Hermione led Scorpius into her kitchen and waved her wand to summon the ingredients that they'd need, at her side the small blonde clapped his hands excitedly as he watched each of the desired ingredients measure themselves into small bowls on her kitchen table.

"Here come sit at the table Scorpius," she told the boy helping him onto one of her wooden stools, Scorpius kneeled eagerly peering over the edges of each small bowl.

"What do we do first Miss Mione," he asked her excitedly, smiling with a dimpled smile. Hermione smiled back at the boy "first we need to clean our hands," she told holding her wand out to him, Scorpius raised his hands to her, and she cast a silent Scourgify on them before repeating the process on her own hands.

"The next thing we need to do is mix all of our dry ingredients together, do you think you could do that for me, Scorpius," she asked as she placed a large blue mixing bowl in front of the boy and handed him a wooden spoon.

"I can do that Miss Mione," he nodded reaching over to grab the bowl of flour on the table, Hermione watched amused as he dumped all the flour into the bowl and then mixed it a cloud of flour surrounding his small face and the surrounding table. Scorpius repeated this process with the brown sugar, baking powder and the salt before pausing as he brought the next ingredient to his nose where he took a large sniff; "Yummy, Cinny-nom," he signed.

"Yes, yummy Cinnamon," Hermione told him, Scorpius pinched the cinnamon in his tiny fingers and sprinkled it into the blue bowl before picking up his wooden spoon to mix the ingredients again.

"What do we do next Miss Mione," he asked after setting down the spoon on the table.

"Next we mix all of the wet ingredients into another bowl," she told him passing him a sage green medium sized bowl. Scorpius poured in the milk, oil, vanilla extract, and the eggs that had been cracked when she'd summoned all the ingredients. She handed Scorpius a whisk and watched as he used it to scramble his mixture together.

"Fantastic job Scorp, now in this bowl I need you to mash our banana's," she told him passing him a bowl filled with sliced bananas and a potato masher. Scorpius nodded and set about mashing the bananas happily when the child finished the banana's looked as though they had been pulverized.

"The next step is to mix our three bowls together, can you pour the bananas and the wet ingredients into the largest bowl Scorp," The toddler nodded pouring the ingredients the best he could, a gentle frown on his face when he spilled some on the counter.

"That's okay Scorp, we don't need that bit," she told him as she helped him scrape the remaining banana from it's bowl. "Are you ready to add the final ingredient," she asked pulling a bag of chocolate chips from her pantry. Scorpius nodded reaching out for the chocolate.

"How much do I add," he asked her.

"As much as you want, she smiled. Scorpius took two handfuls of the chocolate chips, sprinkling them into the pancake mixture before mixing it with his wooden spoon. He then took another two handfuls and mixed again.

"Miss Mione, I'm finished," he told her.

"Well done, Scorp," she praised, the boy's tummy rumbled, and she smiled at him; "Go get your dad and I will cook these with magic, they will be finished when you return," she told the boy as she cast another Scourgify on his hands. Scorpius beamed at her and climbed off the chair, running out of the kitchen to find his father.

Using her magic, she set the pancakes to make themselves watching with satisfaction as a ladle scooped the right amount of batter into her buttered frying pan, when the pancake started to bubble a spatula flipped it and then shortly later when both sides had been evenly cooked it would flip it onto a plate that sat on the worksurface beside her cooker. While the pancakes were cooking, she washed up everything they had used the muggle way and wiped down the table.

Placing the finished pancakes in the centre of the table she chopped up some more bananas and fetched a bottle of maple syrup from her fridge before grabbing setting the table for three people.

"Where have they got to," she questioned herself, deciding to go and find them. It didn't take long to walk down her short corridor to her living room. Standing in the doorway she smiled at the two Malfoy's. Scorpius had climbed onto Draco's knee and was tapping his father's face lightly while repeatedly saying "Daddy." Draco had fallen asleep his head resting against the back of her sofa, his mouth open as he lightly snored. Scorpius tapped Draco's face again slightly harder than before; Draco snorted his eyes slowly opening; he looked around confused until they settled on her; "Hello, sleeping beauty," she laughed.

""Daddy the pancakes are ready," Scorpius told him as he jumped down onto the ground.

"I'm coming buddy," Draco replied, Hermione turned to head back to the kitchen; she couldn't believe that she was about to have breakfast with the Malfoy's.
