3 years later

Dearest Brother, brother!"

Magdaran spoke a sense of urgency present in his tone as he loomed over the sleeping form of his beloved brother.

"Great lucifer is there something you need Magdaran"

Lucian responded groggily peering at his younger brother.

"We have a progress meeting with father in five minutes from what I have heard he is not to happy with us"

He spoke with his eyes displaying fear not going unnoticed by his older brother.

"Calm yourself Magdaran I shall take the brunt of it you need not worry"

Lucian turned to face Magdaran showing him a kind smile barely noticeable yet still present causing Magdaran to look down in shame.

"Come Magdaran let us head down"

Lucian spoke now dressed in a casual dress shirt and trousers as he ushered the younger boy to follow him.

"Yes brother"

Magdaran replied solemnly causing Lucian to sigh at his brothers not to subtle antics.

"What bothers you Magdaran?"

Lucian asked.

"No uh...nothing, nothing brot-"

Magdaran shakily replied before being cut off.

"I am your brother Magdaran I know when something is wrong tell me so that I can help"

Lucian responded in a tone of slight concern.

"You do everything for me Lucian"

Magdaran almost whispered.

"I don't see the issu-"

This time it was Lucians turn to be cut off.

"You take all the pressure off me and burden it upon your own shoulders I... I don't understand why"

His words causing Lucian to stop in his tracks causing worry to Magdaran who believed he had upset his dearest brother. However, when turning to face him he was met with a sad smile on the face of Lucian.

"You love of botany was something I hadn't quite expected from a member of the bael family"

This causing Magdaran to look down in shame of course it was pathetic for a member of the bael family to live nothing but plants.

"I was opposed to it at the start along with father what type of bael cares more about plants than power"

A now dejected Magdaran looked to his brother.

"Oh we-"

Magdaran spoke but was cut off.

"But now as I approach 17 years in the underworld I understand not everyone needs to be like me you are your own person Magdaran with goals and objectives to reach there is no point making you become a great fighter or politician when you want nothing to do with it"

Lucian words left Magdaran speechless, satisfied Lucian started walking once again.

"Come now it was you who did not want to be late Hmm?"

Lucian asked his regular expressionless tone back, Magdaran now snapping out of his daze.

"Wha uh coming brother!"

Magdaran shouted running after his brother looking at his perfect brother whom all the underworld fears Magdaran made a promise to himself.

'Wheather right or wrong I shall follow you brother that is my only way of repaying you.

Silence.

Silence, filled the room where a pin drop would sound like a battle cry. Sat perched upon his throne lord bael ominously watched gazed at his three sons from above as though mocking their positions when compared to him.

Three brothers stood there some displaying pride whilst some cowered under the intense atmosphere.

"My sons you... disappoint me"

Lord bael spoke a scowl present on his face as his words spit venom at his sons.

"May I ask why father"

Lucian inquired.

"We'll get to it boy!"

He lashed out at his middle son this action causing Lucian to begin bubbling with rage on the inside however his neutral disposition would leave nothing to the imagination.

"Firstly Magdaran the pathetic youngest and plant lover what good have you actually done"

Magdaran faced his father.

"Father the seeds in which were believed to be extinct I have brought over five species of fauna back from extinction"

Magdaran spoke with pride but was met with a growl from his father.

"So you revived some plants huh?, What about helping house bae or have you forgotten about that"

His fathers words silenced Magdaran who was now peeing at the floor his eyes clearly displayed sadness at his fathers antics.

"Sorry father"

Magdaran whispered.

"Now then you two sairaorg Zekram has taken interest in you for some unknown reason however you are still a failure I have nothing more to say to you, bastard"

Lord bael spat at his oldest this action causing sairaorg to also look down dejected.

"And finally the heir and so called perfect devil, Lucian"

Lord bael spoke in a mocking tone angering Lucian greatly.

"What actions of mine have caused you displeasure father"

He spoke his voice displayed no emotion.

"Where is your peerage you've had your pieces for three years now Hmm where are they?"

He questioned causing Lucian to sigh

"I have none father all of whom I have met so far have failed to reach my expectations"

Lucian responded.

"So you have not looked hard enough if you have not even one potential candidate, unlike you rias Gremory is building a sizeable peerage even for her young age where you have stagnated"

Lord bael spoke before surprisingly a chuckle was heard out of the boy enraging his father.

"What is so funny about your failure Lucian because I do not see it!"

Lord bael barked.

"My apologies however your statement was far from correct I stated that I had no pieces however, I never said I didn't have candidates"

Lucian spoke as a smirk encroached upon his icy facade.

"Oh do tell"

Lord bael spoke with interest.

"Haha it would be unwise to spoil the surprise however they have been handpicked by me for years I have ensured their potential they will not disappoint"

Lucian spoke with complete confidence surprising lord bael whom was now more lenient on the boy.

"Very well however I suggest you act quickly there is no telling who may get to them first"

This was met with the same grin upon the boys face.

"I assure you father it shall happen soon"

His answer was met with glee from his father who in truth was exited to see his sons full potential.

"Huh well atleast one of my sons is proactive now regarding the last part of why I called you all her is discussing marriages"

This sentence was met with a collective groan from all present.

"Sairaorg have you found someone yet"

Lord bael inquired.

"Potentially I am rather fond of my queen kuisha abaddon"

Sairaorg answered in a slightly awkward fashion clearly uncomfortable by the situation at hand.

"Very well the abaddon trait is a welcomed one, Magdaran?"

His name causing Magdaran to freeze.

"N...no father"

His answer causing disappointment to form in the face of lord bael.

"Very well we will have to find you one"

His words causing Magdaran to panic.

"Now now father there is no need to rush with Magdaran"

Lucian spoke out.

"And why is that Lucian what reason would I have not to?"

Lord bael asked as Magdaran stared in shock at his older brother.

"I shall marry in his place, afford him a few more years to pick a ideal bride to ensure comparability between the two"

Lucian idea sparked a inner debate within the head of lord bael before he finally agreed.

"Fine then you shall marry on your 18th birthday so long as the woman is approved of course.

Lord bae compromised.

"Thank you father her name is Latia astaroth as I'm sure your wear my friendship with diodora and connections with house astaroth would make this a relatively easy deal to accomplish and it would strengthen bonds between two houses"

Lucian argued causing lord bael to nod his head.

"Latia hmm yes not bad at all Lucian well done. Very well then so long as you follow the agreement Magdaran shall be free from my influence in marriage until he turns 18 yes?

Hearing this Lucian nodded his head in agreement.

"Yes father it is more than fair"

Hearing this a small smile appeared on the head of bael a face.

"Very good now please all leave at once"

And with that all present departed. Once outside the great hall Magdaran complained about Lucian once again taking all his hits as his brother simply laughed at his younger brothers antics the two simply looked inseparable as they held an extremely tight bond.

One figure was left in the dark, his massive frame and intimidating presence was offset by the sadness in his eyes.

"I am happy you care for him Lucian brothers should stick together

Sairaorg said as a tear formed down his cheek.

"Perhaps one day we will all share that same bond"

He said as he walked out the building to where his peerage were waiting as he left to his home.

"Brother I can fend for myself you know"

Magdaran pouted causing the older of the two to burst out laughing.

"Sure magi"

Lucian joked only angering his brother more.

"Stop with that nickname luci"

Magdaran retorted.

"Sorry little brother your to fun to tease sometimes"

Magdaran upon hearing this turned away from Lucian in a fake attempt to stay mad at his brother.

"Whatever I don't care"

Seeing this caused a smile to appear on Lucians face.

"We'll have a good rest of the day Magdaran I shall be... conversing with a acquaintance for a little while"

Hearing this Magdaran sweat dropped.

"Please keep it down this time brother"

This sentence causing Lucian to go wide eyed.

"You can hear us"

Lucian asked already knowing the answer.

"You forget to put a noise cancelling barrier on my room so I've heard you since the beginning"

Lucian know wanting to leave quickly sped up before arriving to his room as he entered he basked in the fine decor of his lavish living space. Quickly, he made his way over to the wine and poured himself a full glass taking the occasional sip out of it as he took a random book from his shelf to indulge in to pass the time.

Lucian sat up right at his ornate wooden desk now doing some paperwork when an all to families sultry voice could be heard.

"I heard you were getting married"

The figure spoke being evidently female with a mature yet youthful sounding voice

"Yes what of it"

Lucian asked not yet sparing a glance at the figure.

"How cruel you would forget all about me hmm why can't I marry you"

The mysterious figure spoke in a teasing yet seductive way causing a sigh to exhale from Lucian.

"That would be impossible considering our positions and races"

He continued in his cold tone until a small smile perched at his lips.

"However it was true when I said you hold a special place in my heart to me you shall always be my bride for i was the first to claim you"

Lucian smirked now turning around to meet the figure shrouded in darkness

"Every inch of you belongs to me as I do to you"

as he said this the figure stepped closer into the light until the face of that of a girl in her teens could be seen.

"Raynare"
