Asking For Trouble
Now I bet you all can imagine what this title is explaining here? But before we do get to the punchline of the title, we will first have a glimpse of how Roberto and Jacqueline's first date back at the clubhouse where Martin is already there! We will also be seeing RDJ and Lila turning up a little later on, which will of course give them a bit of a scare! Not to mention the other bird who has been watching their movements…Jewel will also have an appearance in this chapter! So without further ado…let's get to it!
Around The Same Time RDJ Kisses Lila…
Roberto was very excited about what he was going to do today! More than he had ever been in a very long time.
He was on his way to go and meet a girl who he had met in a club the night before, and this was going to be their very first actual date! And you could imagine the excitement on his face, because he was so keen to get to know the other blue spix's macaw in his life.
He gracefully flapped his wings as he made his way through the city, avoiding many of the houses and buildings that surrounded him. Mainly because there were a lot of humans in sight, and he clearly wasn't very fond of them.
"Oh dear god! There are way too many of them out in the streets this time in the day? Shouldn't they be at the beach or something?" The muscular blue male spoke to himself, as he tried to retrace his steps to get to the clubhouse that Jacqueline had brought him to the other day…but he was having a hard time remembering where to go! "Hmmm…was it down this street? Or was it down this one? I…I can't ever keep track of this fucking city!" He cursed to himself, as his frustrations were getting the better of him.
He thought that maybe it would be wise if he asked one of the locals passing by, if they had seen any other blue macaws in the area. So he could narrow down his search.
"Erm…excuse me?! Excuse me sir!" Roberto called out to this young orange macaw male, who was currently perched on top of a fence. Who was clearly relaxing in the heat, until the blue male took him by surprise. So he turned around to face him with a very confused look on his face…considering he had no idea who he was.
"Huh? Were you talking to me dude?" He asked a bit confused as he pointed a wingtip to his chest, as he stated directly at the blue spix's male.
"Yes, apologies! I am looking for another blue spix's macaw around this area? Female, fairly slim? Has a beautiful look!" Roberto described her in a little bit of detail, making the orange macaw male smile at him.
"Ohhh, you mean Jacqueline? Yeah I know where she is! Wait…you're not with Felix are you?" The bird asked him seriously as he took a couple of steps backwards.
"No no! That guy is an asshole! But you know who Jacqueline is right?"
"Of course! I'm part of her club! The name's Leo! What's your name?" The orange macaw introduced himself to be Leo as he extended his wing to shake with his.
"Roberto! It's nice to meet you!" The blue male replied with a smile as he shook his wing.
"So, I take it you are looking for the secret clubhouse?" He asked him with a curious eyebrow raised. "Follow me and I'll take you to it!"
"Thank you Leo!"
"You're welcome! Now follow me, and stay out of sight! I hear Felix is always sending his men out here to search the area for his girlfriend!" Leo beamed as leapt into the air, and flapped his wings to make it over to where the club would be.
But as Roberto followed him in the same direction, something that he just said didn't make any sense? "Wait wait hang on a second!" Roberto spoke up as he just managed to fly alongside him. "What do you mean he's searching for his girlfriend?"
"Didn't you hear? After what happened last night with Lila, when she left the club this morning she didn't go back to the club? But nobody knows why?" Leo remarked as they flew down the very same alley that Jacqueline escorted Roberto through. "Poor girl, I'd hate to be the guy near her in a time like this! That's asking for a death sentence!"
"Yeah…I suppose it is?" Roberto was in deep thought about this, because even though she barely knew who this girl was…he knew that RDJ was really into her. So a small part of him was fearing that his best friend might have done something stupid. "He better not have done…"
"What?"
"Nothing!" Roberto quickly answered as they landed outside the fence that was covering the side. "Okay, help me with the…"
"I've been here before!" Leo snapped back in amusement, as the two of them pulled the fence to the side as they slowly made their way in. Before of course bringing it back over to cover their tracks. "Were we spotted?"
"I don't think so?"
"Good, hurry hurry!" The two of them flew up to the other door that was leading to the smaller room, and Roberto knocked on the door twice to alert the birds inside of their presence.

"Password?" Martin asked from the other side of the door, as his eyes fell upon the muscular blue male.
"Felix Die!" Roberto and Leo simultaneously beamed as they entered the room when the green winged male opened the door.
"Good to see you again Roberto! Jacqui is waiting for you in the back yard! As for you Leo, it's good to see you again!" Martin beamed as he hugged his friend, who laughed in amusement and patted him on the back.
"It's good to see you too buddy!" The orange macaw spoke with a warm smile as the two of them parted from the hug.
Roberto completely focused all of his attention on the fact that Jacqueline was waiting for him out back. So where the other two were getting better acquainted and we're catching up. The muscular blue male pushed the back door open to go into the yard, and there sitting at the very same fence where they shared their first kiss, was none other than a very excited Jacqueline. "Jacqui! Jacqui!"
"ROBERTO! YOU CAME!" The blue female beamed excitedly as she ran up to the blue male pretty ecstatically, and tackled him to the ground, making both of them laugh as they hit the ground. "I'm so glad that you're here! It took you a while?"
"I spent about half an hour trying to find this place! Luckily I ran into Leo who lead me here!" Roberto explained as he hugged her in a warm embrace.
"Leo is here too? God…I haven't seen him since Felix killed his wife." Jacqueline sadly spoke as she lowered her head to the ground in defeat.
"What the fuck?! Why would he do that?" Roberto spoke back with so much horror, that now he understands why Felix is incredibly dangerous and incredibly hated.
"Because she found out about what they did to get the club in the first place, so when she tried to escape, Felix shot her with a harpoon gun!" Jacqueline sadly remarked as the two of them stood back up on their talons.
"Jeez…how many innocent lives must be ruin before he is completely satisfied?" Roberto asked rhetorically, as they made their way back over to the spot they went to when sharing their first kiss. "How can that asshole be so cruel?"
"Because he doesn't have a heart! Preying on the innocent and taking what they love is all he knows! Even…destroying the proud female that Lila once was! I swear to god if I get the chance, I'm gonna make sure that Felix gets what he deserves!"
"You might not have to!" Roberto answered as he wrapped a wing around her shoulders lovingly, as she looked at him full of confusion.
"What do you mean Roberto?"
"Okay, first of all, if I'm gonna call you Jacqui, I require a cute nickname too!" The muscular blue male laughed as he gazed into her eyes.
"Ooooh, how about mop head? Because of your hair?" Jacqueline giggled in amusement as she ran a wingtip through his head feathers.
"Oh haha very funny!" He rolled his eyes, while giving her a little smirk.
"Oooh, how about bulky boy?"
"No!" This one was a little more hurtful for him.
"Buff bulky boy?"
"NO!"
"The incredible Bulk?"
"How many times are you going to call me bulky?" Roberto rolled his eyes in annoyance, because he clearly didn't like being called bulky, causing Jacqueline to burst into laughter.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! Do you…have a nickname that your friends call you?"
"Beto…"
"Awwwww that's so cute! Okay, I shall call you Beto!" Jacqueline cutely whispered and kissed him on the beak, causing Roberto to blush slightly. "So, tell me what you meant earlier by me not having to do anything about it?"
"Ohhh that! Ummm…I don't know if you have heard the gossip? But Lila left the club this morning to clean herself up after last night, and…that was about an hour ago? And she hasn't returned to the club yet!" The muscular blue male explained as the two of them relaxed in each other's wings. "Felix raped her last night!"
"Ahhhhh not again! This is the ninth time this month! That fucking prick!"
"Yeah, but now that are sending birds out to find her…it's only a matter of time until they do!" Roberto replied with a very calm tone, as he brushed a wing gently against her face. This made her smile deeply at him, with so much admiration. "But things will only improve if Lila stays away from him!"
"Really?! I mean…I would get the fact on why she would not stay in the club…but why wouldn't she have gone back yet?" Her eyes widened in surprise when she heard this.
Even though Jacqueline was very surprised to hear that Lila did not return to her abusive boyfriend Felix. She was extremely happy that her best friend did get out of there, to avoid herself from getting hurt anymore.
"I don't know…but a part of me thinks that one of my best friends has done something really really stupid!" The muscular blue male looked down in disappointment and shook his head from side to side at the thought of RDJ, clearly thinking that he was the one who she was meeting this morning.
"Oh, you're muscly friend RDJ?" Jacqueline asked with an innocent look, causing her date to nod his head in agreement. "Do you think that they met up this morning, and he was the one who convinced her to say away?"
"Pffft! I bloody hope not! Surely one of my best friends knows better than that to do something that dangerous!" Roberto replied with a slight smirk…clearly not ready for what was about to happen.
Suddenly, Martin heard a knocking at the door from the other side of the room, and Roberto and Jacqueline instantly became worried! Because they knew that this club did not have many members.
"Passwo…OWWWW!" Leo screamed in annoyance as he covered his right eye in pain. This was because he got poked in the eye with a wingtip, and it clearly hurt him. "WHAT THE HELL LILA?!"
"LILA?!" Jacqueline blurted out in surprise as she jumped to her feet, her jaw hanging low in a horrified way. With her body trembling like the rustling of leaves on a windy day.
"So what? It's just Lila?" Roberto responded as he tried his best to comfort her. But before she turned around to face him…he instantly saw the door fly open and the blue male soon joined in on Jacqueline's nervous feelings. "Oh…shit…RDJ is with her!"
The two of them walked into the club holding wings…and they were smiling at first as they finally got to safety, but when the blue and gold macaw's eyes fell upon a certain blue male…his eyes flew open in surprise.
"Roberto?! What are you doing here?" RDJ asked curiously as he walked into the back yard with Lila…but the difference between the two of them this time, was the fact they were holding wings.
Where Lila felt so comfortable holding wings with a guy who she genuinely believes could be the perfect guy to look after her. Jacqueline formed a really annoyed glare, and she pointed her wingtip at them in a threatening way. "What…the fuck…are you playing at Lila?! Do you have any idea, on what you are doing right now?"
"Oh, isn't that a great greeting from your best friend?" Lila responded sarcastically as she rolled her eyes in annoyance.
"I'm sorry Lila, but I'm with Jacqui on this one! I know you are really unhappy with Felix? And I mean REALLY unhappy! But you and RDJ hooking up behind his back?! That's only going to get one of you, if not both of you killed!" Roberto added as he crossed his wings while glaring at her.
"Roberto it's not like that!" RDJ pointed out as he continued to hold wings with Lila.
"I'll get to you in a minute!" Roberto growled as he lifted his wing up to stop one of his best friends from saying anything. "Lila…you can't get involved with RDJ or anyone behind Felix's back! You are asking for an invite to your own funeral!"
"So?! I'll surely be attending my own either way?! How long will it be after the beating, the yelling, the rape? Until he hits me so hard that I actually die Roberto?!" Lila cried as she defended her new friend, who admired her courage when standing up for him.
"It doesn't matter darling! But before we do carry on here…Hi sexy, my name is Martin!" Martin extended his wing for a wingshake, standing in a seductive pose to try and flirt with the blue and gold male. Which of course made him incredibly uncomfortable.
"RDJ…now can you guys just stop trying to control us? We can make our own decisions!" The blue and gold male stood up for the two of them, as Lila rested her head on his shoulder.
Smiling so wide that you could tell that she was very happy…and where Roberto and Martin were completely against this. Jacqueline on the other wing…something inside of her wanted to see Lila smile more like this…so maybe her being with RDJ…could bring the girl that she once knew back.
The girl she grew up together with, and the girl who she was so close with! But obviously it's the concern about Felix and what he was capable of doing to get his own way…in his own messed up way.
"Lila…" her best friend approached her wing her wings raised, and she placed both of her wings on her shoulders as she gazed into her eyes. "Are you sure…that this is what you want?"
"Jacqui?" Martin was about to ask her to explain, but the blue spix's female immediately beat him to it.
"No bestie…Lila…please tell me…are you sure, that this is what you want?" She asked a second time as she gave her that same serious look.
Lila turned around to look at the guy she kissed, and her smile just widened every time she looked at him. Then she turned back around to face her best friend, and she nodded her head as a yes.
"Yes Jacqueline…for too long I've suffered under the clutches of an abusive and horrible asshole! Who thought that he could convince me that I'm nothing, worthless, unlovable!" She started to tear up while she was talking, and RDJ wrapped a wing around her to comfort her as she continued to talk. "But this random guy…who I met in the club last night! He made me feel things that I never thought I could feel!"
After Lila had explained her case to her best friend…she was completely at a loss for words. Because she wasn't expecting her to find someone who genuinely makes her this happy! So even though Felix would most likely send gangsters to find and kill the both of them, she knew that as long as she was happy, she was happy too.
"I'm so glad that you found someone who you like! But…I think if you're going to keep this up, you have to remain here!"
"WHAT?!" Martin, Leo and Roberto all blurted out in surprise as the three of them all covered their beaks.
"You cannot be serious?!" Roberto then spoke separately, as he placed a wing on Jacqueline's shoulder. "Wouldn't that be putting all of us in danger?"
"Thinking about yourself again there Beto?" RDJ snarkily remarked as he narrowed his eyes at him, as he thought back to the night that Roberto was 'Coincidentally' not there when he got attacked in the club.
"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?" His friend replied a little insulted by his comment.
"Oh I don't know? How about the fact that you abandoned us in the club when I was getting beaten the crap out of by Felix's men?! Only Lila managed to get them to stop after a while!" RDJ sarcastically replied and took a step towards him.
"Well I'm not the one who flirted with the gangster's girlfriend! Only you'd be stupid enough to do something like that!"
"Careful when choosing your words Beto!" The blue and gold male tightened his wings into fists, and glared at him coldly.
"Or are you only groping Lila to get over your addiction to Jewel?!"
"Why you little…"
"RDJ! STOP!" Lila immediately pulled him back with her blue wings, and she stood in front of him, smiling at her new friend. "You're saying these things out of anger…come on? He's your best friend?"
Lila at this point felt a slight touch of déjà vu, and she instantly became worried that RDJ would turn around and slap her like Felix did.
But instead of that happening, he turned around and wrapped a wing around her, as she widened her eyes in surprise, but eventually relaxed in his comfort.
"Roberto…I understand that I may be putting all of us in danger! But…I'm sorry! I really like Lila, and I want us to get to know each other more! I've never felt this way about anyone since Jewel, and I really want this to work!" RDJ explained as he approached the muscular blue male, who lowered his head in defeat. Because he knew that he was overreacting to what was going on.
"Well…maybe I am going a little overboard here? If you guys want to give this is a try…then we will do our best to prevent Felix from finding out!"
"Good…but what about me? If Lila is going to remain here to hide from Felix, do I go back home as normal? Or do I stay here with her?" RDJ asked curiously as he gave Martin a curious glance.
The green winged male placed a wingtip on his chin to think, and he paced up and down in front of the potential new couple. But as soon as he found the perfect idea…he quickly ran up to him and grabbed him by both of his shoulders. "I just got it! You…can still go home like there's no issue! Lila can stay here with us! And Jacqueline could tell Felix that Lila ran away? And nobody will ask any questions!" Martin beamed as he jumped up and down excitedly.
Jacqueline thought about this for a moment and tried to get the whole idea wrapped around her mind…although, she did like the idea of her best friend hiding here…away from her toxic relationship with the asshole scarlet macaw. "Okay…I think this could work! But…the same terms apply for the two of you!" The blue female macaw seriously spoke as she pointed her wingtip at the two of them. "Not a WORD to anyone! Got it?!"
"Got it!" Both of them replied while nodding their heads, and gave each other a fist bump. But before anything else did happen…Roberto remembered something pretty crucial.
"SHIT! THE GIRLS?!" Roberto blurted out and covered his face with his wings.
"What?! What is it Roberto?" Lila asked in a panic as she grasped RDJ's wing again.
"We told the girls we'd meet them at the beach with their boyfriends! Damnit! We completely lost track of time!"
"Well that's okay? You guys can meet them at the beach, and Leo can go with you! He could say that he was injured in the jungle, and you guys helped him…I don't know? Pop his wing back into place or something?" Martin quickly thought of an excuse while placing a wing on his hip.
"That's not a bad idea?! But what about our dates? We were supposed to be having dates with you girls today?" RDJ spoke sadly as he lowered his head in annoyance.
Jacqueline walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder with a really friendly smile. "Don't worry my friend! We can pick things up where we left off later tonight if you want? In fact…me and Martin here were discussing having a potential karaoke night going on here?"
"Really?! Oooh that sounds like fun! Don't you agree buddy?" The muscular blue male turned to his best friend with an optimistic grin on his beak.
"That does sound fun! What time shall we meet you guys back here?"
"I'd say around 6pm tonight? I'll even let you and Lila go first!" The green winged male beamed as he smiled mischievously at Lila…who blushed uncontrollably at the thought of the two of them singing together.
"O-Okay! S-S-Sounds great!" The blue and gold male also blushed nervously at the thought of this, as Roberto instantly cut him out of his trance.
"Okay lover boy! Let's get to the beach quickly, before we get spotted by any of our new enemies that will clearly be searching for us!" The muscular blue male beamed as he was the first one to walk out of the sliding door. "See you tonight Jacqui!"
"Lover boy my ass!" RDJ whispered in a groan, and just rolled his eyes before taking one last little look at Lila.
"Don't be too long mr muscles…I'll be here waiting for you! Hehehe!" She cheekily giggled and gave him a flirtatious wave.
"Hehehe I'm counting on it! See you soon…Luscious Lila!" RDJ gave her a cute nickname, and pushed the sliding door to the side, before closing it behind him and disappearing out of the yard.
As she watched the two of them leave together, she sighed happily in satisfaction. She also placed a wing on her heart, which continued to beat rapidly at the thought of him. She was clearly already missing him…needless to say that she was also very worried about what her current boyfriend would do if she found out where she was hiding.
"Wow…you really like him, don't you?"
"Huh?" Lila quickly jolted her head to the right, to see her best friend smiling at her with a really cheeky smile. "What…What are you talking abou.."
"Oh don't give me that look…luscious Lila!" Jacqueline giggled in amusement as her friend just blushed uncontrollably. "You and I both know that you loathe Felix so much that you were trying to find an escape? But as soon as this…big handsome stallion comes along, you are getting all flirty, giggly, giddy, and not to mention…hormonal?"
"Stop it Jacqui! We are only getting to know each other! I mean…yeah I do fancy him a little bit? But I have to be careful about this! If I rush things with RDJ, I'll just feel like I'm using him to fulfil my needs for the relationship that I have always wanted!"
"Lila, this is the first time I have ever seen you this happy in a very long time! And I couldn't be more happy for you! But I want you to be very gentle when dealing with this!"
"Why wouldn't I be careful? It's like with you and Roberto! I've met someone who genuinely cares about my feelings and emotions! Unlike Felix who only cares about when he gets pleasure, or when his club is running successfully with a singer who would fulfil his every needs!"
"But aren't you afraid of what could happen to you darling?" Martin shuffled over to the blue female nervously and laid his head on her shoulder. "I mean yeah…I'd like totally chew his fucking face off myself, oooh mama!" Martin blushed as he fanned a wing in front of his face. "But…you gotta think about your life honey! Cause as the end of the day? Either way…you are the one who's gonna be hurting! Physically…and or emotionally! You just got to decide which one you want to be!"
Lila heard everything that the feminine green winged male was saying, and she did understand where he was coming from. But at the same time the only other thought on her mind was the thought of being with RDJ…and that was the only thing she wanted to do right now.
"Don't worry guys! I think that Felix won't suspect a thing!"
Are You Sure About That…Let's Find Out…(1 Hour Later)
"LILA?! UGHHHHH…Where the fuck is she?" Felix growled in rage as he bashed his wing on the podium in front of the club's entrance. With Zenon and Alfonso standing each side of him as he stood there anxiously waiting for his girlfriend to return. "WHERE THE HELL IS SHE?!"
"I don't know sir?! Please don't be mad? I'm sure she's spending a lot of time on her appearance sir! You did say that she looked like a mess?" Zenon responded nervously as he saw that his boss was getting extremely agitated about this.
"Yeah…you're probably right! But fuck me she was a mess! I'm sorry but, if I had woken up to that face every morning, I'd probably scratch my eyes out!" The scarlet male chuckled evilly while giving one of his henchmen a fist bump.
"Yeah haha! Like we did to that blue and gold dude! RD-Gay! Hahaha!" Alfonso joked as he clapped his wings together in amusement. "I remember we beat the life out of him! He's probably sitting in the hollow with his mommy, crying like a little bitch!"
"Haha Yea…Wait…Hold on a minute! You don't think that she is with that GUY?! Do you?!" The scarlet male asked incredibly irritated, and clenched both his wings into fists. "Well?! DO YOU?!"
"I doubt it sir! We kicked the living shit out of him! He's probably so scared that he didn't even bother coming to the city again! Wait a second…is that her friend coming?" Aldo so randomly asked, as the three of them looked up to the sky, to see Jacqueline flying up to them pretty quickly, and she had a fake sad expression on her face as she landed just in front of the irritated gangster boss.
Felix walked up to the blue female, he gave her a really serious expression, then crossed his wings while he glared into her eyes with anger. "Jacqueline? Have you seen my girlfriend anywhere?"
The blue spix's female gulped nervously, because she had to try and give him falsie information about her best friend. "Sniff…Sniff…Sniff…" she began to fake cry in front of him and placed a wing over her eyes to protect her face from him, which made him quite surprised at her behaviour.
"What's wrong with you? Why are you crying?"
"It's Lila boss! She's…She ran away sir!" Jacqueline lied with a very fake sad expression…I wonder how he was going to respond to this type of information?
"WHAAAAAAT?!" Felix roared in a thunderous tone, and instantly gripped Jacqueline by the neck and lifted her up so she was looking down on him. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY SHE RAN AWAY?! SPEAK WHORE!"
"SHE…ACKKKKAAA…RAN OFF…CRYING…OUT OF RIO…PLEASE…DON'T KILL ME!" The blue spix's female wheezed in between her pants, as the scarlet male's grip was really getting too tight for her.
"Well…Try and STOP HER! And I don't want to see your fucking face, until she is back in the club! And not only that…if I find out that RDJ has stolen my girl…I'm gonna kill him…you…Lila…and everyone he loves! DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?!"
"Y-Y-Yes!"
"GOOD! NOW FUCK OFF AND FIND HER! SO THAT WHEN SHE GETS BACK HERE, I WILL MAKE SURE SGE STAYS HERE!" Felix growled once more in irritation, threw the scared female on the floor, and stormed off back inside of the club. With both of his henchmen following him. Leaving the blue female to groan as she rubbed her neck.
"RDJ…you better know what you are fucking doing!" Jacqueline spoke on an annoyed tone, before flapping her wings to and her way back to the secret club.
Oh dear, things are getting a bit more intense now aren't they? After what seemed like a good date for Jacqueline and Roberto, RDJ and Lila have now put the club's safety at risk. Not only that! Felix now believes what Jacqueline had said about Lila running away! How could things get any worse? I suppose you'll have to find out! See you all soon for the next chapter!
