As soon as he was released from the hospital, Draco made his way to the townhouse where his two closest friends lived. Pansy and the three children had been released from the hospital a day before he had, and he knew that he had to meet his godchildren before Pansy followed through with her threat to name someone else godfather to Zachariah and Jedidiah.

"You have some nerve Draco Malfoy," Pansy cried when he stepped into their living room behind Theo who had answered the door and let him into the couple's home.

"I'm sorry to have worried you Pan's," he said, quietly approaching her, where she sat on the cream sofa, a small, blanketed bundle in each arm.

"We were so worried about you, you shouldn't have been in the field, you took a step back from active duty for a reason," she reprimanded.

"I know I did," he nodded.

"If you hadn't of made it, Scorpius would of," she broke off, angry tears welling in her eyes.

"I know, but I had to go, I had to see to it that Greyback was gone from this world," he told her, Pansy nodded.

"Enough, of all this drama, I've had it between my parents and what they did to Posy and you almost getting killed. I want to draw a line in the sand at least for today," she whispered.

"Completely understandable, how is Posy doing," he asked.

"As well as can be expected, she seems okay during the day, physically she is recovered, mentally is another situation entirely, she keeps having nightmares. I will never forgive them for what they did, I hope they spend their lives in Azkaban," she told him.

"I hope so too," he told her firmly.

"Today's a happy occasion though, you are out of the hospital, Draco meet your godchildren, on the left we have Jedediah, on the right we have Zachariah," she said, smiling at the two boys in her arms. Draco looked at them, two sleeping peach faced babies, with light freckles across the bridges of their tiny noses, he could see thick tufts of curly black hair sticking out from under two little striped, blue hats.

"They are perfect Pans, congratulations," he whispered.

"Thank you, Drake," she smiled at him.

"Uncle Draco, you're here," Posy squealed running into the room, and launching herself onto his knee.

"You look much better Primrose," he said, kissing her forehead, the small girl wrinkled her nose in disgust.

"I don't like that name," she said, Draco nodded seriously.

"Your right, far too stuffy, sorry Posy," he grinned.

"Oh honestly, name a child a respectable name and they never use it," Pansy muttered, Draco laughed.

"Zach and Jed might like their names," he commented, Pansy glared at him.

"Is Scorp with you, Uncle Draco," Posy asked him, wide eyed.

"Not today sweetie, we'll arrange a playdate for you soon," he told her.

"Have you not been home yet," Theo asked him.

"Not yet, your house was my first stop, I'll be heading over to collect Scorp next," he told them tiredly.

"Scorp will be happy to hear that you and Healer Mione have made a full recovery," Theo teased, Draco flushed a grin rising to his lips.

"Seems Scorp isn't the only Malfoy besotted with her," Pansy laughed.

"Draco's had a thing for her since we were teens," Theo told his wife, the dark-haired witch nodded knowingly.

"Yes, I recall, so Draco does she have a good bedside manner," the witch asked him.

"She's wonderful company," he replied.

"Tell us more," Theo asked him.

"We have a date on Saturday," he confessed.

"We're happy for you," Pansy told him as baby Zachariah began to cry.

"Feeding time, are you hungry," Pansy cooed at the infant.

"I'll leave you too it," Draco said, hurriedly standing as Pansy began unbuttoning her blouse.

"There only breasts Draco," she laughed.

"Even so, I don't want to see yours, you are my sister Pans," he told her.

"Uncle Draco is Healer Mione going to be Scorp's new mummy," Posy asked him quietly from where she now stood beside him.

"I hope so," he grinned bidding his goodbye to the small family.

"Stay away from field work," Pansy called after him, he'd do his best to, but it wasn't a promise he could keep, there was always a chance something would call him back to the field, but he'd try to stick to desk work.

Draco made his way into his parent's home, the sounds of his son's laughter carrying through the building, Draco followed the melodic sound to the toy room his parents had made for Scorpius. He opened the door silently, peering inside at his son and father. Scorpius was floating inside a large bubble, laughing uproariously as his father directed the bubble through the air, sending his son through hoops and under floating bars, completing some form of magical obstacle course the pair had conjured within the large room.

"Higher Grandpa Lucie," Scorpius squealed, moving his arms as though he was swimming, helping to project his bubble forward as his grandfather increased his height.

"This looks very fun," Draco commented, grinning at the pair.

"Daddy," Scorpius called, his bubble popping, the boy lowering to the floor, in three steps he was in front of him, his arms wrapping tightly around his knees.

"Scorp, I missed you," he told him, leaning down to pick his son up.

"I missed you too Daddy," his son told him, kissing his face sweetly.

"Were you good for Nanna Cissa and Grandpa Lucie," he asked.

"He was an angel," his father confirmed.

"I have so many things to tell you daddy, we went to see the ducks and had ice cream, we had a battle with dragons, Nanna Cissa got very angry at a beetle, we read stories, I made you pictures," Scorpius rambled excitedly, Draco grinned, nodding seriously, listening to his son as he told him all about his stay with his grandparents.
