WARNING
Cursing.

As we sat down to listen to the speech before the exam my seat was in between Izuku and Bakugo. Izuku was absolutely terrified and Bakugo was just... well Bakugo.
I didn't know him very well, but I did know of his explosive temper and his hatred towards Izuku. I didn't know why he hated him, but it also wasn't my place to ask.
A man in a leather jacket walked out on stage, and the first thing that came to mind was a canary. His blonde hair was somehow suspended in mid-air, probably by vast amounts of hair-gel. I recognized him as The Voice Hero: Present Mic. His Quirk worked somewhat like mine, but he was lucky that he had control over it.
"Welcome to today's live performance! Everybody say 'Hey!'" He yelled into the microphone, but he was met with absolute silence. I kind of felt bad for him. "Well that's cool, my examinee listeners! I'm here to present the guidelines of your practical!! Are You Ready?!" YEAH!!"
He was met with even more silence.
"It's The Voice Hero, Present Mic. Wow!" I heard Izuku mutter beside me. "I listen to his radio show every week. It's inspiring. Guess all the U. A. teachers are Pro Heroes."
"Shaddup..." I heard Bakugo say next to me. I looked at him and narrowed my eyes slightly. He caught my eye, but I held my glare steady for a few solid seconds before turning my attention back to Present Mic. He scoffed and turned his attention as well.
Then Present Mic explained the idea of the exam. He talked about hwo there were three faux villains that we were supposed to destroy in order to gain points. It seemed simple enough, until a boy with dark navy hair and rectangular glasses shot up and raised his hand.
"Excuse me sir, but it seems that there is four villains on this paper. If this is a mistake then U. A. should be shameful. We are all here to become heroes. And you," The boy said, he turned around to face Izuku with a hardened glare. "You have been muttering this entire time. It is extremely distracting. If you are here for just fun and games, I respectfully ask you to leave the premisis."
Izuku freezed up as all eyes turned to him. I looked straight into the navy haired boys dark blue eyes and glared at him. He caught me glaring and blinked, obviously confused, and say back down in his seat.

Then Present Mic continued to exain that the fourth faux villain was just an obstacle, more of a nuisance than a threat. As he told us to head to our assigned zones, my card had "Zone K" on it in big, blocky letters.

...

As I exited the changing room and jogged over to my assigned zone, I could feel nothung but a sense of dread wash over me.

When I got there, I realized just how many people there were. Two people caught my eye in particular.

One of them was female. Her green, vine-like hair reached well below her waist, and her skin was pale. She was probably a few inches taller than me and she seemed to be... praying?

The other was a male. His indigo-colored hair floated above his tired face and his eyes were the same shade as his hair. I could see the bags under his eyes, even though I was at least ten feet away from him. His skin was the same color of the praying girl's.

He caught me staring at him and I looked away quickly, my face most likely red with embarrassment. I heard Present Mic's familiar voice tell us that the exam had started.

A few seconds later I found myself being pushed and shoved through a mass of people. I was able to steady myself and started running as well.

As I enter the faux city I tore away from the group that threatened to trample me. I ran for a few seconds before turning and seeing a two-pointer ramming its iron head into my stomach. As it did I let out a loud gasp.

The robot was hit with the weight of the sound wave and flew about five feet away. It seemed they were heavier than I thought, I winced at the slight pain I felt in my side.

I inspected it and it looked fine, I continued to run whilst searching for faux villains.

After six minutes or so, I was up to about forty-one or maybe forty-two points. I heard a loud thunderous boom from behind me and turned around. When I did I almost gasped.

It was a faux villain. Except, twenty-times larger. This must have been the fourth faux villain Present Mic had talked about. Were the staff at U. A. not worried about potential casualties?

It was not likely anyone would die, but it could still have been a possibility. I saw some of the other examinees around me running the other way, some were frozen in shock. A indigo-haired head caught my eye and I saw the boy from earlier. One of his legs was pinned underneath a large bit of rubble. It seemed as if no one noticed him, or they were too caught up in worrying for themselves to even think about the boy.

I sprinted towards him as fast as I could, as I neared him he looked up and saw me coming in his direction.

"What are you doing?!" He asked as I knelt beside him and tried to move the rock by force. It took all of my strength to not let out any noise whilst doing so. The boy was staring at me with wide eyes. "You need to get out of here! You could get hurt!"

I shot him a glare as I tried to move the rock. It wasn't working, and the villain was getting closer. I was running out of ideas and did the first thing that came to mind. I took a deep breath and stood in a defensive position.

"GO! TO! HELL!!" I yelled, I made sure that I was in front of the indigo-haired boy and that my face was pointed directly to face the robot.

The sound-wave tumbled forward, and as it neared the robot, all other debris was shot out of the way and demolished. When it reached the robot, it hit it with so much force that it was as if thunder had struck from the sky.

The faux villain tumbled backwards, a large indent on the front of its metal body. It seemed as though time stopped for a moment, before hearing a loud crashing sound as well as an airhorn, signaling the end of the exams.

I stumbled forwards just slightly, catching my breath a bit before turning to the boy behind me. His eyes were full of shock and wonder. I smiled a bit and looked at the rock still stuck on his leg. I frowned and continued to try and move it with force.

When the medical bots had finally showed up, I was able to get the boy's foot free from the damned piece of rubble that could have nearly been the end of him. I held out my hand and he hesitated before taking it.

I helped him up and he winced when he put too much weight on his foot. I looked down at it and frowned.

"Why did you do that?" He asked, I looked up at him, slightly puzzled. His gaze was stern, but held the distant stare of thankfulness as well. "Why waste your time in saving me?"

I almost scoffed at his remark.

'Does he not know that we all want to be heroes here? ' I thought to myself. I gave him a stern look and patted myself down, internally groaning as I had forgotten my notepad and pencil in the locker room.

He noticed this and raised a brow. I tried to think of a way to answer him, but I cam up with nothing.

So I tried mouthing the words, slowly.

"I. Can. Not. Speak." I mouthed, he gave me a confused look, and I mouthed the words another time. He finally got it this time and scoffed.

"You sure about that? I'm pretty sure I heard you tell that faux villain to 'Go to hell.'" He said, I gave him an unimpressed stare as the medical bots loaded him on their stretcher.

He obviously didn't want to lay down on that thing, but they made him. I watched as they wheeled him away and out of the faux city.

...

As I exited the changing rooms for a second time, I made sure to look for Izuku everywhere. But I didn't find him.

Then I checked the infermary and, sure enough, he was there, coated in bandages. I sighed internally as I walked over to him. I noticed the indigo-haired boy on another bed with a cast on his foot. I waved at him and smiled as he just nodded in my direction.

I stood at the edge of the bed Izuku was on and glared at the shivering boy. I was tapping my foot and he was trying to divert his eyes eveywhere but my golden gaze.

I furiously wrote out my question on my notepad and showed it too him.

"What The Actual FUCK IZUKU?! " He winced at the paper and sighed as he took a deep breath.

"It- uh, turns out that I do have a Quirk..." He said, shyly. I blinked, that was not the answer I was expecting.

"While that's nice and all Izuku, you still didn't answer my fucking question. What happened? " He was going to say that I didn't ask him that, but I gave him a death threat by just a quick glance into his green irises. He gulped.

"So, I was trying to save a girl from getting smashed by the fourth faux villain and, well my Quirk has a lot of kickback when I use it. So it broke my legs and arm..." I internally sighed and stared at him in slience.

"Listen, Izuku, I'm glad that you helped that girl. But I was looking for you for an hour and a half. I was scared that you had gotten badly injured, even worse than this. But, I'm just glad you're ok, Izuku." I showed him the note and he rubbed the back of his neck shyly. "Now, I am going to head home and treat myself to a hot shower and a long nap. You make sure you don't get into anymore trouble, ok? "

He nodded. "Ok."

I then waved goodbye as I left the room, casting a glance to the indigo-haired boy and swiftly closing the door shut behind me.

I really needed that nap.

Shinsou Hitoshi watched the black and grey gradient-haired girl, walk out of the infermary. She was... interesting, to say the least. A tad confusing, but she seemed nice.

He turned his head towards the green-haired boy she had "talked" to. Which was really just her scribbling something in her notepad and him then reading it in order for him to give her his answer.

When the girl had glared at the boy, Shinsou had felt the air tense up and might've even felt the temperature drop a few degrees. Although, that was really most likely his imagination.

He looked up at the white-tiled ceiling and sighed.

He had forgotten to give his thanks to her. As well as asking for a name.
