Chimera
Ryuu set Sai on his feet, Fu setting Sakura beside him, and both landed as well. The wind had picked up a lot, so they had decided they'd be better off walking. They began to run, but after only a few minutes, Ryuu's crow crashed to the ground in front of them, bloody and weak, but alive.
"My apologies," the crow said. "His...transformation...caught me...off guard."
"Transformation?" Ryuu asked just as something exploded into the ground before them, kicking up a massive dust cloud. "Head on home. You've done enough. Thank you for your help."
The crow nodded and exploded into a cloud of smoke. Ryuu activated his Sharingan, looking up at the dust cloud as it finished settling, revealing a mashup of the three ninjas' summoning animals. The pig was the main form of it, with snakes as a pair of tails, the bird attached to its back, massive claws on its feet, and armor plating on the entire thing. Ryuu sighed. This thig would be a pain.
"All of you keep going," Ryuu said. "I'll handle this thing."
"We fight together," Fu said.
"That's right," Sakura said. "We're all here to save Kakashi Sensei, so we fight as a team."
"I'm sure we've fought harder battles together," Sai said. "Just look at Kimimaro."
Ryuu snorted. "Compared to him, this will be easy. Alright. Sai, you and Sakura go up. I'll go head on. Fu, circle around."
Everyone nodded and Ryuu charged. However, as we was approaching, the creature suddenly roared, a massive jet of flames shooting out of its mouth at him, only for him to flip over it, allowing the explosion to decimate the ground behind him. he flipped, landing on his feet and forming hand seals rapidly.
"Fire Style, Dragon Flame Bomb!" Ryuu shouted, then exhaled three massive, flaming dragons.
All three shot forward, one curving around at the creature from the right, one from the left, and one from above. The creature roared as all three hit it and exploded, hurling it backward a ways. Then, Sakura exploded down onto it fist-first, smashing it back into the ground and cratering it. Then, Fu exploded into the creature from behind, her repulsion seals shattering the armor on the back half of its body, along with the wings. It plowed through the ground toward Ryuu and he smirked, pulling his own fist back, only for sand to shoot down and envelop the creature before suddenly constricting, blood spraying out of it.
"Gaara," Ryuu said, turning around and staring at the Kazekage. "Don't tell me you've also come to try and stop me."
"It is against Kakashi's wishes for you to get past this point," Gaara said. "I owe you a debt for saving my life, but the only sure way to defeat Hiruko is for Kakashi to carry out his plan."
"Oh please," Ryuu said. "Don't treat me like I haven't fought more powerful opponents. Yes, he's strong, but I'm not losing to someone who wields four Kekkei Genkai and is still barely stronger than Kakuzu. You know me Gaara. You know I'm stronger than Hiruko. But if that's not enough, then let me pass in order to square your debt to me."
Gaara stared at him for a long moment before nodding. "Very well. I must go and stop my village from starting a war with yours over the belief that the Hidden Leaf ambushed me. Also, I believe Matsuri may be worried."
"I'm sure she's been sobbing since the ambush," Ryuu smirked. "Speaking of, are you two together yet?"
"She wouldn't want to be with me," Gaara said. "I'm a Jinchuriki, and not everyone is like you. Besides, I'm the Kazekage. It's not proper."
"Fuck proper!" Ryuu snapped. "And bullshit she wouldn't want to be with you! You know how she feels, Gaara. You know how much she cares about you."
"It's because I'm her former sensei," Gaara said.
"It's because she's in love with you!" Ryuu snapped. "Just take your balls out of your purse and ask her out before you lose her, Gaara."
Gaara stared at the ground for a long while before sand flowed out of his gourd and blew away, blocking him from view and leaving no one behind when it cleared. Ryuu sighed and turned, leaping from rock spire to rock spire as he headed toward where he believed Kakashi was heading, all three of the others following.
Ryuu watched as Hiruko walked calmly out of the palace before them. He watched them all silently, but Ryuu could sense that he was prepared for anything. Ryuu crouched, hardening his fists as much as he could. His skill with the jutsu had come a long way in the few days since he'd fought Hiruko. He'd nearly doubled the solidity of his hardening jutsu, though he doubted it would stand up to Hiruko's.
"I'll go first," Sai said. "Ninja Art, Super Beast Scroll!" He sent several ink lions speeding toward Hiruko, who formed several hand seals.
"The first," Hiruko said as pitch black clouds formed around his feet. "Gale Style, Thundercloud Void Wave!"
The clouds spiraled up around him into a dome before lightning flashed out, obliterating the lions almost instantly. The moment the clouds faded, Fu and Ryuu both exhaled a massive blast of flames and wind, the two jutsus mixing and speeding toward Hiruko, who pulled the bandages off of his left hand, holding it out and revealing a pair of overlapping diamond-shaped markings.
"The second, Shade Style, Black Hole," Hiruko said, the top diamond shining red and absorbing the jutsu entirely. "The Shade Style absorbs your chakra, and then redirects it back at you at my leisure! Shade Style, Judgement!"
The bottom diamond expelled a massive wall of pure chakra at them, all of them scattering to avoid it, allowing it to explode through the stone pillars and spikes they'd passed through to reach the palace. Ryuu appeared beside Hiruko, punching at him, only for Hiruko's own hardened fist to meet his.
"The third," Hiruko said as Ryuu flipped over a punch, punching downward with his other fist, once again being met with Hiruko's own before leaping back, the small cracks and fractures in his right hand and his left hand's bones sealing instantly. "With my Steel Style, even blades can't hurt me, and neither can you. Although, I commend you for improving your own hardening technique so effectively in such a short amount of time."
"Thank you," Ryuu said, just as Sakura reached Hiruko, punching at him.
"The fourth, Quick Style," he formed a hand seal and vanished instantly before a dozen blows exploded into Sakura, hurling her backward.
However, as he swung around and threw a hardened punch at Ryuu, Ryuu smirked, leaning to the left, out of the way, his upper body twisting and drilling his left fist into Hiruko's gut, lifting him off the ground two feet. Then, he flipped, hardening his foot and slamming a kick into him, sending him exploding into the doors of the palace, destroying them. Ryuu appeared beside Kakashi instantly, lifting his right arm and removing the Timed Release Seal placed there, then pulled his forehead protector off and placed a palm to his forehead, removing the Puppet Master Jutsu on him.
Kakashi blinked, looking around before his eyes widened as he saw where he was, and who was in front of him.
"What have you done!?" Kakashi asked just as Hiruko reached Ryuu from behind, punching at his head with his right fist.
Ryuu hardened his arms, deflecting multiple punches before stepping backward and twisting, his hardened right elbow exploding into Hiruko's face, launching him away. Ryuu healed his damaged arms and hands before turning back to Kakashi.
"I'll handle Hiruko from here on," Ryuu said. "There's no need for you to sacrifice anything. His Kekkei Genkai aren't as great as he thinks. Amalgam was more terrifying."
"I agree," Orochimaru said, suddenly off to the side, looking like himself again. "His Chimera Jutsu isn't what I had hoped. Although, I will be appropriating those four Kekkei Genkai he has." Ryuu spun toward him to attack, only for a bolt of lightning to hit him in the side, launching him away as Orochimaru vanished.
Ryuu flipped, landing on his feet as Hiruko raised Fu by the throat.
"Move again and I crush her throat," Hiruko threatened, tightening his grip slightly.
"You just signed your own death warrant," Ryuu said.
"Throw your weapons down!" Hiruko ordered. "Now!"
"Why?" Ryuu asked.
"I have your girlfriend held hostage!" Hiruko snapped.
"Okay," Ryuu said, shrugging. "What's your point?"
"Excuse me!?" Hiruko shouted, just before Fu flipped, slamming a kick empowered by a Repulsion Seal into Hiruko's chest, freeing herself and sending him exploding entirely through the palace.
Ryuu and Fu walked after him, both stepping out of the hole he'd formed and watching him with disdain.
"I suppose I should have warned you," Ryuu said. "When I said you signed your death warrant, I meant that she'd kill you. If there's anyone in this world I trust to defend themselves without me, it's Fu. I just won't let her defend herself without me."
"You two are truly something," Hiruko snarled, standing. "Even facing someone as great as myself, you can find it in yourselves to act superior!"
"Why do they always assume they're the best thing since sex?" Ryuu asked.
Fu smiled. "He's probably never had any. He's just grumpy because that slut we fought earlier wouldn't suck his dick because he turned himself into a little kid again."
"I mean, if I had to change his diapers, I probably wouldn't be too inclined to fuck him either," Ryuu smirked.
"Laugh while you can, you arrogant brats!" Hiruko snarled. "I'll kill you both right now!"
Just then, the moon reached its place in front of the sun, and Hiruko began to laugh hysterically as his body began to rise, a thick, dark blue fluid forming a massive blob below him, his upper body extended from it. He swiped an arm and a pair of cylindrical segments of the blob shot out at them. Ryuu huffed, forming a Lightning Blade and stepping forward, driving it into the end of the segment heading for him, blasting it into tiny bits. Then, he spun, the one that Fu had ducked under bouncing back toward them in a blur, only for Ryuu to destroy that one as well.
"Those things are fast, but not for you and me, right Hiruko?" Ryuu asked, allowing his Chidori to fade. "After all, I'm faster than you are. I'm going to go ahead and end this now. No hard feelings. You tried your best, but you're just not the strongest person I've faced."
He formed a dozen Afterimage Clones and they all shot forward as Fu took off high into the air so that he didn't need to worry about Hiruko targeting her. The Ryuu's each formed a jutsu they hardly used, but which would be more effective against Hiruko than a Chidori. Their Rasengans all swirled to life before they all reached Hiruko, beginning to slam their Rasengans into the blob anywhere they could reach before vanishing, a new one reappearing somewhere else, slamming a Rasengan into it instantly. The result was Rasengans blasting Hiruko's blob body as fast as a hard rain, each blast leaving a glowing red crater. Finally, cracks began to appear in the body, shining white light emenating from them. Then, Ryuu appeared over Hiruko, grinning and flipping, slamming a hardened, Repulsion-Seal-enhanced fist into Hiruko's face, sending him exploding down through his own blob body to the ground, shattering the ground. The Blob body exploded outward in a flood, the whole thing liquifying and washing away as Fu and Ryuu both watched from the air. After a moment, Hiruko dragged himself out of the shattered ground from between two chunks of stone, climbing back to his feet unsteadily, his rob having been destroyed, revealing the bandages covering his body, and the brown object wrapped around his torso like a girdle.
"You bastard!" Hiruko seethed. "Just die!"
Light red chakra began to explode off of him in a massive column and Ryuu and Fu retreated about a hundred feet just before the chakra exploded outward, blasting most of the palace into rubble. Hiruko himself glared up at them from the center of the blast, stones floating around him. After a moment, he reached under the bandages on his face, biting his thumb before pressing it to his other palm.
"Summoning Jutsu!" Hiruko shouted, slamming his hand into the ground.
A massive cloud of smoke exploded into the air before clearing, leaving the corpse of the giant creature Gaara had killed, bits and pieces missing, other bits crushed into it, and the entire thing about half the side it should be, blood coating the entirety of its crushed and mangled body.
"What!?" Hiruko gaped.
"Yeah, you should pay better attention to your pets," Ryuu said. "We killed that thing a while ago."
Hiruko began to tremble with rage as Ryuu and Fu landed on the ground. "Fine! I'll deal with you myself after all!"
"What a shocking and unforeseeable turn of events!" Ryuu taunted as he and Fu charged.
"Stop mocking me!" Hiruko shouted, sending out his chakra-controlled bandages.
Ryuu and Fu dodged and sped around the bandages, which smashed the ground with each impact. Finally, Hiruko retracted them, forming hand seals.
"Gale Style, Gale Dragon!" Hiruko shouted, massive black clouds swirling together from all around them into a massive, spiraling cloud overhead, filling the sky but doing nothing else.
Ryuu rolled his eyes. "What a disappointment. Oh well. Here we go!"
He shot ahead of Fu, Hiruko activating his Quick Style and Steel Style as the two began to rapidly trade blows, Ryuu ducking and dodging when he could. However, Hiruko had switched tactics this time. He had hardened his entire body. Finally, Ryuu formed a Lightning Blaade, in his left hand only for Hiruko's fist to blast through it. Ryuu's arm and hand bones shattered instantly. He shouted in pain and leapt backward, and Hiruko cackled wickedly as his skin returned to normal, just in time for Fu to explode out of the ground in front of him, slashing with a Water Sword. Hiruko flipped backward, avoiding the blade, except for the bandages on his face, which fell away instantly, then landed on his feet and exploded forward, drilling a hardened fist into Fu's side. Ryuu flipped catching her and landing on his feet as his hands finally finished repairing themselves.
"His Steel Style's too solid," Ryuu said. "I can't break through."
"Maybe you could reach him before he has the chance to activate it or his Quick Style?" Fu suggested.
Ryuu shook his head. "His Quick Style is different than my Body Flicker-"
"Teleportation Jutsu," Fu corrected. "Call it what you've made it."
Ryuu rolled his eyes. "Teleportation Jutsu. Anyway, his Quick Style allows him to perceive things that are moving at that speed, even when he's not. It's how he's able to activate it after I start using mine and still have time to react to my blows."
Fu nodded. "So what now, then?"
"Need a boost?" Isobu asked.
"Isobu!" Ryuu grinned. "You're awake! How do you feel?"
"Still low on chakra," Isobu said. "But I finally finished regrowing my body. Want to take my shell out for a spin?"
"You know I do, my friend," Ryuu grinned.
He stood as Fu finished healing her side. Ryuu stepped forward, grinning widely just as his skin turned light grey and his forearms and hands expanded, hardening into Isobu's hands, complete with the indestructible shell that made Isobu one of the most dangerous Tailed Beasts. Hiruko narrowed his eyes, hardening his body again and both shot forward at Hiruko's top speed. Their right fists met in the middle and Hiruko's bones shattered. Hiruko shot backward, exploding through several pieces of debris before flipping into the air, Ryuu already behind him, fist cocked back. Then, as Ryuu threw a punch, five more fists spread from his, all six arms separating at the shoulder. The six fists exploded into Hiruko's back all at once, shattering every bone in his torso and sending him exploding away from Ryuu, only for Ryuu to appear in front of him yet again, his hands changed back to normal as he crouched on his hands and feet, only for one of Isobu's rails to erupt from his back where his shirt was pulled up to make room. The tail swung forward and exploded down on Hiruko, sending him exploding directly down into the ground, shattering the ground even further. Ryuu retracted his tail and stood, grinning and pulling his shirt back down as Fu stepped up beside him, grinning widely.
"Finally getting some of those Jinchuriki benefits," Fu smiled.
"Bout time," Ryuu smirked. "I fucking love Isobu's shell."
Fu smiled and nodded as Hiruko staggered to his feet again. "Wow."
"How the fuck are you standing again?" Ryuu asked.
"I don't...understand!" Hiruko said, swaying before steadying himself. "Why are you so strong!? You have only one Kekkei Genkai! I have four! I should be more powerful than you! I've worked my entire life to perfect my synthetic body! Even unfinished, it should be more powerful than yours now!"
"You're mistaken," Orochimaru said, appearing behind Hiruko and jabbing a syringe into the side of his neck, into his carotid artery, filling the syringe with blood in seconds. "Having four Kekkei Genkai doesn't make you unstoppable. Someone with no Kekkei Genkai could still beat you, if they worked hard enough for it. When I found your research, I was amazed. It was what inspired me to begin my own. Kekkei Genkai alone do not guarantee power, or victory. I myself currently possess six Kekkei Genkai, and yet if I faced Ryuu as things are now, I would likely be killed."
"What!?" Hiruko gasped. "Six? But how? The Chimera Jutsu can only incorporate five!"
"It was easy," Orochimaru said. "I simply had to turn myself into a giant snake monster, create a Homunculus who bore all six Kekkei Genkai that I wanted, and then possessed that Homunculus. Now the Kekkei Genkai are mine. However, you couldn't have won this battle even if you had had fifty Kekkei Genkai. You see, what you failed to learn was that, even with Kekkei Genkai, if you wish to be powerful, you must work for it, or be born with it. You were not born with it, so you should have spent as much time training as you did researching. Then you would have been unstoppable." He ripped the syringe forward out of Hiruko's neck and blood sprayed out of his neck, Hiruko dropping instantly, clutching at his neck as he rapidly bled out. "I thank you, Ryuu Uchiha. We shall meet again."
"Orochimaru!" Ryuu shouted, appearing behind him and driving a Lightning Blade through his head, only for his entire body to fall away as mud. "Dammit!" He looked over at Hiruko, but he was already gone. He sighed. "Come on. Let's get the others all home. I'll let Lady Tsunade, Lady Mizukage, and the Raikage all that the situation's over on the way."
Fu nodded and they flew back to the others, picking them up and flying away as Ryuu used a long-distance communication seal to contact Tsunade, telling her what had happened, including about Orochimaru.
