Authors Note- Hey everyone! Sorry I didn't get a chance to post this chapter on fanfiction yet, as I have to remember I do have two sites to update on now and not just one. Many say they like reading it on Wattpad more but I will still be uploading them onto here as well so that my readers here who are not familiar with Wattpad still have a place to come to and read this story! I'm glad people are liking the reboot so far, I know it won't be the EXACT same but I just hope it is for good reasons when people point that out. Pharya as a person is more mature, however she will make mistakes and her and Colby's history is a little more in depth, along with her and Devitt. So I think starting the story here is perfect, also because we get to see Ellie's real climb the ladder moment. Only those who seen FastLane 2016 will know what I'm talking *wink wink*

Anyway! I do hope you all continue to read and enjoy.

Straight Edge Sister
_

Pharya sat with Rebecca and Mercedes at the restaurant table.

"This omelet looks really false advertising." Rebecca eyes squint. "I'm going to be upset if it doesn't look like that."

"You have been debating on a egg for five minutes." Pharya rolls her eyes. "You do realize that. Right?"

Mercedes had her chin rested in her palm. "Five? I'm counting on ten."

"Excuse me for wanting to be sure I get something good before we go to work." Rebecca adjusts her menu with a scoff. Mercedes and Pharya raise amused brows. "Support would be nice."

"I gave you support for the first minute, now your just killing us." Pharya nods.

Ashley walks over. "Hey,"

Mercedes moves over. "You made it. Thought we wouldn't see you until later on."

"Got up late." Ashley grabs a menu from the center. "We order yet?"

"I don't know." Pharya looks to her side. "Rebecca?"

Rebecca smacks down the top of Pharya's snapback to her laughter.

Mercedes snorts. "We were waiting for Rebecca to decide."

Pharya fixes it to the back. Wearing her black sweats and black tank top with matching sneakers. Her messed curls out-hanging down her back.

Ashley reads it over. "I'll just do the special."

"See be more like Ashley!" Pharya points.

Ashley chuckles. "So you guys excited about Sunday?"

"First PPV match for you guys, I'm hyped." Pharya claps.

"Now you know they are going to involve you somehow." Mercedes says.

Pharya waves it off. "I'm okay if they don't. I will be happy just watching you guys in action for myself."

"Just wait until we all get in a ring." Ashley points. "Now that's going to be crazy."

"Tell me about it." Pharya groans. "Oh my gosh, I swear I can see it. I'm thinking biggest stage..."

"WrestleMania?" Rebecca smirks.

"WrestleMania." Pharya nods.

"No, no, can you guys imagine the way I would freak out to have a match with all of us at WrestleMania." Mercedes shakes her head. "I think I'd literally scream."

"Me and you both." Pharya scoffs. "The way that would change things. I'll be more happy when they drop this whole 'Diva' wording. No offense, but my mother even knows I would never call myself that." She sips her drink.

"I agree." Ashley nods. "No offense to the ones who helped pave the way for us, but I'm ready for that change. The longer matches is one thing, but main events, cage matches, the list freaking continues. That is where the difference is."

Rebecca sighs. "Going to take some time."

"Yeah, but we got this." Pharya nudges her. "I couldn't think of better women to work my way to the top with. One road at a time."

Mercedes raises her glass. "Agreed."

"Not going to lie to you guys, that butterfly belt..." Pharya looks at them. "...Gotta go."

They laugh.

Ashley says in between laughter. "I kind of like it!"

"Yeah okay, my character with that belt." Pharya head tilts. "Think about it."

Rebecca eyes go into slits. "Yeah, nope. Can not see you wearing that."

"See!" Pharya points. "I like The World title the guys have. I say take that and just beautify it for the girls."

Mercedes pouts. "I can get with it."

"No. Same." Ashley agrees. "You mention any of this yet?"

"To Paul and his only answer was. Show us what you guys got, and I'll make things possible." Pharya shrugs. "So in other words..."

"We better work our asses off." Ashley puts in.

Pharya points. "Pretty much." She sees cameras and double takes. "What are they here for?"

Rebecca takes a peek. "Oh! They are the guys working with Total Divas. You know for their filming."

"Ah," Pharya nods. "I'm surprised you didn't sign up, Bec's."

Rebecca slows her head turn to Pharya who snickers.

"The excitement of you being here," Rebecca shows the space between her fingers. "This much left." Pharya laughs.

"Yeah, I had invited Paige but she had some things to do with them." Ashley says.

"Aw," Pharya pouts. "Well I'm glad that she likes doing the show."

"Would you ever do it?" Mercedes asks her.

Rebecca snorts to a look from Pharya.

"Please," Rebecca waves it off. "Pharya hates when she is in her own business."

"This," Pharya wait. "This is true. I'm just to much of a private person. I love that they do it for the fans and give them entertainment, but the only camera time they are getting from me is in that ring."

"Respect it." Ashley fives her. "Devitt here yet?"

"That's a good question." Pharya pulls out her phone. "I don't know if he is going to meet us at the arena or show up here."

"The fact you knew half the roster before you all came here." Mercedes scoffs.

"Both fun and terrifying." Pharya sighs. Ashley and Mercedes raise brows. "Fun because I missed a good majority of them and they are some cool guys. Terrfying because a lot of them knew me before I became this calm version."

"You say it like you were a wild girl on the indy scene." Ashley chuckles.

"She was." Rebecca says with no hesitation.

"Hey!"

"Okay. To a point." Rebecca hands go in defense. "Me and our other best friend Candice kept her in line."

"Excuse me?" Pharya eyes her up and down. "You two were just as bad!"

"Eh." Rebecca shrugs. "Okay, yeah. Granted you were worse."

Pharya rolls her eyes. "All this to say, I had a life before this. I had good people around me, keeping me in the right direction. Allen is one."

"AJ Styles?" Mercedes asks, Pharya nods. "I always wanted to meet him."

"He's a good guy." Pharya smiles. "Never thought I have a father on the road but here he still is. Pain in my ass."

"I'm texting him that you said that."

"Snitch."

Rebecca giggles. "I can't wait to see him up here one day. Surprised they haven't went for him yet."

"Only a matter of time." Pharya nods. "I got a feeling he will be here sometime next year, it's just all about the right timing."

"Which ever stadium that is, that roof will be gone."

"Yes," Pharya laughs. "I'm going to go to the bathroom. When the waitress comes back, tell her I want the second special and somebody make Rebecca choose."

Rebecca jaw drop.

"Your getting this omelet." Mercedes points to the menu.

"Now wait a minute!" Rebecca argues.

Pharya had been stopped a few times on her way to the bathroom by a few fans and decided to speak to a couple who filmed seeing her. A feeling she had gotten used to over the years but this time it felt more bigger than normal, she guess she could thank WWE for that.

On her way back.

"Brooks," A voice calls out to her.

Pharya looks over to see the table of Cessaro, Joe, Colby, and Kevin Owens.

"Did Kevin Owens just call me?" Pharya walks over. "I feel honored. Really."

Kevin circles a finger. "Don't do that sarcasm thing you do."

Pharya laughs. "Good Morning, you guys."

"Good Morning." Joe nods to her. "You met Cessaro yet?"

"I have not." Pharya extends her hand. "Nice to finaly meet the King of Swing."

"You as well, Ellie or Pharya?"

"Whatever flows off the tongue easier for you." Pharya waves it off. "You are seriously amazing in the ring by the way. Hopefully I can get in there and beat you up one day."

"I like this one." Cessaro points, shaking her hand.

Kevin lowers his drink. "She's serious."

Cessaro double takes. "Really?"

"Swing and all." Pharya takes her hand back. "Don't hold back either. I can take a hit."

"That punch in Gergia confirmed it." Kevin points.

"Good times," Pharya sighs.

"Reckless." Colby head shakes.

Pharya giggles. "Where's the pain in the ass that is Mox? Too good for breakfast?"

"Nah, he's having it with Renee." Joe tells her, chuckling.

"My little player became so faithful." Pharya hand goes to her chest. "I'm proud." The men share a low chuckle. "Well I don't want to keep you guys. It was nice meeting you, Cessaro."

"You as well, Pharya." Cessaro nods.

"Hold on. Who are you having breakfast with?" Colby asks.

"Just some of the girls." Pharya tells him. "Rebecca's idea, I wanted to hit the gym and sleep a little longer."

Colby chuckles. "Well that I know. I was a pillow half the ride yesterday."

"Hey, I gave you a five star rating for comfortableness." Pharya hands go up in defense.

Kevin head tilts. "That a word?"

"Is now if it's not." Pharya looks at him.

"Noted." Kevin nods.

Pharya eyes wander and notice Colby looking at her. Taken back she couldn't help her smile that came onto her features.

Joe stopped in mid sip to follow her stare and noticed who Pharya was looking to.

He watched his friend smile back at her. A smile he hadn't seen on him for a while, the only time Joe could recall that kind of joy is when it came to Colby and a wrestling ring. Even Cessaro had taken a notice to the two.

"So you make up words now?" Colby asks her.

"We can add that to my list of good traits." Pharya nods.

Colby laughs under his breath. "You got a long list there, Phar."

"Took some time to build it up." Pharya giggles, she finds it in her to break the hold his eyes had on her.

Kevin looks over her shoulder. "Finn's here?"

Pharya snaps her head around to see him coming in with a few men from NXT.

"I'll catch you guys at the arena." Pharya says to them, she jogs off.

"They know each other?" Cessaro nods across the room.

Kevin nods. "Since teen years."

Devitt stops his conversation when he saw someone practically running over to him.

A wide grin spreads on his face.

"There she is!"

Pharya laughs jumping on him, letting him hold her up as she hugs him tight.

Kevin watched them. "I almost thought they dated at one point."

"Did they?" Colby spoke up, he continued watching the two.

Kevin head shakes. "I don't think so."

"Why are you so worried about it?" Joe asks him.

Colby tore his eyes away from them. "I'm not. Just asking, people did say that a lot like Kevin said."

He couldn't help but let his eyes wander back to the two and how they interacted. Colby knew how close they were back in the Indy's but he also remembered how very protective Devitt was over Pharya. Something continued to poke at him about how Pharya smiled and played around Devitt. It wouldn't be a shock to him if they did date at one point. As no one needed to tell a soul how close they were, it was visible by the way she hugged and looked at the guy.

Why did it anger him to see that?

Colby didn't dislike Finn by any means but the way he was close with Pharya, apart of him felt jealous of that. The instant joy on her face from knowing Devitt was there...

Could anyone else ever bring it out of her? He didn't even remember such expressions when it came to Ross. It seemed that Devitt was in a category all on his own, apart of him couldn't help but wonder why that is.

Just a small crush he had on her in the past, but even then it was something about the girl he met. Tough to everyone—but for a moment, she'd break it and show her heart to people who deserved it.

Flashback...

Colby walks out the rec in his jacket, breathing in his hands as the chill air hit them.

Taking a look up, he watched Ross angrily stalk pass. He just simply moved as the guy's mind had clearly been elsewhere like alwaysso off that he didn't even make eye contact or notice him.

Walking around the side to the parking lot, he stopped when he saw the back of someone sitting on the curb in the lot.

Just a t-shirt, and jeans, the girl sat with her legs curled-waiting.

Colby looks around and was careful to approach her.

"Excuse me?"

Looking over her shoulder, he was taken back to see the sad brown eyes of Pharya Brooks staring back at him.

He watched the slight shock on her face as she quickly tried to mask it with a brave smile but it didn't meet her eyes.

"Hey, Lopez."

"You know I go by, Tyler Black around here." Colby asks her. Pharya brow raises. "You don't care," he nods to a slight genuine smile from her. "At least your nice about it. What are you doing out here?"

Pharya motions back. "Just waiting for Ross to get the keys. I made a mistake and left them inside at the show."

"That's it?" Colby blinks. "You would have thought someone hit his car the way he stormed inside."

Pharya head shakes. "It was my fault, I should have made sure to grab them."

"Doesn't give him the excuse to overreact like that."

"I know." Pharya looks away.

"He left you out here?"

"Yeah, but I'm alright." Pharya rubs the chills on her arms. "He won't be long."

Colby looks around the dark lot and mumbles a curse to himself.

He walks over and has a seat to a raised brow from her.

"Look I can't just leave you out here." Colby admits. "Despite me not being your favorite person, I don't need anything happening to you out here."

Pharya giggles. "You believe your not my favorite person?"

"You called me arrogant."

"Yes," Pharya looks over to him. "Didn't say you weren't my favorite person or that I dislike you. Some people just have certain traits about them. I'm sure you'll grow out of it."

"Then I'll be your favorite?"

Pharya laughs and plays along. "Yes."

Colby smiles and takes his jacket off. "Your killing me being out here like this. Why didn't you go inside?"

"Ross told me not to." Pharya looks down.

Colby mutters under his breath. "At least put this on."

"No, no I'm oka-"

"Pharya, come on." Colby pushes it to her. "Ease my nerves would you."

A smile as she carefully takes it from him and puts it over her shoulders.

"I'll give it back when he comes out."

"Eh," Colby waves it off. "I got plenty in my suitcase. Can never have to many."

"This is true." Pharya giggles, she looks at him. "Why are you out here?"

"Waiting for the guys." Colby waves it off. "I meant to tell you, nice match in there."

"Thank you," Pharya nudged him. "Look at you being nice for once."

"Okay, cut that out." Colby says to her laugh. "I'm not that bad."

"No," Pharya shakes her head. "Your not bad, Colby. Just rough around the edges."

"Gee, thanks."

Pharya laughs. "Don't worry, you'll meet the right person to smooth them out."

Colby eyes cast down. "Kind of feels like I already have, a few times."

Pharya double takes. "Really? Who is it? Not Kate is it? The chick needs more therapy than me."

"No." Colby chuckles-he looks at her. "A good friend I think I made, but I don't get to see her much." Pharya eyes saddened again. "Kind of think I missed my chance. Bad timing and all."

"You know, just because it isn't the right time now, doesn't mean you won't get the opportunity later." Pharya shrugs. "Just about waiting."

"They say that's how you found the right one, when life brings you both back together. So, I think I can wait for her one day." Colby agrees.

"Good." Pharya smiles. "That's how you know she's worth it."

A slight laugh under his breath, he nods and looks at her. "Got a feeling she'll always be worth it..."

Pharya eyes narrow to see his gaze and hides her urge to grin with a small smile as she looks away from him.

"Your a lot of trouble, Lopez."

"Your not?" Colby brow perks.

Pharya smirks, eyes flickering ahead. "Fair game, fair game." She nods her head. "I really hope you meet that girl again."

Colby brown eyes flickered over to see her smiling at him and this time the smile met her eyes. The first genuine smile he had seen from her all weekend. One smile from her was enough to make his world stop for a brief moment, and her laugh was another feeling to him. Maybe it was passing feelings, and maybe it wasn't. A lot of the guys called her average backstage but he didn't see that and never tolerated anyone saying those words around him. Her personality and everything about her, it was so rare and a breath of fresh air.

The girl he missed his chance to be with, but life had a funny way of coming back. And a strong part of him hoped that he she would.

"I think I will meet her again..."

End flashback

Colby continued to let the thoughts and memories of their encounters race through his mind.

Joe takes his eyes off the menu to see Colby spaced out as Cessaro and Kevin had their own conversation.

"Hey," Joe gets his attention. "You alright?"

Colby smiles the best he could. "Yeah, man. I'm fine." A flicker of his eyes over to the two once more. "I think I am at least..."

Devitt walked with Pharya back across the restaurant.

"I texted you twice." Pharya tells him. "I didn't know if you were going to be at the arena or what."

"I was, but since we had to get Ian and he's staying here. I wanted to stop in and say hi." Devitt looks at her. "How do you feel? Ms. Starting an Evolution."

"Working on it." Pharya smiles. "With some other beautiful women by the way."

"You guys got everyone excited for this." Devitt pats her back. "Never been more proud. Make sure you remember us little people when you climb that ladder on the WWE totem."

Pharya eyes roll. "Please. I'll be right where I am now."

"You really doubt how amazing and gifted you are in that ring, I am very convinced of this." Devitt nods, Pharya chuckles. "I'm serious. You made it here for a reason,"

"I really hope so." Pharya nods.

"Hey," Devitt gets in her eye sight. "You got this. You hear me?" Pharya smiles, she shakes her head and hugs him tight. "Just a new place, that's all." Taking a deep breath, Pharya sighs it out. "Your nerves get more easy to point out as you get older."

Pharya giggles. "Shut up,"

Devitt chuckles and rubs her back. "You got this, Pharya."

"You always say that." Pharya pulls back.

"Have I been proven wrong?" Devitt brow raises.

"Not once." Pharya shakes her head. "Going to come say hey to everyone before you leave us."

"Oh hush, you'll see me at the arena." Devitt puts her in a headlock as they walk to the table. "But I do want to get on Rebecca's nerves."

"Like you do mine."

"All love, Phar..."

"Yeah, right." Pharya laughs.

Smackdown, backstage 'On screen'

Team BAD were talking to JoJo about them being the new trifecta of the Divas Division.

"And you can Bank on that." Sasha finishes in JoJo's face.

A look up, all three women stopped to take a look at the person who walked over.

JoJo follows their eyes to see Ellie Brooks stepping into view.

Cheers that could be heard from arena into the back.

Arms folded across her chest, Ellie stood on the opposite side of JoJo.

Wearing her cropped, The Authority black shirt that hung off her shoulders, and denim blue ripped jeans. Her hair up in a high pony tail—and placed over her shoulder.

"Now if it isn't little fourth runner up," Sasha fake smiles. "Oh wait, I forgot, is it...Triple H's little chosen one. Or do you prefer puppet? Last call, last option?" Naomi snorts, Tamina smirks. "Oh I got so many names for you baby Brooks, that list could go on." Ellie simply looks down unbothered, her eyes flicker back up to her. "But I think girls, I like overrated better. What do you think, Ellie? Overrated works for you?

"That depends, does second best works for you?"

Sasha double takes. "What did you say?"

"You better watch yourself." Naomi points.

"Oh hush." Ellie says to Naomi, she looks back to Sasha.

"A-who she talking to?!" Naomi points. "You better get her before I-"

"I got this," Sasha moves Naomi to Tamina who held her back. "So you do speak huh."

"When I feel like it's worth it, sure." Ellie nods.

"What are you trying to say?"

"You can't be this slow." Ellie chuckles.

"Let me tell you something-"

"Listen I just came over to wish you luck against Bayley for your NXT title." Ellie tells her.

"Luck?" Sasha laughs it off, she get in her face. "You should be lucky I don't smack you for Monday night." Ellie smiles. "I will smack that pearly white smile off your face."

"Your hands broke or something?" Ellie brow raise. Sasha gets in her face to the crowds loud cheering. "Don't sell a ticket, I cash them faithfully."

"I will drag you," Sasha warns.

"Yet, you still haven't did it. Legs broke to?" Ellie head tilts. "Seems about right, for a broke down Boss."

Sasha forced a slight glaring laugh, she lunged but Tamina holds her back.

"No, because who do you think you are huh?" Sasha shouts. "You better watch yourself Brooks!"

"Or what? You know what, let me be honest, I like this that you guys are doing." Ellie motions to them. "This little team thing you girls got going on here. All of this to take down one three woman team. I get to see The Bella's gone and you all smack each other around. I'm really going to enjoy watching this."

"All you can do is watch." Sasha argues. "Leave the wrestling to the real women and stay your little butt in Triple H's pocket." Ellie glares at her but that crooked smile stayed put. "You had your little shining moment against the Bella's, but that one moment doesn't do anything. That is exactly why you won't be involved this Sunday. See because one of us," Sasha motions between Naomi and Tamina. "we are going to show Team Bella, and those other three, who's the best team in the Divas division." Ellie chuckles. "What's funny?"

"You really think this is going to last?" Ellie asks, her eyes going into amused slits. "I just wonder how long before one of these teams get the biggest head. Before one of you gets a title shot, and then the jealousy starts to expose itself slowly. Everyone is a team until they find out only one person can win. Only one goes to the top Sasha, never three." Sasha closes her mouth, glaring. "That's the difference between me and you. I could have chose women to come in with but I didn't want to. Why should I?" Ellie head tilts. "I literally get to watch you all self destruct and will have to do absolutely nothing. You all will do all the work for me, and prove my point."

"How about you just admit that nobody wanted to team with you." Naomi tells her.

"Well there's that," Ellie shrugs. "I never play well with others. I also couldn't promise Hunter that I wouldn't smack their head against the ring post." Tamina eyes widened eyeing her up and down. "I don't tolerate people. But then there's also the main reason I don't have a team."

Naomi scoffs. "Which is?"

Ellie looks to Sasha. "That I don't need a team to beat any of you."

Sasha gets in her face. "That's the only way you could ever beat me."

"Want to bet money on that?"

"I doubt you have it." Sasha smirks, Ellie shares her own. "There's only one Boss."

Ellie keeps her gaze on Sasha. "Notice how I said that I could beat any of 'you', and yet Sasha made it clear that an army would be the only way to beat, her...." Naomi and Tamina exchange looks. Sasha glares at a smirking Ellie. "Like I said. Everyone is a team until it comes down to winning."

"I meant, us." Sasha tells them.

"Right." Ellie chuckles. "You all enjoy your night. Again Sasha, good luck, and try not to loose. Though we both know, that's asking for wayyyy to much."

Sasha stepped forward but Tamina kept her back. The three of them glare in the direction Ellie left in.

Later, backstage...

The camera shows Seth in the backstage office of The Authority to a loud mixed reaction.

Wearing his button down collared shirt with his sleeves rolled up—tucked in a pair of black slacks. His hair down and pushed back as a couple buttons on his shirt sat undone.

The title sat behind him on a small stand.

He texted on the phone.

Seth looks up when he heard the door. "And just where the heck were you?"

"Minding my business and leaving yours so much alone." Ellie steps in view to cheers. "Where's Kane?"

"Do I got a 'Kane Keeper' sign on me?"

"No but you're about have my hand print on the side of your face, keep it up." Ellie nods.

The crowd laughs at Seth shock.

Seth waves it off. "Listen, can we just talk about this Sunday please?"

"Nothing to talk about." Ellie has a seat on the leather couch with a sigh.

"You said you were going to help me." Seth turns around.

Ellie head tilts, unsure. "Mmm. Did I?"

"Woman." Seth points.

Ellie laughs. "Chill out, Sethie. I got ya."

"Do not call me that." He points.

"It's cute."

"Do I look cute to you?"

Ellie amused smile stayed planted on her face. "You really just beg me to insult you at this point."

"Never mind." Seth throws up his hands.

Ellie rolls her eyes, grabbing a magazine. "Chill out. Would you."

"I'm sorry, one of us has an actual match Sunday."

"You throw shade for a side job don't you?" Ellie flips through the magazine.

Seth walks over. "That's because I asked an evil midget for help and right now I'm not so sure if I want her help, or if you are even going to do anything to help me."

"Answer me one thing, Sethie." Ellie reads.

"What?"

"What do you have to lose in trusting me?" Ellie asks.

"Everything I worked for." Seth argues.

Ellie looks up, scoffing a slight laugh. "Dude. Be serious."

"I worked hard to get here." Seth says more stern.

"No." Ellie eyes go back to the magazine. "Everyone else around you has, you my friend just benefited from it." Seth rolls his eyes. "You know after you sold out the only two who really cared."

"Leave the past where it is." Seth warns.

Ellie eyes flicker up. "Why? You don't..." Seth head tilts. "Everything you have done just keep haunting you. Took out Randy, he came back for you, cheated Brock and he came back for you..."

"I'm not having this conversation."

"Truth hurts don't it." Ellie asks him. "Not use to your little bull crap words not working on someone. Or are you more so afraid of everything coming back to make you pay for it."

"Whatever."

Ellie head tilts, she puts the magazine to the side and gets up. "That's life you know. Everybody has to answer for something bad they have done."

"Let me guess you have done nothing?"

"I have done everything." Ellie stops in front of him. "Which is why I can call your bull when I see it. Your not the only one who has to stare their past back in the face and answer to it. Won't be the last. I'm helping you Seth, because I choose to..."

"Yeah? Why?" Seth asks her. "What do you get out of it?"

Ellie shrugs. "Hopefully the same thing you do..." Seth brows pull. "Someone to finally trust again..."

"You care if I trust you?"

"Not really." Ellie admits, Seth eyes roll making her chuckle. "But it does help if you do."

Seth eyes her. "Triple H is the one that picked you, but that doesn't mean I trust you. I'll see what happens Sunday to determine that."

"Fair enough." Ellie hands go up in defense. "Just remember what I told you."

"Some stupid rhyme about a dead man. What the hell does that even mean?"

"Just go with it." Ellie sighs. "Why do you have to debate me?"

"The same reason you argued with me about not holding the door open earlier."

"Got to admit that was a pretty b-move and you did it on purpose."

The crowd laughs as Seth rolled his eyes.

"I can not, I can't do this." Seth rubs his temples. "Are you sure Hunter picked you? Not the wrong email or something?"

"Oh please, you would be devastated if it was."

"When did I say that?"

Ellie glares. "That hate I have for you is really growing thick."

Seth smirks. "Do you really hate me?"

"I wouldn't mind seeing you knocked out." Ellie admits, carelessly.

Seth scoffs. "You'd probably be the one to do it."

"Love that your starting to know me Rollins." Ellie smiles. Seth raises a brow making her give him a confused glance. "What?"

"First time I seen you actually smile without it being evil related." Seth says to laughs from people.

"So?" Ellie brow raised.

"You actually look nice when you smile." Seth admits.

Ellie noticed his gaze making her shuffle. "Your point Seth?"

Seth stepped closer to her. "My point, Ellie." Her eyes flicker up to meet his. "You should do it more..."
Ignoring those butterflies in her stomach she prayed he didn't catch the blush on her cheeks, and looks away from him. "Now what's this? For the first time, you got nothing smart to say back to me."

"No, I don't."

Seth chuckles, looking down at her. "That's a first."

"Yeah-well," Ellie stumbles to his brow raising amusement. "Oh shut up, and leave me alone."

Leaving him, Seth watches her leave with a smirk.

"Now that last part I don't see happening, Brooks..."
