Neji led Kiba through countless obstacles, twists, and turns. Kiba ran after him, panting. The maze was impossible to navigate on his own. Neji led him to yet another empty room. He smirked. "What are you playing at!" screamed Kiba. "She'll never love you. She HATES you." Said Neji. "NO!" screamed Kiba. The scene dissolved slowly…

Kiba woke, sweating and panting. The words bounced all over his mind: "She'll never love you. She HATES you." He held his head in his hands. He had to find her…hurt or no hurt, he HAD to find her…

Kiba pulled on his clothes and ran outside, searching the streets for her. Then he spotted her. "Hinata!" he called. She jumped at hearing her name. "Hi Kiba-kun!" she said. She patted the space next to her, inviting him to sit down. He walked over and sat beside her. "So, what have you been doing out here? Shouldn't you be training or something?" asked Kiba. Hinata blushed slightly. "U-Um…" She put two fingers together like she always did when she was nervous. She couldn't tell him that it was HE that had been on her mind…Kiba noticed her symptoms and said, "Well if you didn't want to tell me you could have just said so….Anyway….There was something I wanted to tell you…" said Kiba slowly. "What is it Kiba-kun?" asked Hinata, interested. "Well, the thing is, I lo—" "Hi guys!" said a certain loudmouth ninja. "Hello Naruto…" said Kiba, anger growing inside of him. "Hey Kiba what's wr—" "AH!" Kiba lost it and started pounding on Naruto's head. "Hey! Stop-ouch-that hurts! OW!" screamed Naruto. He started massaging his head. "Nice seeing you…." He mumbled, and walked off.

"So there was something you wanted to tell me Kiba-kun?" said Hinata. They were now in the park, among the cherry blossom trees. Kiba just looked at her. "Kiba-kun? There was something you wanted to tell me?" Hinata said again. "Kiba-ku—" She was cut off by Kiba, who kissed her. She pulled back after a moment, staring at him questioningly. He took a deep breath. "Hinata, I've never been sure about my feelings for you. But, I've come to realize, Hinata, that….I love you. You see—" Kiba stopped, feeling Hinata press her lips onto his. He kissed her back. After a moment or two they broke apart and Hinata rested her head on Kiba's chest. "Kiba-kun?"
