Demons Breed

Prologue:
"NO!" Professor Xavier, in his new form at the X-mansion, jerked awake from where he was sleeping in a recliner.
"Professor?" Storm questioned, at the old man's side in an instant. Some of the students were looking at him with trepidation. The old man shook his head, levering himself out of the seat. He motioned for Storm and Logan to follow him from the room.
"I need to use Cerebro. Get the jet ready." With those words Xavier walked away from the two X-men leaders. It was a new sensation. After so long without being able to walk he loved moving so quickly. Of course, the situation he found himself in now was exactly what he had been debating with his Ethics class before Jean had killed Scott.
It took him less than a minute, once he was in Cerebro to find the person who had caused such a disturbance in his sleep. Apparently another mutant had just found out that the Cure was not as permanent as it was said to be. Such a strong telepath… Xavier wondered how he had never noticed it before. But the presence seemed strong, a class four he thought, it seemed as if she'd had some training.
"Storm, I'm uploading your destination to the Jet's computers. Be careful. She might not want to go…"
"Or?" Storm questioned as Xavier trailed off. Almost as if there was an alternative that he didn't want to voice in case it became true.
"Or you could encounter aggression from non-mutant parties. Just be careful."
"Okay Professor." Storm cut out the communications, not that they had really needed them, and started to lift off from the ground. The basketball court retracted and they were gone.
"Where we goin'?" Logan asked nonchalantly. He was acting like Wolverine through and through. He didn't care where they were going, it was an excuse to get away from the kiddies at the Mansion. Not that he hated them nearly as much as he tried to pretend he did.
"North Dakota." They were silent for the rest of the trip. They passed invisibly over the small town that was their destination. Walking into town they started asking questions. Judging by the increase of participation at the mansion and the amount of parents that were still in contact with their mutant children, they had decided to talk openly.
A/N: Just a short little prologue so that you, you wonderful reader/reviewer you, could read over it . Let me know what you think. I'll have the next chapter up either tomorrow or the day after. I could even have it up today if I ignore my math teacher. I'm such a bad college student, LoL. Enjoy!
