Summary: Bryant finishes up the Battle Trial with flying colors while also having a near death experience. Now, he is faced with a horde of villains and nothing but his watch and students for support.
Bryant takes control of the body, all three of his voices now speaking in unison while using this form, "Time to end this quickly". He starts to walk forward slowly, Momo tossing a net over him but he simply walks through it. When she tries a flash bang it does nothing, and then to her desperateness she finally decides to try throwing a baseball bat at him, which literally bounces off. As he reaches her face to face, albeit a bit taller, he speaks to her, "Nothing you do can stop me Momo, I'm sorry. Now, what happens now"? She looks like she's about to cry, "It's only a test". She disagrees, "No, it's not that. I don't care about whether I win or lose this little test, but the fact there's nothing I can do". He let's her continue, "My grades have always been perfect but it took me years to train my quirk, and at the end of the day it's only as useful as I can make it. No zero gravity or explosions, just whatever I can cook up. I used to make matryoshka nesting dolls, and it took me a long time just to make those. Basically if I don't know how something works I can't build it. I just feel...inadequate compared to everyone else". He tries to cheer her up, "You see this form I am right now? I got this one from YOU. If not for you I wouldn't have it, this omnipotence. Even besides that, stop trying to sell yourself short or write off your power. Creation has requirements but it's amazing from the few things I've seen. I mean you can literally create grenades from your skin. But I'll make you a deal". She just listens, "I can turn back right now, and let you capture me or whatever. You'll win the trial, simple. How's that sound"? She rejects it, "No". He's a bit surprised, "Huh"? Momo sticks to her beliefs, "If I can't win on my own what good am I? Here, you're clearly the better hero cut out for this. Like you said, I lose. So I accept defeat". He asks, "But why"? She elaborates on her mindset, "If I win at something, it should be because I earned it. I don't take handouts. It's not who I am, and it's not the right thing to rob someone of a victory. So no". She closes her eyes, "Do what you want from here, I'm ready". While her eyes are closed, he doesn't harm her, but instead walks behind her towards the huge fake bomb and with a wave of his arm, disables the timer. "It's done". Momo reopens her eyes, him turning back to normal, "Okay, let's get our partners and get out of this place". All Might admits to having seen everything through carefully hidden cameras and as the next teams head inside the buildings, he congratulates them. "That was quite the fight you four. You all fought to your best. Unfortunately for you Yaoyorozu and Mineta you did still fail. However this was just a little trial. Let this serve as a reminder how to handle things better next time". While everyone else is doing their part of the trial, Bryant finally gives Momo the whole rundown of the watch. "So Momo, I feel you should know about it. I said I'd explain it so, here it is. I was working at the cafe one night and this metal pod comes crashing right towards me. Long story short it's some kind of alien device from another world or something. Knowing a villain could get it for all I knew I put it on and it latched onto my arm. The pain was the worst thing I've ever felt in my life...it's like it recoded my DNA". She is intrigued as he goes on, "So I press this button on the bottom here and the faceplate pops up with any of the 'alien' forms I've unlocked. At first I had nothing but then it like, scanned Tsuyu over there and gave me some kind of bipedal toad that can eat things, kind of like the bear trap mouthed one you saw. Point is, certain people I touch give me a new form, so it's a bit like having hand fulls of powers". Momo seems enthralled, "That's amazing. Were you even born with a quirk though"? He admits, "Nope. This little thing was my ticket into here. Honestly I have no regrets so far". Momo notes the 'alien' thing though, "So, aliens"? He nods, "Yeah. What, you don't believe"? She shrugs, "it's possible but I never really gave it thought". He gives his own thoughts, "Well in a world of superpowered people I don't see why aliens wouldn't exist". At the end of the day him and the others part ways, while he heads to the dorms to sees Eri then retire to his apartment. Over the course of the next couple days not much happens other than that him, Momo and Tsuyu get along rather well, being the closest things he has to friends. One Thursday night though something notable happens, as he almost drowns. Walking along the road by the water during sunset he accidentally slips on a piece of loose concrete, falling into the water, and while he can swim it's not very well. The high tide sweeps him up as he gasps for air but as he is about to lose consciousness from lack of oxygen he reads the name of a big ship that luckily comes by, "The Oki Mariner"? With barely any breath left he begins to feel his chest being shoved on until he finally coughs up the water. Staring up he sees a blue haired girl and a large seal man with a beard and goggles on his head.
"Are you okay there son"? Bryant sits up, "Ugh, did you two save me"? He happily nods, "My first mate here, Sirius, resuscitated you just now. While I, Selkie you can call me, jumped in after you. Luckily the Oki Mariner was making its rounds while you were struggling against the current". He spits up a little more water, "Thank you two for saving my life. Is there anything I can do to repay you"? They refuse, "No payment needed, it's our job", says Sirius proudly. "That's right", Selkie concurs. "Oh, by the way. That watch you're wearing said something about mutagen when I was rescuing you. Just thought I'd let you know, in case it got busted". Checking up on that he presses the button and the silhouette shows one cool looking form, a humanoid angler fish. Selkie informs him, "We'll be reaching the docks in a bit. You can get off there. If you need anything I'll be steering the ship back there". He goes over to Sirius who is watching the sunset, "So, what's your power"? She indulges him, "Good Ear I call it. Let's me listen to higher frequencies people like you can't hear usually. These fin shaped devices on the sides of my head amplify it even more so I can communicate with Selkie even when he's farther from me or underwater". Bryant respects that, "Not a combat power but good to hear you get use out of it. How'd you meet anyways"? She happily tells her story, "I interned at many places but like you said, most people just want the practical quirks. But with the Captain's own aquatic quirk I finally found a place I feel I belong. All the chores are a bit of a drag though, but that's part of the upkeep of a big ship. At least I'm not the only one on board to do it". The horn toots, "Alright, we should be at the docks in a minute. Good talking with you". They shake hands, "Likewise". The next day, things go pretty much the usual way, except this time at the end of the day all the students are sent with Aizawa and the astronaut woman Thirteen he saw his first time here, to a new location the latter cooked up for rescue training; a giant dome. "Alright cadets, I'd like to introduce to my pride and joy, the Unforeseen Simulation Joint". Everyone except Bryant speaks in unison, "Like Universal Studios Japan", which he thinks is kind of weird, "Okay, who cares"? Thirteen goes on, Come with me inside and I'll show you what your class will be like today. Going inside even he is in awe, "Jesus this place is massive"! Astronaut woman seemingly rather proud of it, "Thank you Allen. Now as for the class, this 'USJ' will be a training ground mostly dedicated to civilian rescues. There are 6 zones to simulate just about any situation. The Ruins Zone, Landslide Zone, Mountain Zone, Flood Zone, Downpour Zone and even a Conflagration Zone". She gets to the point, "So here's the situation, each group of students will be placed into one of 6 zones and then…", she is cut off as Bryant's eyes wander, "Uh ma'am, sorry to interrupt. But what the Hell is that"? A black mass opens up in the middle of the dome, and out comes dozens of people leads by someone with hands on his face and even some kind of mutant with an exposed brain. Everyone's attention turns to him, "Hello UA. I have come for one thing. Your symbol of peace, All Might". Everyone gives him a glare except the teacher, though she probably can't, "You realize you have just infiltrated one of the most advanced heroic schools in the country"? He laughs, "Yes, and how easy it was. Just needed the itinerary. While the other day you were all distracted by the reporters, I snuck in with ease thanks to my second in command here. But enough of that. Will you willingly give him up or will we be forced to search"? Bryant looks at everyone's faces, varying from unphased, to nervous, to Izuku being almost scared shitless. Within a second it's a war zone, with electricity, ice and even black holes among everything being thrown around. Before he can do anything himself though, the giant black mass of fog basically eats up the whole class, separating the teachers from the students. Disoriented, he finds himself on top of a big boat in the middle of the Flood Zone with Izuku, Mineta, Tsuyu and that blush girl who's named Ochaco. Bryant calls everyone over to him, "Hey guys, what happened"? They huddle, Tsuyu speaking up, "Well I assume we were teleported by the black mass that engulfed us, but otherwise not sure". Izuku speaks up, "They're after All Might, we have to stop them"! Allen puts a hand on his shoulder, "Cool your jets man. We've got to fend for ourselves right now, then we can focus on saving others. Besides, the No.1 Hero isn't going to go down even with dozens of villains. He took down All For One, remember"? Bryant's watch then flashes, 'Mutatgen acquired, master control enabled'. He is just as confused as the others about it, "That watch of your sure is messed up", says the dwarf. "Yeah well, this watch is what I need for powers so I need to take a look at it. You guys let me know if you think of anything". He cycles through the forms, "Everything seems fine, but what did it". Suddenly an 'Intellectual' alien shows up like a hologram, "So, if you're hearing this, it seems you've enabled the Master Control feature. It's rather simple, once you transform you may quick change from that one to another without turning back. You can either think it or press the Omnitrixes' symbol wherever it may be on said form. If you need to hear this advice again, say 'Master Control'. Before he can even question it the hologram disappears, "Wait". Ochaco walks over to him, "Hi there. We might have an idea to get off safely. I can use my quirk to get us to float over to land two at a time. Tsuyu says she'll swim". Bryant agrees to it, "Sounds good. So, just to make conversation since we haven't really met. I'm Bryant Allen". She is quite polite, "Ochaco Uraraka".
"I hear good things about your friendliness. Why do you want to be a Hero? Heck, what's your power"? She answers one question, "Zero Gravity, it lets me touch things and have them float. I even use it on Deku a couple of times to save him". He asks, "Who's Deku"? She blushes a little but he can almost hardly tell, "Oh, Midoriya. That's what Bakugo nicknamed him and I guess he stuck with it. To me, I think it's kind of cute despite the meaning. He likes it at least". He did notice though, "You didn't answer my other question though. Why be a Hero"? She rubs the back of her head, "I really don't want to say really. It's not very noble". He understands, "Okay, how about I go first? It kind of sucks, but I want it as a profession not just to be better at not destroying people's lives on accident from collateral damage. But also to make more money. I work at a cafe, so I basically live off of bananas and fast food, sushi, rice and the like. It sucks". Ochaco widens her eyes at that, "So...you're doing this for money"? He regrets admitting it a little, "I know I sound like a dick for it but that's how finances go. I turn 18 soon so I need what I can get even more. But what about you"? She sighs, "Honestly, hearing what you said, my goal is the same". He's intrigued, "Really? What do you need the money for"? She opens up but quietly, "I've only told Tenya and Deku besides you right now. But I want to be able to support my family. My father is a construction worker but can't seem to land much work. Jeez, it's so bad I sleep just to avoid eating sometimes". Bryant seems glad to hear someone with similar goals, "Well, I hope you get what you're after. I can sympathize, so, really, good luck". She appreciates it, "Thanks. Well, let's get started getting off this tub huh? Villains in the USJ after all". Huddling together she gets ready to levitate a couple of them but then the boat rocks, "What was that", says Mineta nervously. A man who looks like the Creature from the Black Lagoon pops his head up, along with another guy wearing a kind of domino mask, "I'm sick of waiting, Tomura won't care. Let's kill them now", the fish man pleads to the other guy. "Alright, but it's your head if things go south". With an evil grin, the fish man forms a giant hand and smashes one side of the boat, shaking the whole thing. Toying with them he keeps it up until Ochaco loses her balance and falls overboard. Jumping out of the water he drags her underwater, her arms flailing and failing to touch him or herself to float out. "Ochaco", Bryant yells concerned. Izuku goes to dive in but Bryant stops him, "No. You, Tsuyu and Mineta handle the guy with the spear once he gets up here. I'll take the monster down there. I've got someone special in mind for this". He brings up the angler fish and slams down the faceplate. His skin grows scaly, his feet and hands gaining claws and webbing. His neck splits into gills and a lure grows out of his forehead. The final touches come with his eyes turning purple for better vision in the water and most importantly his mouth becomes very large, huge fanged teeth replacing his normal human ones and even sticking out of his maw. "*Rawr*"! His voice is deeper and dry sounding, "If I'm not back in five minutes just assume I'm dead. As for myself, it's time to go fishing". He dives in with a big splash, his legs turning into a black mermaid tail to enable faster swimming. Heading deeper into the water he sees the fish man still dragging down Ochaco who has becomes unconscious. Not seeing behind him, naturally, Bryant slugs him in the back of the head, grabbing Uraraka in both arms and swimming towards the surface as fast as he can. The fish man gives chase and forms claws around his own hands from water to cut Allen across the chest, causing him to drop the girl. The villain kicks him away and starts moving his arm outstretched into a circular motion, creating a little whirlpool. Desperately, Bryant uses his tail to swim away but the pull is too strong, spinning him around like a washing machine, while Ochaco sinks. Getting an idea he pretends to go unconscious himself in hopes the whirlpool will stop. It works and the fish man swims over to him. Opening up his eyes he grabs him by the leg, and with his huge jaws, chomps down on his leg, breaking the bone. "Aah", his muffled scream goes. While screaming Bryant slashes him across his own chest and with another chomp bites into his arm, "Good luck swimming with one of each you fuck". With him incapacitated for the moment he swims down to Ochaco again and drags her to the surface, resting her on the shore. He begins trying CPR by pressing her chest, "Come on, breath". Breath damn you. A couple minutes is better than five". Finally he has no choice and turns back to avoid the teeth injuring her. He presses his lips against his and starts blowing air into her mouth, still pressing her chest too. Izuku's mouth drops, "Uhhhhhh". Within another thirty seconds he starts to give up, but he gives one last push to her chest, and, "*cough*, cough, cough". He sits her up, "Are you okay"? She opens her eyes more, "I think so...did you save me"? He smiles, "Yeah, I did". She says weakly, "Thanks". He notices his watch speak again, 'mutagen acquired, alien form unlocked'. Izuku comes running over along with Tsuyu and Mineta, "They'll take care of you, okay? I need to go and see what I can do to help everyone else". He remembers, "Oh, but first". Turning back into the same alien, he names 'Fish Freak', he leaps back into the water and grabs the writhing villain, throwing him hard out of the water and onto the ground before leaping out himself, "You guys take care of this catch for me. Hope I see you once this is over". Turning back he runs off to the Downpour Zone, but not without touching the fish man out of curiosity. The watch says much the same, granting him two new forms. On his way to the smaller dome he takes a look at the silhouettes. One is a huge being made of rock and the head in its chest, while the other is a humanoid with some kind of shell.
