Digging A Bigger Hole
Now I wonder what this chapter could mean? We already know that Zenon is currently watching RDJ's movements after Felix noticed that his girlfriend hadn't returned to him. But what if the harpy eagle decides to get up close and personal with our friends? What do you think is going to happen? I guess we will have to find out, in this very chapter! Let's get to it shall we…?
1 Hour Later…
The afternoon began dragging late into the early evening here in Rio, and our favourite feathery friends were still relaxing at the beach as they spent the whole day together…still completely unaware that Roberto, Jewel, RDJ and Leo knew something that the others did not even realise.
Leo was just telling the new birds in his life about his past, and how he came to being very hateful of the vicious scarlet macaw which was Felix. And our favourite blue spix's macaw couple felt very emotional about his back story.
"So after I tried to stop him, he…shot her in the head with a harpoon gun…and then they had beaten every last amount of pride that I had left in my body! I gotta tell you…if I ever got the chance to have my revenge, I would take it!" The orange macaw male explained in a very calm tone, as he didn't really want to show his emotions. Even if it was to a group of birds who he had no relations with. "But he's just too powerful…I'd die within seconds if I crossed him!"
"Oh wow…I'm so sorry for your loss Leo! That must have been a really terrible experience for you?" Blu asked with a sympathetic glance, and patted him on the back to comfort him during this difficult story.
"It's fine…I've made my peace with it now! And I thought that maybe if I stopped worrying about it, maybe I could accept it…you know?" He spoke so humbly, but you could still tell that he wasn't happy about it. I mean…who would be, right?
"So what do you think about Lila going missing? This is going to be a very rough few days for you buddy?" Zeek asked his best friend, as he still believed in RDJ's lie. As himself, Roberto, Leo and even Jewel now, just sat there with straight faces on, to not give away the fact that she was still here, in Rio. With Martin and Jacqueline at the clubhouse.
"Oh…yeah…that is terrible! But…I have a feeling that she was only doing it to avoid me getting hurt again! Of course as well as herself!" RDJ spoke very convincingly, as his friends nodded their heads in agreement.
"I'm just glad she got out of there when she did! If Zeek ever did anything like that to me, I'd do exactly the same as her!" Georgia showed that Lila was right to leave her abusive relationship. As she felt really sorry about the way she was being treated by him.
"I just think that this is all a very bad sign! I mean…aren't you even afraid that Felix could kill you? To blame you for her disappearance?" Roberto decided to play along with the mind games, just to keep the secret much stronger to avoid any suspicion from his friends.
"Of course not buddy! He can't blame me for her disappearance! Because I wasn't the one who convinced her to do it!" RDJ replied very casually, turning towards Jewel, who have him a cheeky wink as she knew that he was making something up to hide what was really going on. "I am sure gonna miss her though…we could have been something special!"
"Orrrr, you could have had your head in the fucking sand!" Blu argued back as he shook his head from side to side.
"Yeah, then I get to avoid looking at your stupid ugly face!" RDJ joked as he gave him a playful grin.
"Hahaha fuck you!" Blu gave him a middle wingtip and smirked at his banter.
"Anyway, look…me and Zeek are going up to the festival preparations tonight! Are you guys going to come with us?" The female yellow macaw asked her friends, who all looked at each other unsurely. "Oh come on guys? We need to do something fun together, after RDJ got his ass kicked at the club!"
"Oh yeah…like the other night wasn't fun enough already?" RDJ answered very sarcastically, while rubbing his injured shoulder.
"I'd be up for that! Wouldn't you Jewel?" Blu asked his girlfriend with a warm grin as he rubbed her on the back in a really loving and soothing motion. As she softly moaned and sighed in relaxation.
"Yeah, that sounds like fun!" The blue spix's female responded as she clapped her wings together excitedly. Clearly she was happy to go to an event where she knew that they weren't going to be attacked by vile gangsters afterwards.
"What about you guys? Leo? You in?" Georgia asked the newcomer into the group, who very politely declined while shaking his head.
"Actually, I've invited Roberto and RDJ here to meet my parents? Just to tell them about how they saved my life! Plus I also wanted to bring them to a spot where I met my deceased wife for the first time!" Leo lied, watching them give him weird glances.
"Really? That sound like a…interesting evening?" Zeek replied a little unsurely, as he had no idea why Roberto and RDJ of all birds would decide to do something like that.
"ZEEK! You could have said that a lot nicer! You make it sound like it wasn't fun for him!" Georgia cut him off and roughly nudged him on the shoulder.
"It's okay! Honestly! But you know the rules, when you already make plans, you must honour those commitments!"
"Yeah, so! We better get going! Same time tomorrow?" RDJ asked his friends as one by one he gave them hugs before leaving. "Zeek, have you been gaining weight? A lot of jelly in the belly!"
"Hahaha Fuck you!" The yellow macaw male replied in an annoyed tone, as the blue and gold male along with everyone else just burst into laughter.
"Sure! Just don't forget about the cliff tomorrow! You promised that you would race me to the Christ The Redeemer Statue!" Jewel remarked to RDJ, before the two yellow macaws and two blue spix's macaws left the beach.
"Do not worry! I keep my promises!" The blue and gold macaw male shouted back with a wave, as he turned back around to face Leo and Roberto very quickly. "Okay…luckily they didn't suspect a thing!"
"Yeah…just wish you came up with a better excuse Leo!" The muscular blue macaw male smirked at him, as he blushed in embarrassment.
"My bad!" He waved his wing at them, as they prepared for their next phase of action. "Alright, I think we need to head off somewhere to get ready! Then immediately get back to the clubhouse before anyone spots us! The quicker that we can be able to do this…the quicker we can get to the others!"
"Perfect! I better make sure that I look my best tonight! I want Lila to really be impressed by my appearance!" RDJ remarked in a smooth tone, as he stretched his wings to prep himself for takeoff. "Hmmm, maybe I might use some peach juice on my pecks! It's a good way to shine them up!"
"Really? Who told you that?" Roberto asked curiously as he tilted his head sideways.
"Jewel told me!" RDJ chuckled in response and patted him on the back.
The other two nodded their heads in agreement and leapt into the air, as they began to make their way towards a certain spring in the jungle to get themselves ready for the evening!
But unfortunately for them in this strange situation…somewhere only metres away…they were completely oblivious…to the fact that Zenon, had heard everything that they had just spoke about. And the harpy eagle male began shaking in rage, as his eyes narrowed towards RDJ.
"LILA…I KNEW SHE WAS STILL HERE! I better warn the bo…" he paused for a second…pondering on what his next exact move would be.
If he had gone and warned his boss that Lila was still here in Rio, he could then cause a bit of a panic alert, and cause them to move even further away! But…if he was the one to follow them long enough to find her, he can deliver her back to his boss in a much easier fashion. So he had to make a decision fast, before losing sight of his victims.
"Okay…if I stay close to them long enough…maybe…just maybe, I might be able to get her back to Felix in time before the day is done!" Zenon thought to himself in a very dark and sadistic way, as he narrowed his eyes at the blue and gold macaw. "But one thing is for certain…I have to kill RDJ…"
Now Let's Head To The Springs…
In this very unique part of the jungle, you don't see these very often, but there were these hot springs in the jungle, that not only help with stress and anxiety! But…they can make an older bird look ten years younger with at least an hour in the hot spring!
Well…almost everyone…
"Leandro! I cannot believe you let me fall asleep in the spring! My skin is fucking peeling!" Amber whined in annoyance, as she plucked a few of her feathers from her back using her beak. Leandro on the other wing just looked really really upset with himself, as he knew that he should have told her to wake up sooner.
"I'm so sorry sweetheart! I know I should have made more of an effort to wake you! You just looked so peaceful and cosy? How was I supposed to know that this would happen?!" The blue and gold male argued back as he massaged her chest feathers with tree sap.
"Well I'm getting very frustrated now! Can we just go back to the hollow and relax? I think if I stay here much longer, this could turn into a heated discussion. Last thing I want to do is shout angrily at my hubby!" She smiled at her beloved and batted her eyelashes. Making him blush as he rose her wing and kissed it gently as she giggled playfully. "Let's go home my love!"
"After you, mi amor!" Leandro slapped his wife on the butt very playfully, and she just shook her head at him in a sly manner. As the two of them departed from that part of the jungle…only for Leo, RDJ and Roberto to arrive a few seconds later.
"Hey dude? Was that your mom and dad?" Roberto asked his good friend, who took a good look at them before nodding his head as a yes.
"Yeah? I wonder why they were he…ahhh man! I don't even want to know why they were here!" RDJ thought to himself aloud in disgust, the other two just chuckled before preparing to dip in the hot springs.
"I bet your mom definitely got some action in the springs! Let's just hope her jizz isn't floating around in there like a wet booger!" Roberto joked as he pushed RDJ into the spring.
"Hahaha very funny, maybe after the day is done I can bring Lila and Jacqueline here for some playful foreplay?" RDJ joked as he relaxed against the side of the spring.
"Oh good, then that means your sister is available?"
"Hahaha very funny!" The two of them continued to joke around, with Leo just shaking his head from side to side in amusement.
As the three of them were preparing to be pampered and prepped for tonight, a certain harpy eagle male was waiting in the shadows to make his move.
The reason why he hadn't approached them yet, was because he wanted them to be all relaxed in the springs, so it gives him the advantage on making the first attack. So all he had to do at this point in time, was just sit there on that tree branch…and wait. "You will tell me where Lila is RD-Gay…or you and all of your friends…are going to die…" Zenon spoke to himself, very darkly as he rubbed his wings together in a sadistic manner.
Let's get back over to our main friends now, and normally you would see them having a joke around with each other. And cause a bit of mischief as friends would do! But as for these guys, they decided to talk about the fact that Felix could send his entire gang over to where Martin, Jacqueline and Lila were. RDJ was very worried about his new affair.
"Hey Leo? Do you think that there is a chance that an entire group of his men could go to the clubhouse?" Roberto asked, as he slipped into the hot spring. Moaning in satisfaction as he relaxed against the inside of it. "Ooooh yeah…that's the stuff right there!"
"I doubt it? Martin had kept that place secret, ever since Lila started dating Felix. So if they could not find it back then, there is no chance that he would be able to find it now!" The orange male replied confidently, closing his eyes to take in the warmth of the water.
"So what are we supposed to do in the meantime? We just wait around until we head over there?" RDJ asked as he too joined Roberto and Leo in the spring, as the three of them just leaned back and relaxed. "Because what if someone is watching us? We can't be too careful about all of this! I'm in enough shit as it is!"
"Don't worry about it fellas! We got this! When we are done here…we are all gonna look so young, tha…" Leo was just about to finish his sentence, but before he could say anything else. A new voice has entered their conversation.
"Excuse me gentlemen!"
All three of them quickly turned their heads around when noticing that a new voice had entered the atmosphere…and as soon as they glanced in the direction that the voice came from…RDJ immediately because nervous.
"Y-Y-Yes? C-C-Can we help you?" The blue and gold macaw make stuttered very anxiously, as his wings started to tremble in terror.
"Any chance…I could use the spring?" The bird of course had to be the harpy eagle Zenon. Who just grinned wickedly at the group of birds as he casually strolled up besides them. "God I need this! After all the flying I had to do today! Do you guys mind?"
"Erm…sure?" Leo answered very calmly, and edged a little closer to the muscular blue and gold male, who instantly tightened his wing into a fist. Because he clearly felt a lot of nervous energy swelling up inside of him.
"Thank you!" Zenon slowly made his way into the hot spring…and as if it was completely all planned out, he sat opposite RDJ. And he looked at him with a sarcastic grin, as he too sat back and relaxed. "Hey? Don't I know you from somewhere?" Zenon gazed at the blue and gold male, and he formed a sadistic grin. As he saw that he was quite anxious about sitting so close to the bird who ordered an attack on him.
The atmosphere in this area became very intense, and it felt like the whole world had stopped spinning. There was not a single sound in this area, and the birds that were surrounded around the harpy eagle, they felt quite intimidated by his presence.
"Yes…you beat me in the club…just because I spilt drink on the singer and tried to dry her feathers…" RDJ softly spoke in a low tone, as the predator in front of him slowly nodded his head. "Which by the way, I managed to get myself sorted out! Thank you!"
"Ohhh yes! That is right…I remember you crying like a little bitch!" Zenon argued back as he had a wing tied behind his back. "I'm sorry…was I a little too strong for you?"
"I wouldn't say too strong for me…you just had nine of your little buddies to help you out! Not exactly a fair comparison!" RDJ became even more tense, but managed to keep a brave face on.
"Fair point…but I swear a male of your size could easily take a few of us on? Or were you raised to be a pussy?"
"Huaaaaaa!" Roberto and Leo silently gasped…they knew that the conversation became a bit heated…and not in the good kind!
"Well…there were ten of you, and one of me! Luckily I managed to sort myself out! What's your excuse?" RDJ responded as he slowly edged away from him…but Zenon like lightning grasped his wing and pulled him back over.
"Well isn't that a good thing? But you see…I'm not here to make an apology, if that's what you are thinking?" Zenon replied in an even darker tone, as he let go of his wing and narrowed his eyes at the muscular male once again.
"Then what exactly are you doing here?" He asked once again with the anger and hatred swelling up inside of him. "I take it you aren't here to hook up in the springs?"
"No…hahahahaha…you are funny kid! Ahhhhhh…" he chuckled in amusement as he wagged his wingtip at him. As he gave him a mocking smile. "I'm actually here for one reason and one reason only! Where…is my boss's girlfriend? Lila!"
"Oh no…" Roberto whispered to himself, as he got himself ready to leave the springs…but RDJ just wasn't having any of it.
"I don't know what you are trying to do here bud…Lila hasn't been seen by me since I left the club?!" RDJ lied, and saw what Zenon was hiding behind his back, that revealed to be a fairly large machete. "But I take it that you aren't exactly a believer of what I am saying?"
"See…now I KNOW! That you are lying to me! So why don't you just cut the bullshit, and tell me where to find her…or else!" Zenon stood up in the hot spring and narrowed his eyes at him with so much rage, and he knew that he had to change his tactics and be a little more aggressive towards him to get what he wanted. "WHERE…IS…LILA…?"
RDJ stood up in the same way and looked back at him with the very same face, matching the expression that was on his face. "I don't know…and even if I did know? I wouldn't tell you! So why don't you do yourself a favour? And just simply go and fuck yourself!"
"GRRRRRRR…LIAR! I know you know where she is! So you can look good for her?! Isn't that what you just said to your friends? To make her…impressed by your appearance?" He tightened the grip on the machete behind his back, and Leo luckily spotted it.
"Oops…"
"Yeah…OOPS! WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE?!" He placed the machete against RDJ's throat and pinned him up against the side. As both of his friends just looked at him in horror and complete terror. "WHERE IS SHE?! TELL ME, OR YOU FUCKING DIE!"
"NEVER!" RDJ quickly saw his opportunity and grabbed a rock from the outside of the spring and smacked it over Zenon's head, making him a little bit dizzy. Then he dropped his machete, right into RDJ's wing…and something…very horrific happened.
RDJ pushed Zenon's head and shoulders underwater in the hot spring, and pushed him all the way down as he struggled to gain oxygen.
Roberto also held him down by his wings to stop him from swimming upwards, and it was causing even more problems for the harpy eagle male.
"AGGGGYLLLBBLLLL! AHHHHHHHH!" You can hear the screams of Zenon as he was being drowned under the water, and he was trying to get up…but it was of no use. As Roberto and RDJ combined were way too strong for him.
"NOW WHO'S THE ONE WHO'S GONNA FUCKING DIE?!" Roberto called out from above the water, using his talon to close his beak, making sure that he was going to die even faster.
"GUYS?! THIS IS CRAZY! WE ARE NOT KILLERS!" Leo called out in fear as he saw that the harpy eagle was only seconds away from drowning…but RDJ of course wanted to speed up the process to ensure that he was going to die.
He pulled out the machete, and lowered it to Zenon's throat, and without even thinking about it…he quickly sliced his throat underwater. Causing the water in the spring to turn into a bright red colour…as the birds were now bathing in the harpy eagle male's blood.
All three of them quickly jumped out of the hot spring and landed a few feet away, as they began feeling very anxious…especially Roberto after what they just did. "Oh my god…oh my god…we…we killed him?! SHIT! This wasn't the plan!" Roberto began panicking as he dropped to his knees and grabbed his head feathers. As laying in the hot spring in front of them, was now a lifeless, cold dead body. Just floating there in the water, soaking in his own blood.
"Shit…You do realise that you have now dug a bigger hole for yourself now RDJ? What are we going to do now?!" Leo asked in an annoyed tone, and kicked a bush in annoyance as he rubbed his sore forehead from stressing. "Damnit! Now all three of us are in a pig pile of marmoset shit!"
"Okay…not to panic! Right…I say, we just hide the body in the mud bath a few paces away?! If we dump his body in there, there is no way in hell that anyone is going to find him!" RDJ remarked as he got himself ready, but the other two were still slightly in shock. "Come on guys?! We don't have time to fuck about?!"
"Are you for real right now?! YOU KILLED FELIX'S BEST FRIEND AND RIGHT HAND BIRD! YOU…ARE FUCKED!" Leo shouted in annoyance and slapped him on the back of his head, growling at him irritably. "MYSELF, MARTIN AND JACQUELINE SPENT YEARS TRYING TO AVOID FELIX! NOW YOU HAVE NOT ONLY STOLEN HIS LADY, NOW YOU KILLED HIS MAIN ASSOCIATE!"
"Shit…what do we do?" Roberto began panicking, as he saw RDJ lifting up the body with Leo. "I killed him too! Now he's gonna be sending his men after me too!"
"As this stupid dick says, we hide the body! Pretend this never happened! Then meet the others!" Leo argued back as they dragged Zenon's corpse out of the hot spring and onto the jungle floor.
"Hey! I'm not a dick!" RDJ replied as the two of them carried Zenon's dead body to the mud bath on the other side of the area.
"You didn't have to kill him! You are already in enough trouble as it is! If Felix finds out you smoked this guy, he will kill you!"
"I won't give him the chance!"
"BUT YOU…"
"GUYS! WILL BOTH OF YOU JUST SHUT UP AND GET ON WITH IT?!" Roberto helped them carry the body and became very frustrated, because they were already losing a lot of important time.
So after a few more moments of silence, they lifted up the harpy eagle's corpse, and threw it into the mud. Jumping up and down on top of him to make sure that he is pushed inside the mud bath.
"Ummmph! Fucking…Sink…Already!" RDJ groaned with every jump as his body got lower and lower into the depths of the mud.
Finally after a few strong jumps, the body finally disappeared into the dirt, and luckily for the trio of birds, they weren't spotted at all and were in the clear.
"Okay…I think we wasted more time here than we needed to…I wanna see Jacqueline already! Can't we just go now?" Roberto asked anxiously as he washed his talons in the hot springs.
"Yes…let's just go now…last thing I want right now is for us to get killed by that asshole boyfriend of Lila's!" RDJ remarked as he flapped his wings and shot into the air, preparing to leave into the city.
"Great…just remember guys! We cannot tell anyone about this…let's move!" The orange macaw male spoke in a serious tone. As they left the jungle, and departed into the city.
Let's Head To Lila And Jacqueline Now…
Back at the clubhouse, Martin was already trying to set up the karaoke machine for the night that his new friends were going to be joining the for. He was very keen to get the machine up and running, because it had been a while since he had friends over to enjoy this with.
The only annoying thing for him was…due to the fact that they were in a very poor part of the city…they had to set up with very little electricity, that they used from the lights in the club.
"Martin?! We need power for the lights! It's going to be way too dark here!" Lila remarked as she saw the way he was working.
"Oh relax darling! I'm just stealing some power from the human house next door! We will have enough power to get us through the night!" The green winged male responded confidently while waving his wing at her. "Jacqui! Don't turn the power on yet! I still need to connect the cables!"
"What did you say? Did you say turn it on?!" Jacqueline shouted back, because she couldn't really hear what he was saying, as she was all the way on the other side of the room.
"NO! Don't turn on!" The green winged male shouted back, but again the blue spix's female only heard him say the word on.
"What?! Turn on now?!"
"NO! DON'T TURN ON!"
"OKAY I WILL TURN IT ON!"
"NOOO!" Martin bellowed back in the loudest voice possible, but it was already too late. Jacqueline turned the power on and unfortunately for the green winged male, he received a slight electric shock. "GLLLLRRRRRSDDSSSSSSAAAAGGHHHHHBRRRRDDDDD…AHHHHHH!"
Martin ended up shooting backwards quite far and he crashed into the wall, and landed flat on his face on top of the bed in the room.
"Martin?" Jacqueline heard all the commotion from where her gay best friend was, and saw that some of his feathers were burnt, and he was quivering from the electric shock that he had just received from the cables that weren't yet connected. "OH MY GOSH, BESTIE!"
Jacqueline and Lila ran over to the poor injured macaw, and the two of them lifted him up, and dusted him off. Looking at him with fearful expressions. "Martin? Are you okay?" Lila asked in concern, giving him a drink of water.
"That…was…awesome!" Martin beamed as he started shivering a little from the electrical current. But for some reason…he also had something weird on his talons…but Jacqueline instantly knew what it was.
"Martin…did you just…"
"Sorry darling…but that was the kinkiest shit that I've ever done, that was the end result!" Martin sighed in relaxation, and laid back down on the bed.
"Ewwww! At least you had a…satisfying time!" Lila giggled in amusement, as she helped him clean his talons with the water.
"Yeah, maybe even you might get some tonight…if all goes smoothly!" Martin responded in a really feminine tone, and noticed that Lila was slightly blushing. "Oooh, you've been thinking about it!"
"Of course I have! How could I not? I mean…have you seen him?! Even just looking at him…makes me want to…"
"Okay, okay! We get the idea Lila! Hmmm, I wonder where they are? They've been gone for a fairly long time now?" Jacqueline replied quite fearfully as she rubbed her wingtips to show how nervous she was.
"Would you relax Jacqui? They are gonna be here! And when they do get here, we are gonna have the best…night…ever!" Lila remarked as she instantly went to the mirror to check on her appearance, just to make sure that she looks okay! However the black eye was still showing from the night that Felix had slapped her. "Oooh…why hasn't this black eye gone already?!"
"Didn't RDJ say he was going to bring some pond weed for your eye? I gotta say, he has spent more time in the last day and a half checking to see if you are Omar! Than Felix had ever done in the last couple of years or so?" Martin remarked as he got himself up from the bed to stretch his talons.
"Yeah I know…he is literally the best thing to happen to me! I couldn't imagine my life being any better, if he wasn't with me!" The blue female sighed happily, as she did a little twirl in front of the mirror.
Martin and Jacqueline did chuckle a little at the way she was acting. But not because they were feeling like this was an amusing and funny moment! But it was because they have never seen her this happy before! And that was a feeling that Jacqueline wanted for her best friend, since the moment that Felix had become obsessed with her.
"Ahhh…I'm just glad that you are happy Lila…and I'm hoping that RDJ hasn't done anything stupid…"
Ohhh dear…now what did you make of this chapter? RDJ and his friends have now killed not only a very vile gangster, but he was also Felix's best friend and head associate! How do you think he is going to retaliate?! All in good time my friends all in good time! So in the next chapter we will be seeing how RDJ and Roberto get on with the karaoke evening with their new girlfriends. But…we will also get a glimpse of Felix…finding something interesting…see you all soon for the next chapter!
