As the once subtle wind changed into a howling cackle such was the tension now created within the large halls in which the 5 figures remain.

"Huh"

the younger boy asked dumbfounded as though his brain could not perceive the words just directed at him

"I challenge you for the right of heir"

sairaorg answered his response as firm as the first with no hint of fear or regret present within his tone.

No response was heard

Worrying slightly sairaorg approached Lucian as his brotherly instincts took over his stalwart stance.

"Hmmmhmmm "

The boy slowly cackled merely in a whisper his head hung low hair covering his piercing purple eyes. Suddenly, his head shot upright as though possessed by an otherworldly being a sickening smile smeared his face laced with amusement.

"HAHAHAHA AHAHAHAHA"

His laughter engulfed the room in a sea of confusion Magdaran who had remained dead silent up until this point gazed at his brother inquisitively.

"Is there something you find humerus dear brother"

Magdaran asked worry and skepticism laced in his words.

"Ah Magdaran of course I have found something humerus I am staring at it this failure of an older brother has become a comedian I must say that was one hell of a punchline dearest elder"

The boy hummed his words flowing with gleeful tone as the boys childishness was on full display for all to witness.

"What he speaks is the truth Lucian"

Lord bael sharply responds annoyed by his middle child's outburst however the laughter would not stop as Lucians moans of glee would only grown louder echoing through the entirety of the gargantuan residence.

"Thats...great you even managed to convince father to be in on the joke I must give you credit sair-"

"Enough silliness Lucian the challenge is official as much as I may dislike it he is a bael and entitled to challenge for the right"

Silence.

"Your serious?"

Lucian asks now back to his cold persona yet a few cracks still remain.

Sairaorg removing his noble attire revealing a more streamlined harness more accustomed for battle began to walk out the hall his hair covering his eyes which held anger from his brothers humiliation.

"We shall fight in the courtyard as agreed yes lord Zekram?"

Sairaorg asked not caring to turn and face the man.

"Yes come now Lucian this is but the first of many tests you shall face I have but one piece of advice for you... win"

Zekram coldly stated before following on in sairaorgs direction.

Magdaran to rose from his dormant state as he passed his brother whispering.

"I shall forever support you big brother"

Before subtlety leaving the room.

Last to stand was lord bael staring intently at his second born the one he and Zekram both believed would become the perfect devil and representative of what a devil could become he merely walked past before uttering a single word.

"Win"

That one single word had just pushed the pressure's of the entire underworld upon the boy who now realising his situation his calculated mask returned as his slow footsteps slashed against the hard flooring showcasing his anger for how the day had turned.

Outside the two boys stood fifty metres apart surrounded by nothing but the nature in which the boy had lay claim to merely an hour ago.

Sairaorg held a focused gaze his muscles twitching and ears perked ready to react at a moments notice.

Opposite to him Lucian adapting a placid mood upon his face his body relaxed as though he had not a care in the world from gazing at him one could tell his confidence in the outcome of the fight.

The 3 figures off to the side gazed silently at the due before a lone figure appeared. Zekram, he looked down upon both boys before readying himself

"May the official challenge for the title of house of bael"

he looked between both boys confident none would simply submit to the other before finishing his speech.

"Commence!"

Both combatants slowly tread towards their opposition before in the blink of an eye the both disappeared.

Bang!

Their fists clashed with each other's faces sairaorgs raw power leaving a lasting mark upon the boy where he himself remained unharmed.

"H...how?"

Lucian questioned his speed being matched and his raw power being bested his smug attitude now replaced with one of slight concern yet encased in determination.

Both boys quickly lunged for each other at superhuman speeds with lucians defence holding adamantly yet beginning to crumble due to the onslaught of vicious blows delivered by sairaorg.

With a quick punch Lucian was sent hurdling back before crashing into a rich base around a hundred metres from where the strike was delivered.

As the dust settled Lucian emerged anger twisting his face into an evil scowl his bloodied cloths now torn to shreds revealing his damaged body.

"This is what I have trained for"

Sairaorg suddenly spoke offsetting the silence between the two.

"Everyday since as long as I can remember I have broken myself and come back stronger for this very moment can you say the same Lucian!"

Sairaorg roared before dashing at the wounded boy however as he encroached the boys aura a blackish colour enveloped the boys body this led sairaorg to only one conclusion...he was taking this fight seriously now.

"Did you fool"

The younger boy spoke with hate engraved in every syllable.

In a flash Power of destruction once conjugated around Lucian shot towards sairaorg its speed and ferocity catching him leaving him no time to dodge fully as his arm was encased with the magic.

However, after more than a few seconds his arm was no more replaced with a stump with a black layer coating its outside still clinging to whatever else it could destroy.

Sairaorg recoiled in pain now having to fight more conservatively due to his brothers trump card one that if the was born normal would have been entitled to aswell.

"Did you think it would be that easy?"

Lucian questioned.

"All this talk about breaking yourself and achieving your goals is infuriating"

He continued rage now present within his dialogue.

"What about my dreams?, what about my future?, and what about my happiness? Do they mean nothing if you win sairaorg you win everything if you lose you lose nothing your already at the bottom!, if I lose however I lose everything and if I win I gain nothing I have worked just as hard as you sairaorg do you honestly think I've done nothing with my time I to have worked expanding upon my knowledge of POD to become a perfect devil an... and I will not let you take it from me!"

Lucian screeched as he readied himself for the greatest challenge of his life this was no longer a laughing matter this was his livelihood and future on the line and he could not lose.

As the battle stretched from minutes into hours the purple sky above remained unchanged as the dormant moon watched closely upon all those present in the great battle.

The land now laid Barron scorch marks littered the area from uncontrollable lashings of POD as the two fighters barely stood both bloodied and battered by their relentless gladiatorial dispute.

They both stood parallel to each other the same position in which they started upon each looking at each other with a mixture of emotions.

For sairaorg he felt pride in himself for how far he had come pushing the so called underworlds greatest bael yet he also felt pride in his heart knowing that his brother had not simply left his powers to Father Time to develop but instead actively sought to develop them even from a young age.

On the opposite stood Lucian his shaking body displayed not only his weak state but also his trembling anger of the outcome of the events that have transpired he felt hatred towards sairaorg for trying to ruin his perfect way of life and yet somewhere deep down In his heart he felt... pride in what his older brother had accomplished not that he would ever acknowledge this thought of course.

Both fighters trudged towards their opposite for they both knew that this was the the epilogue to their great duel as one would now fall in the next assault.

All onlookers were captivated by both boys displays unable to take their eyes off of the ferocious battle.

Lord bael looking visibly irritated sounded his concerns.

"This is preposterous how could that foolish boy compete with Lucian he h-

"It is quite obvious is it not he has not only dedicated his body but his entire being to becoming stronger sairaorg, he is the epitome of dedication"

Zekram responds wonder filling up his eyes and a curious look plastered upon his face.

"Whatever"

Lord bael quietly responds

"I hope Lucian wins"

Magdaran spoke for the first time in hours he was concerned for the brother that had helped him so far in life and ensure he kept up to the standards expected of that of a bael as a result he held great loyalty towards his brother.

Zekram upon hearing this smirked.

"Do not worry yourself for I am confident Lucian shall return victorious"

"What makes you so sure"

Lord bael asked sceptical of Zekrams optimism.

"When you have lived as long as I have you developed this sought of skill and to this fate I have yet to be wrong"

The older man responds casually.

"Clang"

All heads now turned towards the battle as sairaorg makes his first step toward the Lucian determination filled his face as he readied his remaining arm for one last attack.

In comparison Lucian was seemingly calm his outburst from earlier no longer affecting him as he stared blankly at sairaorg.

Unnerved by this sairaorg breaks into a full sprint before soaring into the air and targeting Lucian upon his recent, in retaliation Lucian readied his final shot of POD as he encased it within his hands as he braced for sairaorgs strike.

In an instant, the two connected for the last time in the duel before dust encased the area covering the results of the battle.

As the stunned onlookers desperately tried to uncover the victor a lone figure remained standing the talented one. The one destined for greatness while his deficient brother lay in the cold dirt.

As the smoke dissipated the younger brother was triumphant.

Lucian had won
