On the drive back she sat back on the seat, Lounging. Looking down at her body the Black body glove of the netrunner suit was dyed red and reeked of Blood, Sighing she Pulls out her newly acquired Liberty… a gift of the clouds guard, its metal black sheen was pleasing to the eye, its grip was a lovely ivory material, suited her hand just well, speaking of her hands, she glances at the flesh coloured cyberware, the Gorilla arms are only going to get her so far… "Del, Quick pit stop going to visit a Ripper doc… need to get an upgrade", the Delamian pinged in response, its navigation shifting to a ripper in Little China, Vik… the only ripper she trusts.

Night city became a Blur, the Delamian taking many shortcuts on the route, stepping out of the AI taxi into little china, she took a deep breath… It's been so long since she has been here. Taking the back path down into Vik's she wrapped her knuckles against the gate into his clinic, hearing a muffled come in, she steps in seeing the man tweaking his surgical tools "how can I help you?" his audibly heavy voice bringing back a sort of smile "Need an upgrade, Delamain picked you for the job" this was a small lie as she was the one who chose him.

His eyebrow rose, probably seeing her covered in gore and wearing only a netrunner suit, he wordlessly gestured at his chair, stepping over to it she sat, getting comfortable "going need Military-grade" she slid her hand over to him with the credit chit "Roughly about 500k on that" need your top of the shelf gear or better yet the black market chrome" his eyes lit up "I'll leave you enough for new threads…" his words hanging "Valerie" was Valerie's response… choosing her real name so as not to confuse the man when he encounters her other self with Jackie, this is when Vik nods, his hands grab the anaesthetic and she blacked out…

Few hours later.

Vik was done, the anaesthetic wore off and a very nauseous Valerie woke, Vik seeing his patient wake pushed his chair over "well look who woke up" Valerie turned her head at Vik "well as you can see, I gave you what you asked for, your sure your mind can handle this?" Valarie glanced down to her hands, seeing that they were pure red metal, her gaze travelled back to Vik "I can handle it, What did you give me?" he nodded "I gave your gorilla arms an upgrade, they have a projectile launch system, Millitech make, you got a mean sandy so i left that alone, Arasaka ones are hard to come by… your legs how have reinforced tendons… you should be able to dance faster" he winks at his small joke " your internals have been slightly shuffled, you have a second heart… just in case, your arteries are now bio-carbon… and you have subdermal armour that should be able to eat a few AP rounds… I've done you the ease of transferring your remaining eds to your personal link, and a Few Sword techniques as a gift from me" he hands her a training shard "Thanks Vik" was all she said as she got up, "Give 'em hell kid" was all Vik said as she left.

Delamain is still waiting there, ever patient… getting into the taxi she sits down, now sufficiently happy at Vik's work "a quick stop at a clothes shop then back to Gloria." The delamain began its drive.

With Gloria and David.

David was lounging on the couch as Gloria was sleeping, he was reading some new texts from the Arasaka course, it's been a few long hours since the Merc called his mom too damn long for David, he got up and set out for the kitchenette in the apartment when a soft knock came. David opened the door and saw the merc, wearing new clothes and clearly sporting new cyberware "uh… hi?" was all David could mutter, her clothes were a crimson crop top, red tinged grey cargo trousers, heavy black combat boots, and a red jacket with the white light collar, her eyes shined a luminous blue almost glowing in the low light, once black hair had a dipped in crimson look, a feral smirk dancing on her lips "Hey David, right?" he dumbly nodded her now red cyberware arms pushed him back a bit "Need to talk to your mom…" "She's sleeping" she nodded before stepping in and planting herself on the couch "Right it's all to let her know that i've kept my end of the bargain up" "Ah" he stared at her "Oh and David?" he stopped in his tracks "y-yes?" "I'm too old for you" and with that he spat his drink just for his mom coming into the sight of him holding his mouth and the Merc laughing at him.

Gloria sat next to Valarie "Miss V… Thank you" David could see the merc's face soften "Please Gloria call me Valerie and yes that's what I stood for, as for the contract he deserved it…" she leaned forward "Now i'm going to make a few arrangements, You will let me drive david, it gives you a break, another is simple, I'll be staying here but don't worry about rent until get a better accommodation for you and for your son" Gloria was about to argue before Valerie rose her hand "Don't worry, now get some rest" she gestured to the exhausted Gloria

The next morning

Valarie stepped into the main room of the residence, Sleeping in Gloria's bed with the mother as sleeping in David would be awkward for the teen, speaking of the boy she saw him stepping out of the wash room dressed in the uniform, she motioned for him to follow, so he did as they exited the building she stopped at the edge of the path, a black sports car drove up, A rayfield Caliburn… before David could even begin she smirked "Get in" both doors opened to show a black and red interior, it soon that david strapped in and they shot off, his maniac of a driver sped down and reached the city centre in a matter of 10 minutes.

David stepped out of the vehicle panting, Valerie stepped out the otherside laughing. Soon they were outside the Arasaka building, David's bullies coming up with a haughty swagger "Ho, David who's this your paid Girlfriend?" his bullies laughed, David was furious but he glanced at Valerie and his anger was replaced with fear, her face was cold, like a remorseless killer… this terrified him, he rather see her laughing or teasing him not this.

Valerie stepped up to the bullies, she was a touch shorter than Katsuo "Tell me, do you have access to Company files?" in his arrogance he nodded "Yeah why, to see-" "do me a favour and look up Designation: Virtue" she interrupted him, His eyes lit up for a moment and then he visibly paled and glanced down to the slightly shorter woman a dangerous smirk playing at her lips "Run along little Tanaka, Tell daddy Virtue said Hello~" almost pissing himself Katsuo ran into the building.

"What-" he was about to say something before a rainbow haired figure passed them, he cut short seeing a female up on the higher level of the plaza "Go get 'em tiger" was all he heard before the roar of the engine of the caliburn as it shot off.
