The first Sonic movie has actually become my fave movie of all time and I consider it and the sequel THE gold standard on how to do video game movies. I am sure this is new golden era for Video Game adaptations which includes... Resident Evil Welcome to Racoon City was more faithful than any of the Paul WS Anderson movies but then you have the Netflix show which is a step backwards... The Arcane cartoon is good from what I hear... Uncharted was alright despite Tom Holland being miscast and I'm not really an Uncharted player but I felt it was my duty as a Playstation player to see the movie... Sonic Prime looks nice so far with the trailer and I really like the Cuphead Show... The Mario movie could turn out good and I'm interested in the upcoming Twisted Metal show. Though there is also a Streets of Rage movie being written by the John Wick creator and I'm hoping they keep the colorful clothes and Blaze Fielding plus Space Channel 5 and Comix Zone were recently announced by Sega for movies and Comix Zone I'm interested in. If you are old enough or played it from collections; Comix Zone is a sidescroller where you actually fight in the panels of a comic book and to the other panels and enemies are actually drawn on screen so I am hoping to see that realised in a movie. I am mostly hopeful for a Sega Cinematic Universe but I am rambling enough already.

Consider this pre-season 1 so the Deep's horrible behaviour hasn't been exposed yet.

Homelander found it tiresome and annoying that it took so long for him to be pulled into a situation where he honestly should have been the first one called in. Months ago a blue talking rodent knocked out power throughout the entire pacific northwest and when that happened he was surprised but excited; he couldn't wait to be called in against whatever caused that but no Walters the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff instead put Robotnik in charge of the investigation.

A gifted genius in science and robotics with a perfect operations record but kept snuffing Vought and the superhero community; a real smarmy jackass who kept scoffing at the power of superheroes and certain that he could come up with a way to kill them all if you give him a couple of minutes to think about that. He hated when Stillwell actually kept ordering him not to confront Robotnik as Edgar wanted him to be around; he always had the fear that Vought wanted to use him to build a weapon against Homelander if they decided that he was too much of a liability.

Not that it would work; nothing in the universe could stand against him!

The plan backfired horribly and the speeding blue rodent it turned out had humiliated them with Robotnik elsewhere and the government pretending that he never existed; Homelander was more than happy to do so himself.

Now the rodent was being a freelance hero at night making situations worse and now Vought wanted him to do with it which he honestly should have done.

He scoffed at the government reports claiming him to be an alien; they were the subject of movies and manufactured backstories not real life.

He came to the stupid Green Hills town and to the home of the sheriff who was housing the blue rodent; "Okay if there is a blue hedgehog shaped supervillain here come on out because I would hate for the people off this quaint small town to be get caught in me having to bring you in!" Homelander shouted out loud as the sheriff came to the door.

"Mr Homelander... I don't suppose you have a warrant..." sheriff said and Homelander gave a fake laugh at the nerve; warrants were for people who were not super and definitely beneath someone like him.

He then grabbed him by the neck and whispered "you tell me where the blue freak is or else I will make you watch as I burn your wife and everyone else in this no name waste of town land..." Homelander would have continued but he was pushed past as there was a blue blur headbutting him in the stomach sending him back.

"Hey jerk; I'm Sonic and no one threatens my friends or my home!" the blue rodent told him as Homelander got up angrily. "Plus do you know what... The Deep's movies were much better than any that you starred in!" Sonic shouted smirking and this more than anything Sonic could have said sent him into a fury like Homelander has never experienced before.

Sonic from his pouch went and threw a Ring opening up a portal to Uranus just to be funny; Homelander flew at him as fast he could which to Sonic was like a human at jogging speed by comparison. Using his top 'slow motion' type speed Sonic then pushed Homelander through the portal and the speed returned to normal with it closing before Homelander could register what was happening.

Lack of a breathable atmosphere got to Homelander's lungs.

"This is a disaster... What are we going to do... How do we replace Homelander?" Madelyn Stillwell muttered in denial in a meeting to Stan Edgar who was stone faced not exactly worried about it all.

"Quite easy as before we have replaced America's son himself Soldier Boy with Homelander; we are already looking at Vought's new mascot here. Black Noir could take over as 7 leader and A-Train will have to do with being our 2nd top blue themed speedster." Edgar said simply as Stillwell was open mouthed.

"With all due respect Mr Edgar sir... This... Thing... Caused a blackout throughout the entire pacific northwest and recklessly caused all sorts of property damage throughout San Francisco, the world and various cities..." Stillwell said and Edgar raised an eyebrow.

"Covering up for collateral damage is half of what this company does." Edgar pointed out and this argument shut Stillwell up. "I am certain that the Wachowskis will appreciate protection from the government for agreeing as I know Walters is involved with putting together a task force to apprehend the creature. Marketing him shall be simple because he is a talking colourful animal who acts like a kid; if our marketing department don't know what to do with a creature with that description then they are clearly in the wrong line of work." Edgar continued on mentally picturing the plush toys and cartoons that they can get licensed.
