A/N - Alrighty, as you can see, I decided to update this fic. The first thing you should know about this chapter is that there's both a lime and a lemon in this chapter. Hopefully you enjoy those if you read them. You don't HAVE to, as you won't miss anything too important, but still, hopefully you enjoy them.

Chapter 20 - Kekkei Genkai & Confessions

A full day had passed since Sean was attacked and placed in a medically induced coma. While he laid in the hospital, Hiruzen decided to pay a visit to Hiashi in the Konohagakure prison. Looking at him with a stern gaze, the Sandaime Hokage motioned for his ANBU to hold him down. Once he was pinned down, Hiruzen said, "He's all yours Doctor Mibushi. I'd like to get his eyes to Sean-kun before Tsunade gets here."

Dr. Mibushi was a tall woman at a height of 6'. She had blue eyes and long, brown hair and was dressed in a lab coat and basic scrubs. Snapping on some gloves, she approached Hiashi and inserted a needle into the areas around his eyes, pumping some numbing medication into his system.

Waiting for about five minutes, the doctor prepared a jar full of a special liquid that would preserve Hiashi's eyes until they could be transplanted into Sean. Setting that down at her side, Mibushi began to use a Chakra Scalpel to remove Hiashi's eyes as carefully as she could. Despite the numbing medication, he still screamed, cursing the doctor as she removed his eyes. "You rotten bitch! How dare you do this to me?!"

Sighing, Dr. Mibushi placed the first eye in the jar before she went about removing Hiashi's second eye. "Say what you want Hiashi, but you brought this on yourself. If you had only left well enough alone, things wouldn't have gotten so bad." she said as she placed the second eye in the jar.

Now that she was finished, Mibushi turned to the Hokage and bowed. "We're good to go Hokage-sama." Nodding his head, the Hokage left Hiashi's cell with the good doctor and the two of them proceeded to make their way out of the prison. It was time to give Sean Hiashi's Byakugan.

Hospital

Upon entering Sean's room at the hospital, Hiruzen and Mibushi saw Sakura and Anko watching over the clan head. Sakura was currently holding his hand and talking to him, but when she noticed the Hokage, she quickly stood up and bowed to him. "Hokage-sama! What brings you here Sir?"

Waving her off, Hiruzen stepped forward and smiled down at Sean. "I've decided that now is the perfect time to perform the transplant of Hiashi's Byakugan into Sean-kun. We're going to take Sean-kun for a short while. You're welcome to wait here for him if you want." he said before he motioned for a couple of doctors to come in and take Sean for the operation.

After Sean was wheeled out of the room, Sakura piped up with a question. "What made you decide to go through with giving Sean-sama the Byakugan?"

The Sandaime Hokage frowned and shrugged his shoulders. "Despite the idea being brought up by Danzo, the suggestion held merit. It's one way to repay Sean-kun for all that the Hyuga's have done to him. They've been a thorn in his side for a while now and Hiashi and the Elders of the Hyuga clan were corrupt as could be. Once they're removed, somebody worthy of the position can take over as Hyuga clan head. I just hope that they don't end up being worse than Hiashi. But that's not what you asked, now is it?"

Sighing, Hiruzen stroked his beard and thought it over. "Honestly? Besides the fact that it's one way to repay Sean-kun for what happened to him, I'm a little curious to see what he's capable of with the Byakugan. He's still a mystery, even to me, and I can't help but wonder if his unique chakra will affect the Byakugan in some way. There's something special about Sean-kun, and I want to nurture his gifts and see him grow to his full potential. As it stands, I can't help but wonder if he's stagnating somehow. As if he isn't being allowed to grow any further. I'm hoping this will help him in some way. Every little bit counts after all."

Anko piped up at this point with a frown on her face. "So in essence, this is some kind of experiment? Is that it? Because I don't like my Seanie being treated like a lab rat Hokage-sama."

The Hokage sighed and shook his head. "I didn't mean for it to sound like that. I genuinely care about Sean-kun's wellbeing, and I want to do everything in my power to help him become stronger so that he's strong enough to protect his loved ones without anything getting in the way of his growth."

Before anyone could say anything more, one of the surgeons came rushing into the room with wide, panicked eyes. "Hokage-sama! Come quickly! Something strange is happening with Sean-sama!"

Eyes going wide, the Hokage and the girls went rushing out of the room, following after the surgeon as he led them to the operating room. Once they were inside, they saw something that shocked them to the core. "W-what on Earth?!" Hiruzen exclaimed in disbelief.

All around Sean's body, water was swirling about and flailing around, knocking things aside and causing a variety of problems. One of the surgeons quickly rushed over and bowed to the Hokage. "Hokage-sama! We managed to transplant the Byakugan into him, but shortly afterwards...well, you can see it for yourself. His chakra's out of control! But...it's strange. The water is acting exactly like the wind does for him. It's as if his chakra nature has changed from wind to water. It doesn't make any sense!"

Sakura narrowed her eyes and took a step closer to Sean, her mind racing. When it finally struck her, the pinkette looked into the Hokage's eyes. "I think he's awakened a kekkei genkai! That's the only explanation I can think of for the sudden shift in his elemental nature. So instead of being the Wind God, he's now the God of Water. But the question is: why is this happening now? With how long he's gone without awakening this kekkei genkai, there has to be some reason it has awakened now of all times."

One of the surgeons had a theory about this and began to explain his thought process. "If I had to wager a guess, I'd say that the introduction of another kekkei genkai acted as a trigger to awaken his dormant kekkei genkai. I've heard about this happening in the past, but I never thought I'd witness it for myself."

Hiruzen nodded in understanding. "That's the best working theory we have right now. Sean-kun has always been a mystery, and this only raises further questions for us. We'll have to ask him about this when he awakens. I just hope Tsunade gets here soon…"

Naruto's Group

"So why exactly did we not do this earlier?" Fu asked irritably as she looked down at the ground below them. "It would have saved us a lot of time…"

The group was currently riding atop the large toad known as Gamabunta, moving as fast as the toad could go in order to get back to the village of Konohagakure. When they found out that Jiraiya had the ability to do this right from the beginning, Fu had kicked him in the balls out of frustration with him. Naturally, this caused him to scream out to the high heavens, but he didn't retaliate, knowing that with Tsunade and Naruto there, it wouldn't end well for him.

Jiraiya sighed and shook his head. "Because I wasn't thinking. I was more focused on Sean's condition and other matters that I completely forgot about this method of travel. But look! We're almost there!" he shouted out, pointing ahead towards the village that they could see in the distance.

It didn't take much longer for Gamabunta to reach the village, and upon doing so, he let the group down before saying, "I hope your cousin will be okay Naruto. Take care, all of you." Shortly after saying this, Gamabunta vanished in a puff of smoke, returning to Mt. Myoboku.

Tsunade looked down at her godson for a moment before saying, "I'm heading to the hospital. I need to check on Sean and see what needs to be done in order to save his life. Jiraiya, you should go find sensei and report in. Naruto-kun, I assume you're coming with me?"

Naruto nodded. "Of course! Hina-chan, Fu-chan, and I are coming with you to the hospital. We need to make sure Sean-sensei's okay. So let's get going already!" he said, his impatience shining through.

The busty blonde nodded and began to hurry off with the majority of the group towards the hospital. Jiraiya, the only one remaining, released a sigh and shook his head. "I hope he'll be alright as well, but a little patience goes a long way." he said to himself before he vanished in a Body Flicker, heading for the Hokage Tower.

Hospital

Upon arriving at the hospital, Tsunade immediately asked the receptionist where Sean Uzumaki was. As soon as she got the room number, she hurried to the fourth floor with Naruto and the others hot on her heels. Rushing to his room, Tsunade stepped inside only to freeze in shock at what she was seeing.

There, on the bed, was Sean Uzumaki. But he was practically radiating chakra! First it would be water swirling around him, then suddenly it would change and a huge breeze would flow throughout the room. His chakra continued to change its nature back and forth between wind and water, and it was making it hard to approach him.

As they entered the room behind Tsunade, the group's eyes all widened in shock at what they were seeing. "Tsunade-sama, what on Earth are we seeing here?"

"We believe he's awakened a kekkei genkai that's been dormant all his life." a familiar voice said from behind them.

Jumping in shock, they all turned around to see Hiruzen standing there with Jiraiya beside him. When what the Hokage said registered in their minds, they all quickly turned back around to look at Sean again. "A dormant kekkei genkai? Why did it suddenly awaken now?" Tsunade questioned.

The Sandaime sighed and shook his head. "I...had Hiashi Hyuga's Byakugan removed and transplanted into Sean. It would seem that the introduction of one kekkei genkai reached out to and awakened the other one that he was born with. As you can no doubt see, his chakra nature keeps changing. I can't help but wonder about the potential of such a kekkei genkai." he explained.

Jiraiya spoke up at this point. "You're wondering if he'll unlock other chakra natures by means of this kekkei genkai of his, aren't you sensei?"

Nodding his head in confirmation, Hiruzen took a step forward and looked calmly at Sean Uzumaki. "He's something special. There's never been another ninja quite like him before. We cannot let someone with so much potential die. Tsunade-chan, if we temporarily seal his chakra, can you heal him?"

Tsunade frowned at this and shrugged her shoulders uncertainly. "I would need to perform a scan to see the extent of the damage. However, judging on what I'm seeing right now, he's fighting hard to stay alive. I'm certain that with a will like his, I'll be able to save his life." she said.

Nodding his head in understanding, Hiruzen looked to Jiraiya. "Jiraiya-kun, please seal his chakra for the time being. At least until Tsunade-chan can heal him."

Jiraiya nodded once before stepping forward. As he approached, Sean's chakra nature switched back to wind again and a powerful breeze began to blow once more. Quickly pushing forward, the white-haired Sannin slapped a premade seal on his forehead and proceeded to seal his chakra using said seal.

As soon as Sean's chakra receded, Tsunade hurried forward and began to perform a medical scan to see the extent of the damage. When she finished, she released a heavy sigh and shook her head. "Damn. Just what happened exactly sensei? I need to know everything before I even attempt to heal him."

Hiruzen sighed and took a seat on a nearby chair. "A few nights ago, Sean was on a date with Hana Inuzuka. While on their date, the two of them were attacked by a number of Branch House Hyuga. Sean defeated most of them, and even captured one alive so we could interrogate him for information about who ordered the attack and what the goal was and so on. Sadly, one of the Hyuga's managed to land a lucky shot on Sean, managing to strike his heart. Sean managed to avoid a fatal blow, but his heart was damaged from the strike. Our medics did everything they could for him, but they admitted that they needed you Tsunade-chan. I'm relying on you to save his life."

Frowning at this information, the gorgeous medic turned back to Sean and said, "I can save him. However, he'll need to remain in the hospital for observation afterwards. Shizune, get over here. I'm going to need you to monitor his vitals for me while I work on repairing the damage that's been done."

"Yes ma'am!" Shizune exclaimed before handing Tonton to Hinata. Hurrying over to Sean's other side, the lovely black-haired medic prepared to do as she was instructed by her master.

"Alright, let's begin." Tsunade said before she got to work repairing the damage that had been done to Sean's heart.

As Tsunade got to work, Jiraiya turned to Hiruzen and motioned for him to follow him out into the hallway. Nodding in understanding, the Sandaime Hokage followed his old student out of the room and closed the door behind them. "What is it Jiraiya-kun? This had best be important."

"Trust me, I wouldn't have pulled you out of there if this wasn't important sensei." Jiraiya assured the Sandaime. "We encountered Orochimaru in Tanzaku Quarters. Naruto-kun managed to kill his protege, Kabuto Yakushi. However, that isn't the main focus of this conversation. What does need to be said is that Naruto-kun managed to extract information from Orochimaru about the Uzumaki clan; namely Sean's family members. Orochimaru has one Uzumaki working for him and he currently has three Uzumaki's held captive as prisoners in three separate hideouts. Sean's brother and two sisters." he explained.

When Hiruzen went to speak, Jiraiya shook his head and continued speaking. "Sensei, the others don't agree with me on this, but I don't think we should inform Sean about this. If he finds out, there's a chance he may desert the village and hunt down Orochimaru and his hideouts. He's needed here."

The Sandaime frowned at his student at hearing this. Sighing, he said, "I understand your concern Jiraiya-kun, but if we keep this information from him and he finds out from an alternate source, perhaps some of Orochimaru's men, that would be even worse. We have to tell him." When Jiraiya opened his mouth to protest, Hiruzen leveled a glare on him that froze him in place. "I've made my decision Jiraiya-kun. Sean-kun deserves to know about his family. What he does with that information is entirely up to him." he said before reentering the room.

Outside in the hallway, Jiraiya clenched his fists angrily and shook his head. "That's a mistake. But fine then, if Sean decides to desert, I'll beat the shit out of him and drag him back whether they like it or not."

Inside the room, Tsunade took a moment longer before she finally cancelled her technique and stepped back from Sean's bed. Wiping some sweat from her forehead, she smiled down at the young man for a moment before looking at the others. "He'll be fine now. I'm going to wake him up so we can talk to him about what's happened."

Hiruzen nodded and watched as Tsunade removed his IV drip and woke the Uzumaki head up. When Sean's eyes slowly opened, Hiruzen took a step forward and looked into his eyes. "Sean-kun. How do you feel?"

Sean reached up and ripped the seal off his forehead, nullifying its effects on his chakra. When he attempted to sit up, he felt a hand pushing him back down. Looking to see who it was, his eyes widened when he saw one of the most beautiful women he had ever laid eyes on. "Wow. Talk about a beautiful sight to wake up to." Sean said sincerely.

Tsunade's eyes went wide and she blushed a pretty shade of red at the sudden compliment. Sure, people often complimented her on her looks and said things in an attempt to get into her pants, Jiraiya included, but coming from this young man? She could tell that he was being completely sincere in his words and wasn't just trying to hit on her. The lovely woman couldn't help but smile down at him. "Thank you Sean. You're very kind." she said.

Sean found himself blushing at her beautiful smile and said, "Even your smile is beautiful." which only caused her to blush more. After a moment, however, he just had to ask, "Umm...so...can I sit up please? I feel just fine now."

Giggling a bit, Tsunade removed her hand and adjusted the bed so he was sitting up. "There you go Sean. Are you sure you feel alright?"

Nodding slowly, Sean reached up his right hand and looked it over for a moment. "I feel great actually. But...I feel different too. Like something's changed."

Hiruzen frowned as he stepped forward and placed a hand on Sean's shoulder. "There's a reason for that Sean-kun. While you were unconscious...I had Hiashi's Byakugan removed and transplanted into you. After the transplant, you awakened a dormant kekkei genkai. It seems you're able to switch elemental natures at will. Your chakra kept spiking and switched rapidly between wind and water natures."

It took a few moments for what the Sandaime said to sink in, but when it did, Sean's eyes widened in shock. "You...you gave me the Byakugan?! But...why? I'm not worthy of such a gift. And a kekkei genkai? How could I have a kekkei genkai without knowing about it?" he questioned, sounding increasingly more concerned as he went on.

Tsunade smiled at him and decided to explain. "Sean, some people go their entire lives without ever activating their kekkei genkai. Some don't even know that they have a kekkei genkai. Yours just happened to activate due to a lucky break. As for the Byakugan...sensei?" she asked, looking at Hiruzen for answers.

Hiruzen sighed and scratched at his beard. "I gave you Hiashi's Byakugan as means of recompense for what he and the Hyuga Elders did to you and Hana. I've also had them transfer 30% of their large wealth to the Uzumaki clan's account. You were wronged in a terrible way Sean-kun and I felt it was only right for them to repay you in that manner."

Sean nodded slowly before his eyes widened again. "Hana-chan! Is she okay?! Oh Kami, her mother's probably furious with me for allowing such a thing to happen to us!"

Hiruzen chuckled and shook his head. "Don't worry so much Sean-kun. Hana is just fine, and her mother isn't upset with you. She's furious with Hiashi though. It took some doing, but I managed to convince her not to start a civil war in the village by targeting the Hyuga clan as a whole. It helps that Hiashi and the Elders will be executed tomorrow at noon for their crimes."

Breathing a sigh of relief, the blue-haired Uzumaki leaned his head back against the bed and closed his eyes. "Thank Kami. I'm glad she's okay. What about Yugao-chan though? She helped us and I just want to make sure she's okay."

Before the Hokage could respond, Yugao appeared from the shadows and removed her mask. "I'm just fine Sean-kun. I'm...I'm so glad you're okay. I didn't want to lose you too." she admitted as tears welled up in her eyes. "You've been such a kind man to me, and I consider you a close friend. I swear that if Tsume had decided to wage war against the Hyuga clan...I probably would have helped her."

Chuckling a bit, Sean soon started coughing and bent over, trying to catch his breath. "Ugh. W-water...please?" he requested. "My throat's kind of sore…"

Shizune nodded and quickly went to get him some water. When she came back a moment later and handed it to him, Sean gave her a warm smile and said, "Thank you. Ummm...I don't know your name. I'm Sean Uzumaki. It's a pleasure to meet you." he said. Then, realizing he hadn't introduced himself to the blonde woman, he turned to her and bowed his head. "It's a pleasure to meet you too Tsunade-sama."

The black-haired medic smiled and patted Sean's shoulder gently as he brought the cup of water to his lips. "I'm Shizune Kato. It's nice to make your acquaintance Sean. I've heard a lot about you from Naruto-kun and the others."

Taking a moment to finish the cup of water, Sean offered her another smile and said, "I do hope they haven't said anything bad about me? I like to think of myself as a nice guy, though I do have my faults." he admitted.

Shizune would have said more, but Tsunade beat her to the punch. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well Sean. I'm looking forward to getting to know each other better." she admitted.

Sighing, Shizune looked from Sean to her master and then back again. "I've heard nothing but good things about you Sean. And I'm glad to see that they weren't exaggerating. You are a good man with a kind heart. Just as Tsunade-sama said, I'm looking forward to learning more about you as well."

Sean smiled at the two of them before he turned to face the aged Sandaime Hokage. "Hokage-sama? What are you going to do about the Hyuga clan? Because you're executing HIashi and the Elders, they're going to be without a leader. I think they could really benefit from your help."

Hiruzen smiled at Sean. "I'll talk with them soon and see if I can help find someone to become the new clan head. Someone respectable that won't follow in Hiashi's footsteps. I know it's clan business, but that doesn't mean I can't suggest someone appropriate to them. I must say though that I'm quite glad you aren't seeking revenge against them as a whole for what happened to you."

Nodding in understanding, the Uzumaki clan head leaned his head back and closed his eyes. "I'm glad you're going to help them. I'd hate to see the clan self-destruct because of this." he said with a sigh following afterwards. "And I wouldn't seek revenge against them as a whole simply because of the actions of a few. I'm a better person than that."

Naruto nodded and stepped forward to smile at his clan leader. "Damn right you're a better person! You're the greatest Sean-sensei! I'm...I'm just so glad you're going to be alright. I was really scared for you when I heard what happened."

Sean smiled at Naruto and reached out to pat him on the head. "No worries Naruto-kun. I wouldn't go dying on you like that." he promised. "I'm glad you got Tsunade-sama here in time to help save my life. So thank you. All of you. Now...when can I get out of here?" he questioned eagerly.

Tsunade giggled a bit and poked his forehead. "You're staying here for a few days so I can monitor your health and recovery. I need to make sure that you're truly better and won't relapse. So I'm afraid you're stuck with me for a while."

The now white-eyed Uzumaki looked up at the beautiful, buxom bombshell of a woman and smirked. "I don't see a problem with that at all. If it means I get to see you more often, then I'm all for it." he said with a chuckle.

Blushing again, Tsunade quickly turned and walked to the door. "I'm, uh...sensei? We should probably go to your office and speak about my becoming the Godaime Hokage now." she said, trying to distract herself so she didn't think about the compliments Sean had paid her.

Hiruzen nodded and walked up to Tsunade before placing a hand on her shoulder. "Sure, let's get going Tsunade-chan. Sean-kun, I expect you to remain in bed now, is that understood? You need to rest."

"Understood Hokage-sama. I'll only get up to use the bathroom. You have my word on that." he said.

"Good to hear. Shizune-chan, do keep an eye on him, just in case." Hiruzen said with a smirk on his face before he vanished with Tsunade.

After the two of them had left, Sean turned to face Shizune and smiled at her. "I don't have a problem with that. I get a pretty medic to look after me? No problems here at all." he said with a chuckle.

Shizune found herself blushing, just as Tsunade had done when he complimented her. Quickly shaking it off, she double-checked his vitals and marked them down in his medical chart. Afterwards, she sat in a chair beside his bed and looked into his eyes. "Sean, let's run a few tests. First, why don't you try and activate the Byakugan?"

Nodding slowly, the Uzumaki head focused chakra to his eyes and waited a moment before his vision changed, his new Byakugan activating. Looking around, he found that his vision extended for quite a ways. He could see things beyond the village walls and he was even able to see through solid objects! But more than that, he could see in almost 360 degrees! Looking at his friends and family, he was able to see their chakra networks. "Wow." he said quietly.

The black-haired medic began to examine his eyes with one of her medical techniques. After a few brief moments, she cancelled the technique and smiled brightly at him. "It looks like they're working perfectly with no imperfections. How do they feel?"

Looking at Shizune with his Byakugan activated, he soon blushed when he realized he could see through her clothes. Quickly deactivating his new eyes, he glanced away and scratched at the tip of his nose. "They feel great. It's going to take some getting used to, and I need to figure out what they're capable of on my own, but I like them." he admitted.

Seeing Sean's blush, Shizune couldn't help but wonder why he was blushing to begin with. Then, when it hit her, she blushed a deep shade of red and looked down at her hands. "T-that's good. I'm glad to hear it." she said softly. Then she leaned in and began to whisper to him, "And thank you for respecting me enough to look away. I know that you didn't peek at me on purpose, so thank you."

Blushing worse, Sean nodded slowly. "No problem Shizune-chan." he said with a smile. "Do you need to perform anymore scans? Or...can I get up and try to walk around for a bit? My legs have gone numb from laying here for so long." he said with a chuckle.

Smiling at him, not at all minding the -chan suffix he used, Shizune helped Sean out of bed and allowed him to lean on her for support. As he began to walk around slowly, she slowly backed away and allowed him to move on his own. From what I'm seeing, he should be out of here sometime tomorrow. He's in great shape physically and appears to be doing just fine. She thought to herself silently.

After a short while, Sean found himself smiling as he began walking around the room without any difficulties. Stretching his arms over his head, the Uzumaki head smiled at everyone before he decided to test something. Focusing on his chakra, Sean first created a sword made purely of wind just to see if he could or not.

Dispelling the sword, Sean again focused hard on his chakra and shifted his element to water. This time he formed a whip made purely of water and clutched it tight. "Huh. So that's how my kekkei genkai works, is it? I like it. Though what to call it?" he wondered.

Hinata piped up at this point, offering a suggestion. "Why don't you call it Elementalist Sean-sama? I think that name fits perfectly for your new kekkei genkai."

"Hmm. Elementalist huh? I like it. It's...fitting, considering how I can now shift my elemental nature at will." he said as he dispelled the whip of water. Instead, he formed a perfect sphere made of water that floated over his right hand. Concentrating on it, he began to change its shape to various items and weapons. Examples included: a small hammer, a scythe, a bow with an arrow notched and ready to fire, a shield, etc.

When Sean finally dispelled the water, Naruto exclaimed, "That is so cool Sean-sensei! But…"

The Uzumaki head nodded his head, seeing what his cousin was trying to say. "I can't exactly be called the Wind God anymore if I'm able to shift elements at will. Looks like people are going to have to think up a new nickname for me." he said with a chuckle.

Anko, who was still in the room from earlier, walked up to him at this point and hugged him tight. "I don't care what they call you Seanie-kun. I'm just glad you're alright. I was so scared I was going to lose you." she said as tears welled up in her eyes.

Sighing softly, Sean let a warm smile cross his face. "I'm sorry for worrying you Anko-chan. I promise, I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. I'm here to stay for a good, long while." he promised as he held his fiance close. "I love you sweetie." he said after a moment's silence passed between them.

Smiling at this, Anko would have replied, but the door opened and in walked Ino, Jima, Hana, and Tsume. They were all conversing with one another about something, but nobody in the room really had any idea what they were talking about.

When they noticed Sean was awake and standing there in the center of the room, Ino immediately rushed over and glomped onto him. "Sean-kun! You're okay!"

Chuckling at this, the 31 year-old male hugged her close and said, "Yes. Tsunade-sama saved me. I'm sorry to have worried you. I'm sorry to have worried all of you." he said, looking from Ino to the others that had just arrived.
