Mean Girls
Chapter three: What's Regina up to?
As Cady came home her mother saw her.
"Hey honey." said her mother, Cady to deep in thought barely even heard her mother.
"Cady?" Her mother said a bit louder.
"Huh?" Cady snapped out of her thought. "Oh I was just thinking of... something." And she walked again leaving her mother in confusion.
Later at dinner Cady ate in silence until her mother broke their silence.
"So Cady how was your day?"
"Fine." muttered Cady.
"Just fine?" her mother was beginning to suspect something.
"Yeah, may I be excused?" But before either her parents could answer she went to her room.
What could Regina possibly do? She thought and then she remembered the burn book
"Oh yeah." said Cady out loud.
Later while Cady was getting ready to sleep her mother called her to tell her someone was calling.
"Hello?" said Cady. No answer and then click. After Cady put the phone down her mother asked who it was.
"I don't know, no one talked." answered Cady.
"Oh." said her mother. Cady was dreading going to bed if only something would happen to her so she wouldn't have see Regina tomorrow. As the day began no such luck, nothing happened to Cady.
"I could still hope." muttered Cady. She sadly put on her clothes, ate breakfast, and walked to school.
As she entered the building she noticed that some people were starring at her.
"What?" Cady said rudely. They turned and walked away. "Whatever." said Cady and also walked away.
Inside she was greeted by Regina and her posse.
"I'm glad you weren't to chicken to come to school today." said Regina. How was I ever friends with her thought Cady.
"As if I would be afraid of you." said Cady bravely.
"Of course you would. You know how I am." replied Regina and smirked.
"What do you want?" asked Cady.
"Oh nothing really, just that you should be careful today." said Regina, Cady didn't get what she meant. The bell rang and Cady snapped out of it, but inside she had a dreadful feeling, she just didn't know what it was.
