingly helping that bastard?! What kind of sick twist of fate is that?! How the hell am I supposed to tell Sean-sensei about all of this?!"
Jiraiya stepped forward and placed one of his large hands on his godson's left shoulder. "I don't think we should. Orochimaru wants us to tell Sean so that he will go in search of Orochimaru and his bases. The Wind God's mental state isn't the best and I don't trust him to remain calm should we give him this kind of information."
Hinata stepped forward and shook her head at this point. "We have to tell Sean-sama about this! I know it's a risk, but we should trust in him to remain calm and think about everything rationally! He already knows that Orochimaru knows something about him and his parents, but has Sean-sama left yet? No! He…may not be in the best state of mind right now, and things may be bad for him in the village, but Sean's a capable ninja and a capable person. I trust him not to do anything rash."
Shizune stepped forward and nodded her head, clutching Tonton to her chest while Fu talked with Tsunade in an attempt to help her overcome her hemophobia. After all, with Naruto blowing Kabuto's head up, it's only natural that would be acting up because of it! Naruto had actually gone over to help Tsunade out as well, and it seemed the two Jinchuriki were having a major effect on the Senju woman.
So, while they were doing this, the younger medic nin spoke in protest to Jiraiya's plan. "Jiraiya-sama, please don't try to keep this kind of information from Sean-san. I truly believe that we should be able to trust in him. Besides that, Sean-san deserves to know what we've learned! It's his family that's involved after all! What the Wind God does with this information is up to him. We have no right to keep this from him for our own selfish desires. I, for one, would gladly help Sean-san if he wanted to hunt down Orochimaru to rescue his family, and we haven't even met yet!"
The white-haired Sannin shook his head and looked away. "Damn it, fine! But I won't be held responsible if he leaves the village in pursuit of his selfish goals! There are people that rely on him in Konoha, people that need him. You may trust him to think and act rationally, but I don't. I can't even tell if he's a Human for crying out loud!"
This particular comment angered most of the group, some of them even wanting to injure Jiraiya for it! However, Tsunade soon rose and spoke up, her queasiness and shaking having minimized by this point due to the help of the Jinchuriki. "Jiraiya, I thought you were better than that." Sighing heavily, Tsunade Senju patted Naruto and Fu on their heads and smiled down at them. "Sean will be fine. As you said, he has people that rely on him, but there's more to it than that. These same people that rely on him also care for him. No matter what, there are people that will help Sean through all of these problems, including this one. As for that last comment of yours…I think we'll just ignore that one." Turning away, the beautiful, buxom woman shrugged her shoulders and waved her hand. "Now let's get back to the inn and get some rest. We'll want to set out for Konoha in the morning."
Konoha – Later that Night
Sean was currently sitting on one of the couches in the living room with his three girlfriends sitting around him. He was dressed in a handsome suit, but had forgone a tie simply because he didn't feel comfortable wearing one. Sighing, he leaned his head back and looked at the ceiling. "I am seriously confused here." The Wind God started, trying to figure out how to talk to the three of them about this. They already knew about his date tonight, but he really wanted to clear the air, so to speak. "I went to talk with her about Kiba and then I told her we should talk with each other more often. You know, get to know each other better as people? Then she asked me if I wanted to spend some time with her tonight. How was I supposed to know she was asking me out on a date?!"
The three women each sweat dropped at this before Jima smacked her cousin in the back of the head. "You're a real idiot, you know that? But that's just one of your loveable qualities Seanie-kun." Leaning in close, Jima kissed him passionately and giggled happily. "Mmm, still as soft as ever."
Seeing Sean blushing furiously at this, Anko decided to pipe in. "I don't mind if she wants to be with you. Hana-chan's a good person and she's a good friend of mine. I just didn't think she'd do something like that so suddenly. I knew she had a crush on you, but damn."
Ino sighed and nodded her head slowly. "It's okay with me too sweetie. Just enjoy your date and don't be out too late, okay? We don't know when somebody might try something."
Sean sighed at that, but nodded his head slowly. "Yeah, I know. I'm just…confused, y'know? I wanted to take Jima-chan out tonight." Looking into his cousin's eyes, Sean smiled awkwardly and shrugged his shoulders. "After all, I've been on six dates with Anko-hime, two with Ino-koi, and zero with you Jima-chan. It doesn't feel very fair to me. I didn't expect for this to happen. Can you forgive me?"
Jima adopted a thinking pose for a short while and pretended to tap her finger against her chin in thought. After a couple of minutes, she smirked at her cousin and nodded slowly. "I forgive you Honey. Buuut…" The other girls didn't like the sound of where this was going… "You're really going to have to 'make it up to me' later. I want something extra special at the end of our first date Seanie-kun. I promise you that I will get what I want."
Realizing exactly what Jima meant, Anko shot up off the couch and pointed her finger at the blue-haired woman in anger. "Hey! You can play with him if you want, but I'll be taking his virginity Missy!"
Ino glared at both of them at this point. "Hey! Who says that I won't be the one he gives it to?!"
Jima smirked at that and looked down at the blonde. "Oh? You're a tad young for that yet Ino-chan. Nice try though." Turning her gaze to Anko, the bluenette grinned more. "We could always play rock-paper-scissors to decide who gets his virginity. I think that's a fair way to decide."
Anko and Ino were about to agree when they noticed Sean wasn't in the room anymore. Glancing towards the door, they saw it wide open and heard the sound of footsteps moving rapidly away from them. Looking at each other, Anko decided to voice a question the three of them happened to be thinking. "Do you think we scared him away?"
A short time later – outside a Restaurant
Sean was panting as he reached the restaurant he was supposed to be meeting Hana Inuzuka at. Leaning back against the wall of the restaurant, he wanted to slump down to the ground, but worried about ruining his suit. That really wouldn't help me make a good impression on Hana-san. Yeah, let's get your suit covered with dirt and walk around looking like you just got out of a fight. That would be brilliant Sean!
Sighing to himself, the shy man closed his eyes and shook his head. "Damn. Things have been absolutely crazy lately, but I did not expect for that to happen. Trying to decide something like that with a game is crazy!" After shouting this out, the Wind God noticed the stares he was receiving and blushed slightly before apologizing to everyone around him for disturbing them.
Soon enough, his beautiful date walked up to him and leaned forward slightly to look him in the eyes and get his attention. "Hi there Handsome. You look like a nervous wreck. Did something happen?"
Sean went to look into his date's eyes, but found his eyes drifting to her cleavage on accident. His date was wearing a beautiful blue dress that had an open back and hugged her body in a comfortable, but very beguiling way that left little to the imagination. A decent amount of cleavage was visible, but thankfully, unlike with the dresses Anko liked to wear, Hana's didn't have a slit going along the legs. Sean swore that sometimes his Snake Mistress girlfriend would purposely try to show off just enough of her legs that he would be able to see her panties if he looked at just the right angle!
Mind returning to the present, Sean blushed profusely and shook his head. "N-Nothing Hana-chan. Things have just been kind of crazy lately and my, erm…girlfriends back at the house were acting a little crazy before I left." Chuckling nervously at that, Sean rubbed the back of his head with his left hand while gently taking her left hand with his right. "Shall we go inside my dear?"
Hana Inuzuka blushed at this, but nodded slowly and walked inside with her crush. After stating the name that their reservation was under, the two were led to a booth near the back of the restaurant and, rather than sit across from each other, the two sat together. The lovely woman laid her head upon his shoulder and poked him in the side. "What were those three doing before you left? I'm curious."
Sean blushed at this, but nodded slowly as the two of them looked over their menus. "Uhhh…I was apologizing to Jima-chan about not taking her on a date like I had planned for tonight. Then…that somehow led into the three of them deciding to play a game of rock-paper-scissors to determine which of them would get to take my virginity of all things. I…kind of ran away as fast as I could…"
Hana began to giggle furiously at this before leaning up and kissing Sean's cheek. "You are so cute! I'm not surprised that they would do that. It definitely sounds like something the three of them would do. But…" Frowning, Hana looked down and folded her hands in her lap as she went over what the Wind God had just said. "I apologize if I ruined your plans for the night."
The Uzumaki clan head quickly shook his head and grasped his date's hands. "Don't worry about it Hana-chan! I'm…glad you asked me out. I want to get to know you better. You're a wonderful person and a good friend, but we just haven't talked enough. I feel like I don't know you as well as I would like to. So please, don't worry about it alright?"
The beautiful brown-haired woman nodded and nestled her head into the crook of his neck again. "Thank you Sean-kun. You're a good person. You're so caring and sweet, and…well, I could probably list a number of great qualities that I see in you, but I think we have to order our food now." Giggling to herself at that, the two ordered their meals and handed their menus over before returning to their discussion. "I have to wonder something though. After you left yesterday, Kurenai entered the clinic and started yelling at me."
Sean blinked at this and looked curiously into Hana's eyes. "Really? From what I understood, you two got along pretty well. Why would she yell at you like that? I thought for sure she was going to see Kiba."
Hana giggled at this and shook her head. "I don't think she went to see Kiba at all yesterday. It seems that she bumped into you at the gate?" Seeing him nod his head, the Inuzuka woman nodded slowly in kind. "Apparently you must have said something, because she seemed pretty upset about the fact you and I had planned a date for tonight. When I asked her why she cared when she has Asuma-san, Kurenai just kind of…froze. It's almost like she didn't realize quite what she was doing. If you ask me, I think she's got feelings for you big guy."
When Hana lightly slapped Sean on his chest, he chuckled nervously and stared blankly into her eyes. "Is…that so? Well…crap. That would explain why she's been avoiding me. I should probably just leave her alone for a while then. She doesn't need any more confusion after all."
Hana Inuzuka smirked at that before she moved a little closer and kissed Sean sweetly on his lips, returning his attention to her. "You shouldn't have to do that. I think Kurenai's just being silly, myself." Shrugging, she gave Sean another kiss and smiled sweetly at him. "I could always try and set something up for the two of you so you can just talk if you'd like?"
Sean quickly shook his head and smiled sweetly at his black-eyed date. "Don't. It's fine." Shrugging, the Wind God looked down at his hands and sighed. "I don't want to lose a friend over something like this. If she needs to take the time to sort things out, then I can wait for her to approach me so we can talk again. Yeah, I'll miss my friend in the meantime, but what can ya do, right?"
The Inuzuka woman shook her head and sighed. "See? You're a sweetheart Sean-kun. I still think she's being stupid about this, but if you're sure, I won't pressure either of you into talking with each other." With a shrug, she looked back into his eyes and gently brushed her fingers against his cheek. "Even if it was to talk about my brother, I really was glad you visited yesterday, you know?"
The green-eyed male nodded and hugged Hana close. "When you asked me out, I couldn't help but feel stupid for saying something like that. I'm not good at recognizing when a woman is interested in me, as I'm sure you could already tell just by watching me." Seeing her smirk, Sean knew that he was right about that. "If I had known about your feelings, I would've tried to talk more about you or…or…I dunno, pancakes or something?"
At hearing this, Hana started giggling uncontrollably and she hugged Sean tight. "You said that just to make me laugh, didn't you?" Seeing him smirk at her, the young Inuzuka woman nodded her head. "Well it worked. You…have no idea how long I've liked you for Sean-kun. I didn't even think you noticed me. But now, here we are on a date and I couldn't be happier!"
Sean quirked a brow and gently began running his fingers through Hana's beautiful brown hair. "Of course I noticed you Hana-chan. You're a very beautiful woman, both inside and out. Not everyone can say that about themselves, trust me. But, there's more to it than just that. I've always enjoyed what conversations we got to have. I've also found your company to be rather enjoyable as well. You're…neat-o!"
Giggling again, Hana Inuzuka nodded and wrapped her arms about his neck, pulling him in for another kiss. This one was much deeper and far more passionate, however, and it lasted for a good couple of minutes. When their food finally arrived after another couple of minutes, the two finally separated, huge blushes covering their faces. "T-Thank you waitress." Sean muttered, clearly feeling just a tad embarrassed.
Hana was blushing furiously after what had just transpired. She had butterflies in her stomach and was finding it absolutely impossible to speak at this moment in time! So, she settled for eating her meal and occasionally taking a sip of her drink, remaining silent as she did.
Sean smirked at this and decided to let his date be for the time being as he, too, began to eat. When they were finally finished, Sean dabbed at his mouth with his cloth, paid for their bill, and rose from the booth, helping Hana up and out as well. It didn't take long for the two to wash up in the bathroom and meet again just outside.
Taking each other's hands, the new couple walked through the streets, just enjoying each other's company and talking about whatever happened to come to mind. After a time though, Sean remembered something and decided to speak up about it. "Hana-chan." Seeing he now had her attention, the Wind God continued. "Hanabi Hyuga-chan ran away to my home yesterday after I returned home from running my errands. The reason I say this now is because she's currently living there now. I fully expect Hiashi to attempt something soon. Whether it's an attempted attack or Hiashi attempting to go through with Inoichi's threats…I don't know. But if you really want to be with me, I felt you should know to expect things like this with me."
Hana stopped and reached up a hand, cupping Sean's cheek and smiling kindly up at him. "Sean-kun, I don't care about that. I told you how I feel about you. I'm just glad to be here with you right now. If anything happens, know that you'll always have me by your side no matter what. I want you to feel like you can rely on me. I hope nothing happens, but if it does, I'll help in any way I can."
Sean nodded at this and kissed Hana Inuzuka sweetly, holding her close against him as he did. When they parted, he smirked down at her. "I could definitely get used to the feel of your lips on mine Hana-chan." Seeing her blush, the Wind God chuckled softly to himself before the both of them noticed something, or rather someone a short distance from where they were. A purple-haired ANBU was kneeling in front of the memorial stone nearby and they could both hear the distinct sound of weeping as this particular member of ANBU removed her mask.
Stepping closer, Sean frowned at what he saw. "Yugao-san…" Seeing that he accidentally startled the woman, Sean quickly threw up his hands in a placating manner and smiled softly at her while Hana stood at his side. "Yugao, I didn't expect to see you here so late in the day. I know it must hurt tremendously to have lost your beloved in such a way. If I could somehow bring him back for you, know that I would."
When his friend looked about to speak, the Wind God raised his hand and shook his head. "Yugao-san, before you thank me for that, there's something I need to say. I know it hurts, but you shouldn't beat yourself up so much over what happened. Hold Hayate and your memory of him in your heart, but don't waste away by wallowing in your misery. He was a good man worthy of respect and I shall miss him too, but I would personally like to honor his memory by protecting the village that he loved. And, I would like to help the woman that he loved as well. Besides, you are my friend Yugao-san, and I'm concerned for you. I don't think Hayate would want to see you like this. It will be hard, but you can move on from this and grow stronger as a result. "
Sean sighed and shook his head at this point. "I must sound like a damn hard ass, but I just want you to know I care Yugao-san. You've been a good friend to me, and you were there watching over me when I was in the hospital. Now…I think it's my turn to be here for you. If you ever, ever need someone to talk to about this pain, you are more than welcome to seek me out. Let this experience guide you to becoming a stronger, better person and cherish your memory of him. You're a wonderful person, so I know you will one day find true happiness. Just…please take care of yourself and don't give into your depression." Shrugging, the Wind God turned away and spoke a few final words as he began walking away with Hana. "You're a strong person Yugao-san. You'll be just fine."
As soon as they were out of earshot of Yugao, Hana smirked and poked Sean in the chest. "See? You're a sweetheart! This is why women fall for you Sean-kun."
Sean smirked at that and looked into Hana's eyes. "Even you, my dear, beautiful flower?" Seeing her deep blush, the kindhearted man leaned in and captured the woman's lips in another passionate, romantic kiss. When they parted, he grinned at her again. "I'm glad you asked me out Hana-chan. This has been a wonderful night."
Hana nodded and hugged him close, resting her head against him as they walked. "Yes, even me Sean-kun. I…I do l-lo…" Sadly, before Hana could finish speaking, a kunai came flying directly at Sean's head. Quickly reacting, she caught the blade out of the air by its handle and spun around, glaring into the darkness. "Who the hell is interrupting my date with my sweetie?!"
Sean found himself sighing as at least a dozen Hyuga stepped out of the shadows, each with their Byakugan active. "Hiashi-sama has demanded your death, Sean Uzumaki. Do not resist."
Twitching at that, the Wind God looked around and chuckled darkly. "'Do not resist.'? You've got to be kidding me?! You interrupt my date with my beautiful flower petal, pissing me off, and freaking threaten to kill me, and I'm not supposed to resist?! After everything Hiashi has done, I'll keep his daughters safe from him no matter what. And I'll make sure you jerks suffer for interrupting what was a truly perfect night for the two of us!" With that, Sean summoned a wind sword into his left hand and a small crossbow formed purely of wind into his right. "By the time I'm done with all of you, you'll definitely regret coming after me. Of course, that's only if you survive…"

Feeling like crap right now. Pretty much 100% certain I've got another hernia. This would be the third hernia I've had...I think. It's either the third or fourth one. Hurts like hell. Need to get in and see my doctor, and I'll likely have to get surgery again to deal with it. But yeah, kinda used to the feeling after having at least two hernias before. Anyways, point is, I started feeling really crummy and just wanted to curl up, cry, and sleep. lol. Sooo...yeah. *shrugs*
