Gellert looked at Albus. He was sleeping soundly by his side, since the auburn man insisted that the blonde stay the night, again.

Gellert had only been living with his great-aunt for a week, and already the two young men had become good friends. But Gellert knew his friend was crushing on him, only if at this stage it was only starting.

Gellert was no fool. He knew that the famous Albus Dumbledor, (who had made the Hogwarts Quidditch team in his first year, was in regular correspondence with all sorts of prominent people and creatures since his school years, had numerous achievements and awards) was the only one who could rival him. Gellert knew that if he wanted to succeed, he needed Albus on his side. Or at least make it so he could never pose a threat to him. And the best way to achieve this was love.

Gellert, unlike the future Tom M. Riddle, understood love. He knew love was more powerful than fear, and building a sense of family was stronger than a faceless army. Sure humans make connections all the time, but if it were encouraged, then that would be something.

Gellert stroked Albus's soft hair. He only felt friendship for him, but he knew Albus didn't. All he had to do was to play into Albus's affection, and he was guaranteed to be on his side. Or at least make him doubtful to oppose him.

Albus slowly woke up, and snuggled into his friend. Gellert couldn't help but smile.

"Good morning." Gellert sweetly said.

"Morning." Albus sleepily answered.

"Sleep well?"

"Yes." Albus answered as he began toying with his friend's shirt. Since his mother died, the only good night's sleep he got was when he was with Gellert. His handsome friend with tempting lips.

"What do you want to do today?" Gellert asked as his fingers entangled themselves with Albus's hair.

Albus relished the feeling of his crush's fingers against his head. "Be with you."

"Planning?"

A blush appeared on the shorter man's face. "Yeah."

Gellert chuckled. Then he pecked Albus's lips.

Albus was flustered. Did, did his crush really kiss him? Sure it was small, and friends pecked each other all the time, but, like this?

"What?" Gellert asked, concerned for his friend's reaction.

"Did-Did you just kiss me?"

Gellert smiled a charming smile, "Yes." He leaned in closer, faking a blush, "Is there a problem with that?"

"N-no! No!" Albus exclaimed, almost waking his sister, "Just unexpected."

Gellert faked being embarrassed. "Oh." Then he "recovered" and asked, "What if you were expecting it?"

"A kiss?"

"Yes."

"I don't know."

Gellert leaned in closer, making Albus's heart race. "Why don't you find out?"

Albus felt heat rising within him. He looked into Gellert's blue eyes, his beautiful entrancing eyes. His lips brushed against his. Albus could feel his nerves rising. Gellert made no move, no sound. Albus took a breath and gave him a soft kiss. He looked up at Gellert's expectant eyes. A smile spread across his lips. "I liked it." Albus softly said.

Gellert smiled. Albus was falling deeper and deeper into his clutches.
