Walking Dead Wizard

WARNING – Talk of suicide by Harry and Luna regarding one of the people just want to be safe since everyone seems to give warnings I thought to also.

Chapter 102

"Hey, Mira, am I interrupting you?" noticing the flush on her cheeks, and the greasy hair, all associated with potion brewing. When she answered the door to him.

"No, no, not at all, it's done," Mira claimed, smiling at him, "Is everything okay? Do you need me for something?" the smell of lavender heavy in the air, she'd been using the excess lavender that had been picked to make soap. Opening the front door further, she had the entire property to herself, and had turned it into six potions labs, the only room untouched by potions was her bedroom and the living as well as the bathroom facilities.

"I'm here for some bathing supplies," Harry explained, "For Charlie's group as well as The Kingdom." He told her as he entered the house. "I'm not sure if its sensitive enough for children so I've also collected some from my trunk for them."

"I've been playing around with the idea of using lavender and aloe-vera to make some child friendly bars…" Mira said enthusiastically, as she led him to her cupboard. The rune stones glowing brightly, the preservation charms at work. "I do need some more plastic containers though, something…that will make getting shampoo out easier instead of using vials…or glass bottles." So easy to slip and break, which would cause unnecessary accidents.

"Oh, well, I'll start up some sort of recycling then," Harry said thoughtfully, "That way you'll get what you need." As always, aiming to accommodate anything that would make everyone's life easier.

"I've also made some Arnica salves, with an added kick," Mira explained, "If you want to take that with you?"

"That's wonderful, take some to Hershel and Dale as well," Harry suggested, as he took soap, shampoo, toothpaste and such from the cupboard. "Dale could use it…that's if it works on arthritis?"

"It should, it has anti-inflammatory properties," Mira nodded, mostly though it was for swelling and bruises and minor injuries. It should help ease the pain Dale endured every day. "Unless, he's beginning to need actual medication to help?"

"Hershel would be best to ask," Harry informed her, so far, he'd managed with just herbs and such to ease the pain. On his bad days, he probably took the supply of medication Harry left for him – only a packet of twelve – every month or two. "I hope you're getting out…socialising," he added, seeing how much she actually had in the cupboard.

Mira laughed, "Of course I am, it was so much fun getting to talk to Severus!" she admitted in admiration. "He's helped me a great deal and he doesn't care that I am a squib."

"Nobody here does," Harry stated firmly, nobody ever had given a shit either. "I'm just glad there's someone here good at potions…and who has the time to brew them." He certainly hadn't had the time.

"It's good to be useful…I never thought I'd get to brew again," she admitted, she was so glad her father had passed before all this. Although, she could have used his council and quiet calmness that he always exuded. In the beginning it had been extremely traumatic, she'd been beyond terrified. Luckily, she'd known how to fight, her father had started her early, without magic she needed other ways to defend herself. Which as a result made her very fast and agile but ultimately useless with weapons – or had been – she was proficient now. Harry had made sure everyone received training.

"I know," Harry said quietly, having finished putting the products into two different bags. "I didn't think I'd get to see anyone from home again…" he should have had more faith really; Hermione was so determined when her mind was put to the test. Of course, she'd find a way to reach him with more than just the journal. If they worked together, they could accomplish anything.

Mira just smiled, goodness, when she'd felt that surge of power…of that magic she'd known. She'd known that things would be alright, hope had surged endlessly within her…even if she'd refused to get her hopes up. Wizards didn't care much for squibs in her opinion. She'd never been happier to be proven wrong in her life. She'd known they'd help Andre, children were important to wizards and witches, regardless of whether the toddler had magic or not.

"I best get this off to Luna, thanks Mira!" Harry said, he wondered about putting the mirrors somewhere else…because quite frankly…everyone was using his home as a meeting place to use the mirrors to talk for hours. Normally he wouldn't mind since he was out all the time…but that was going to change.

"No problem, I'll keep trying to make something suitable for babies and children." Mira promised, perhaps Severus would have some suggestions? Although, from what she understood…he'd never been around children under eleven perhaps he had no knowledge of what could help. She'd still ask though; it was always worthwhile asking instead of assuming. "Here, let me get the door!" she said, opening the front door again, it was probably for the best, pregnant people weren't supposed to be around potions or their fumes and despite the fact she hadn't brewed in the last two hours…better safe than sorry.

"It's fine, it's nothing that's urgent, don't stress yourself out over it," Harry said, they'd come up with something. They hadn't let him down yet. "I'll see you at dinner." Shaking off his melancholy he'd felt all those months ago before he'd been surprised by a visit from Hermione here at the P.A.

He made a brisk walk back home, noticing that Luna was already waiting on him. "Hey, here's the stuff The Kingdom." Harry said, handing over the bags, keeping a hold of the stuff for Charlie's group. She put it away into her pack, which was rarely off their backs when they were outside of P.A.

"I've got a few runes I want to try while we're there," Luna said, excitement thrumming through her. Potter Abbey didn't have showers, just claw tubs, old fashioned ones, but luckily some sort of plumbing so water did go directly into the tub. It was just about the only thing that the place had done to it since it was finished. Charlie had been kind enough to show her around.

"Okay, let's go, lets just hope the animals are all situated so we don't end up food," Harry said wryly, as Luna grasped a hold of him and Apparated them both before he could get a chance.

"Well," Harry said looking around, "They definitely did put the animals first." He murmured, watching as everyone worked together to get the every day items into the Abbey now that the animals had all been taken care off and fed. Any animal they didn't intend to eat was crunching on walkers. The animals that would be eaten at some point were getting normal every day food.

"It was a good idea!" came the voice one of Charlie's men. "I mean I wouldn't have thought of it!" not sticking around to see the dragon he'd just fed an entire human carcass to begin to greedily eat.

"I have dragons myself; it was necessary to find something for her and her babies to eat." Harry agreed, "She wasn't in very good shape when we got to her," not his first time seeing a dragon in bad shape, or rescuing one. Although, he hadn't spoken to the one in Gringotts…perhaps because it didn't know any languages just noise and fear? It had been down there since before it was hatched, he reckoned. As good as the goblins were…they wouldn't have been able to easily get a damn fully grown dragon down the vaults.

"How many wizards do you have in your group?" the man asked, eyes wide.

"One wizard two witches, one's underage and has only just received a wand." Harry told him, "They understand and speak parseltongue, I'm a Parselmouth."

"Amazing! What I wouldn't do for a gift like that," he said wistfully, being able to understand Dragons? It would be a dream come true, "I would have written a book for sure. Although, I didn't think Dragons did speak parseltongue, that's a surprise I mean…despite them being reptilian I suppose in a way."

"I didn't either," Harry confessed, "And I've interacted with dragons in the past," slightly surprised that he didn't seem to react the way people used to.

"I wonder why they didn't talk…" he mused, shaking off his thoughts, "Charlie's inside, he's making beds for us…it will be nice not sleeping on a bed roll let me tell you. I'm getting a bit too old to be lying on the ground." He said with a rueful laugh, rubbing at his aching back unconsciously.

"Yeah, thank Merlin for the duplicating charm," Luna said grinning widely, "Come on, let's go," grasping a hold of Harry and leading him towards the Abbey, "Will there even be decent beds in there?"

"I have no idea, it's an old place," Harry said, "Charlie might have brought one with him…or one of the others." Easy enough to duplicate a mattress, but if one was sleeping on a bed roll…it didn't sound likely. He hadn't asked for a bed or mattress either…hmm…he would need to see what they had so he could make them comfortable here. Because it was going to be very draughty, and they couldn't waste wood on all the fires…although considering he had many wizards and witches…heating and warming charms would do the trick.

"Already begun warming the place," Luna commented, the moment they stepped inside. It went from being chilly to warm in a nanosecond. It wasn't by any means boiling or anything of the sort. "They're not wasting any time." Even they hadn't been done within hours.

"They have a lot of magic users to help get settled more swiftly," Harry said, "Dozens as far as I know."

Luna nodded her understanding.

"Been in touch with Susan or any of the others?" Harry questioned, as they made their way through the unfamiliar Abbey in search for Charlie. Wondering how they were doing as well as the Saviors.

"Yes, surprisingly there's a lot of reunions…nobody seems particular unhappy or ready to try and fight to become top dog." Luna explained, "She said it was all very sweet, the 'wives' Negan took on…were already married before the world went to hell, or had serious relationships. Although, one guy came back, I can't recall his name, but one of the wives begged for him to be spared…that he wasn't like the others. They've kept him secluded and put him a room of his own until you get there. He's got food, books and been told what's happened. Blaise said he almost collapsed in relief before bolting away, only to be found hugging one of the women."

"I didn't think about the others that might be out," Harry groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I'll need to go talk to this guy, find out what he knows and whether its safe for him to be kept alive." Hopefully the others know to keep extra vigilance, but considering who they were…they would. Plus, there would be wards all over the place to keep the area safe.

"Looking for Charlie?" a woman with a Romanian accent asked, her wand out casting cleaning spells with a dozen others. When she noticed their heads peeking around the corner. She would have been terrified if Charlie hadn't made it clear they could be 100% emphatically trusted.

"We are, yeah," Luna said with a grin, "It's already looking good! We should pick up carpet samples if we see any." Looking around. "Stretch them out to fit the floor, the marble won't keep anyone warm…" didn't hurt to have an added layer.

"Oh, that's a good idea, I was thinking of using a blanket!" she said enthusiastically. Which wouldn't have been ideal but better than nothing one has to admit. "I'm used to wood under my feet, usually keep my boots on." It would be nice not having to.

"Oh, yeah, we did too," Harry agreed, barely did he ever take his shoes off at the quarry or the prison. Luckily P.A had been fully furnished. "We can just copy a square from one of the unused houses…or find the carpet shop. We've bound to have one…P.A has everything." They'd just never investigated themselves.

"Glenn and Maggie didn't just map the area; they wrote down every shop they passed. Emptied out the spoiled stuff…the good food went into the trunk or the communal dinning hall." Luna shrugged, "You should ask them, they'll know." Everything else was left as is, including the mechanics and other non-food shops.

"We'll pass some through when we get them," Harry reassured them, he doubted anyone had felt the need to empty out a carpet shop.

"Thank you, and he's four doors down last I saw! That way!" she thumbed the direction Charlie was in.

"Thanks," Harry said, and with that Luna and Harry made their way, checking in the doors just in case Charlie had left a room and come back this way. They were in no rush and didn't bother using magic.

"Hey, Charlie," Harry said, from the doorway, watching him duplicate double beds over and over again. They were normal beds, they must have at least got one or two while they were in Romania on the reserve, either that or they'd always been there. They were promptly shrunk down in batches and the guys with him picked them up and made their way out the room, it was a process that looked repeated.

"Stick families together…and if friends want to room together let them," Charlie called after them, after sharing all this time it would be weird not doing so. Luckily, he'd been used to it himself, first sharing with his brothers…then of course, the cabins with the other dragon handlers. Just ended up sharing with a whole lot more people they'd managed to rescue.

"Got it!"

"Thanks, Harry, I…honestly don't know what we would have done without your quick thinking." Charlie sighed, rubbing the back of his neck.

"You would have all ended up at Hogwarts," Harry said assuring him that they would have thought of something. "It's fine, you've done really well, you got anyone that's magical that hasn't had a magical education?"

"There's a few untrained adult wizards and witches, yeah," Charlie admitted, "We trained them as much as we could, mostly just spells they'd need to survive."

"We have an untrained underage witch at P.A…"

"P.A?" asked one of Charlie's men, staring blankly.

"Pandora's Apscondo," Harry said with a soft smile.

Charlie glanced at Luna with a small pained smile again, having done the same thing yesterday. He remembered Pandora, such a sweet loving woman. She'd give him and Bill lunch if they even so much as passed the Lovegood abode. Which they did often, her food had been to die for…plus, it was better than listening to their mum. They loved Molly, don't get them wrong, but she was so demanding and loud. It was nice to have calm and quietness and Pandora was the epitome of that. "She was a wonderful woman," when it became clear the guy wasn't going to say anything realizing he'd stepped on a landmine. Or thought he had at any rate.

Luna smiled sweetly, "Yes, she was," it was nice to hear someone complimenting her.

"We're going to discuss letting her go to Hogwarts now that she has a wand…I know she's a bit young but we considered doing it part time. Three times out of the week learning normal education and half learning to harness her magic."

"Well, the guys would love to learn English, not just how to speak but write as well, they've been learning so far but between every chore there hasn't been much free time…" Charlie agreed, fully understanding the need for both Mundane and Magical education.

"I agree, but I do want my child to learn both…" the pregnant woman from earlier making an appearance.

"It's natural," Harry said smiling, "Congratulations,"

Giving him a funny look, "Sarcasm?" unable to tell.

Harry's eyes widened, "Oh, no, no I was genuine,"

"Ah, you don't think ending up pregnant during an apocalypse is stupid?" she asked them wryly.

"In the beginning I would have, but we're pretty much settled into the new normal now," Harry said, "Plus, I would be a hypocrite if I did."

"You're preg…" Charlie trailed off wide eyed. "Man…mum would have been over the moon…and the celebration…massive."

Harry swallowed, "Yeah," vividly recalling what he'd done to Ron during the early days… "I'm sorry I couldn't save them."

"Don't be, when this started, we didn't know anything…I knew Ron was bitten, mum wrote to all of us. She didn't know what it would happen though." Even if she did, he reckoned his mum wouldn't have been able to do what was needed to save her own life. She loved all of them wholly and completely…regardless of how smothering she was. He still had that letter, and still read it often, it was crumbled beyond repair from repeated reading but just seeing the I love you and miss you written on the paperwork.

"Speaking of pregnancies, here, this is everything I think you'll need, if you need more just let Charlie know so he can inform me. There's even gripe water in there, best keep the food, medicine and stuff preserved." Harry told her, "Luna has preservation runes if need be for the cupboards and stuff."

"I'll need to make them though; I only have one rune with me...I'm hoping to test it…where's the nearest bathroom?"

"Through there," Charlie pointed to the ensuite of where they were standing, in what was obviously the master bedroom. It was the ground floor and where the Master Bedroom often was put. Watching Luna disappear, he turned and asked, "What is she up to?" his face alight with curiosity.

"Testing to see if the Rune will give you warm water in a bath tub, she's tested it works in showers but with such basic plumbing she's worried it won't work…plus, in old buildings like these the bathtubs are normally copper…" and metal wasn't easily worked with when it comes to runes.

He'd barely stopped talking when the water started up, sputtering for a few minutes, "Oh, that's just gross!" Luna exclaimed, "Well that just won't work…"

"Keep at it, it'll clear in a few seconds!" Harry called out to her.

"Oh, yeah, so it is!" Luna called out, "It's working! The water is warm!" smug satisfaction coating her voice. "The rune is attached to the hot water tap, and it gets really hot quickly so remember that."

"Thanks for coming by…any more of those runes?" Charlie asked, already trying to get everyone out of the room.

Harry and Luna burst out laughing, as Charlie urged them from the bedroom.

"Don't laugh, keep going!" Charlie whined, grinning ruefully, positively vibrating with excitement. "I've not had a bath since all this started…and don't get me started on washing in a pail, rivers or cleaning charms."

"Here, permanent sticking charms," Luna said, "On the hot water tap." Handing over the gemstones turned runes. "Underneath would be best."

"There's only enough for ten baths," Luna admitted, "I wasn't sure they'd work and I only had enough time to make that many." Now she knew they worked she'd be making a lot more, not just for this place but The Kingdom and probably the Savior group too.

"And there's probably about a hundred baths in this place," Harry said. "The portable gas stoves are inside along with some food for you. Pasta, pasta sauces, tins of beans, spaghetti, warm fresh bread, herbs, mince, bolognaise sauce fruit and veg as well as rice and custard and stuff for the kids. Ready to make stew, Stovies and soup with fresh picked vegetables. Carol was kind enough to make everything up since she knew you'd all be busy with the change of location."

Everyone in hearing vicinity was drooling, a proper hot homemade meal…sounded like heaven.

Charlie abruptly hugged both of them, "Thank you," he murmured it didn't feel heavy, but he knew that it had been made lightweight.

"You're welcome, man, we'll see you all later, remember send her through the second she goes into labour. Hershel and Severus will be there for her." Harry squeezed his shoulder before they all parted.

"I'll tell her," Charlie agreed, she was already gone with the baby stuff, a few minutes ago.

"You going straight to the Savior compound?" Luna asked, giving Harry a knowing look. "Take Daryl with you. If he finds out you've gone on your own, he'll be seething quietly pissed."

Harry laughed, "Don't I know it," he had become even more protective than normal. "I think the others will be glad to leave the area behind." It was bloody bleak in that compound.

Luna nodded her agreement, "I'll come with you both, I'll be back within a few minutes, I just want to drop this all off." Then she was going to see what her boyfriend was up to.

"We'll wait at the gates," Harry commented, and apparated away, Luna left a second after, making for The Kingdom to drop of the stuff they desperately needed.

True to Luna's word, she dropped off everything The Kingdom would need, before Apparating directly back to P.A a clutch purse in hand. She found Harry and Daryl leaning against the original Fort Benning sign at the front of P.A. Both arched a curious brow at the small bag in her hand.

"Gemstones, the news of the runes has gotten around…how long were we gone?" Luna said amused, as she opened it and showed it to them. It was full of different kinds of gems. "Ezekiel and the group he took out are still gone so this must be from the stuff the group had lying around…" she was pleased to note that the gems were all decent sized so she could etch the runes onto them.

Daryl snorted, "Course it did," imagining their reaction to warm showers and shit, he recalled his own. Fuck he wasn't as used to fancy amenities like everyone was, but even he'd liked warm water. Washing in the pond at the quarry had been bloody disgusting especially knowing that it was stagnant. It wasn't a river the shit off everyone's clothes and bodies didn't get washed down, it just stays there.

"Ready to go?" Harry questioned, time to bring the others home and let the Saviors figure it out themselves.

"Yeah, let's," Luna said, stashing the bag away, and grasping a hold of Daryl and Harry, and apparating both of them.

The first thing they saw was Blaise, whom they nodded to.

"Where's the prisoner?"

"Dwight is in one of the cells," Blaise informed them, "He seems alright," aware that the group had been brainwashed.

"You read him?" Harry questioned, following Blaise.

"Nah, nothing like that," Blaise admitted, it had been hard enough to stare at his face seeing the state it was in. "You don't happen to have any burn paste, do you?" they hadn't thought of bringing any sort of potions with them…not with Hogwarts being so close anyway, just a step through a cupboard away.

"Burn paste? Was someone hurt?" Luna asked alarmed.

"Yeah, but not recently, they're all scared up, would it even work?" Blaise mused. He knew his potions, but not the medical side to them.

"Good point, I think you'd need to ask Severus, but I think you'd need two potions, the burn paste and scar reducer…might not fade entirely." Harry shrugged, "I've never seen it used after the fact, Cedric…Cedric was the only one I know it was used on…"

"Dittany will definitely help, maybe mix it in with the burn paste they don't react badly together." Luna suggested, "They're lucky it didn't get infected." Which was the case with burns especially bad ones.

"I've cleared out quite a few potion shops, I probably have both," Harry informed Blaise, he'd never bothered having a run down of every single item he had in his trunk, it would take weeks to get them all written down even with magic to help. With a lot of the books taken out, it freed up more room for other things. "That's if they want help." Thinking back on those from Hilltop who had refused his aid because they believed he was a freak and magic evil.

The end of the world and they didn't take the easy way out, bloody idiots. They were probably already dead by now. With all the food and weapons gone, they'd never scavenged a day in their lives…yeah, they didn't stand a hope in hell.

"Why wouldn't he?" Blaise asked, blankly, it was better than having that massive burnt up flesh staring you in the face every day.

"Muggles don't accept magic easily," Harry said patting Blaise' shoulder in sympathy. "Or should I say some don't…the belief that magic is evil, dark magic, sacrificing babies and that magic practitioners should be poisoned or drowned is prevalent."

Blaise snorted, "What a lot of nonsense." Rolling his eyes heavenward, "Honestly, Muggles!"

Daryl cleared his throat, staring at Blaise ready to pound on the wizard.

"Some Muggles!" Blaise corrected him, eyeing the man, in a fist tight he'd probably be squashed and if he tried to use magic, he knew he'd get his ass handed to him in way of Harry. He knew better – thanks to Draco – never to mess with Harry's friends…he didn't want to imagine what he'd do to him for saying anything about his partner.

Daryl smirked at Blaise as if suspecting he knew his thoughts and found them wholly amusing.

Luna just giggled behind her hand as they moved through the bleak place.

"How are they really doing?" Harry asked Blaise, "I know you'll have been Eavesdropping on them…you and any of the other Slytherins." They weren't about to not use everything in their power to gauge the opposition.

"They were terrified of Negan, of a Muggle," Blaise shook his head, stomach churning over what he'd heard though. "The way he treated them and the way he had everyone under his thumb it's hardly any wonder. He was a sick bastard, not even Voldemort did shit like that in his day." Naturally comparing any evil person to the only Dark Lord he knew.

Harry sombrely nodded his head, he knew, he'd had the unfortunate task of shifting through their memories. "This Dwight might have to be dealt with the same way…if he's anything like the others."

Blaise had heard how Harry dealt with the Saviors, snapped their necks, "You gave them a quick death they didn't deserve all things considering."

"To condemn them to worse…would make me just like them." Harry sighed, "I never wanted to kill to survive, Blaise." Huffing out a sardonic laugh, "I didn't even really have to kill Voldemort, I mean two backfiring curses doesn't make me directly responsible for his death." He had only taken care of a few of the Horcruxes…everyone else had chipped in too. Blaise had been neutral, so it wasn't too difficult to strike up a conversation about the war and Voldemort.

"I know," Blaise said wryly, he unlike the others had never been awed by Harry's accomplishments nor did he dislike him for it like most of Slytherin.

"In there," Blaise said, "I made a bed, expanded the room, they were tiny."

"Yes…" Harry agreed, this isolation, and constant music had broken them in a way the apocalypse could not. Stripped them of their identity and turned them into shells of the person they used to be…but too dangerous for Harry to let loose on what was left of humanity.

"Good morning," Harry said, staring straight ahead at the man, barely blinking at the sight of the scar that ran across his entire face. It looked painful, but had healed somewhat, as best as it could without medical care at any rate. "Who are you?"

"Dwight," he bit out, watching Harry as if he was a snake ready to strike, wary and watchful.

"Look at me," Harry barked out, and blue eyes looked at him, ultimately brave. The Muggle acted as if in a trace while Harry read through years of thoughts, memories, and ultimately gauged him, acting as judge, jury and executioner. "Well, he's…interesting."

"What the fuck…" Dwight shook his head, the connection between their minds breaking…but he'd felt something.

"Interesting how?" Daryl asked, hand precariously close to his knife, ready to lash out if need be. Which made the guy tense and become even more defensive as a result.

Harry stood, "He was high up in the Saviors…he was never really brainwashed…he's brave but cowardly, very intelligent…hard worker. He's also a liar and very manipulative but loyal to his wife and Sister-In-Law…he'll do whatever it takes to survive…for his wife to survive…he's killed, hurt, maimed people for a purpose other than saving his own skin…" clearly stuck between the desire to see what would come of him with safety or kill him before he becomes a problem. The rest of the others had killed just because they could.

Dwight stiffened at how well this stranger was so abruptly able to get his character down. Not even Negan had suspected for a second that he wasn't entirely brainwashed. Nobody realized how hard he'd worked to ensure it, so much so that he'd allowed the bastard to sleep with his wife thinking of only the long-term goal. His heart pounding dangerously as he realized the precarious position, he was in.

"Wouldn't you have done the exact same thing if you were in my position?" Dwight asked, heart pounding erratically.

"Yes," came the matter-of-fact replies from the four strangers, without a hint of regret. "Yeah, we would have…especially if we had something worth living for." that made someone actually all the more dangerous.

"He was high up in the Saviors and if he wasn't as bad to the people here…maybe he could lead them?" Luna suggested, "What did you see? How was he with the people around here?"

"No, he cannot stay here it would be detrimental to their mental wellbeing." Harry said vehemently. "They're terrified of him, just like they were terrified of everyone else…"

"You're going to let me live?" Dwight asked, a catch in his throat, which garnered smirks from the four.

"None of the other communities will take him," Harry sighed, rubbing his head, it didn't sit right letting him just leave either. "They've all lost people to the Saviors and quite frankly they'd prove to be unkind and I'd fully understand that. Including a community, I knew nothing about…the Oceanside people. The Saviors killed all their men, husbands, boyfriends...even the boy children."

The sick look on their faces was repeated in Dwight, he was just as sick and disgusted but no way surprised. Negan used children to threaten his own people…never mind the kids in other communities…nobody had been safe.

"Those poor people," Luna said, sympathy thrumming through her. Merlin, she hoped they were alright. Most of the women would have probably branded together, most people still thought woman needed men for protection…but they didn't.

"We'll leave," Dwight said, almost desperate at this point. "Go somewhere else."

"And what will you do to feed and protect your wife and her sister?" Harry asked, "There are very will places left to scavenge from." He'd mostly scavenged from malls, where there were too many walkers for humans to get through. He'd used magic, just as he had used magic to summon everything the day, he got Merle off that rooftop.

"We'll find a way to start over," Dwight said, eyes shadowed with worries doubts and fears. Oh, he knew it wasn't going to be easy to start all over again, but it was better than the alternative. Continuing on with the Saviors until he died – murdered by Negan more like – unable to rescue his wife and sister-in-law.

"You got a phone in your pack?" Harry asked, pinching the bridge of his nose.

Luna immediately slung her bag pack over and began to root around in it. "Here, I've only programmed one into it." which was a good thing, otherwise she would need to delete the others…nobody would want to talk to Dwight from the other communities.

"You've got ten minutes to leave before I change my mind. If I even hear a whisper of you pulling any shit…killing for any reason other than to survive…I'll come for you and I'll kill you." Harry told Dwight who straightened up and would have seemed unafraid if Harry wasn't able to "This phone will always work, if you find somewhere you want to settle down, I'll make sure it's secure. If you find yourself in trouble…or without food…let me know." He couldn't believe he was giving this guy a pass. Unfortunately, he got it, as Dwight so bluntly put it, they would have done the same thing. He would keep his promise though.

Dwight fumbled with the phone, giving Harry a look that suggested he was evaluating his sanity.

With a flick of motion from Harry's hand, the corridor lit up with hundreds of little glowing balls, all in various colours. "We've got something that will remove those burn marks if you want it." Luna informed Dwight as they all began moving, Daryl walking backwards to make sure Dwight didn't try anything not trusting him the slightest.

"Blaise, let him gather enough supplies for a week, and find his wife and her sister," Harry commented, "I want everyone gathered in the same place as before…it's time I talk to them and find out what I can."

It took twenty minutes to get everyone gathered together – it was a massive, massive group – during that time Dwight had made a hasty retreat with his allotted loot along with his wife and her sister. A fresh start was probably what he needed. Luna had given Sherry – Dwight's wife – the potions that would get rid of the scars as well as a few other items, including arnica salve quickly explaining what they all do as her and Blaise watched them leave.

He spent a few minutes talking to all of them, while reading their minds, it took over an hour, but it had to be done. Luna thankfully helped, between the two of them they got through it quicker, cutting Harry's workload in half.

"I've only got one woman I'm concerned with," Luna whispered quietly, only being loud enough for Blaise, Susan, Daryl and Harry to hear. "Honestly? She's been making plans to blow this building sky high, killing everyone inside of it, including herself."

"Murder-suicide, lovely," Harry grumbled, "How the hell do we deal with someone like that?" he couldn't just kill someone for thought crime for Merlin's sake while being broken under Negan's tyranny.

"Is she still having those thoughts?" Daryl asked, brows furrowed.

"Yes," Luna admitted, "How about you?"

"Mostly just relief, worries and hopes," Harry told them, "Nothing concerning, although I have a feeling many will actually want to join the other communities." Others however, were strong enough to put down roots here despite the bad start.

"What we going to do about the woman?" Blaise asked, "We wouldn't be able to do shit against a bomb." Knowing what they were, everyone in the magical with an ounce of smarts knew.

Inhaling sharply, "I don't know…It's clearly unsafe to leave her here." He didn't want them all to die because of one woman's depression and suicidal tendencies. "What do you think?"

"Give her what she wants, a quick painless death," Blaise retorted immediately, "Can't risk her killing the last of humanity off." Even if they were muggles.

"I agree with him," Daryl said.

"I don't know…what if we bring her to Madam Pomfrey?" Susan asked, sympathetic to the woman's plight.

"Do you think Poppy can spare time to see to the woman's mental health, and visit her up to three or four times a day?" Harry asked, "Considering the rest of her duties?" which included according to Hermione…training up seven wizards and witches the art of Medi-wizardry. "And keep an eye on her twenty-four hours a day? Because if she cannot do what she initially wanted she will try suicide…and when people are that determined…they can and will come up with a way."

"What if I tried?" Susan suggested.

"You want to stay here full time? At the risk of what she might try? That's entirely up to you, but the others will return to P.A and she's definitely not getting within breathing distance of my place." Harry said seriously, he would not risk his people not for anything…he didn't even want to risk these people.

"You wished me to lead these people, didn't you?" Susan pointed out.

"On a temporary basis, yeah," Harry confessed, "They need it,"

"Do you want to stay here? I thought you'd want to be with your own people…and Hogwarts." Luna questioned slightly surprised.

"They need help," Susan said, staring at the group a lot less terrified than they'd been the last time Harry had been here. "I'd like to help them."

"Then you need to do something about the woman before she kills all of you," Harry warned her, the thought of losing this many people were daunting.

"I will," Susan said sincerely.

"Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention please?" Harry called out, gaining everyone's attention. "I apologise it took me so long to return…but I was advised to give you some time to come to terms with what's happened." letting them know he hadn't abandoned them.

"As I said before, you needed to make a decision on whether to stay here, under the care of Susan Bones, who will be your leader from here on out. She is fair and just, there will be no system here where one person is greater than any other. All of you will do chores, all of you will learn how to fight and more importantly…and ultimately…you'll all learn how to scavenge and take care of yourself and your families…all of you here is a family. A family made up of survivors. More importantly, Susan will pick out people to become apprenticed to, healing, mechanics, botany and anything that will help the world continue. If it's something you want, talk to her," Harry informed them all, the hall utterly silent as he spoke. "If you wish to make a fresh start…there are a few doors open to you, one you split away from the group and make your own way…two you join one of the other communities…the choice is as it has always been, your own."

"I would like you to give me a chance to prove myself," Susan called out after Harry was done. "It's going to be a regime change, a massive difference from Negan, I want to make this a home for all of us. With magic, it will be warm, cosy and comfortable in a way that it isn't right now." She promised, tapping her wand against the wall, showing a good side of magic, and the walls that were dull grey turned white which brightened the place considerably.

"If you have made up your mind to leave, please exit this room to your right," Harry gestured towards the door he wanted them to use. "Please bear in mind, that if you aren't sure…you can wait, I will be returning frequently, with animals and such so that you can become self-sustaining. And Susan will be sure to bring it up, we are not a dictatorship but we will not allow people to be murdered…we are too few, to rebuilt we need everyone we can…with only probably around a third of the population left…we need all the decent people we can get." Here he was looking at the woman who had an intense look on her eye, looking away at the mention of murder, a guilty look in her face.

Nobody moved, everyone clearly torn on what to do for the best.

They'd seen the bad side of magic, heard what had happened to the Saviors – who they didn't really care about – but they'd also been told about the good things magic was capable of by Susan.

Harry gave them all a reassuring smile, making a decision, he opened his trunk and disappeared inside. He emerged with a black bag full of stuff and suddenly Daryl knew what he was doing. Which caused him to roll his eyes, he used to do it all the time, it was toys for the kids.

They lit up like it was Christmas, brand new untouched toys, each choosing what they wanted with glee. Harry smiled softly at the sight of the children still able to be so happy about something so simple. "Susan will be going around to find out what you might need, whether it's personal feminine supplies or something to help with pain. Tell her, we'll do what we can to help." Luckily, he could duplicate feminine supplies until magic ran dry so it wasn't something they'd ever run out of. It wasn't possible to duplicate food though, or bathing supplies.

"We're brought shampoo, shower gel, bubble bath, all I ask is use in moderation," Harry explained, "Along with medical supplies and medication," another thing that could not be replicated, which was why it was being made. Harry handed over that particular rucksack to Susan. Hopefully she'd made sure they couldn't get into the food supplies or worse the supply of guns – not to forget everything else – this place must have.

That certainly got everyone talking.

"Including new clothes, I need your sizes," Harry spoke over the general excitement his announcement had elicited. Feminine hygiene products were only given to Negan's 'wives' and as long as he was feeling gracious. "The children as well." They too could be duplicated – as long as he had the original – duplicating a duplicate didn't work.

Everyone was calling out their sizes, more so the ones in the sweaters and jogging bottoms. With letters on the front in spray paint as if they were nothing but cattle.

"Easy! Tell Susan, she'll write it down and I'll get what's needed," Harry stated firmly, causing them to once again go quiet. "We'll bring at least five different sets of clothes for you, if you're allergic to anything let us know." He whispered to Susan, "Find out the shoe size as well."

Susan gaped at him, "How much do you have?"

"I emptied out dozens upon dozens of malls and supermarkets," Harry revealed, he had been very careful with his good…used to hoarding as he was while at the Dursley's it was easy. "Duplicating everything I can works wonders…it makes it look like barely anything has been taken out…except the food…. although a lot of it was replaced after I went through the magical alley." There were other magical alleys he'd get around to one day…there would be a day where they needed more wands.

"Diagon Alley, yes, Hermione said they're close to expanding the wards." Susan said, hopefully she'd have things settled enough to help. "Thank you, Harry." They were her responsibility now.

"Well, that accomplished nothing…" Harry sighed in silent irritation "And you're welcome."

"I'll bring by Runes, for hot water," Luna said, "And a few different other things…as soon as I can." She'd be really busy trying to get all the runes etched and magic imbued.

"I'll give you a hand, Marcus is good at Ancient Runes too," Blaise told her, that's why they were here. To help out where Harry couldn't, wouldn't be able to soon enough.

"That would be wonderful," Luna smiled in relief, Mira couldn't help for obvious reasons…Harry hadn't taken Runes so she'd pretty much been on her own…help would be greatly appreciated.

"You guys can head back to P.A whenever you like," he called out to the wizards and witches. "We're heading back now."

"I'll come for the list some time tomorrow, Susan," Luna informed her fellow witch.

"That's great, thank you, Luna," Susan said with a smile.

"And here, some food ready to be heated up, stew and soup," Harry said handing over the bag. "Fresh fruit and vegetables not sure if you've got any of that."

"There's a lot yes, but nothing fresh, thank you," Susan smiled, she'd written everything down to keep track of it. Now she just needed to list everything she'd need to make live more…worth living here for everyone. It would give her more time to do what she needed before nightfall without focusing on having to feed the abundance of people here who looked like they could use a good meal.

"And if you're looking for a second…Senna is very grounded; she was a psychiatrist before all this." Harry recommended, pointing out the woman in question. Making a mental note to make a set of mirrors for Susan so she could get in touch when need be.

"I'll keep that in mind," Susan nodded, likely to take Harry's idea for what it was, he had been reading their minds and probably knew best. She would still talk to her and see for herself though. She'd need a second, she wasn't going to spend every waking moment here. She would want to return to Hogwarts frequently.

"Alright, we're going to leave you to it, good luck," Harry said wryly, knowing what it was like to lead. "Stick to your guns, don't change your mind too often and don't take any of their shit, they'll test you like children." He had been luckily enough to have the respect of the people he'd initially parted with and found the prison with. Except Dale, but he had kept his misgivings to himself, and realized somewhere along the way that he'd been right, they hadn't been a good fit. Dale had managed to forgive him for Randall…perhaps by keeping them all safe? Dale was a good man, a bit blinded to the way the world really worked…but he hadn't known about his magic…hadn't known Harry had seen what he had. That Randall wasn't just an innocent bystander…he was just as guilty as the rest. That he had been a true danger to everyone, including Amy and Andrea…who he loved like the daughters he'd never had.

After they all said their goodbye's Luna's curiosity got the better of her, "Excuse me," she said, it was time to find her boyfriend and find out what he was up to.

When Luna got home she blinked in shock, "What the…" staring at her boyfriend in complete befuddlement.

A.N – Yeah, I know the actions over it's a bit boring, but if you want you can just wait until it's finished and read the last chapters…the rest of the story is just going to be everyone happy-ish as they can be in a post-apocalyptic world! I did promise to keep the story going for the duration of the Mpreg and I always keep my promises so yeah, you'll see a lot of that. And more of civilisation perhaps in the last chapter…although, I've stopped watching TWD so I'm not sure of anything other than the Whispers and Oceanside that I could mention…if you know any other groups let me know I'll add them too if need be! So, will the Oceanside try to kill Harry and Daryl? Or will there be witches amongst them unable to use magic? That will allow them to trust the others? Or will Harry just have to back away and leave them be? I think they're the worst-off victims of Negan and his savagery…they did NOT trust anyone at all R&R please!
