Summary: Finished up with the Conflagration Zone, to his relief, Bryant sets out for the Ruins Zone next. He meets more people to become close to but also meets his rival. Along the way he collects three more forms, including a unique one.
Note: This whole 5 line max thing is okay with me. Too bad the anonymous doesn't have an account because I can't even respond to the 'review'. But minus the initial rudeness, thanks for the simple tip, plus it does work for me since I don't have to dig in, in case I need to find a detail to remind myself about.
"Well, for my next stop I'll head for the Ruins Zone. Should be fun", Bryant concludes. Eijiro asks, "So you're just gonna leave us? Just like that"? He shrugs it off, "You two are badasses, and he has two powers in one. You'll be fine". Kirishima agrees, "I know that. I was just hoping you'd stick around". Bryant jokes, "Well if you get hot you've got a human air conditioner with you so it won't be too bad. Anyways, I've got to go. Hope to see you two again". Exiting the zone of Hell, he heads towards the Ruins Zone, clutching his watch close in the eventuality he needs it.
Arriving at the Ruins Zone, it's just that, which means collateral is of no consequence, but unfortunately the USJ as a whole is still too small for the use of Mass. Once inside the boundaries he is immediately set upon by a person with scythes for hands and slug eyes. Before he can have a chance to select an alien, an acid ball slugs slug man in the eye, "Argh, it burns". Ice skating on a stream of acid from her feet, the pink skinned girl slides over and socks him in the other eye before circling around like a ballerina and uppercutting him into slumberland.
"That was fun. You okay", she looks to him. "Yeah, just a little caught off guard. Great entrance. Your costume is ugly though". She frowns, "Pfft, no taste for style, huh"? He bickers, "Hey, nothing says fashion like a T shirt, wind pants and sneakers. But a pink and green camo dress"? She turns her head away, "Fine, I guess we can agree to disagree. Now, have you seen Kirishima"? Allen is a bit surprised, "Well I guess you guys have been friends a long time if he's your first thought. But yeah, I just met him in the Conflagration Zone. He's fine". She seems happy with that answer, "Good. I wouldn't admit it out in the open, but I care for the guy, he's a softy under all that armored skin".
Bryant stretches his arm out to shake, "So you must be Mina Ashido. Nice to properly meet you. *under his breath* Despite the Hero outfit". She takes it, "Bryant, right? Nice to meet you too. You're the one with multiple quirks. I have to give it to you, cool power. A but like All for One, except you know, not evil". His watch speaks from the handshake, 'mutagen acquired, alien form unlocked'. "Well now it's even cooler thanks to you. You just earned me another power". He pops up the faceplate, "You didn't just take my quirk did you"? He shakes his head, "No, I just got a scan of your DNA, or power. Either way now I get a similar power myself, that's how this thing works". She watches him fiddle with the watch, "Oh, sweet. So, can I see how it works"?
He gives her the chance, "Yeah, sure". He cycles over to the new silhouette, a malformed humanoid with a tiny UFO on top its tipped head. "Here it goes". Pressing down the watch, he feels physically ill for a moment as his entire body structure is broken down. His bones and everything else melt into a puddle of green goo on the ground as the saucer form the picture manifests out of the goo and forms him back into shape. His eyes are slanted and pupiless, his arms and legs elongated, even his head. Lastly his shoulder gets a 'spike' shaped deformity and his head tipped like it's pointing to the saucer, possibly connecting the two.
Mina looks impressed, "Wow! Doesn't that hurt"? He responds, his voice now gurgled, "It aches, sometimes real bad. But I'm pretty sure after the first time I transform into a form, the times after that I can't feel anything honestly". Ashido is curious, "So, what can this one do"? He is enthusiastic, "Well, considering I got it from you, I'm probably acidic. I'm eager to find out". He looks at one of the dilapidated lamp posts and stretches out his arms and with that, two streams of acid from each arm, spray out onto the object, completely liquefying it. "Badass", he smiles in his head, as he is without a mouth. Mina wonders, "If I punch you, you could melt my hand"? He asks, "Want me to find out"? She shakes her head of course, so he reaches down and touches the road, "Well, I guess I only melt things if I want to. Handy".
He decides to turn back for the time being, "Better recharge my batteries and learn it on the fly, than to be unprepared for a fight". She asks him about that, "What do you mean"? Bryant let's her know, "Unlike many powers, including yours. Mine has lots of variety but I have a time limit to how long I can be in a form. So anyways, want to team up? You seem like a cool chick, and it's better to have help than be out here on our own". She accepts, "Sure". He is pleased, "Cool. So, I name each of my forms. You want to come up with one for me? The one I just got". She ponders, "How about, 'The Blob'? He likes it, "Sounds good. Let's go".
Unfortunately, nothing good lasts forever, as he encounters the school bully, Katsuki. The spiky haired rebel is seen in front of them as they hang back and watch. He is fighting a bull man with a cyclops eye, and with the multiple explosions he's throwing at the villain, he goes down after about 20 even being a bulky individual. Once dispatched, Bakugo's mutual displeasure shows as his face goes from smiling to grimacing, "Great, I just had to see you here". Bryant responds equally as thrilled, "Don't flatter yourself. As for myself I guess it was only a matter of time before I saw you in one of these zones. Speaking of which I bet you've stayed here this whole time. I've actually been wandering USJ to help our classmates. Can you say the same"?
He grumbles, "Whatever", then looks to Mina, "How about you, goop for brains? You actually using your quirk to take done bad guys? It's the least you can do considering your education is crap". She stands up for herself, "As a matter of fact, yes. I even took down one a few minutes ago without help. So there". Katsuki is less than impressed, shocker, "One villain notched is nothing. Even if you've gotten more with help from someone, it hardly counts". Bryant is about to sock him but restrains himself, "Are you an asshole to everyone? I mean, really? Even rude to women. That's low, but I shouldn't expect much". Before the infighting can escalate further, a guy wearing a grin a mile long and having the most punchable face imaginable comes walking over.
"You ladies done bickering"? Bakugo turns to the guy, "Shut your face Sero, or I'll do it for you". Mina adds, "How long were you watching us"? He puts his hands up, "Hey, I got here and just sat back watching Katsuki. A bit longer than you two". The aforementioned criticizes him, "You were just standing there and didn't give me any backup"?! Bryant points out, "I thought you said it's not worth beating a villain if you have help"? He clarifies, in his endless string of bullshit, "There's a difference between someone watching my back, and having a partner. I could've been ambushed from behind, and this guy wasn't doing anything".
Allen interjects, "Listen, who are you", he asks the smiling guy. "Hanta Sero. What, am I that forgettable"? Mina looks around, "So is there anybody else who wants to make themselves known"? The pretty boy pops up, "Just me, the one and only, Yuga Aoyama". Bryant sighs, "Okay, so that makes five of us. Now, are we going to do something about the villains in the Ruins Zone"? Ashido agrees, "Yeah, I second that. We're really not getting anywhere just standing here. So, how about a group team up"? Everyone agrees, except Katsuki who hesitates, "I've been fine without you losers. I'll go off on my own. Besides, four of you clowns should be able to take out at least ONE criminal on your own". With that, he leaves, to everyone's relief really.
"So, looks like we need a leader for this little team. I vote Mina", he says. Yuga agrees, "Why not". Sero doesn't seem to care either way, "Eh, how about you"? Mina gets the last say, "Yeah, I'm with Sero. You're the one with the watch thing. That mean you've got more quirks so, I think you'd be good at taking charge". He is flattered, "Thanks Mina. You sure though"? She shrugs, "It really doesn't matter but you're a hell of a lot better than Bakugo. At least you're cooperative". He takes point, "Okay, let's find some bad guys". Bryant decides to chat with Hanta, "So, you like UA"?
He answers truthfully, "It's a 'prim and proper' kind of place, but it's definitely more interesting than middle school. For one, I can use my quirk freely. Two, hot chicks man". Bryant admits, "Yeah, I get what you mean. You know that girl, Momo. I think I have a thing for her". He gives him a friendly punch to the shoulder, "Heh heh, that girl with the large rack and straight A's? Yeah, I feel you man". He changes the subject, "So, what's your power"? He shows him his elbows, "See these dispensers on my arms. Tape. I can eject enough of the stuff to stick to places, swing from buildings and even trap people or fling things". Bryant likes it, "So like Spiderman"? Sero asks, "Who"? Allen frowns a little, "What, don't you read comic books"? He admits, "No one reads comics anymore man, those are outdated. We've got the real deal nowadays with All Might and Endeavor".
He gives up on conversation, "Yeah, sure". Walking back to the front of the three he sneaks a touch of Hanta's arm, 'mutagen acquired, alien form unlocked'. He takes a look at the silhouettes again, and sees a monkey with six appendages, "Hm". With a hit of the watch he definitely feels the aches with this one. His spine bends a bit and he is forced onto his knees. His skull reshapes into that of a money as it juts out forward like a neanderthal. The spine extends into a curved tail while his skull rearranges by adding two extra eye sockets. The knees themselves bend a little and lastly and most painfully, his arms literally split apart into two sets.
"Ooo ooo, cool. Now I get Spiderman powers". Hanta jokes, "So you're a 'spider monkey' now huh"? He looks behind at him, "Ha, real hilarious". He goes over to a building and starts to scale the walls horizontally while the others still follow, "I think less spider monkey and more, 'Stickler', is appropriate". They finally come across a villain as he or she comes walking through the ruins carrying a huge steel beam on their shoulders, "Oh, well looky what I've got here". Bryant asks the obvious, "Who are you"? 'He' smiles, "You can call me Magne kid. Now before you ask what I'm going to do, I'll tell you I'm going to get some practice killing UA students. By myself if I have to".
The drag queen uses 'his' power, and a blue aura surrounds the guys and a pink one emerges from Mina. Within a moment they are all pulled towards her like a sandwich, "Hey, ooo, I don't mind being close to you Ashido, but this is too much". Trying to pull themselves off each other it's no use, Magne laughing at the display. "Now, that you're stuck together, you'll be bludgeoned together. Hold still". 'He' comes barreling over with the large beam. Turning back into himself and turning to face Magne to protect the others from the brunt of the hit he goes to pick Orbital but with the struggling, Hanta's big elbow accidentally jabs Bryant, making him cycle to the moth humanoid on mistake as he goes to hit the faceplate.
His feet extend into 'talons' of a heel and two toes, his limbs decreasing in mass to become much thinner. The mouth becomes a large AC basically, replacing the teeth with a constantly open 'vent', his eyes becoming compound like an insect's. He feels his chest extend and his for better or worse he no longer feels his penis. Lastly, his skin extends into four moth like wings before wrapping him up like clothes. Everyone suddenly shivers and within a moment Bryant flies up away from the still combined together three. He notes, "What changed"? Magne's jaw drops as Bryant spreads 'his' wings and reveals the new body, "Wait, my voice is different, softer". Looking down he gasps, "Whoa". He now has breasts and a vagina, both exposed. Feeling embarrassed, she covers herself, "This is so weird, but I'm betting even as a woman I can still kick your ass".
