So, I've been getting into the idea of doing Interactive Fanfics, where I present choices throughout some of the chapters which allows you as the readers to select what happens to the main character.
What are your thoughts on such a fanfic?
I was thinking perhaps of doing a separate rewrite of this story and maybe either adding a Reader Insert, an Inuyasha or Yu Yu Hakusho character as the MC-Also the plot would be slightly different and overall story MUCH shorter.
Characters could include one of the following as the Female or Male Lead:
Janis, Kaname, Rin, Asagi (Movie 4)
Inuyasha, Sesshomaru, Keiko (Yu Yu Hakusho)
Of course, Link would be the love interest no matter what.
UNLESS... you want Dark Link as a love interest? I'm down for that too. xD (If I use Dark Link as male love interest, then I might consider doing an Ocarina of Time fic instead)
I'm not completely against doing a Yaoi. Never wrote one before, but that's an option.
What are your thoughts? What sounds more interesting? Would this be something you'd like to read, or would you prefer a different interactive fanfic with choices and or different characters?
I understand I should only write what makes me happy, but honestly, an interactive fanfic would be useless and disappointing if no one was interested in the first place. I want to write something that you'd enjoy, rather than see it abandoned with lack of interest from anyone. I hope to hear your thoughts on the idea.
