(Ember and Alain points at the screen as it zooms out. Mightyena, Shula, Sceptile, Percy and Tesla come running out a cloud of smoke behind Ember and Alain. Tesla launches a Thunderbolt attack, and it hits a forest causing smoke everywhere)

Walking down this endless highway

(Ember, Alain and Tesla are running across a grassy field towards the rising sun)

With nothing but my friends beside me

(Brock is prancing around a bunch of colorful cutouts of women with hearts in his eyes as he carries a boutique of flowers. He kneels down in front of a red one. The cutout flips to reveal Munchlax who chomps on the flowers. Brock cries. May and Max shrug.)

We'll never give in, we'll never rest

(May throws a Pokéball. Drew and Harley are split behind her. Munchlax, Combusken, and Squirtle run across the screen. Combusken stops and Squirtle launches a Water Gun attack at Combusken.)

Advanced Battle is the ultimate test

(Groudon launches an attack. Kyogre rises up from the sea. Mew flies by. Suicune, Raikou, and Entei jump on the stone columns as they're being hit. Latias and Latios fly besides them. Rayquaza flies out from the smoke)

From the earth, the land
The sea and sky

(Grass, Psychic, Ice, and Normal type Pokémon are playing around a forest. Celebi flies by. Water Pokémon are swimming in the ocean with some Flying type Pokémon flying over them. Fire, Flying, Ground, Electric and Dark type Pokémon are running across the fields.)

They can never win, but they sure can try

(Tesla slams into Registeel. Percy slams into Regice. Regirock launches a Thunderbolt attack and it misses Ember and Alain. Ember and Alain salutes with two fingers as they smile)

(Jessie, James, Wobbuffet, Dustox, Meowth, Seviper, Cacnea, Chimecho and Mime Jr. dance in sync. Weavile passes by them which surprises them)

(Mimey, Delia, Prof. Oak, Prof. Birch, Tracey, and Misty with her Azurill appear)

(Ember, Alain and Tesla are standing on top of a ruin and camera zooms out as they look towards the sky. Deoxy flies past them.)

From the stars and the ancient past

(Deoxy flies with Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. Ho-Oh flies past them.)

(The silhouette of Lucy appears followed by Tucker and then Spenser)

(Noland, Greta and the silhouettes of the other Battle Frontier Brains appear with the Battle Frontier Symbol behind them. Ember and Alain are in facing against them.)

(Team Rocket is digging a tunnel. Then they're running away from a pack of Aron and Lairon who are chasing them.)

(Sebastian uses Bubblebeam. Tantor unrolls himself. Sceptile uses Leaf Blade. Percy uses Aerial Ace. Ember, Alain and Tesla jump high in the air as Ember punches her fist in the air.)

The gang was on the way to Lavender Town for the next Pokémon contest. The day after the Silver Contest was over, May's Caterpie had evolved into Metapod. Right now, they had come to a big lake.

"Wow what a lake." Max commented.

"I bet a lot of water Pokémon are living here." May added.

"Are you all planning adoption?" A female voice called out.

The gang turned to the voice. They saw an old woman and a young woman coming over to them.

"Uh, who are you?" Max asked.

"Oh, I'm Galea and this is my granddaughter, Tiffany." 'Galea' introduced herself and her granddaughter.

"Hi there." Tiffany greeted.

Brock was instantly in front of Tiffany and held her hands in his, "It's an honor to meet such a beauty such as-"

Max interrupted Brock by grabbing his ear and started pulling him, "Well it would an even greater honor if you would just stop flirting."

"OW! My ear!" Brock yelped.

"So do you know where we are?" Ember asked, changing the subject.

"You're actually at the Lavender Adoption Center." Galea replied.

"Lavender Adoption Center?" May asked.

"It's a place where all abandoned Pokémon are placed. We give them all the care they need to recover. Then they'll be up for adoption." Galea explained.

"I see." Alain understood.

"Can we see the Pokémon?" May asked.

"Of course, right this way." Galea instructed.

A few paces ahead of them was a medium sized building that read 'Lavender Adoption Center' on it.

"Wow, so this is an adoption center?" Max questioned.

"Yup. The Pokémon are right this way." Tiffany directed the gang.

Tiffany led the gang into a room where there all kinds of Pokémon playing with toys of all sorts.

"Awwe, how cute!" May squealed.

"These Pokémon are all up for adoption?" Max questioned.

"Yes, they're all waiting to be taken to a forever home." Tiffany answered.

"Can we play with them?" May asked.

"Sure. That would be great." Tiffany replied.

Then Tiffany walked over to the Pokémon, "Everyone," The Pokémon stopped what they were doing and looked up at Tiffany, "These people here are looking for adoption. So be on your best behavior."

The Pokémon trilled happily.

"Go on." Tiffany gestured the gang to head on in.

So, the gang walked in.

May was playing with a Growlithe who really seemed to like her along with a Ducklett and a Deerling (Spring Form), Max with another Growlithe, and Ember with a Magby. Alain was petting a Slugma and an Abra and Brock was playing with a Dwebble.

"I see you found the ones you want to adopt." Galea commented.

"Yeah, I really like him." Max beamed as Growlithe snuggled against him.

"You're all welcome to check out the lake, if you want." Galea offered.

"That would be great." May beamed and turned to Growlithe, Ducklett, and Deerling, "You want to come?" She asked.

The trio trilled happily.

So they followed May outside.

"Looks like your friend found some new friends to join her." Galea commented.

"May enjoys gaining new friends to add to her team." Ember stated.

"She's come a long way when it comes to Pokémon." Brock added.

"I have to agree. She's no longer nervous around them." Max admitted.

Suddenly they heard a scream coming from outside. Everyone quickly got outside and saw Team Rocket's Meowth balloon. Attached to the basket was May, Ducklett, Growlithe, Deerling, and a Corsola in a capsule.

"May!" Everyone screamed.

Team Rocket laughed tauntingly again.

"Natsu, Air Slash on the capsule!" Ember releases her Fire/Flying type.

Natsu roared as he appeared and used Air Slash to break the rope attached to the capsule. Then Natsu caught the capsule before it could fall to the ground.

"Charizard, use Flamethrower!" Alain released his Charizard.

Charizard roared and used Flamethrower on Team Rocket who yelped in pain. Natsu gently placed the capsule on the ground.

"Dragon Pulse!" Ember and Alain ordered in unison.

Natsu and Charizard launched their attack at Team Rocket again which caused the balloon to explode and sent them further into the sky.

"Another plan, failed." James whined.

"I hate those twerps!" Jessie growled.

"I don't think I want get adopted." Meowth commented.

Wobbuffet appeared and saluted, "Wobba!"

The trio sighed in defeat.

"WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" The trio screamed as they disappeared across the sky.

And so, the gang had adopted some new Pokémon onto their teams. Ember adopted a Magby. Alain adopted a Slugma and Abra. Brock adopted a Dwebble. May adopted a Growlithe, Ducklett, Deerling, and a Corsola. Max adopted Growlithe. Tiffany and Galea were happy for the gang who adopted the Pokémon of their choice. Today had been quite a day for the gang.
