Bad News

Ryuu smiled, his right hand slowly trailing up and down Fu's back, Fu humming pleasantly, tightening her arm around him. After a few seconds, she lifted her head, smiling up at him.

"Good morning," Ryuu smiled.

"Morning," she smiled, kissing him. "Have you been awake long?"

"Not really, why?" Ryuu asked.

"Normally you wake up with morning wood," Fu smirked. "I thought you must have been awake for a while since you didn't."

"You know you've definitely got the brain of a tactician," Ryuu laughed. "You notice everything."

"You're one to talk," Fu laughed. "Besides, noticing things is more useful for a spy, or a scout than it is a tactician."

Ryuu laughed. "I suppose. Anyway, after last night, there's no way in hell I'd be waking up with morning wood."

"Aw, we didn't do it that much," Fu snorted.

"Three straight hours, Fu," Ryuu said. "Three."

Fu laughed. "True. But on the bright side, we got to try a bunch of new stuff."

Ryuu laughed. "I don't think most of that actually counted as new. I'm pretty sure we've used the shower before, and we did anal at the movie theater, even though I had the seal on that time. The only new things we did were the restraint seals and your very creative use of Chomei's tail. Speaking of, does that count as masturbation, or sex with Chomei?"

Fu hummed thoughtfully for a moment before shrugging. "I'm going with masturbation. And Chomei's claiming to have disowned me for degrading him and making him regret having a tail."

Ryuu laughed. "Oh Christ I wish I could have seen the look on his face."

Fu laughed too, then set her head back down. "We should use clones next time."

"Oh, what, one of me isn't enough?" Ryuu smirked.

Fu smirked right back. "I meant a clone of me, but I'll accept a clone of you too."

Ryuu laughed. "Didn't Yugao once accuse me of corrupting you and have to give you the sex talk?"

"Oh that wasn't the sex talk," Fu snorted. "She was giving me advice for whenever we got around to actually doing it. She said that since she could lecture and scold us all day, but in the end she couldn't stop us from doing what we wanted, she might as well give me some pointers so I knew what I was doing."

"Tell me you're joking," Ryuu said.

"I am," Fu smiled, giving him a quick kiss. "But let's be honest, we both know that I totally corrupted you."

"Well, considering it was my choice to wait until we weren't twelve anymore, I'd have to agree with you," Ryuu smirked.

Fu laughed, sitting up and smiling down at him as he laced his fingers with hers, allowing his eyes to admire her beauty. "So, what's on the agenda for today?"

"I was thinking beach and movies," Ryuu said.

"We already did movies, but I'll totally agree to go again," Fu smiled.

Ryuu rolled his eyes. "I definitely was not talking about sex."

"But we could," Fu smiled.

"That's true," Ryuu nodded. "Or we could have a nice, innocent day off, and I could finish resting before we inevitably get caught up in some more bullshit."

Fu laughed. "Alright. Innocent fun it is."

Ryuu laughed. "I'm not sure you remember how to have innocent fun."

Fu smiled, kissing him before getting up and heading to the bathroom to get cleaned up. As he heard her toothbrush turn on, Ryuu walked into the bathroom, and quickly brushed his own, finishing before her, as usual since she was borderline OCD about brushing her teeth. Fu smiled at him in the mirror before beginning to rinse her mouth. Ryuu kissed the back of her shoulder before slipping past her out of the room and grabbed his towel and clean clothes, heading back into the bathroom and getting in the shower. Once Fu was satisfied she had rinsed her mouth with mouthwash enough, she joined him in the shower, Ryuu rolling his eyes as she leaned against him.

"This whole mating season thing Chomei's going through is pretty troublesome," Ryuu smirked, kissing her. "Mm. Minty."

"Can't imagine why," Fu laughed. "And don't act like you're not enjoying it."

Ryuu laughed. "Maybe a little."

Fu rolled her eyes, leaning in to kiss him again.

Ryuu read the letter a falcon had brought him and groaned, leaning his head back against the wall. "What'd I tell you Fu. Bullshit."

She raised an eyebrow, tossing her towel onto the floorboard of the bed and accepted the letter, reading it.

"Ryuu. Zetsu attacked B and I yesterday. We managed to escape, and left a type of permanent clones to take the fall for us. Killer B left a tentacle and I left a hairball. I tried to argue a piece of his horn would be better, but he claims his tentacles regrow. Anyway, Zetsu didn't seem to notice the trick because he took the clones and left. We've gone into hiding, including from the Hidden Cloud Village, so that we can be together without Lord Raikage interfering. We're both safe for now, and if we need help, we'll summon you. Be careful. With two Jinchuriki in it, the Hidden Leaf will be targeted soon, possibly by all the remaining members at once."

"We need to warn Lady Tsunade," Fu said.

"A's going to be pissed," Ryuu grinned. "I can understand them eloping, that's fine. But he's going to be livid when he finds out they snuck out."

"He's going to be livid when he finds out the Akatsuki supposedly captured them," Fu said.

Ryuu nodded. "I'll go warn Tsunade."

Fu nodded. "If Zetsu was able to beat both B and Yugito together, he may have gotten stronger."

Ryuu paused with one arm through his shirt sleeve before pulling it the rest of the way on. "Doesn't matter. He won't set a hand on you. Besides, Zetsu's got that nerve toxin that only Sharingan helps to combat."

Fu nodded, pulling her skirt on. "I suppose. I'm going to go greet Itachi. It'll be good to meet your family properly."

Ryuu smiled and nodded, giving her a quick kiss. "Watch out for Danzo."

"I will," Fu smiled, pulling her netting belly shirt and white top on. "See you later."

Ryuu smiled and nodded, both grabbing their tantos and ninja tool pouches before leaving the house, as was force of habit recently. Ryuu strapped his gear on as he flew, pulling his trench knife's pouch out of his ninja tool pouch and strapping it to his leg as well. Once he'd reached the office, he raised his hand to knock, only to stop.

"That boy is nothing but a traitor!" Danzo's voice snapped. "I've held my tongue for as long as I can since his most recent act of treachery, but you refuse to act! Ryuu has routinely fooled you into allowing Orochimaru's top henchmen into the village, and has proven his guilt by routinely allowing Akatsuki members to escape! Akatsuki members that he overpowered almost every time he fought them! And now, not only has he brought an Akatsuki member back to the Hidden Leaf village, but Itachi Uchiha, of all people! And now you've gone and welcomed him back into the village he betrayed!?"

"Betrayed at your order," Ryuu corrected, walking into the room. "That is what you mean, isn't it Danzo? After all, when you stole my brother, Shisui's right eye before he could use Kotoamatsukami to stop the coup d'état, you ordered Itachi to slaughter the Uchiha in order to stop it instead, didn't you?"

Tsunade stared at Danzo incredulously before slowly standing, fury burning in her eyes. "You dare to accuse my shinobi of being traitors, to insinuate that I'm a traitor, while you are stealing the Sharingan of loyal Konoha Shinobi and orchestrating the mass murder of entire clans!? You've gone too far this time, Danzo! I'll see you arrested for this!"

"And I'll be taking my brother's eye back," Ryuu said flatly.

"Be wary of whom you place your trust in, Tsunade," Danzo said icily. "Do not forget that the Foundation is unquestioningly loyal to their ideals. If you imprison me for protecting this village, there will be little I can do to keep them from deciding to take matters of leadership of this village into their own hands."

"YOU DARE THREATEN ME IN MY OWN OFFICE! ? !" Tsunade thundered. "GET THE FUCK OUT! ! !"

Danzo bowed stiffly before flashing Ryuu a murderous glare, which Ryuu's Sharingan returned tenfold, before storming out of the office.

"Get Koharu and Homura in here right now!" Tsunade snapped, the four ANBU that had been waiting outside to intervene if necessary all scattering instantly. "Ryuu, I know you want Shisui's eye back. From what Sasuke and you have told me, not only is it a terrible idea for Danzo to possess an eye capable of wielding Kotoamatsukami, but you also need the eye to make sure yours can't go blind from being used too much."

"I'm not planning to have them implanted into my own," Ryuu said. "I plan to give them to Itachi and have Sasuke take Itachi's. Best case scenario, they both gain Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. Worst case, Sasuke gains it and Itachi uses Shisui's."

Tsunade nodded. "That would be an excellent idea as well, but I think it would be best to have you take them."

"That's what Sasuke said, but then what about Itachi?" Ryuu said. "If he uses his Mangekyo Sharingan once, he'll go blind."

"Well," Tsunade said. "I have an idea about that, but I'll have to talk to Itachi about it first."

Ryuu nodded. "Well, I suppose it doesn't matter until I get it back anyway. Oh, but the reason I came is important. Zetsu attacked B and Yugito."

"What!?" Tsunade gasped. "How do you know?"

"They both escaped, and Yugito sent me a letter," Ryuu said. "They managed to trick Zetsu with a pair of special clones, or so they think, and they've both gone into hiding because they want to be able to be together without A interfering."

Tsunade sighed. "Young people these days. Alright. I assume they don't want us to let A know they escaped yet?"

"Not yet," Ryuu said. "But that may be for the best. If A believes that the Akatsuki managed to capture them both, he'll be more willing to take action against them, possibly in cooperation with other villages."

Tsunade's eyes widened before she nodded. "That's a good point. You've got a point. I'll discuss it with the Jonin Council and the Village Elders. In the mean time, I have a mission that needs a Jonin, if you feel like going on a mission."

Ryuu smiled. "I suppose I could."

"Good," Tsunade said. "Here's the details." She handed him a scroll. "You'll be taking Team Kakashi, except that I'm swapping Hinata out for Sakura. I need Sakura for Itachi's treatments. And take Fu. She's seemed extra hyper for the last couple weeks or so since you all went after Itachi."

Ryuu chuckled and nodded. "Should I take Sasuke?"

"No," Tsunade said. "Leave him here. Give him some time to be with Sakura. I'm sure you'll understand how he must be feeling."

"I do," Ryuu nodded. "Alright. We'll be ready to leave within two hours."

Tsunade nodded and dismissed him. Ryuu walked outside and found Fu waiting, a knowing smile on her face. He sighed, shrugging, and she smiled, greeting him with a kiss before pulling back.

"Who're we taking this time?" Fu asked.

"Naruto, Sai, and Hinata," Ryuu said. just as Tobi and one of Ryuu's clones rose out of the ground.

"Finished," the clone said. "Finally."

Ryuu nodded, reabsorbing the clone's chakra, gaining the memories as well, eyes widening as everything the clone had learned about both Hashirama Cells and Wood Style Ninjutsu flooded his mind. "You're kidding me! That's one of my abilities now?"

"That's right," Tobi nodded.

"Fuck, that would have been really nice to know," Ryuu said.

"What is it?" Fu asked.

"I can use my prosthetics to absorb chakra and then transfer it to someone else if I need to," Ryuu said.

"That would have been helpful a few times," Fu said.

"No doubt," Ryuu said. "Anyway, come on. We need to collect our team. Tobi, I'd like you to watch over Itachi and Yugao. But don't scare Itachi. Have Yugao tell him that you're on our side."

"Yes sir!" Tobi said, saluting, then dropping into the ground.

Ryuu flew to Naruto's apartment while Fu went to Sai's house. After a few seconds, Naruto opened the door, smiling.

"Hey Ryuu," Naruto smiled. "What's up? I was just about to head over to see if Sasuke wanted to train."

"Change of plans," Ryuu said. "I'm taking your team for a mission."

"You are?" Naruto asked, then grinned. "Sweet. Alright. I'll go get Sakura and Sai."

"Actually, Sakura is staying to help with Itachi's treatments," Ryuu said. "And Fu went to get Sai."

"Is Fu replacing Sakura then?" Naruto asked.

"Nope," Ryuu grinned. "Hinata is. Go get your girlfriend and meet us at the main gate."

Naruto nodded, sighing. "She's not my girlfriend."

"Oh I know," Ryuu said. "But that doesn't mean that I'm not going to tease you about it."

Naruto rolled his eyes, smirking. "We'll be there in a bit. How long until we're late?"

"Why, you got some specific activities in mind for the two of you?" Ryuu grinned.

"No!" Naruto said defensively. "I'm just asking!"

Ryuu laughed. "Be there within two hours. We leave once everyone's ready."

Naruto nodded and left quickly, heading for the Hyuga compound. Ryuu turned, flying to the gate and landed on top of it, laying down. Within a couple of minutes, Fu landed straddling his hips and lay down on top of him, kissing him. He smiled, kissing her back for several seconds before Fu pulled back, resting her head on his chest.

"I was looking forward to having sex on the beach," Fu said.

Ryuu laughed. "I thought we agreed to have innocent fun."

"I was going to act shy," Fu grinned up at him.

Ryuu shook his head, kissing her. "You're terrible."

Fu's grin widened. "I love you too."

Ryuu smiled, kissing her again, only to pull away after a few minutes as the others all arrived. They both dropped to the ground and everyone double-checked their gear before they all left.
