Called For the Summit

Ryuu sighed, looking around the village as it was being slowly rebuilt. Beside him, Fu glanced over at him, giving his hand a light squeeze.

"What's up?" Fu asked.

"Just...not pleased with the succession," Ryuu said. "It should most definitely not have been him."

"I agree," Fu said. "He'll almost definitely try to pull something."

"I told your Raikage, the Five Kage Summit that Lady Tsunade called for has been cancelled!" Danzo's voice shouted suddenly.

Both of them stepping around a corner in time to see a trio of what looked like Hidden Cloud ninja following Danzo, a blonde with a custom flak that only covered her abdomen and left her enormous breasts unprotected, probably the Jonin team leader, stepped forward. Behind her, a boy with a standard uniform, messy white hair, and a sucker in his mouth and a girl with a grey dress under her flak and long, messy red hair, both glanced at each other, tensing.

"We're not here about Lady Tsunade's Summit," the blonde said. "We're here about Lord Raikage's. As the acting Hokage-"

"I am the Sixth Hokage!" Danzo snapped, wheeling around on her. "Not the acting Hokage!"

"Of course, Lord Hokage," the blonde said. "As I was saying, as the Sixth Hokage, you are required to attend by the terms of the current peace treaties. If you fail to do so, Lord Raikage will take it as a declaration of war."

"You dare to threaten me!?" Danzo spat.

"Lord Danzo," Ryuu said, he and Fu walking over calmly, though Ryuu's Sharingan burned with nothing but hatred for Dazno. "She wasn't threatening you, sir, she was merely delivering a message. If I may speak freely sir-"

"You may not!" Danzo snapped.

"We can't afford to fight the other Great Shinobi Villages, and the Akatsuki, and Orochimaru all at once," Ryuu continued, completely ignoring Danzo's response. "You may be an even less trustworthy snake than Orochimaru, but you are smart enough to know that you can't stand alone an hope to survive."

"I do not recall asking your opinion, Jinchuriki," Danzo spat. "When I wish to hear what a weapon thinks is best for this village, I will ask my kunai. And as for you!" He turned on the Hidden Cloud shinobi. "Tell your Raikage that I will be at the Summit. And tell him that I will expect an apology for your disrespect!"

With that, Danzo turned, storming off. Ryuu sighed, shaking his head.

"He's as pleasant as always," Fu grumbled.

"You two know him?" the blonde asked.

"When we were children, he tried to kidnap me for my Sharingan, and Fu for her Tailed Beast," Ryuu said. "Now we've grown too powerful for him to try anything against directly without us alerting the entire village, and it pisses him off. Would you mind asking the Raikage if we can have the Jinchuriki present as well? It's our near futures being decided on, and I have the extensive information on all of the Akatsuki members who remain, as well as on Orochimaru's new abilities."

"I'll ask," the blonde nodded. "What's your name?"

"Ryuu Uchiha," Ryuu said. "This is Fu."

"It's nice to meet you," the blonde said. "My name is Samui. This is my team, Karui and Omoi."

"It's nice to meet you all," Ryuu said. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to be late to training."

Samui nodded and Ryuu and Fu continued walking, reaching the Third Training ground to find Tayuya, Naruto, Hinata, and Sasuke all waiting.

"You're late," Sasuke said.

"My bad," Ryuu said. "We had a bit of a...run in with Danzo. He was trying to refuse to go to the Summit."

"That stubborn bastard's going to get us killed!" Sasuke growled.

"Where's Itachi?" Fu asked. "Isn't he supposed to be training with us to?"

"He's still with Yugao," Sasuke said. "I told him to take his time, since it's been years since they've seen each other."

"True," Ryuu said. "Alright. First up we'll be training Kenjutsu."

Naruto formed a Vacuum Blade instantly as Hinata unsealed her training katana from a scroll and Sasuke drew his own sword. Ryuu told Sasuke to train Naruto first, he himself moving to train Hinata while Fu trained tayuya. After about an hour, Ryuu, Fu, and Sasuke switched. Then an hour later they switched again. Finally, another hour later, just for fun, the six of them had a five-way battle using exclusively Kenjutsu. Naruto went down first, since his Kenjutsu was still shaky, then tayuya, then Fu, then Hinata, and finally a tie between Ryuu and Sasuke. Ryuu sighed as he put his tanto away and called training for the day. Then, he headed back home for the night.

The next day, Ryuu woke to a tapping sound. He looked up at the window, seeing a messenger hawk. He used a Chakra Thread to open the window and it hopped from the window sill to the bed, turning away from him. He took the scroll from its back, stroking the bird's head for a moment as he read. The Raikage had requested the presence of the Hidden Leaf's Jinchuriki, and had sent the location of the meeting in the Land of Iron.

"Fu," Ryuu said, shaking her gently, only for her to grumble at him and roll away from him. He smiled, leaning down and kissing her on the cheek. "Time to wake up, Fu."

She stirred, then sighed before standing and heading to the bathroom. Ryuu sighed as well, getting dressed while he listened to Fu beginning to throw up. Once he was dressed, he walked in, kneeling beside her and stroking her back.

"This is your fault," Fu said, glaring at him between rounds of vomiting.

"Yes it is," Ryuu said, kissing the back of her shoulder. "And I can't wait until I can hold our child the first time."

"I'd settle for being done having morning sickness," Fu said.

Ryuu chuckled, kissing the back of her head before brushing his teeth and beginning to get his gear. "We're heading to the Land of Iron for the Five Kage Summit. I'm going to go grab Naruto then meet you at the gate, alright?"

"Alright," Fu nodded, rinsing her mouth out. "Watch out for Foundation ANBU."

"You too," Ryuu smiled.

He left the house, heading to Naruto's apartment while sending a clone to get Utakata, and knocked on the door. After a few minutes, Naruto opened it wearing only a pair of black pants.

"Ryuu?" Naruto frowned. "What's going on?"

"You, me, Utakata, and Fu are heading to the Five Kage Summit," Lee said. "How long will it take you to get ready?"

"Ten minutes?" Naruto asked, glancing back into the apartment.

Ryuu grinned. "Naruto, is Hinata here?"

"What?" Naruto asked, eyes widening. "Oh my God! No! Neji would kill me!"

"Hiashi would kill you," Ryuu snorted. "Alright. Meet us by the main gate, then."

Naruto nodded and Ryuu headed to the gate, meeting Fu with a kiss just before Utakata arrived.

"Wow, that was fast," Ryuu said.

"It's important for us to not be late," Utakata said. "I want to speak with the current Mizukage."

Ryuu nodded. "I figured. Are you and Hotaru going to move back tot he Hidden Mist?"

"Maybe," Utakata said. "We'll see."

Ryuu nodded and they waited for Naruto to arrive, then left. Yomo, who had been sitting on Fu's shoulder when Ryuu arrived, flew into the air to scout for them, just in case Danzo tried anything. For a while, everything was fine. Then, almost two dozen Foundation ANBU appeared around them, forcing them to stop.

"Where are the four of you heading!?" one in a white cloak demanded.

"The Five Kage summit," Ryuu said calmly. "Lord Raikage sent a scroll a day too late to catch Danzo asking for all of the Jinchuriki to attend."

"That's unfortunate," the leader of the ANBU group said. "You'll all be returning to the village now."

"Well we though?" Ryuu asked. "I mean, one of us four defeated Pein, one of us damn-near defeated him and is faster than any of you could ever hope to be, another of us is almost as strong as both of the first, and the fourth has no problem with killing everyone here. Do any of you see this going well for you?"

"Get them!" the leader shouted, all of the ANBU leaping at them at once, only for Ryuu and the others to vanish, reappearing in the air with a pair of Ryuu Clones carrying Utakata and Naruto, all three Ryuus and Fu flying, enjoying the freedom they felt in doing it, which they hadn't gotten to enjoy for a while.

"I missed flying," Ryuu said. "You know, when not in the middle of a battle, or going to one."

"Want to see if we can beat Danzo to the Summit?" Fu asked grinning.

"Oh, I know we can," Lee grinned. "And Hell yes I do."

Naruto cheered, knowing what was about to happen. Utakata, also remembering how fast Ryuu can fly, groaned miserably. Yomo flew to Ryuu and burrowed into his shirt.

"Hang on boys!" the Ryuu clones grinned before the four in charge of flying took off, streaking through the sky in blurs.

They flew for hours, Ryuu placing a temperature regulation seal on both Naruto and Utakata as he and Fu had both had on ever since the Land of Spring mission with Koyuki. Finally, twenty minutes after flying into a snowstorm, they descended to a temple-like building in the middle of three small mountains with gigantic ice formations over them, all three with massive icicles hanging from them and making it look like three mouths. As they landed, Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro were just being led inside, only to stop and look back at the four of them.

"Gaara!" Naruto smiled.

"Hello Naruto, Ryuu, Fu," Gaara nodded. "It's good to see you three."

Fu bounded over to Gaara, her personality flipping to bubbly, and hugged him, Gaara chuckling. Ryuu walked over, giving the three of them temperature regulation seals as well, since he could see Kankuro shivering. As soon as Kankuro's seal was in place, he sighed in relief.

"You know all the useful seals, don't you?" Kankuro asked.

"Not until I find one that kill Danzo," Ryuu said. "His Foundation ANBU tried to attack us again on the way here for leaving the village in order to attend the summit, at the Raikage's request."

"Are they stupid?" Temari asked.

"Apparently they'd just blindly loyal," Ryuu said. "I can't wait to see the look on Danzo's face when he sees us here."

Gaara sighed. "You're going to cause problems, aren't you?"

"I'm here to find out what's going to be done with Fu," Ryuu said. "And to stop Danzo from causing problems."

"If it is Lord Raikage's will that you be here, I will allow it," an older man with a long grey beard and mustache, long grey hair, and bandages around the top of his head off to one side said. "But if you cause trouble within our borders, you will make an enemy of the Land of Iron. I am Mifune, the general here in the Land of Iron."

"I will do my best not to cause trouble," Ryuu said. "You have my word. I am not here to make an enemy of anyone, even Danzo."

Mifune nodded, and Ryuu and the other Jinchuriki followed Gaara and his siblings into the building. About an hour later, Danzo arrived with a pair of Foundation ANBU, an orange-haired man with a blocky face, and a skinny one with messy brown hair and a cloth mask leaving his mouth and nose exposed, then covering everything else besides the top of his head, a pair of glass eyeholes allowing him to see. The moment Danzo saw the four Jinchuriki, he was furious.

"What are you doing here?" Danzo snarled.

"Lord Raikage sent a scroll," Ryuu said, tossing the Raikage's scroll to ANBU with the face mask. "It just didn't arrive in time for you to see it."

The ANBU opened it and scanned it before handing it to Danzo. After a moment of reading it, Danzo rolled it up, clenching it tightly but controlling himself.

"Very well," Danzo said. "You may watch the meeting's proceedings. You may not interfere."

"If I have something to say, as a Jinchuriki, I'll say it, provided you get out-voted," Ryuu said. "Also, don't forget you still owe me an eye. So you'd better try hard not to anger me."

Danzo glared at him and Ryuu and the others turned, heading up to the top floor of the tower where the meeting would be held, standing along a walkway behind the five seats where the Kage would be sitting. The walkway was for the Five Kage's retainers and bodyguards, but since the four of them were also allowed to come along, they'd be using it as well. In the middle of the room were banners with the kanji for each of the Five Great Nations, Fire, Wind, Earth, Water, and Lightning, set up around a U-shaped table, and then a smaller table at the opening where Mifune would be sitting. After about another thirty minutes of waiting, the rest of the bodyguards, along with their Kage, had arrived and the Five Kage Summit began.
