The brunette stepped onto the beaches, grinning up at one of his friends. To tell the truth, he had fallen for her years ago, but hadn't the courage. He walked up the bank to her, remaining with grin.

She ran a hand through her dark red hair and chuckled. "You look so weird when wet," she said quietly, but loud enough for him to hear.

"It's over, I just know it," he said in response. "I get to look weird for the rest of my life. Just you and me… and Riku."

She chuckled again and ended with a smile as she tilted her head towards a dock. "Wanna view the sunset?"

Sora found it fitting. The two of them, in the end, viewing the end of the day. It seemed almost perfect. He smiled and nodded, following the dry girl to the dock as he dripped upon the pure sand. He loved being back with her. It seemed like life was easier now that they were grown up and had realized a few things.

Life would never be the same alone.

"Hey, Kairi," he said, "ever think that things might change again?"

She looked at him and frowned. "Sora, do you want to leave again? So soon after getting back?"

Sora shook his head, drops of water flying through the air on accident. "I just… I wanted to know if you would share a Paopu Fruit with me. I wan to stay connected with you forever, in case our worlds get separated again, I want to know I will always meet back up with you in the end." He felt slightly embarrassed until she did something.

Kairi leaned forwards and planted a kiss on his cheek. "I've been waiting to hear you say that."

Sora beamed and took her hand in his, leading her to the Paopu Tree on the island. His heart racing, knowing that wherever he went, he would always be tied to love in the end.
