A/N: Hey all. Not heard from anyone but got bored so decided to write the new chapter up. So, enjoy.

Gabby was the first to stir as she blinked her eyes open trying to remember where she was through a small headache she had occurred over night. Looking over to the other side of the bed, she could see Shay was still fast asleep curled up in a small ball.

Her mind was a bit blurry what had happened tonight but as she sat up to go to the bathroom, she noticed both herself and Shay was naked. Her mind finally caught up as she realised, she had slept with Shay.

Gabby carefully got out of bed, being careful not to wake Shay as she heads to the bathroom. By the time Gabby had come out from doing her business and having a drink of water Shay was waking up and was now looking Gabby's direction.

"Morning" Gabby spoke first as she walked over to the bed, passing Shay her cup of water before climbing back in bed.

"Morning Gabs" Shay spoke chirpier than she should do in the morning as she accepts the drink, taking a few mouthfuls before nipping to the bathroom herself. Once done she climbs back into the bed facing Gabby.

"I'm so glad I don't have to work today" Gabby smiled to Shay as she didn't want to move very quickly aside from needing to head down for breakfast.

"Same here. I get to finally be able to see wake up with a sexy looking girl and not have to rush round for work" Shay flirted with a wink as she cuddled herself up to Gabby, wrapping her arm around the girl's chest.

Gabby's cheeks flush from the innocent compliment "well maybe we should start off where we finished last night" Gabby replied as she thought to herself '2 can play that game'.

Shay smiled as she climbs on top of Gabby as there lips collided into a passionately heated kiss. Shay used her arms to keep her weight off Gabby as she grinds her hips gently against Gabby's.

As Shay began to kiss Gabby's neck, Gabby's phone goes off. Gabby moaned as she looked at her phone and saw Casey's name come up. She sent Shay a apologetic look as she answers the phone "Hi Matt"

Shay sighed as she layed back next to Gabby as they had there phone call. Casey was clearly asking how Gabby's night was and when she would be back home.

Inside Shay began to feel hurt as she realised Gabby would be heading home and she wouldn't be involved as she made love to Matt Casey and enjoyed her evening together.

Just the thought made tears come to Shay's eyes as she heads for a quick shower. Once inside the shower she allowed her tears fall, hoping Gabby wouldn't hear her.

When Shay came out the bathroom after her shower after drying herself, Gabby was off the phone and looking at Shay, looking at Shay confused.

"Hey is everything ok?" Gabby asked as although Shay had done her best to cover up, she was crying, it failed as Gabby could see her red puffy eyes.

Gabby watched as Shay muffled, she was fine and started to get dressed. Gabby had a quick shower and quickly got ready. Shay was ready to go a bit earlier than Gabby as they put there stuff back in there bags.

"Shay please talk to me" Gabby spoke once they were ready to go for breakfast, walking round to Shay's side.

"Your going to go back to him aren't you?" Shay asked as she sat herself down on the bed, not looking up at Gabby.

"Shay we had fun last night but I'm still in a relationship with Matt. I got to go home to do him." Gabby said gently as she sat herself down next to Shay, rubbing her leg gently.

"Did nothing last night mean anything to you?" Shay looked at Gabby as tears fell down her cheek. She was in love with Gabby more than she had admitted before and it's taken til they had a night away with Gabby and the thought of Gabby going home she finally realised.

Gabby uses her thumb to wipe away Shay's tears as she struggled to handle the heartbreak. Compared to Clarise, she was much more involved in the heartbreak.

"Of course it did Shay. I loved every moment of it. I'm sorry that it's hurting you but you knew all about me and Matt when we went into this last night. I love you Shay." Gabby began to cry herself.

They sat there a good 5 minutes crying before they made there way to breakfast before heading home.

24 HOURS LATER –

Shay had come into work early as Severide had a meeting with the chief and she had gotten a lift. She didn't tell Severide what had happened over the past 24 hours and had spent most of the day doing house chores.

Gabby had spent her last 24 hours at home with Matt enjoying her time. Matt had explained all about what had happened and they had watched the kids at Matt's house.

Shay looked up from doing inventory as she saw the rest of the guys and Gabby walking in to 51. Gabby was hugged into Casey as they walked through, kissing lovingly in front of Shay. It was a good 5 minutes before Shay saw Gabby at the door of the ambulance as she had gone to get ready for work.

Shay looked at her blankly as she climbed on board the ambulance.

"Morning Shay. Need a hand" Gabby asked in a friendly but professional tone. She frowned at the blank expression she got as she got there. She climbed Aboard the ambulance, closing the ambulance door behind her to give them poor privacy.

"If you can peel yourself away from Casey long enough" Shay replied. She was clearly upset as jealousy had creeped up.

Gabby sighed as she grabbed the clipboard off of Shay's lap, setting it aside before crouching down in front of Shay.

"Hey, look at me" Gabby said as she looked into Shay's eyes which was hard considering she was looking down. Gabby had to lift Shay's chin so they could have eye contact.

"Shay I enjoyed our night together and I have feelings for you. But I can't just dump Casey straight away. Even if I did we wouldn't be able to come out straight away due to Casey would know why I dumped him." Gabby leans in and kisses Shay lovingly on the lips.

Shay realised Gabby had a point even if she was upset about it. She kisses Gabby back passionately.

The kiss started to get heated just as the back of the ambulance doors opens. The girls were oblivious of the noise but did hear the voice that followed.

"What's going on?" The person spoke as Gabby and Shay looked back at them.
