Newly hired Hogwarts Professor Albus Dumbledore was curious as to what he would see in The Mirror of Erised. As a student, he had seen himself as one the most celebrated and decorated wizard in history. However, that was then. Before his desire for greatness and power killed his sister.

As soon as he got the chance, Dumbledore found the mirror and looked inside. He gasped.

There, before his own eyes, was Gellert Grindlewald, the man who had caused him so much pain. He lovingly smiled and put a hand on his shoulder. Albus touched his own shoulder with his left hand and saw a shiny gold band. Eyes wide, Albus quickly looked at Gellert's fingers, and saw a matching gold band.

He hung his head. Even after all these years, he still wasn't over him. Why? He knew he was bad for him, his love was mostly for show.

He dared to look up. He and Gellert weren't alone. Arianna was there, alive and well, happily using her magic without fear. She was also happily married. Four happy children appeared, two appeared to be Arianna's, and two appeared to be his. One of them, he would later notice, looked strikingly similar to the yet to be born Harry James Potter.
