So... I was bored after my test in Alg2 today, so I wrote this. Hah. It's my most recent non-depressing story. So yay for that.

Valentine's
Day. A day of love, a day of romance.
The
busiest season for the Host Club.
So
many girls flocked to them around this time. Many were hopeful that
they just might be the one to steal the heart of their favorite host.
Many were just lonely, and wanted some company during this time.
For
awhile, it had even been Tamaki's favorite season. A chance to show
off his romance skills. A chance to show that he really was
the Host Club King.
However,
this year, that just wasn't doing it for him. He didn't want to
prove his skills for this Valentine's Day.
He
only wanted her.
Ever
since Haruhi had stumbled upon the Host Club by accident, Tamaki's
life had rapidly begun to change. Though he still did his hosting
duties, he grew less interested in impressing all the girls. He
poured more energy into protecting her, watching over her,
and impressing her.
But
once he realized his true feelings for her, thing really began to
change in him.
He
offered to pay her debt for her. She refused of course.
He
even acted slightly nervous around her. But, of course, she was
oblivious to it.
He
just wasn't sure of himself anymore.
The
Annual Host Club Valentine's Dance came. Tamaki put up his usual,
charming front. Girls came and went, and he danced with each one that
asked, charming them all the while.
However,
he kept his eyes on Haruhi.
He
wished for nothing more than for her to be among these girls, wearing
a beautiful dress. If that was possible, then he would choose her
over any of these other girls any day.
Funny
how these things turn out.
After
the dance, Tamaki and Haruhi stayed behind to clean up. The other
hosts left, claiming they had "other business to attend to".
The
two did what they usually did – talk about nothing in particular.
Classes, people, the other hosts, future activities, and other things
like that. As they talked, though, Tamaki could feel his cool front
breaking. His feelings were slowly catching up with him.
"Hey,
Senpai…" Haruhi said, stopping.
Tamaki
looked puzzled. "What is it?"
"Well,"
she said in her usual tone, "you've seemed kind of distant
lately. Have things been going okay for you?"
A
typical Haruhi question, he thought, a smile on his face.
"Yeah,
I'm fine. Thank you… thank you for worrying about me, though."
He broke out into a grin.
I
just can't tell you… not yet. It wouldn't be right.
Haruhi
smiled back. "Alright. Just know… if there ever is anything, I'll
listen."
"Ah…
th-thank you…"
They
went on cleaning, but this time in silence, Tamaki going into
thought. He was grateful for Haruhi's concern, of course, but this
gesture made his feelings surface even more.
"Ha-Haruhi…"
he managed to stumble out. "The truth is…"
"Yes?"
She replied, oblivious as usual.
"We
hosts… we spend our free time romancing all these girls. You think
it would be every man's dream job." He paused, breathing in. "For
awhile, it was. I really did love charming every girl I could. I
loved dancing with all them. But lately…"
Here
goes.
"I
only want to dance with you."
