I listened to 'Heaven' by DJ Sammy WAY too much yesterday and this was the result. I know I haven't written much lately and this is pretty bad but I'm sorry. It's hard to write with everything going on. I hope this is good enough for those who care. I also wanted to get away from writing about something related to love. It's hard for me to write about it since I've never been through it.--------------------------------
"Even monsters go to heaven, stupid."
The sentence had been floating through the blonde's mind, each ounce of logic, (which wasn't much), questioning and prodding the phrase. Each word was said with such ease that it was hard to smother his excitement. What made it questionable, however, was who had said it. Gaara, his red haired freak of a friend. What did he know about monsters, anyway?
"Hey Gaara-chan, are you really sure about that? How do you know for sure?"
The silence that was now upon them seemed somewhat awkward, causing the blonde to shift uncomfortably. After awhile he shifted his sapphire eyes to glance at his friend. Was he...?
"I didn't mean to-"
"I don't actually know for sure, really. It's just a hope that I hang onto and whether you choose to believe it depends on you."
Naruto sighed and thought about it for a moment. He wanted to know for sure but he took Gaara's word for it. After all, dying didn't seem so frightening if he thought of it that way.
"What do you know about monsters, huh?"
Again silence was upon them as the question was being pondered, this one more uncomfortable than the last. It was awhile before the red head answered, voice quieter than usual.
"Because I, Naru-chan, am one of those referred to as monsters as well."
Naruto stared at his friend for awhile, eyes wide with surprise. The answer he received was something he never expected to hear. Then again, Gaara had never lied to him so who was he to not believe it? A smile then spread across his features, one that was wide with happiness.
"Well then we can go to heaven together. As monsters."

I'm sorry this turned out really bad and sappy but it's all I can really muster up at the moment. I plan on writing something with a little more fluffiness tonight or tomorrow, thanks to my friend Tash. She wrote an awesomely fluffy Gaara x Lee in my notebook. Gotta love that pairing, too.
