Summary: A powerless young 17yr old finally get's what he always wanted and then some. Using his new powers, he decides to do something with himself either being a vigilante or going to UA, but he'll have to contend with someone else who managed to find their way to his universe.
In urban Japan a young American immigrant named Bryant Allen is tired of all the criminal activity and even the bullshit the heroes bring with them like Mt. Lady accidentally smashing things here and there. Everyday he lives in fear and annoyance that anytime, anyplace he walks he could get mugged or killed by a criminal with superpowers or accidentally squashed by a hero. Living on his own he works at a café with a lenient and nice enough boss but not even having a power of his own he wishes he was an equal if only just for protection. Meanwhile, in outer space. "I WANT the Omnitrix", a cuttlefish headed alien demands. The giant taser looking ship blasts at the Star Trek Enterprise type drone in which it finally explodes after all of the damage taken but unexpectedly to the alien, a pod flies out of the wreck immediately and is shot out accidentally into a wormhole. The alien octopus man commands his robots impatiently, "Prepare for boarding"! Back with Bryant he closes up the café, and being the last to leave as always he takes a look up at the stars as he usually does around nighttime to remind himself that there is beauty outside of being powerless. With a brief flash though he sees something coming down from the sky, possibly a shooting star. "Whoa, a meteorite? I might have time to go check it out tonight". But then he realizes and begins to back up, "That thing's coming right over here though", he yells as he starts to run away but too late. The crash sends him flying into the wall of the café, and hard. Managing to sit up and lean on the wall at least he sees the meteorite, except it's no meteorite, but a metal sphere. Bryant's eyes open up as the pods does and a bright glow emits, "Whoa! What the hell is that"? Managing to stand up and curiosity taking hold he walks weakly over to the pod and sees a grey object with black lines around it and a orange button on the bottom. "Is that a wristwatch? I was almost killed by a damn wristwatch", he questions in disbelief. But then he thinks to himself, "No, it can't be a watch, it's probably some kind of alien thing or government project. But…should I take it"? He thinks more to himself, "Well, if I don't, a villain probably will". He decides to take a chance and slowly moves his left arm over to pick it up, but then the thing practically comes to life and latches onto his arm. "What the Hell…. Argh"!
The watch grafts to his wrist, it feels like pin pricks into his veins and soon after he passes out from the pain. Waking up at around midnight he looks to his wrist to see the watch none the worse for wear and his arm intact. He starts trying to remove it to no avail, "Ugh, it's stuck there. I don't even know what it is, and it's permanently attached to me now. Maybe it was a mistake to grab it"? He contemplates, "Maybe someone could get it off for me but…nah, it's alien or something so no one could probably do crap. But wait…maybe this thing could be useful if I can figure out what it does". He examines the high tec device, "Looks like there's a button at the bottom. What happens if I press it"? Doing as such the face of it pops up and forms an hourglass shape, "Huh, cool noise but, that's it"? He presses it back down, but it does nothing, "No numbers or time on it so it's definitely not an actual watch". Pressing it again Bryant takes three fingers and starts turning the popped-up top of which it makes another type of sound. "It moves but still, nothing happens", he complains. As the minutes go by, he decides to just head home the later it gets, "Thank God it's a Friday". The next morning, he wakes up in his apartment. Taking a shower, the watch is surprisingly waterproof. For the next hour he just sits down at his dining table and thinks, "What is this thing for? It doesn't do anything. I've pressed the button, rotated the face but that's all it does is makes beeps and sounds". Meanwhile back in space, the alien's drones come back aboard his ship empty handed. "Where is it", he grabs the robot, "Where"!? It explains, "I'm afraid that the omnitirx is gone sir. From our scans it appears to have been accidentally sucked into a wormhole. It could be anywhere in the galaxy at this time". He tosses it at the wall, "I have NOT wasted all this valuable time and left my planet to go back empty handed. I WILL have the omnitrix, no matter the cost"! One of the robots on the computer console informs him, "Lord Vilgax, we may have a solution. But it too could be quite time consuming". He listens, "You have my attention". The robot goes on, "If we enter the wormhole ourselves, it's a possibility we may end up where the omnitrix was sent". He takes the chance, "Then enter, now".
Back at Bryant's apartment he decides he's wasted enough of his day off and heads outside after breakfast. "No friends, no girlfriends, and all by myself. Just a usual day of a powerless guy". On his journey of the day doing nothing he hitches a ride on the train for a ride when he comes across a young girl who catches his eye, mostly because she looks like a frog. He thinks to himself, "I've seen weird defects from powers, but I don't think I've ever seen a frog one. Her eyes, tongue and even her fingers". Bryant decides to speak with her, "She seems about my age, maybe a couple years younger". Her greets her, "Hi there". Her voice is rather monotone, "Hello". He starts properly, "My name's Bryant Allen. I noticed you stand out from a crowd, so I thought maybe we could talk? I don't talk to many people, and you also seemed pretty isolated yourself over here among all these people". She introduces herself, "My name's Tsuyu Asui, but I like to be called Suu. Yeah, by the way, it is odd being on here alone, but I decided to take a trip before getting into UA". That catches his ear, "That academy, high school place? I have an apartment down the street from there. You're training to be a hero"? The frog girl smiled, "Yeah, I thought I could do some good with my quirk. How about you"? He feels a thud in the train and accidentally leans on her, his left arm touching her, "Sorry about that". She accepts, "It's okay, that happens a lot to me too". Then he hears an automated voice come from his watch, "Mutagen acquired, alien form unlocked". Tsuyu and him both look at it curiously, "It hasn't done that yet", he admits. She looks at him, "Is that watch thing your quirk"? He looks at it, "I, don't know yet". The train finally reaches it's destination, "Well, if it is you could always come to UA like me. Maybe we'll see each other again sometime. Goodbye", she leaves. Later that afternoon Bryant sits in an alley and finally gets the courage to press the button again. "Alright, let's see what that voice was about". Pressing the button, he sees the face is no longer blank and instead has a silhouette of a short, pudgy creature, "Whoa, that's new". With a grin he presses in the face and watches as his arm begins to pulsate, turning puke green, his body rearranging. Unlike how it came on the transformation began aching but not painful otherwise. His bones and skin moving and shaping. His teeth became haphazardly placed with an overbite, his stature became short with a gut, his eyes malformed and finally he could feel his tongue becomes tongues. His voice too changed, "What in the hell? What happened to me"? He looks to his left arm and the watch face has lost everything but the symbol, being grafted onto his arm. He thinks to himself, "Is this, a superpower"? He jumps as high as he can with glee, "Sweet…but, what can this short little thing do"? Just then he feels his stomach growl, "Ugh, haven't eaten lunch yet". Looking at a trashcan it looks oddly appetizing, "I would say yuck but, I can't help it". His mouth almost opens on its own and he engulfs the ENTIRE can with four frog like green tongues. Swallowing the can of garbage his stomach glows, "Mmm, not bad". He then feels it, "Oh, I feel a burp coming on". With a large belch he expels a large plasma ball which explodes another can nearby. Bryant's eyes open wide, "Oh my God…I've got POWERS"!
