Albus and Gellert were practically inseparable. They spent every night together, either sleeping in Albus's bed at his house while Ariana and Aberforth slept soundly in their rooms, or in Gellert's bed at his Great-Aunt's house while she and Aberfoth looked after Ariana.

As Gellert and Albus got ready for bed, the auburn approached the blonde.

"Gellert?"

"Yes?"

"Have you ever had a vision of us?"

Gellert smiled, "Yes."

"And?"

Gellert took his boyfriend's hands, "We're together." Before Albus could ask anymore questions, Gellert pulled him in close and continued, "Even into our old age."

Albus felt a sudden warmth fill his body. An unexplainable joy that filled him with love and hope. No matter what the future held, he would be with his beloved forever. Albus smiled a lovestruck smile and closed the small gap between them. "I love you."

Gellert hid his contempt well. He only viewed Albus as a friend, but he knew it wise not to alienate him. So he forced a smile that didn't look forced under the dim light of the moon and stars, and said with tone that was all too convincing, "I love you too."

Albus's smile widened. "Darling?"

"Yes Dear?" Gellert replied.

"I was thinking, when we go hunting for the Hallows, why don't we take a detour to Scotland?"

"Why Scotland?"

Albus blushed. "Well, in Scotland, you can get married by Declaration."

"Are you asking me to marry you?"

"Yes."

Gellert chuckled. Part of him was nervous that things were going too far, but he knew he wouldn't have time for romance once he started his takeover, also, what better way to ensure Albus Dumbledore's loyalty than with matrimony?

"Should I get down on one knee?" Albus asked.

"No need." Gellert replied, "I already have my answer."

"Which is?" the blinded-by-love Albus asked.

"Yes."

Albus felt an explosion of emotion fill his being. As soon as Gellert's answer entered his ears, Albus immediately gave his now fiance a passionate kiss.
