(Ember and Alain points at the screen as it zooms out. Mightyena, Shula, Sceptile, Percy and Tesla come running out a cloud of smoke behind Ember and Alain. Tesla launches a Thunderbolt attack, and it hits a forest causing smoke everywhere)

Walking down this endless highway

(Ember, Alain and Tesla are running across a grassy field towards the rising sun)

With nothing but my friends beside me

(Brock is prancing around a bunch of colorful cutouts of women with hearts in his eyes as he carries a boutique of flowers. He kneels down in front of a red one. The cutout flips to reveal Munchlax who chomps on the flowers. Brock cries. May and Max shrug.)

We'll never give in, we'll never rest

(May throws a Pokéball. Drew and Harley are split behind her. Munchlax, Combusken, and Squirtle run across the screen. Combusken stops and Squirtle launches a Water Gun attack at Combusken.)

Advanced Battle is the ultimate test

(Groudon launches an attack. Kyogre rises up from the sea. Mew flies by. Suicune, Raikou, and Entei jump on the stone columns as they're being hit. Latias and Latios fly besides them. Rayquaza flies out from the smoke)

From the earth, the land
The sea and sky

(Grass, Psychic, Ice, and Normal type Pokémon are playing around a forest. Celebi flies by. Water Pokémon are swimming in the ocean with some Flying type Pokémon flying over them. Fire, Flying, Ground, Electric and Dark type Pokémon are running across the fields.)

They can never win, but they sure can try

(Tesla slams into Registeel. Percy slams into Regice. Regirock launches a Thunderbolt attack and it misses Ember and Alain. Ember and Alain salutes with two fingers as they smile)

(Jessie, James, Wobbuffet, Dustox, Meowth, Seviper, Cacnea, Chimecho and Mime Jr. dance in sync. Weavile passes by them which surprises them)

(Mimey, Delia, Prof. Oak, Prof. Birch, Tracey, and Misty with her Azurill appear)

(Ember, Alain and Tesla are standing on top of a ruin and camera zooms out as they look towards the sky. Deoxy flies past them.)

From the stars and the ancient past

(Deoxy flies with Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. Ho-Oh flies past them.)

They come to play, but they'll never last

(The silhouette of Lucy appears followed by Tucker and then Spenser)

(Noland, Greta, Tucker and the silhouettes of the other Battle Frontier Brains appear with the Battle Frontier Symbol behind them. Ember and Alain are in facing against them.)

(Team Rocket is digging a tunnel. Then they're running away from a pack of Aron and Lairon who are chasing them.)

(Sebastian uses Bubblebeam. Tantor unrolls himself. Sceptile uses Leaf Blade. Percy uses Aerial Ace. Ember, Alain and Tesla jump high in the air as Ember punches her fist in the air.)

After leaving Celadon City, the gang was on their way for Fuchsia City. The next battle facility, the Battle Pike, was located just outside Fuchsia City. Right now, they had come to a bridge that leads to Fuchsia City. But there was a problem; the bridge was closed. Officer Jenny explained that there was a mudslide from the weather last night, so they couldn't cross the bright. But there was a foot path they could walk through to get to Fuchsia City, so the gang decided to take the foot path.

"This doesn't make sense," May pondered, "I mean I know we have terrible rain last night. But surely it wouldn't have been bad enough to cause a mudslide, could it?"

"Well, you can never tell with weather." Brock commented.

Ember had hoped they would be able to cross the bridge to travel on bikes, but they couldn't argue with the police about it.

Suddenly Tesla started to run into the forest.

"Hey Tesla, what's wrong?" Ember called out.

The gang started to run after Tesla, but then they got stopped by a Plusle. Then a girl with teal hair and red eyes, and wearing a red jacket, white shirt, black shorts, black socks and red shoes came up to the gang. Ember recognized this girl, it was Pokémon Ranger, Solana.

"Go back," Solana ordered, "no one is allowed to pass this point."

"It's a Pokémon Ranger." Max gasped.

"Pokémon Ranger?" May asked.

"Pokémon Rangers are people who protected nature and Pokémon from danger, especially from poachers and other bad people like that." Alain replied.

Ember explained to Solana about Tesla running off into the forest. Solana picked up something that looked like a mobile phone and spoke to someone.

"A Raichu have gone over the line and their trainers are here as well as some friends." she informed. A minute later she got off the phone. "So who are all of you?" she asked the gang.

The gang introduced themselves.

As usual, Brock appeared in front of Solana and held her hands in his, "And my name is Brock! I know this place is off limits, but don't let your love be as well." He flirted with blushed cheeks.

Max grabbed Brock's ear and started pulling him away, "Out of bound. Tesla isn't the only one over of the line."

"And you are?" Ember asked, changing the subject.

"My name's Solana," Solana introduced herself, "and this Plusle is my partner." Plusle jumped onto her shoulder, "The Ranger Union said you can move on to search for your Raichu. Follow me."

The gang was following Solana in the forest.

"Excuse me Solana," Ember spoke up, "but are the Pokémon rangers' people who go around protecting nature, humans and Pokémon a like?"

"That's right Ember," Solana confirmed, "and we use wild Pokémon to help us."

"Interesting." Alain commented.

Then they had to stop when they came across some giant thorny vines.

"This is the work of a Celebi." Ember concluded, recognizing the vines.

"You're right, Ember, these vines are from a Celebi." Brock confirmed.

"Wait, you lot know about Celebi?" Solana asked.

Ember and Brock explained they had met Celebi before, and they even told her that Ember had a Celebi of her own. May and Max admitted to Solana that they spoke the truth because they had seen Ember's Celebi.

"I hope you didn't catch it against its will, Ember." Solana said, cautiously.

"Oh no, no, no," Ember denied, "Moriko asked me herself to be captured. And I would never ever capture legendary Pokémon against their will."

"Ember speaks the truth again." Brock stated.

Solana stared at Ember again. "Well that's all right then. The Ranger Union will be surprised to hear this."

"I must ask, how are we going to get through the vines?" May asked.

"Well I have Kazuki with me." Ember said.

"I have Sceptile as well." Alain added.

"So we can have them use Cut to get through." Ember suggested.

"That's a good plan Ember, Alain," Solana agreed, "but we'll need some more help than that." She took out her phone thing and started to scan the wild Pokémon living in the area.

"What is that thing that you've got there?" May asked.

"This is a Capture Styler." Solana answered.

Solana explained that a capture styler was a device that scanned a Pokémon's abilities and conditions, and that it was helpful to Pokémon rangers when they needed wild Pokémon to help them.

"From the look of that thing, it's like a phone, map and Pokédex all put together." Ember commented.

Solana chuckled, "You could say that, Ember. It's a very handy device for a Pokémon Ranger."

Just then Solana scanned three wild Linoones and they all knew Slash. "These Linoones will do the job," she said. She pressed a button on her capture styler and then the device sent out a spinning top thing and it went towards the Linoones, spinning around them. Solana then used her device to control the spinning top like a remote control, and it circled around the three Linoones. Then the three Linoones glowed white for a second and then Solana shouted, "Capture complete!"

"Uh what did you do?" May asked Solana.

Brock explained that Solana used her capture styler to capture the three Linoones, but not like as capturing with Pokéballs; the capture styler let's Solana borrow the wild Pokémon for help, and then release them again when done. The gang was surprised by this.

"Kazuki, use Cut on the vines." Ember released her Forest Pokémon.

"Sceptile, use Cut as well." Alain released his Forest Pokémon.

"Linoones, use Slash!" Solana ordered.

Kazuki, Sceptile and the Linoones cut away the vines and Solana and the gang were able to get through.

Soon enough, Solana and the gang spotted Tesla who was playing with a Celebi.

"Tesla, there you are! We were worried about you!" Ember called out.

Solana saw Celebi and went to check it. "Don't be afraid, Celebi." she assured Celebi, "We're here to help you."

Tesla spoke to Celebi, saying that the human spoke the truth. Celebi looked at the humans and agreed to let them help. Brock gave Celebi some medicine to heal and Solana laid Celebi down on a blanket and pillow to rest.

"All Celebi needs is a good night's sleep, and it should be all right." Solana confirmed.

"I wonder why Celebi placed all these vines here?" May pondered.

"It must have been in trouble somewhere in the past or future." Brock suggested.

"When Celebi are in danger, they time travel into the past or future to escape and when they're tired or hurt, they put vines up to protect themselves till they're well again." Ember explained.

"How do you know that?" Solana asked.

"I know because the wild Celebi I met before did this." Ember replied.

"I'm impressed with your knowledge of legendary Pokémon, Ember." Solana smiled.

"I've read about legendary Pokémon lots of times." Ember replied.

"Not to mention that you've encountered a few as well." Alain added.

The next day, Solana and the gang woke up to see that Celebi was fine and healthy again. The Celebi made the vines vanish because it didn't need them anymore. Suddenly it got grabbed by a mechanical arm of a robot.

"Release Celebi at once!" Solana shouted.

"No can do!" Jessie taunted.

"We must be going!" James added.

"Chow!" Meowth added.

The robot turned around and was about to leave when Ember's eyes glowed blue and then Team Rocket's robot were outlined blue, stopping them in their tracks.

Seeing that Team Rocket wasn't moving, Solana decided that this would be a chance to help Celebi. She ran towards the robot and jumped onto the arm.

"Plusle, use Iron Tail!" Plusle's tail glows a metallic color and slices the robot's claws in half, freeing Celebi.

Celebi flew away from the robot as Solana quickly got down from the robot and ran away from it.

"Plusle, Thunder Wave!" Plusle released electricity from its body and launches it towards Team Rocket's robot which caused the trio to scream out in pain and blew up their robot, sending them flying into the air.

"Back to being an ice cube!" Meowth declared.

"This Cacnea pop is sticking to me!" James whined.

"No Celebi! No money! Nothing but a bad case of brain freeze!" Jessie added while holding her head in pain.

"Wobbaffet!" Wobbuffet shivered.

"WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" The trio screamed before they disappeared into the sky.

DING!

But there was trouble; Team Rocket's machine was on fire, and it could burn the forest. Ember was about to grab a Pokéball to help, but she didn't need to do anything. Celebi used its vines and power to put out the fire and heal the forest, so everything was all right now. Since Celebi was all right now, it was going to time travel again.

Solana and the gang said goodbye to Celebi and told it to take care. Celebi glowed green and vanished. Solana contacted the Ranger Base and told them that the mission was complete.

"I can't thank you guys enough for helping me." Solana thanked the gang.

Brock appeared in front of her and held her hands. "How about a romantic dinner? Just the two of us?"

Max grabbed Brock's ear and began dragging him away, "A table for one sounds a whole lot better."

"The ear! The ear!" Brock screamed.

"It was an honor to help a Pokémon Ranger for once." Alain admitted.

"If we're ever in the area, we'll be glad to help you." Ember promised.

"Thank you." Solana smiled.

"Plusle!" Plusle trilled.

Now that Celebi was safe and the vines were all gone, the gang could now take the bike bridge for Fuchsia City.
