Walking Dead Wizard
Chapter 101
"Ezekiel," Harry said in a warm welcome, smiling at the man, whom he felt a lot more tolerant towards since he'd stopped the whole roleplay renaissance fair man. Talking to him man to man you could see he was a good and fair person. One that he was surprised this apocalypse hadn't chewed up and spat out. He had remained such a good man that Harry felt the need to do whatever he could to let him keep that kind-heartedness even if it had no place here in this new world that they'd created for themselves. Its why he didn't have a chance against the Saviors.
"Harry!" he boomed, "So good to see you!" he called from across the clearing, already making his way towards the group from P.A. "To see all of you!" a joyful look on his face, and his shoulders unburdened, as the news of Negan's demise made him relax.
"Good to be back, now…have you decided on which direction you want your only opening available?" Harry asked, getting right down to business, they could talk while he worked.
"I was thinking here," Ezekiel pointed towards the closest guard, "It offers more shelter, and will keep them safe." He wasn't exactly sure what Harry was planning to do, but with magic…his imagination was going all over the place. He was excited to see what was going to happen though, magic actually existed. It had existed before all this, it was amazing.
"You're right, probably best," Merle nodded in agreement, eyeing the area, "The wall will be all the way 'round, about ten feet high." Harry nodded his agreement, yes, it would be that high, and smooth too so it wouldn't be easily climbed over, not that they had to really worry.
"Here, put these where there's guards going to be stationed, and maybe one in the middle?" Luna handed over the large white globes.
Ezekiel accepted them in silent confusion, "What is it they do?"
"They're flash white, blue and red, and well…the sound will be enough to wake the dead," Luna imparted her wisdom. "If anyone comes near the edge of your wards, and by that I actually mean someone, a live breathing person…if it's people the sound will be more urgent and the lights will flash furiously."
"They'll flash grey every time a walker breaches the perimeter, best getting them taken care off quickly if that happens. No noise though, so you'll be fine." Maggie chimed in, Luna had been working her ass off to make sure they work, and work for good not just once. They'd been helping her test it all out, it had been fun.
"What if a group comes by?" one of the women from Ezekiel's group questioned curiously, in an atrocious outfit that was drenched in sweat, she had a dagger sheathed to her and makeshift gloves on, it would seem Ezekiel was paying attention and training the women as well now. Good, it meant they'd actually survive if anything happened here. With Harry's spells though, it was very unlikely to happen any time soon.
"A Frantic grey flashing," Maggie explained, "We didn't want to use noise since it doesn't deter them, humans though…would more than likely scarper after being loud booming noises after they do something they shouldn't. If not…well you have plenty of warning that someone is coming."
"That's awesome," she said in admiration, picking one up to admire it. "Maybe in the middle of the training ground, the wooden gazebo?" she suggested, pointing towards where their announcements – by Ezekiel or on his orders – were usually spoken from. Although, lately it had been Ezekiel himself doing it.
"That's perfect," Luna agreed.
"Might be difficult to spot it flashing during the day!"
"Trust me, it won't be," Maggie said smiling, recalling thinking the same thing herself, before Luna had fixed it. wandering away with the woman to affix the globe – which stuck exactly where she put it! Even when one of the kids tried to take it down not knowing better – to the middle beam where it could clearly be seen from all angles on this side.
"Can you do magic too?"
Maggie startled at that, "Um, no, you're either born with magic or you're not, normally in a family with magical parents but not always. My fiancé is from a magical family but doesn't have magic himself." It was in the genes though, which meant her child might actually be magical. It was enough to blow her mind, but it made her less reluctant to have a child when the time was right. It meant her child, no, their child might have magic, might be able to protect themselves better.
"I guess it made this easier," she murmured pensively, it certainly had made their lives easier.
"Oh, no, we only found out about a year ago, maybe?" Maggie said thoughtfully, trying to recall how much time had gone by since the prison. The best gauges they had was how old Judith was, the girl was born the day they left the prison for P.A and she had passed her first birthday, it had made her longing for a child more prevalent but she and Glen had agreed the world was much too screwed up to have a child. Although, it had changed drastically a few months after settling into P.A, they'd stopped being quite so careful – it wasn't as if they had condoms or pills they could take – although Mira had potions that she was pouring into those baking dot trays to make them in pill shape – tablets so that no accidents occurred. Even they weren't fool proof, they had more chance on working on those without magic.
"It's two," Luna threw back they'd been in P.A for two whole years. Judith was a little young to be in the 'nursery' but considering they didn't have a lot of kids, Lori let her go along. Andre was already at school age and was learning. Patrick had been learning before…before he'd been taken from them by the Saviors. It's where Patrick had been most comfortable before his passing. If anything, he hated going outside, all they could be thankful for was that he hadn't known he was dying, it had been a very quick sudden painless death. It was the only upside to this entire mess, and that Negan was dealt with.
"It certainly doesn't feel that way," Maggie admitted, recalling vividly how relieved she was when she and her family – and the others – were saved that day from Rick's folly. He wasn't entirely to blame, after all they'd all had their reservations and continued on anyway. They were adults, Rick hadn't forced them to go along with it. Then experiencing that first warm meal in so long at the prison then the chaos that followed. All of it worth it at the end of the day for the safety they now got to experience daily. "How do you keep up with the dates?" she tried so hard, but it was impossible.
"Good point," the woman – still unidentified – from Ezekiel's group said, cocking her head to the side.
Luna flicked her wand and the date flashed in dark red, also the time for a few moments before the chunky letters disappeared entirely.
"My god…the last time I remember marking a calendar…" she thought back, really struggling to remember. In the beginning she'd done everything she could to mark the dates, remember when things had been normal. Over time she just forgot, missed days before giving up entirely. Then she joined here, nobody could say they knew the date, even the time sometimes. Mostly everyone's watch had gone out of battery.
"2010," Luna said with a sigh, "It started in 2010,"
"That's right, I'd just packed away the Christmas things properly, after leaving them in the cupboard instead of the garage for months." She recalled, breath hitching as she recalled details of her life before this outbreak. She missed her house, missed her family, she and her husband had been divorced, it had been her husband's weekend when everything went to hell. She had no idea if he and her children were alright. She had resigned herself to never finding out. "Nearly four years since the initial outbreak." A shudder wracking her lithe frame. Her husband's new place had been rather secluded, so he was hopeful they had survived.
"Holy shit!" she gaped, watching as out of nowhere a massive nine-foot wall began to erect itself around the perimeter. "Holy crap!" she said again wide eyed. It was like watching a scene out of a movie, as brick by brick fast paced itself into a wall, out of absolutely nothing.
And on and on it went, right before her eyes, until she couldn't see it happening anymore. She could still feel it, still hear it happening further and further down along with faint exclamations in the distance. As everyone reacted with shocked surprise at a wall appearing out of nowhere to keep them safe from any and all forces wishing them harm.
"This will keep critters from getting into your vegetable gardens," Luna passed on the runes, clearly labelled and with a what-to-do written clearly on each one. "This will clean up the water you have make it drinkable no matter where it comes from." She said handing over another, "This is a preservation rune, put it in a cupboard and the food you want preserved and preserve it indefinitely."
"How far is it going?" the woman asked, as she approached, pressing her hand against the newly erected wall in amazement. Seeing the look on their faces she was quick to say, "My apologies my name is Vera Locke." She said putting her hand out and he only nodded, busy with his wand, and the other guy deliberately looked away shifting uncomfortably. Vera had to stop herself laughing at the sight, a big strong guy like him all shy? She sobered almost immediately though; her husband had been the same. She'd been the outgoing one of them both.
"It's going to go all the way around the only opening you'll be able to get out of is here," Harry explained gesturing towards the top, his magic never pausing. "It's going to be an added measure of security for your piece of minds." He would add the warding hubs afterwards, but this…this was a physical representation of the safety he was offering. P.A had the exact same protections on it, but it was significantly more proportionate, seven or eight times the size of the one he was currently making at the moment. P.A wasn't a small place, it was a town for Merlin's sake, and could easily fit thousands of people comfortably within.
"What did you do for the first two years? I've been told you've only been at P.A for two years now?" Vera asked, it was so freeing being able to discuss something with someone. Every day was the same banal day, in and out. Then along came Harry and his group, shaking absolutely everything up. She no longer just had to do washing, drying, cleaning, instead she was being taught how to fight properly – not having to try herself in the dead of the night – both in hand to hand combat and with weaponry. And now getting to talk to different people. Yes, it was nice.
"Like everyone else, trying to survive, I know it might seem like it but magic isn't a know all cure all," Harry told her, as the wall began to make a reappearance at the other side, plodding away at what it had been magically compelled to do. "In fact, it's been my experience most people take in a bad way, magic to some isn't natural." And they still did, he thought back on those who had taken it badly at Hilltop.
Vera nodded, as if she understood, but she couldn't comprehend anyone taking it badly. It was going to make their lives so much easier, so naturally she welcomed it eagerly. Her eyes zoning in on the wall again, watching it take shape until there was a single opening, then Harry's hands lowered, and everything stopped.
The blonde-haired girl she'd spoken to earlier – Luna she thought her name was – had a piece of metal in her hand before she propped it on the floor and murmured a few words. She wasn't close enough to hear it, before a gate appeared out of nowhere and was steadily affixed to the wall. Mouth opened in awe, she was mesmerised she truly was, she thanked goodness for bringing these people into her life.
"Wow," was all she could get out, eyes wide.
Harry chuckled softly, "You'll get used to it," patting her on the shoulder before he left, with his perpetual shadow following behind protectively. Vera wondered if the guy thought Harry was going to be hurt here and if that was why he was so protective?
"I don't think so," Vera murmured to herself, shaking off her shock, as she glanced down at herself with a grimace. She needed to shower, badly, the sweat had dried in unpleasantly, but she hadn't wanted to miss this at all and was glad she hadn't.
"Has Luna given you everything you'll need? Do you want help setting it up?" Harry asked approaching Ezekiel.
Vera followed behind; Ezekiel had changed drastically in the past few weeks. It was…nice, she liked him better. He was definitely someone more approachable than elusive these days. She'd ensured his eccentricity. It was worth it to be here, to be safe, even if they didn't get as much to eat for a while. Something they'd all learned was to do with Negan wanting half their supplies. Something else that had changed recently, they were kept in the loop. In fact, there had been a massive feast when Negan died.
"Well, the instructions are very clear…" Ezekiel said, staring at the packages. "…they'll really do what is described?" they had lost a lot of their crops due to pests and such. It would be nice to know that this could protect them.
"Oh, yes, they will," Luna was the one who replied.
"Hot showers?" the hope in Ezekiel's voice certainly caught Vera's attention.
"How showers?" She squeaked in reply.
Luna smothered her amusement, remembering her first hot shower which hadn't been as long as she wished it could have been. They couldn't use too much, but at least that wasn't required at P.A the solar panels saw to that. Not everywhere had them, so they were naturally enduring cold-water showers or worse…bathing in the river or streams which were naturally very, very cold and not all that sanitary but it was the only way to clean.
A very familiar smell drifted up her nose, causing Vera to turn to find the source, "You've got smokes! It's been years…I don't suppose there's anything I can trade you for one?" she asked Daryl getting very close to his personal space despite his shying away. Inhaling the smoke, oh, it was probably a very, very bad idea, but she couldn't help herself. A possible smoke and a hot shower? Was she in paradise? How the hell were they still getting them four years later?
Daryl stepped back again, grumbling incompressible, before handing a single one over. Then the lighter which he waited to get back. It had been a gift from Harry, a zippo he'd found and had scribed his name into it. Along with a miniature crossbow just like his.
"Thank you," Vera said with glee, before quieting down and actually smoking it, she wasn't going to waste it.
"Are you in short supply of anything in particular?" Harry asked, "Luna will go with you and show you how the rune stones work."
"The usual, sanitary supplies, toothpaste, soap, things we can't really make." Ezekiel replied immediately, they even had the ability to make pasta, although they were running low on pasta. "We don't have much in the way of meat, but we're going to go out and see if we can find anything." A mixed group for once, not just the men. And by we, he truly meant we, he was going with them. His days of sitting on the side-lines were gone.
"Alright, Luna will return with some supplies later today," Harry nodded briefly, toothpaste and soap they could hand over. It was handmade, Mira worked hard and diligently so they didn't have to use Harry's supplies so they could be comfortable without relying on magic. "If there's anything else you can think of call or text, we'll do what we can to help."
"And what can we give you in turn?" Ezekiel questioned, looking a little lost, they honestly didn't look like or talk like they needed anything. It felt wrong after all this time trading. Money wasn't the currency of the world anymore; it was trading simply put.
"There's nothing we need or want," Harry admitted, knowing that Ezekiel would feel better if they did trade. "Metal and wood scraps, we use them to transfigure items we need, gemstones at least that size, so we can create runes." Gesturing to the ones in his hand, "They don't have to be diamonds all gems will do even quartz." You can't ever have too much stuff he supposed, so if this made them feel better, he'd do it.
Ezekiel relaxed immediately, "Consider it done," they didn't have a whole lot, gems weren't something they wore or needed. So, they were left in the properties and food, medicine, and clothing/bedding was taken even books over gems, money or useless trinkets. They were going out to hunt, a few of them could branch off and get the gems while they worked diligently to bring back meat. "When will you return?" hopefully he would be giving them enough time to get everything they needed to trade.
"This evening?" Harry suggested looking between Ezekiel and Luna to ensure they were fine with that arrangement.
Luna nodded, it meant she'd be able to go and see Charlie and the others at Potter Abbey. "That's fine." She agreed, "Let me show you how this all works," Luna said, linking arms with Ezekiel they moved towards the main building, she'd show him once, the rest he could do on his own, there were enough runes to do everyone, if not…well, he could ask for more, she had it down to an art, and could get dozens done within half an hour.
"Well, that's everyone secured, they'll be as safe as we can make them," Harry replied, short of them coming into contact with wizards who could rip down all the wards. Not that it would be likely, they'd be more liable to decide to join them, at least until they learned that there were no wizards or witches here. If there had been…they would have been more than likely to have come forward after the revelation.
"Four safe heavens, humanity might just survive this yet," Daryl murmured, for a while it felt like they were the only ones.
"Five, don't forget about Hogwarts, and really, the other schools," Harry reminded him, just because they were wizards and witches didn't make them any different. Not that he thought Daryl would think that. "This is good, if we can continue to pull together…trade, it will be…the beginning. A new beginning." One where magic and humanity co-existed to survive, to thrive.
No more hiding, no more hatred, this wasn't just humanities second chance but a chance for the magical world to showcase it wasn't bad, wrong or evil.
Don't get him wrong, he hadn't wished this on anyone but…it had happened and there was nothing to be done about it. All that could be done was make the best of it, for all concerned. Magical and Muggle.
"How many does that make?" Daryl frowned, "How many of the schools survived?" he knew Hermione had seven mirrors, but from what he gathered it was people who had it, not entire communities.
"Hermione says they've been in touch with three or four I think, including Hogwarts," Harry frowned, trying to recall what she said. Things changed every time they spoke, so it was hardly surprising that he wasn't sure what was what when it came to the other schools. The only one he knew was thriving for sure was Ilvermorny since Glen spent hours talking to his family. Normally Harry gave him as much privacy as he could, but the mirror was in his living room, there was only so much he could do. "She's getting cupboards set up to send out, as far as I know so they can get in touch with Hogwarts properly." Whether they'd get there or not remains to be seen, it wasn't the first-time owls had gone missing. It was a perilous journey and there were those hungry enough to even eat an owl.
Daryl nodded, so four magical schools, the P.A and Potter Abbey as well as Hilltop and The Kingdom. Eight communities, and theirs was by far the smallest group of people, but with the biggest place to call their own.
Its not bad considering it was just them for the longest time.
"Okay, that's it all set, we can head back now," Luna said, making her return, Ezekiel following her.
"Thank you, for your aid," Ezekiel said sincerely.
"You're more than welcome, take care and be careful," Harry said, shaking hands with the leader of the Kingdom. "Remember to phone if you need anything." Chances were, Ezekiel probably wouldn't see him again for a good long while. He would need to stop using much for a bit.
"I will. Goodbye for now." Ezekiel lowered his hand, giving a nod, already feeling more secure here than he had in a good long while, including knowing that Negan was dead. It was time for them to head out, hopefully they'd be back in time for when they returned.
The small group of three, Daryl, Harry and Luna, apparated away, Luna taking Daryl to lessen the strain Harry was under.
The likelihood of Harry experiencing magical drain was laughable admittedly.
Still, never hurt to be cautious.
"Luna, do me a favour? Can you get Charlie's mirror from Hermione? I need to write down everything he'll need. I don't want to have to go traipsing through my trunk twice." Harry asked, "I'll be at home." He needed to pee.
"Sure, I'll bring it over," Luna agreed, "But I thought you'd be using Mira's supplies for them?" surprisingly due to Mira's work they weren't having to use much in the way of toiletries and soaps from his trunk.
"I'm taking a bit of both, so that they can choose," Harry shrugged, "Mostly for the kids,"
"Oh, well, okay then, I'll be back in a bit!" Luna agreed, "Let Merle know if he's there!" he'd been all so mysterious actually. She was surprised he'd let her go anywhere without him, he was just as possessive as his brother…maybe just a little less so but understandably so, Harry was pregnant.
"I will," Harry agreed, with that he took off home, saying hello to everyone he met, but didn't allow himself to be held up. Thankfully, if they needed anything, they knew to wait until dinner, and didn't feel the need to try to 'catch' him in order to state what they felt they needed to. After dinner time everyone was free to say their piece. If they wanted privacy, all they had to do was ask, and Harry would wait until everyone was away. He was very accommodating, but only at a certain time. As the group got bigger Harry realized he'd need to do something like that and he had.
Harry immediately took off towards the toilet while Daryl dropped his crossbow – delicately mind – and sat himself down, picking up the book on male pregnancies. He was only a few chapters in, not having as much time as he wished to read it but he had time. It didn't help that a good few of the words were in Latin when they were explaining something. He was shit at speaking most days without adding in another language.
His brow furrowed when he began to read up about how the baby would be removed. His stomach lurched a little at the thought. A numbing charm was all they could use while they cut open his stomach to reach the sac. The sac then would be cut and the baby removed safely, then the sac would be cut from Harry's body and removed. Then they'd need to stitch up the wound before anything could be administered.
A numbing charm did shit all, he should know, he remembered that time he got an arrow in his body, the numbing charm had barely taken the edge of the pain until the potions were administered. The reasoning sounded fake as hell too, potions to take away pain all had muscle relaxant in it. Which couldn't be administered until the baby was safely out. Even women under a C-section were given something to help the pain, this was bullshit.
"How long ago was this book written?" Daryl grumbled in complaint.
Harry laughed, "Bout four or five decades ago," he confessed, "One of the most accurate ones, it's why I gave it to you."
"Ain't there anything they can do for you?" Daryl frowned in displeasure; he didn't like the thought of it at all.
"I assume you're talking about the birth? Then no, it would be ten times more painful afterwards if they gave me anything. Tense muscles help get the baby out easier and without causing harm. To both the baby and the carrier. Our bodies are different to females, it just makes it a bit more complicated that's all." Harry explained. He knew what he was in for.
"Bet most male carriers didn't have more than one," Daryl snorted, the pain was clearly going to be excruciating, how was it that Harry wasn't even the slightest bit afraid?
"Not normally no, but I don't think it's anything to do with pain, it's more along the lines that the body has difficulty making another sac." Harry informed him, the amount of magic it sapped up, the bodies weren't made for it. Technically, they were given the ability, but it was a gift magic itself decided upon.
Daryl grunted before immersing himself back in the book.
"Hey, here's the list, do you want company?" Luna pressed the paper in her hand.
"Yep, quicker we get it done the better," Harry agreed, as he passed, he squeezed Daryl's shoulder as he and Luna moved towards the bedroom and down the trunk ladders. It was like the entirety of a mass superstore times ten the number of things available in there.
"I don't know why, but I'm always surprised there's so much when I come down here…" Luna said looking around, it was like a bigger Room of Requirements. This was just one section, there was a freezer section and just another section that didn't need chilled or frozen. "Maybe it's because everywhere else is so barren sometimes."
"Yeah," Harry murmured looking around, "The baby section really hasn't been touched at all much, I've been down here once, or twice for Lori but that's been it."
"And soon your own child will be using things here," Luna said softly, he was so very lucky.
"Nah, it's going to be ages away yet," Harry said with a little huff of laughter, as he and Luna began packing things away into an enlarged box housing a baby bath, fitted everything they were putting into it. Nappies, bottles, dummies, although not all of the items had the British word on them, but rather had diapers and pacifiers and the American words.
"There really is everything you need here isn't there?" Luna said, eying the gripe water that aided babies in getting rid of the build up of wind.
"I told you, I cleared out every shop I came across, there's even a whole section of jewellery, the jewellery stores were emptied. I mean to have made it a specific Accio would have taken longer so," Harry shrugged, everything it was. "Glad I did, they've more than came in handy." Not just for Glen and Maggie.
"They have," she murmured in agreement, as she hoisted seven baby grows into the box, along with bathing supplies. "Who would have thought it?"
"I'm glad you took Ancient Runes," Harry admitted wryly, placing the last of the baby items into the box. "Okay, that's the baby stuff, it should do them." He mused, "Now to get the rest of the stuff."
Grabbing another box, Harry and Luna absently wandered around, grabbing what they needed. Toothpaste, soap and such that The Kingdom would need. They didn't take too much; Mira's supplies would be added to it giving it more bulk. Talking all the while about everything anything that strikes their fancy. Then of course the portable stoves, kitchenware, wood, coal, chiminea's and food of course.
"Speaking of Merle, where is he?" Harry asked as they made for the stairs again. "I don't think I've seen you both separate this long since the Green's Farm."
"Stop exaggerating!" Luna laughed, as she began to climb the stairs, the boxes levitating behind her. "We didn't even start dating until the tail end of the prison stay."
"Uh-huh, still wouldn't leave your side, together or not," Harry said dryly, joining her once the boxes were a safe distance from him. He wondered if it was just Merle taking his duty seriously, he had asked Merle to keep an eye on her, keep her safe from the others. After all, it couldn't be easy trying to fit in when Luna fundamentally just didn't fit into any category. Luna was Luna, odd to wizards and Mundane alike.
Harry loved her for it regardless.
"He'll tell me when he's ready," Luna commented.
"What does that mean?" Harry asked sighing as his feet touched solid ground again.
"It means he's up to something and until he's done, I won't know," Luna said, smiling wryly, "Being all mysterious, its rather intriguing."
Harry arched a brow, he did not want to know, he thought wryly, shaking his head in amusement.
"Let him know we're leaving for Potter Abbey then, he might want to come," Harry informed her, "I'll leave the stuff you're taking to The Kingdom on the doorstep for later." Nobody would take it so it would be safe. "Meet you back here, I'll get the stuff from Mira and the kitchen."
"Right," Luna nodded her agreement, her stomach rumbling hungrily. "I'm going to make us some sandwiches as well." Since they weren't sticking around for lunch, they'd get something when they returned. The runes they'd crafted on the warm plate worked wonders for those who weren't going to be on time.
"Great!" Harry said cheerfully, only one last thing to do today before he could relax. "You coming to Potter Abbey or staying here?" he asked Daryl as he made his way back through to the living room where Daryl was still immersed in the book.
"Comin'," Daryl replied immediately, half closing the book before Harry spoke.
"I'm going to see Mira first, I'll be about ten, fifteen minutes." Harry was quick to say, Daryl nodded and cracked open the book he hadn't quite shut, and began reading again. Harry smiled at the sight, one day soon Daryl would probably be reading from a set of the books for children he'd just pulled up for one of Charlie's people.
With that Harry and Luna left to do their respective things.
"Hey, Hershel, I assume you've gotten everything set up in the doctor surgery?" noticing the box of items he had in his hands. Tyreese was with him carrying a whole lot more but looking very content.
"This is the last of what we'll possibly need, yes, a long walk to the hospital but worth it," Hershel reassured Harry, who had gone to the hospital and put everything in stasis without touching anything. They'd meant to get everything sorted but it had been continuously put on the backburner. It was already preserved, there was no need to move it.
"Did you use one of the carts at least?" a horse would be no good for trying to gather huge boxes like that.
"We did," Tyreese nodded, like he'd allow Hershel to walk the journey to the hospital, no way, especially considering how long it had taken on the cart. Luckily Hershel seemed to know exactly where everything he wanted was located. It had surprised him that it was neat and tidy until Hershel explained Harry will have cleaned everything, fixed it to right before preserving everything while taking care of all walkers – which he had been doing systematically for months without them doing it – over the course of time.
"Good, I think It will come in handy more than we can fathom in the months that follow," Harry said, "It is a surprise that it's not been required already."
"That we can agree on," Hershel said with a quiet chuckle, "Severus is bringing the potions that might be required later today he said along with some books?"
Harry smiled and nodded, "I'm pleased things are going so smoothly," he replied, "Now I'll leave you to it." he told them giving them a nod before taking off towards Mira's lab intending on getting the last of the things he needed to give to Charlie's people.
At this rate, they would have everything more than sorted before he had to stand down so to speak. The worst of it was still to come, he would need to speak to the survivors of the Saviors, and see what could be done with them. To see whether they could be reintroduced into society, if they could live there peacefully or if it was too late for them all.
For all he knew, the eight communities they had…could turn very easily into nine.
A/n – there we go! I hope you enjoyed the new chapter! So, will the survivors of the Saviors become yet another community or will they all be separated to prevent another attempt at take over? Let them learn to integrate into a society? Will Harry learn there are a few wizards and witches within them? Perhaps underage or without wands? What is Merle up to? R&R please
